The data continues to stack up against the trans narrative

For years, the public has been sold a false narrative: Children who experience gender distress must be affirmed — socially, hormonally, and even surgically — or they will suffer devastating mental health consequences.

However, now that some time has passed, the data shows a very different picture.

The treatments being presented as lifesaving are not addressing the pain and root problem whatsoever.

A large-scale Finnish study tracking young people referred for gender dysphoria found that the primary driver of poor mental health outcomes was not gender identity itself, but underlying psychiatric conditions.

Even more unsettling, medical interventions such as hormones and surgeries did not demonstrate a clear reduction of suicide risk.

In other words, the treatments being presented as lifesaving are not addressing the pain and root problem whatsoever. The current model of treating gender-confused youth is not delivering on its promises.

When I was a teenager, I was subjected to coercion to “become” a boy because my doctors and counselors peddled this as the solution to all of my problems. Turns out, it wasn’t.

I vividly remember walking into many doctors’ and therapists’ offices. I was depressed, had an eating disorder, and grew up in a tumultuous environment as a kid. That combination is usually a recipe for disaster. The root cause wasn’t that I was trans; it was that I had been through several traumatic experiences that no teenager or adolescent should face.

I am a detransitioner, meaning I am someone who went through the processes of “gender-affirming care” and have now reverted to identifying with my biological sex — a woman.

My experience is just one of many. Several of my friends and peers have experienced the same coercion and pressure to “accept” that they are another sex.

The Finnish study is not alone, however. It also aligns with another study done in the U.K., which found that the evidence for pediatric gender medicine is “remarkably weak” and that young patients often present with complex mental health needs requiring comprehensive psychological care, not surgical mutilation.

Together, these studies show a clear picture: The way that we currently handle this issue is completely wrong.

Children who present with distress, a rough home life, and being chronically online are often put on a conveyor belt of social transition, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and irreversible surgeries.

Even more outrageous is that some of these can get approved in a doctor’s office without the consent of a parent or guardian. To do this behind parents’ backs and to encourage secrecy surrounding their social transition should be a crime.

The result of these practices has been disastrous for trust in our institutions, our health care system, and our school districts. Escalating these so-called treatments only further amplifies their harmful effects.

Hormonal interventions affect bone density, fertility, and long-term endocrine function. Surgical interventions are irreversible. These are serious medical decisions being made for patients who are, by definition, still developing.

My fight for justice is not simply about my own experience, although I have been through hell and back. It is fundamentally a question of ethics in medicine that the legal system must answer.

The evidence is stacking up against the false narrative that trans surgeries equate to lifesaving care. Children placed on this path often do not and will not fully understand its consequences until years later. By then, the damage has already been done.

Without action in every state, every medical institution, and every governing body, there will be continued pressure to worship an ideology with no scientific backing. The data is no longer in question. The evidence is settled. I believe the consensus is clear: We must end this abominable practice immediately.

3 must-watch highlights from Allie Beth Stuckey’s David French debate

Yesterday, BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey debated New York Times columnist David French, who has long identified as an evangelical Christian and a conservative.

Despite their shared theological and political identities, Stuckey and French clash on a number of issues, including transgender pronouns and gender ideology, abortion, and Texas Democratic Senate nominee James Talarico, among others.

In their 95-minute debate, the duo respectfully went head-to-head on topics that have drawn strong criticism of French from many on the conservative right.

Here are three highlights from the debate:

Talarico dispute

Allie brought up French’s recent article in which he praised Texas Democratic Senate nominee James Talarico as a Christian who sets a positive example of the faith in politics compared to “MAGA Christianity.”

In contrast, Allie has sharply criticized Talarico’s progressive theological views, accusing him of twisting Scripture to support abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism, and left-wing policies

But French doubled down: “I’m just really not willing to say James Talarico is not a Christian.”

He continued, “When I look at our political discourse around Christianity in this country and political Christianity, it’s so broken. ... We’re writing people out of Christianity based on policy positions.”

