‘We want to fight back’: IRS whistleblower SUES Hunter Biden's lawyer for $20 MILLION

With a government as corrupt as ours, it can sometimes seem that the “good guys” never win and that the “bad guys” always get away unscathed.

However, there’s a glimmer of hope.

When IRS investigator turned whistleblower Gary Shapley accused the IRS of covering up Hunter Biden’s tax crimes, he was initially “smeared and really destroyed.” But now the tables have hopefully turned, and Shapley is suing Hunter’s lawyer Abbe Lowell for $20 million.

The amount would be $10 million for Shapley and $10 million for his fellow whistleblower Joseph Zigler for defamation.

“The complaint alleges that Mr. Lowell defamed us and was part of an overall smear campaign to attack both Joe Ziegler and I for coming forward, following the law, going to Congress, and disclosing the preferential treatment that his client was receiving by the Department of Justice, FBI, and IRS,” Shapley tells Glenn Beck of “The Glenn Beck Program.”

Empower Oversight President Tristan Leavitt has worked to protect whistleblowers, and he tells Glenn that he has just testified against the weaponization committee.

“There were three of our FBI clients that have been there in the past,” Leavitt tells Glenn. “It’s very, very common for whistleblowers to be lied about and defamed, and so that’s part of why we really want to create consequences for that.”

“We are supporting, we are funding this lawsuit that Gary and Joe are bringing against Abbe Lowell,” Leavitt continues. “There’s never any consequences for people just lying with impunity. They just get away with it, and so we want to fight back.”

Glenn: THIS Hunter Biden IRS news should be EVERYWHERE

On Wednesday, the House Oversight Committee heard from IRS whistleblowers Joseph Ziegler and Gary Shapley as they continued to testify that the federal government is complicit in cover-ups for the Biden family.

Shapley took the stand to repeat what happened when they had attempted to interview Hunter Biden.

While being questioned by Representative Armstrong, Shapley said that when it was made known to a special agent at the L.A. FBI field office that he and others were tasked with interviewing Hunter Biden, everything changed.

The information had apparently gotten out to the transition team, which according to Rep. Armstrong is a “political operation set up to help the president-elect vet cabinet employees, work on inauguration, do all of those things.”

“They have any special investigative powers I don’t know about?” He asked.

“Not that I would know of,” Shapley responded, adding that in his 14 years, they have never been a part of any past criminal investigations.

“Last question,” Armstrong warned, “Did you ever get to interview Hunter Biden?”

“We did not interview him,” Shapley said.

“Holy cow,” Glenn Beck, gasps, shocked.

Stu Burguiere is in agreement, adding, “This is the same quality of investigation we got from the cocaine in the White House.”

But it got worse as Shapley went into even more detail.

“The Justice Department allowed the president’s political appointees to weigh in on whether to charge the president’s son. After the United States attorney for D.C., Matthew Graves, appointed by President Biden, refused to bring charges in March 2022, I watched United States Attorney Weiss tell a room full of senior FBI and IRS senior leaders on October 7, 2022, that he was not the deciding person on whether charges were filed.”

“That was my red line,” Shapley added.

Is this the END of the Biden dynasty?

The two IRS whistleblowers have been unwavering in their accusations, and it’s not looking good for the Bidens.

The House Oversight Committee just heard from Joseph Ziegler and Gary Shapley as they continue to claim that the Justice Department politicized the Hunter Biden criminal probe and that the Bidens have been making money under the table.

Ziegler is a 13-year IRS special agent with the Criminal Investigation Division, while Shapley is a 14-year IRS special agent as well as Ziegler’s supervisor.

At an IRS whistleblower hearing, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) praised their testimonies.

“You know whose story hasn’t changed? These two guys. Their testimony has been consistent throughout. Their testimony has been the same. And guess what? Two days ago, an FBI agent confirmed their testimony,” Jordan said.

“Who are you gonna believe?” he continued, adding, “The Justice Department can’t get their story straight. Changed three times in thirty-three days.”

“I think I’ll believe these guys,” Jordan said as he pointed to the whistleblowers. “They’re the ones telling the truth.”

Pat Gray agrees with Jordan.

“I believe it too,” he says, though he and his panel admit it's hard to be a fan of the IRS at times.

Ziegler, the most recent whistleblower to come out, explained how the case against Hunter Biden unfolded.

“While the impression has been conveyed by the U.S. attorney in Delaware that he has similar powers to that of a special counsel in this case, free rein to do as needed, that was not the case,” Ziegler said, adding that the U.S. attorney was “constantly hamstrung, limited, and marginalized by DOJ officials as well as other U.S. attorneys.”

Ziegler, who has self-described as a “gay Democrat,” testified that he still thinks a “special counsel is necessary for this investigation.”

Ziegler also mentioned that the DOJ’s public documents on action against Hunter Biden offer zero indication that the first son will be required to amend his false tax return for 2018.

Ana Navarro of 'The View' Calls Biden’s Defense of Hunter an 'ACT OF LOVE'?!

Who said love without discipline isn’t really love?

If that’s the case, why does Joe Biden continue to defend his son’s despicable actions? Over and over again.

Many would call this ongoing defense equally despicable.

But apparently not Ana Navarro of “The View.” She, on the contrary, finds President Biden coming to his son’s aid yet again a “story of a father’s love.”

Joe Biden “is a father first,” she says, “and he will never give up on his son Hunter.”

How charming.

Dave Rubin, on the other hand, isn’t nearly as forgiving.

“He’s a father first,” he mocks. “This is the same father who told us repeatedly that he’s never discussed business dealings with his son. What a great dad.”

TIME’S UP: Will Congress FINALLY stand against the IRS & FBI?

A second IRS whistleblower has emerged to share concerns with Congress about the handling of Hunter Biden’s crimes and tax fraud schemes — joining several other whistleblowers who have come out recently against the government’s three-letter agencies.

Glenn Beck explains, “What they’re saying is that the Justice Department came in and said ‘uh yeah, you guys don’t need to look at all of that stuff,’ and they’re like ‘excuse me we’re the IRS we are looking at all the banking stuff and all the money stuff.’”

When the IRS continued pushing back, the entire staff focused on this particular subject was let go.

The IRS case agent had raised concerns about the Hunter Biden investigation, but IRS leadership quickly responded with accusations of criminal conduct and warnings to other agents in an apparent attempt to intimidate the whistleblower into silence.

Now, Congress is in a battle with the FBI to get documents showing a criminal scheme involving Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national released. However, the FBI won’t admit to having the documents.

But Glenn Beck doesn’t necessarily see all of this as a bad thing — in fact, he sees it as inspiring hope.

He believes that the number of whistleblowers coming out against the government may actually push Congress to take a stand against these corrupt and all-powerful agencies.

“I’m starting to have hope that there are enough people in Congress,” Glenn says, “that they’re gonna’ fight their way out of this. They’re not going to take this for so long.”

According to Stu, this is where the REINS Act of 2023 comes in, which he says would be a “really, really big improvement to our government and our country.”

“It would basically limit them from making these little rules that no one votes on,” Stu explains, adding that “if you’re going to affect the economy by a hundred million dollars or more, you have to get a vote of approval — you can't just do it willy-nilly.”
