Why more Americans are waking up to the intersectionality hoax

The best way to end racism in this country is to stop being racist — and that includes standing against the left’s obsession over race.

President Trump is cracking down on the left’s pervasive racism, veiled as “anti-racist,” by finally stopping the diversity, equity, and inclusion grift, which is just another iteration of cultural Marxism. Amid Trump’s pushback against DEI programs, however, we mustn’t overlook another destructive force used by progressives that underpins their race obsession: intersectionality.

Minorities serve the left’s intersectionality mission of dividing America.

Intersectionality is a leftist tool to pool various minorities and “marginalized” identity groups together into a politically viable mass. Each group is made to think, feel, act, speak, and — of course — vote alike.

Intersectionality is one of the ways leftists tell minority or “marginalized communities” that they are united in a glorious cause to defeat their oppressors — who always happen to be the ones to refuse the left-wing narrative.

These minority groups are often convinced by left-wing extremists to vote against their own best interests. It’s insidious.

Breaking the narrative

As your liberty-loving Latino, I can attest that race and ethnicity do not predetermine my worldview. For example, despite CNN’s claims, being Latino does not mean supporting illegal immigration. Many on the left argue otherwise.

The very idea that just because I’m Hispanic, I should automatically share a common cause with leftists who also happen to be minorities — or Democrats burdened by “white guilt” — is so absurd that even longtime Democrat mouthpiece and strategist James Carville has recently called on his own party to stop being racist.

Earlier this month, during his “Politics War Room” podcast, Carville — who has long chastised the Democratic Party for its obsession with “identity politics,” calling it “so freaking arrogant” — condemned his party as racist for constantly referring to blanket terms like “communities of color” and “people of color” to describe individual Americans. Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.), who was on the podcast with Carville, agreed.

“The most racist thing that I hear is when people say ‘communities of color’ or ‘people of color’ because that assumes that everybody that is not white is the same,” Carville said. “Filipinos are the same as Hondurans, are the same as Nigerians, are the same as Indonesians? It’s absurd.” He continued: “And [Democrats] just keep using this language, and I think they’re too naive to know how stupid it is. That’s my own view.”

Yet these groups are lumped together by leftists in the Democratic Party and the press into one group. Why? Because, alone, they don’t make up a large enough voting bloc for left-wingers to give a darn. But together, they serve the left’s intersectionality mission: dividing America. Who cares if their issues are never addressed? They are united by collectivist thought. What matters is putting leftists in power.

The intersectional illusion

Even elitist Hollywood is rejecting the illusion of intersectionality. A Hispanic transgender person was caught failing to toe the leftist line when tweets by Oscar-nominated "Emilia Perez" star Karla Sofia Gascon surfaced. Her views on everything from George Floyd to Oscar diversity — Hollywood’s race-based award-rigging — were in complete discord with leftist orthodoxy.

I don’t particularly care about Gascon’s tweets, but the point is this: Someone who, by leftist logic, should have been all in on intersectionality because both brown and trans, wasn’t.

How many times have we seen this before? From Joy Reid’s anti-Semitic, Islamophobic, homophobic, and racist messaging blog posts to Dave Chappelle’s ongoing battle with the trans community to Kanye West’s many controversial statements.

These members of so-called minority groups aren’t supposed to say, feel, think, or do these things. But they did. Ain’t freedom grand?

Free thinking vilified

On the flip side, look at what happens when people who are supposed to be protected under this conformist blanket dare speak out of turn. Consider New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) or Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Remember how Bruce Jenner was a left-wing darling for his transition before he donned a MAGA hat?

Take former Democratic National Committee powerhouse Lindy Li, an Asian woman who dared to say Kamala Harris was a weak presidential candidate. Li was lambasted by members of her own party for merely speaking her mind, and she ultimately left the Democratic Party altogether. In an interview, she referred to her “transition” as “like leaving a cult.”

Here we are in 2025 — and the tide is turning. I am the individual Chris Salcedo. I am a liberty-loving Latino. I am a proud Texan. I am not part of some arbitrary larger critical mass randomly lumped together by out-of-touch academics, cultural theoreticians, rowdy student protesters, or brain-dead ideologues in the biased press. And more people are waking up to the fake promise and cult-like reality of intersectionality.

Recent events in politics, entertainment, media, and economics finally indicate what we on the right have been fighting for: Intersectionality is dead. The emperor’s new clothes have been pointed out, and just like in the original fable, the clothes were never there to begin with.

'Woke Jesus' from Babylon Bee says to turn the other cheek, except for Republicans: 'Feel free to punch them in the face'

Christian satire outfit the Babylon Bee has released a new video that's bound to get leftists fuming as everyone else laughs: "Woke Jesus."

The clip follows Woke Jesus around the countryside as he delivers well-known commands and truths from the Gospels in a pseudo British accent — but with a left-wing twist.

"Do not be afraid," Woke Jesus gently replies to Martha. "For Lazarus will live again — through this mail-in ballot."

The video opens with Woke Jesus walking on a road as people follow him, and he tells them: "If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn and offer the other also — unless they're a Republican, then you can feel free to punch them in the face."

Boom.

Yes, it would seem Woke Jesus is exactly what leftists dream of and imagine him to be; he supports all their important causes.

Here's his stance on abortion: "Let the children come unto me, and do not hinder them — unless they might be born into poverty, or they might be an inconvenience to your party lifestyle. In that case, feel free to murder them in the womb."