Allie pushed back, arguing that Talarico is pushing far more than policy positions.

“They’re not policy positions to say God is non-binary ... or to say our trans neighbors need abortion care too, or to say that, ‘I think all religions share the same central truth,’” she countered, insisting that these are primarily “theological” issues.

Given that Talarico refuses to “affirm Genesis 1,” Allie made it clear that it’s “going to be tough” to agree that he’s the Christian he identifies as.

The Harris vote

In another part of the debate, Allie brought up French’s 2024 endorsement of Kamala Harris.

“I don’t understand voting for someone like Kamala Harris,” she said, referencing the Biden DOJ’s removal of SNAP benefits for public schools that refused to allow biological males to use girls’ facilities or compete on girls’ teams.

She also pointed to Harris’ pledge to restore the Roe v. Wade framework and her opposition to bills banning late-term abortions.

“I agree with you on so many of these issues. ... I just don’t think I could ever vote for Kamala Harris,” she reiterated.

French countered by arguing that for him, the Russia-Ukraine War took precedence over gender and abortion issues.

“I would place a war in which a million people are being killed and injured, which could potentially lead to a World War III that we may not survive as a species ... way above things like pronouns,” he said.

But Allie pushed back on what she saw as “diminishment” of her original argument.

“You know I’m not just talking about pronouns,” she resisted.

“I’m talking about medical guidance for hospitals to chemically castrate kids. I’m talking about in Democrat states ... taking kids out of the custody of their parents because the parents won’t affirm this newfound gender of the child,” she continued.

Pronoun clash

Allie also called out what she perceived to be conflicting statements regarding French’s position on “pronoun politeness.”

Last year during a podcast, French referred to his male colleague (Brian Riedl) who identifies as a woman using female pronouns — an act many, including Allie, perceived as a contradiction to his 2018 article, in which he wrote, “The use of a pronoun isn’t a matter of mere manners. It’s a declaration of a fact. I won’t call Chelsea Manning ‘she’ for a very simple reason. He’s a man.”

“Is your stance one of pronoun politeness that you believe that a man who identifies as a woman should be referred to as ‘she/her’?” Allie inquired.

French claimed he “didn’t remember” using female pronouns to refer to Riedl and partially reaffirmed his 2018 statement.

After praising Riedl as a “brilliant analyst,” French stated, “I’m going to be kind to [trans people], but I also don’t want to say things that I don’t believe are true, and so the way I deal with that is, I use people’s names.”

He caveated, however, by declaring that he’s “definitely not going to go out of [his] way” to call trans-identifying people by the pronouns matching their biological sex.

Allie replied, “I don’t see it as unkind calling someone, whether it’s to their face or not to their face, the gender that God made them.”

But French dissented. “Oh, I think if somebody is dealing with gender dysphoria, ... I don’t see the value in me saying something to them that I know and they know is going to be hurtful to them.”

“It’s just normal, complete politeness and manners,” he continued.

“I’m just not going to go out of my way to say something that I know is going to be hurtful just because I can justify it as being true. All true words are not kind by virtue of just simply being true.”

Allie conceded, “I agree that you don’t have to be rude to someone and say, ‘That shirt looks bad on you.’”

“But when it comes to [gender], when we know it’s a lie that damages someone, that hurts them spiritually and physically and emotionally, hurts their family, I just can’t get on board with assenting to the idea that 2+2=5.”

Overall, the debate offered a revealing look at the growing divide within evangelical Christianity over truth, compassion, and cultural engagement. Watch the full hour-and-a-half exchange below.

‘An unhealthy obsession’: James Talarico praises trans children as 'perfect' and 'sacred'

Texas state Rep. James Talarico handily defeated Rep. Jasmine Crockett in the Texas Democratic primary for Senate — and BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales is not thrilled.

“He really seems to love trans kids, like to an unhealthy degree,” Gonzales says on “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered.”

And he made that clear in an appearance on “A Superbloom Podcast,” where the host asked Talarico to tell her something that he loves “that’s not family or friends.”

