Uncovering COVID-19 lies; could it have been an intelligence operation?

Glenn Beck has spent years exposing COVID-19 for what it really was: a cover-up.

Now, BlazeTV host and Free the People president Matt Kibbe is joining him after his own deep dive into the latest evidence that Fauci was lying the entire time.

“Nobody thinks anybody’s going to pay, but I actually believe because of what you’re going to start showing tonight, and with Rand Paul, it’s going to happen,” Glenn says, referencing Kibbe’s docuseries "The Coverup," which is available now for BlazeTV subscribers.

“A lot of Fauci deputies are starting to talk,” Kibbe says. “We had a former NIH director announce in testimony that of course we were doing gain-of-function research. So pretty much a smoking gun.”

While Fauci has continuously called Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) a liar as he challenged him over the past four years, it seems that Fauci was the real liar all along.

“This wasn’t a public health response. It certainly wasn’t a scientific response. It probably is a national security response,” Kibbe says. “I mean that the actors, and we still don’t know who they all are, don’t work at NIH. They don’t work at the CDC. They work in the alphabet agencies starting with Homeland Security.”

“I think this story goes back to the response to anthrax, and the response to the war on terror, and a bipartisan obsession with bioterrorism,” he adds.

What Kibbe believes is that he’s been uncovering what is a “mad science experiment driven by the security agencies.”

“We’re going to imagine what our enemies might do to us, we’re going to harvest those viruses, we’re going to manipulate them, and then we’re going to come up with a solution to everything.”

WATCH: Sen. Rand Paul responds to Fauci's 'juvenile' attacks and 'misdirection’: We still need ANSWERS

After new information came out that suggests Dr. Anthony Fauci intimidated and bribed scientists into dismissing the COVID-19 lab-leak theory, Sen. Rand Paul and Fauci got into a heated debate in a Senate hearing. But instead of providing answers, Fauci accused Sen. Paul of endangering him.

Sen. Paul joined "The Glenn Beck Program" Wednesday with his response and explained why he believes "people live in fear of what [Fauci] will do to them."

"It's all about money. If you cross Tony Fauci, you don't get your money. He controls the purse strings for the entire country, the entire university system. And he's been doing it for forty years," Sen. Paul began.

"It's consistent with his arrogance, this level of arrogance that he's developed. He said several weeks ago, that he is science and any attack on him is an attack on science. Yesterday, he said anybody who opposes him is encouraging death threats," he added.

"Look, I've been on the receiving end of semi-automatic gunfire. I was 20 yards away from Steve Scalise when he almost died. I was 10 feet away from a staffer that was shot. And, you know what? The guy doing the shooting was a Bernie Sanders supporter. But not one of us, not one of the Republicans on the ball field, said, 'Oh, it was Bernie Sanders' fault.' But that's the juvenile level of personal attack that Fauci is now stooping to. He is saying that the personal threats he gets are actually the fault of his critics."

Sen. Paul continued, "But the thing is, [Fauci] needs to answer the question. Everything he did in the committee yesterday was misdirection so he didn't have to answer the question. The question was, why did he smear three scientists from Stanford, Oxford, and Harvard? Why did he smear them as fringe epidemiologists? And why did he conspire against Francis Collins to take them down in a very public way? He wouldn't answer the question."

Glenn Beck: Rand Paul was RIGHT to say Dr. Fauci LIED about gain-of-function

The corporate media is doing everything it can to protect Dr. Anthony Fauci after Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) roasted him for allegedly lying to Congress about funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China.

During an extremely heated exchange at a Senate hearing on Tuesday, Sen. Paul challenged Dr. Fauci — who, as the director of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases, oversees research programs at the National Institute of Health — on whether the NIH funded dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Dr. Fauci denied the claims, but as Sen. Paul knows, there are documents that prove Dr. Fauci's NIH was funding gain-of-function research in the Wuhan biolab before COVID-19 broke out in China.

On "The Glenn Beck Program," Glenn and Producer Stu Burguiere presented the proof, because Dr. Fauci's shifting defenses don't change the truth.

WATCH: Fauci EXPLODES on Sen. Rand Paul after being confronted about COVID-19 testimony

On the latest episode of "The Rubin Report," BlazeTV host Dave Rubin discussed Republican Sen. Rand Paul's clash with Dr. Anthony Fauci on Tuesday over the NIH's role in funding the coronavirus research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. As director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Fauci oversees several National Institutes of Health research programs.

Dave shared a video clip of the Senate Health Committee hearing over the origins of COVID-19 in which Sen. Paul accused Dr. Fauci of lying in his previous statements about NIH funded gain-of-function research being conducted in Wuhan, China.

In the clip, Sen. Paul presented the following information:

Dr. Fauci, as you are aware it is a crime to lie to Congress. Section 1001 of the U.S. criminal code creates a felony and a five-year penalty for lying to Congress. On your last trip to our committee on May 11, you stated that the NIH 'has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.' And yet, gain-of-function research was done entirely in the Wuhan Institute by Dr. Shi, and was funded by the NIH.

In this paper, Dr. Shi credits the NIH and lists the actual number of the grant that she was given by the NIH. In this paper, she took two bat coronavirus genes, spike genes, and combined them with a SARS related backbone to create new viruses that are not found in nature.

These lab created viruses were then to shown to replicate in humans. These experiments combined genetic information from different coronaviruses that infect animals, but not humans, to create novel artificial viruses able to infect human cells. Viruses that in nature only infect animals were manipulated in the Wuhan lab to gain the function of infecting humans. This research fits the definition of the research that the NIH said was subject to the pause in 2014 to 2017, a pause in funding on gain-of-function.

The Wuhan lab used NIH funding to construct novel chimeric SARS related to coronaviruses able to infect human cells and laboratory animals. This is high risk research that creates new potential pandemic pathogens, potential pandemic pathogens that exist only in the lab, not in nature. This research matches … these are Dr. Ebright's words. This research matches, indeed epitomizes the definition of gain of function research, done entirely in Wuhan, for which there was supposed to be a federal pause.

Dr. Fauci, knowing that it is a crime to lie to Congress, do you wish to retract your statement of May 11th, where you claimed that the NIH never funded gain-of-function research in Wuhan.

Dr. Fauci responded:

Sen. Paul, I have never lied before the Congress, and I do not retract that statement. This paper that you were referring to was judged by qualified staff up and down the chain as not being gain of function. What was … let me finish ...

Sen. Paul interjected:

You take an animal virus and you increase its transmissibility to humans. You're saying that's not gain-of-function?

Dr. Fauci replied:

Yeah, that is correct. And Senator Paul, you do not know what you are talking about, quite frankly. And I want to say that officially, you do not know what you are talking about, OK?

And then the gloves really came off.