Wondering how Woke Jesus feels about the transgender agenda? He declares, "Haven't you read that in the beginning, God created them male and female — and gender queer, femboy, trans man, trans woman, Two Spirit ..."

While Woke Jesus' voice fades out, and another scene takes over, hilariously the video intermittently returns to Woke Jesus as he keeps rattling off endless, ridiculous, multiple genders: "Bigender, nonbinary, demi-boi, omni-gender, pan-gender, xeno-gender, someone who identifies as a large ornate building."

Think Woke Jesus buys into that "love your enemies" stuff? Think again.

"You have heard that it was said, 'Hate your enemies,' but I say to you, this is correct," Woke Jesus says before turning to a familiar visual aid. "And here's a handy little chart to help you understand who your enemy is based on Marxist intersectionality theory."

'Be less white'

The biggest satirical takedown may be the send-up of the rich young ruler approaching Jesus and asking him, "What must I do to be saved?"

We're used to the Gospel accounts that indicate Jesus tells him to sell all his possessions, give to the poor, and then to "follow me."

Not Woke Jesus.

To be saved, Woke Jesus tells the man to "be less white."

The narrator then notes that "the man went away sad, for he was very white." Ouch!

You'd think Woke Jesus would at least possess the compassion to raise his friend Lazarus from the dead, but when Martha approaches him in tears and says, "My Lord, if you had been here, my brother Lazarus would not have died," Woke Jesus has something else in mind.

"Do not be afraid," Woke Jesus gently replies to Martha. "For Lazarus will live again — through this mail-in ballot."

The Woke Jesus hits just keep on coming:

  • "I'm the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father — except by reducing their carbon footprint and getting vaccinated 12 times, like me."
  • "Cancel your enemies, curse those who bless you, and burn down the whole country if you don't get your way."

Woke Jesus goes on to endorse the "pretty sweet" leftist tactic of "wealth redistribution" as well as a "new health care bill that will force you to buy insurance. Because I — I'm a good person." His answer to the evils of capitalism? An "eat the rich!" chant.

Rutgers professor claims anyone pointing out that gay people are harshly persecuted in Palestine are the 'homophobic' ones

A Rutgers University professor went to great lengths to attempt to fabricate a paper-thin defense of Palestine being extremely harsh towards LGBTQ individuals.

In the name of intersectionality, Maya Mikdashi attempted to deflect any criticism towards Palestine's proven agenda against any and all LGBTQ rights. The progressive professor instead cried that anyone pointing out the fact that gay people are persecuted in Palestine are the actual ones who are "homophobic."

Mikdashi is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies at Rutgers University in New Jersey.

The professor has a focus on "law, citizenship, secularity, religious conversion, sexual difference, and the war on terror."

Mikdashi has absolutely no issue with bashing the United States for transphobia and a slew of other issues.

Mikdashi wrote in 2016: "The United States is in the midst of an election cycle where bigotry, racism, homophobia, transphobia, anti-immigration, Islamophobia, gun-love, imperial hubris, and sexism are political platforms — and political and national culture is not something one can 'opt out' or into depending on ethnicity, race, religion, sex, gender, or even 'free will.'"

However, Mikdashi will devotedly defend Hamas against anyone who points out the fact that Palestine is fanatically against LGBTQ rights.

According to Equaldex, Palestine ranks 192 out of 197 countries in public opinion about legal rights and freedoms for LGBTQ+ people.

The Williams Institute – a UCLA think tank devoted to gender studies – ranked Palestine 130 out of 175 countries in regards to "social acceptance of LGBTQIA people."

On March 20, Mikdashi spoke at an event titled: "Palestine is a Feminist and Queer Anti-Imperialist Abolition Struggle."

Mikdashi co-hosted the event at the University of Illinois with Dr. Nadine Naber – a professor in the Gender and Women's Studies Program, the Global Asian Studies Program, and the Department of Anthropology at the University of Illinois Chicago.

Naber claimed, "The gender binary is foundational to colonization. And also like that the gender binary – like all borders – are mare possible through state violence."

Mikdashi said during the event, "So I've been at protests where I'm then told, 'Don't you know what Hamas would do to you if you were in Palestine.'"

The woke professor proclaimed, "We have to start naming this as actually as homophobic. You cannot rehearse violence to queer people."

She declared, "It's violent."

Mikdashi claimed that noting that Palestine has a horrendous record on LGBTQ rights is the same as "pinkwashing," which she said was a "form of homophobia."

Pinkwashing is defined as an "appropriation of the LGBTQIA+ movement to promote a particular corporate or political agenda."

Naber added, "If you were to say you were experiencing sexism in the SJP [Students for Justice in Palestine] they would say, 'There goes those Palestinian's again, silencing women in their communities.'"

She continued, "So no one is going to say it. And if you do say it [others] will say you're a 'traitor and collaborating with Zionism.'"

Naber contended that "rape and sexual assault" are embedded in the founding of Israel.

"Indeed the practices of rape and sexual assault that have been well-documented during the founding of Israel and continued today are not an exception or a secondary impact of colonial violence," Naber said as she read from a paper.

"[They] are part of the settler, colonial white supremacist logics and practices of Israel that conflate colonized women with the land and nature and assume that therefore to dominate the land necessitates dominating Palestinian women's bodies and their reproductive capacities from 1948 until today," Naber said, according to the Daily Mail.