“I love, I’m just saying this because it’s on my mind, the trans children who showed up yesterday at the state Capitol to advocate for their humanity. They shouldn’t have to, but it was an inspiration to watch,” Talarico responded.

In another clip of Talarico, he explains that “trans children are God’s children made in God’s own image.”

“There’s nothing wrong with them. Nothing at all. They are perfect. They are beautiful. And they are sacred. Bullying children is immoral. It's a sin. A special kind of sin,” he continued.

“Yes, I agree. God designed them how they were born, and that’s how they should stay,” Gonzales comments.

But that’s not the end of Talarico’s pro-trans commentary.

“I want to acknowledge that our trans community needs abortion care too. Defending trans Texans is something that we have to do every day at the state Capitol. And you better believe I’ll be giving sermons on that too,” Talarico said.

“Oh we know you will,” Gonzales says. “We know you’re going to give the sermons on the trans kids because he has himself an obsession.”

What To Know About SCOTUS’s Mirabelli Decision And How It Protects Parents And Kids

Mirabelli offers important signals regarding the state of our highest court, but its most important effect is making sure that vulnerable kids are not abandoned to the state.

Major win for parents: Supreme Court bans schools from transitioning students in secret

The Supreme Court has granted a request from a group of California parents to reinstate a ruling that bans schools from hiding “children’s gender presentation” from them — and forces them to follow the parents' instructions regarding the names and pronouns the children use.

BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey counts this as a win.

“Parents should absolutely know if their child is going by different pronouns or declaring that they are a boy at school. Right now in California, a student can go to school, say that ‘I want to transition to the opposite sex,’ and the student doesn’t have to notify parents,” she explains.

“They can socially transition that child. They can also get that child to a particular professional that will help them get the psychiatric care and the different medical treatments that they are seeking in order to look like the opposite sex,” she says.

Stuckey recalls a case out of California concerning Abigail Martinez, who lost custody of her teenage daughter Yaeli because she refused to support her transition.

Yaeli was placed in a group home, and a judge ruled that she could begin cross-sex hormones — but Yaeli took her own life.

“That’s what happens when you remove kids from the homes of parents who simply want what is best for their kids,” Stuckey says.

“You’ve got people framing this as, like, ‘Oh, it’s protection from abuse when the school won’t inform the parents of what’s really going on.’ The opposite is true. No one cares about your child the way that you do. No one knows your child the way that you do. The school does not care if your child lives or dies,” she continues.

However, while Stuckey is pleased with the ruling, she points out that it was only ruled unconstitutional because of the parental rights aspect, and there’s a long way to go before all of it is “completely illegal and stigmatized and criminalized.”

“You should actually go to prison if you are calling a child by the wrong, non-biological pronoun and encouraging them to change sexes,” Stuckey says.

“The Supreme Court is not where they need to be in understanding what is actually driving this gender deception among kids. It’s not genuine gender dysphoria,” she continues.

“It is pornography. It is propaganda. It is sexual perversion and even sexual abuse that’s going on. It has very little to do with gender dysphoria. So we’re not yet to the root of all of this in driving this out legally and ideologically, but this absolutely is a win for parents,” she adds.

The Violence From Trans iPad Kids Is About To Get A Lot Worse

Maybe you’ve got strict screen guardrails at home, but do you want your kid in the same room, or even the same building, as the iPad kid every day for 12 years?

First detransitioner to reach trial awarded $2M in groundbreaking malpractice case against doctors

A woman who underwent breast removal surgery at 16 years old was awarded $2 million in the first medical malpractice lawsuit brought by a detransitioner to go to trial.

'There will be thousands of court cases of children who were mutilated by evil doctors.'

Fox Varian, 22, sued her New York-based psychologist and plastic surgeon, and their respective employers, after regretting the 2019 surgery.

Varian's attorney contended that the health care professionals misdiagnosed and improperly treated her for gender dysphoria.

The defense claimed that Varian did not express regret about the surgery until years later, filing the lawsuit in 2023. They also argued that it was Varian's decision to use "he/him" pronouns, change her name, wear a chest binder, and undergo breast removal surgery.

Varian's lawyer claimed that her psychologist "drove the train" and had been "putting ideas" in her head.

Varian's mother testified that she opposed the surgery. However, she consented to it because she feared her daughter might commit suicide otherwise. She claimed that Varian's psychologist intensified her concerns.

During her testimony, Varian described her reaction to the surgery.

"I immediately had a thought that this was wrong, and it couldn't be true," she stated, adding that she has since suffered nerve pain that feels like "searing hot ... ripping sensations across my chest."

"Shame. I felt shame," Varian said. "It's hard to face that you are disfigured for life."

The six-member jury determined that the medical professionals involved overlooked essential steps in assessing whether Varian should proceed with the permanent procedure and failed to communicate adequately with one another.

The jury concluded that these failures were a "departure from the standard of care," awarding Varian $1.6 million for past and future pain and suffering, and $400,000 for future medical expenses, the Epoch Times reported.

Varian's attorney, Adam Deutsch, had requested $8 million in damages.

The case was not about whether the surgery was appropriate for a minor. Instead, it concerned whether the health care professionals followed the proper steps to prioritize Varian's treatment, including delivering an accurate diagnosis.

"I have identified 28 detransitioner lawsuits filed to date. Varian v. Einhorn was the first to go to trial and the first to win a judgment, making history," wrote Benjamin Ryan, an independent journalist who attended the three-week trial.

Elon Musk reacted to Varian's legal victory.

"There will be thousands of court cases of children who were mutilated by evil doctors, modern day Mengeles," Musk wrote, referring to Josef Mengele, an infamous Nazi doctor who became known as the "Angel of Death" for his gruesome medical experiments.

"The schools, psychologists/psychiatrists and state officials who facilitated this will pay dearly too," Musk added.

Only Four Democrats Vote To Stop Taxpayer Funding Of Child Sex Changes In Medicaid

Four House Democrats joined Republicans to pass a bill halting federal Medicaid funding of sex change surgeries and medications for minors on Thursday.  Texas Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw sponsored the bill, the “Do No Harm In Medicaid Act,” alongside Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. The legislation, if passed by the Senate, would amend the […]

RFK Jr. moves to ban transgender procedures for children: 'This is not medicine; it is malpractice'

Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is leading the charge to protect children across America from life-shattering transgender procedures.

Kennedy announced a new declaration on Thursday moving to ban sex-altering operations, hormone replacement therapy, and other irreversible medical procedures that target children suffering from gender dysphoria. Rather than affirming tragic delusions and relying on taxpayers to subsidize these experimental interventions, Kennedy's health department is working to pull funding and impose enforcement actions on the medical institutions that profit off of vulnerable children.

'We're done with junk science driven by ideological pursuits.'

“The Trump administration will not stand by while ideology, misinformation, and propaganda push vulnerable young people into decisions they cannot fully understand and that they can never reverse," Kennedy said Thursday.

“There is divine worth in every person, and it shines most brightly in our children. That worth commands us to protect them.”

Kennedy was flanked by numerous health officials in President Donald Trump's administration, Republican lawmakers, and even Chloe Cole, a de-transitioner who described her own traumatic experience with the medical industry.

"It’s not too late to accept the beautiful way God has created you," Cole said during her remarks.

Kennedy went on to describe the predatory nature of the medical institutions that convince American youth that sex is malleable and that a life-altering, irreversible medical procedure is a one-size-fits-all solution to the mental health struggles for these children.

"They betray the estimated 300,000 American youth ages 13 to 17 conditioned to believe that sex can be changed," Kennedy said. "They betrayed their Hippocratic Oath to 'do no harm.' So-called gender affirming care has inflicted lasting physical and psychological damage on vulnerable young people. This is not medicine; it is malpractice."

"We're done with junk science driven by ideological pursuits, not the well-being of children.”
