Democrats have dragged anti-law enforcement violence into the political mainstream. We’ve never seen this level of shameless rhetoric — let alone open justification of violence — from a major American political party in our history.

During a House Homeland Security Committee hearing Wednesday, I opened my testimony by reading direct quotes from Democrats calling for violence. I also cited the 830% spike in assaults against Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. I even pleaded with Democrats to stop encouraging threats against law enforcement.

Democrats’ goal was obvious: Slow the hearing down, bore the public, and turn a losing argument into a sleepy C-SPAN rerun.

That’s when Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) lost it.

After just one minute's worth of testimony, Thompson interrupted me mid-statement and demanded a vote to strike my remarks from the record. He failed. I reclaimed my time and continued.

A quick reminder: Thompson chaired the January 6th Select Committee — the entire purpose of which was to blame President Trump for a riot he didn’t cause. Trump explicitly told supporters to remain peaceful and go home. But when I confronted Thompson and his colleagues with their own words — when I showed that they had actually called for violence—he tried to shut me up.

We already knew he was a hypocrite. He just confirmed it.

What triggered him exactly? Maybe it was me quoting a Democrat who told Axios, “There needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public.” Or the one who said, “Civility isn’t working,” and told activists to prepare for “violence.”

Maybe it was when I reminded the room that Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-N.J.) had been indicted for interfering with federal officers at an ICE facility. Or when I listed attacks on the Department of Homeland Security personnel in Alvarado, McAllen, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Linda Vista.

I didn’t even get into the stack of quotes from Democrats calling DHS officers “Nazis,” “terrorists,” or “the Gestapo.” I had pages of them. But with only five minutes to testify, I picked the highlights.

Later in the hearing, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) — who showed up late and left early — picked up where his colleagues left off. He said ICE was “terrorizing” illegal immigrants. He accused ICE of jailing a child with his parents instead of separating the family, apparently unaware that he was criticizing the very policy he demands.

The rest of the hearing dragged on for seven hours.

Democrats used procedural games to stall for time, forcing vote after vote on irrelevant subpoenas. Their goal was obvious: Slow the hearing down, bore the public, and turn a losing argument into a sleepy C-SPAN rerun. Not a single Democrat asked a question of any Republican witness until the very last minute.

I was barely paying attention by then.

When Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-Ariz.) said my name, I thought she was a staffer. I didn’t recognize her. I assumed she might be a delegate from one of the territories Americans forget they own.

She shuffled between reading from her Trapper Keeper and trying to deliver rhetorical questions that might eventually lead to something substantive. Then came her big moment.

She asked if I agreed with her description of a detention facility incident.

I told her flatly that I wasn’t going to take her word for it — and yes, I support detaining illegal aliens during removal proceedings. That’s the law. Her response was dramatic. She looked like someone had slammed on the brakes while she was mid-sentence. Head thrown back. Eyes wide. Total shock.

She tried to recover, flipped back to her notes, and asked if I agreed that Democrats have the authority to just walk into ICE facilities and call it “oversight.”

I reminded her I’ve written about this extensively — including right here at Blaze News — and that no, Democrats can’t just show up at a federal detention center and expect to play dress-up as immigration watchdogs. I told her I was doing my best to keep them out of jail.

Then, of course, she brought up Jeffrey Epstein.

At first, I considered thanking her for finally connecting mass illegal immigration to the topic of sex trafficking — but the exchange went in a different direction. She claimed I had reversed my position on the Epstein investigation to match the Trump administration’s narrative.

False.

Since Axios published its memo announcing the case closure, I’ve criticized that decision every single day — on air, in print, on social media, and in private. I haven’t backed off an inch. I called her a liar because she was lying. That clip went viral, and I’m glad it did.

If Ansari had taken the time to read my previous commentary — especially at Blaze News — she might’ve avoided the embarrassment. Maybe it’s time she got a subscription.

And in a selfie video shot from his car, former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) documented the progress of his ailment and posted it to social media for the world to see.

“So I just saw that Trump is like threatening the January 6 committee again. Listen, this dude knows, he knows that this is, like, the thing that embarrasses him. He won’t admit it embarrasses him, because he’s trying to, like, pretend like he didn’t do anything,” Kinzinger said.

“He’s obsessed. He’s more obsessed with, like, me and Cheney than his freaking golf score,” he continued, adding, “Hey, Trump, bring it on, dude. You weak, whiny, tiny man, who, by the way, I saw a picture of you this weekend; you’re hiking up your pants now to really just below your man boobs, and you’re sweating so much, like, looking pretty, pretty bad there.”

Pat Gray of “Pat Gray Unleashed” is shocked.

“That is incredible,” Gray tells Keith and Jeffy, noting that while Kinzinger called Trump a “tiny man,” Kinzinger himself is 5’7”, while Trump is 6’3”.

“Maybe you avoid that phraseology if you’re 5 '7”,” Keith comments, adding, “It’s like call the Secret Service, this guy's not stable.”

Steve Bannon sentenced to prison; says ‘look at the rise of MAGA’

Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon has been ordered to report to prison on July 1 due to contempt of Congress charges after defying the subpoena from the January 6 committee.

His sentence is set to last four months, which Sara Gonzales notes is suspicious.

“It’s not lost on me, shouldn’t be lost on you — it’s July 1. It’s a four-month prison sentence, ok? So, July, August, September, October, November. So, Steve Bannon will now be sidelined until November during campaign season,” she says wearily.

The judge had previously paused the sentence when it was handed down in October 2022 while Bannon appealed his conviction, but the judge has just ruled that the original reasons behind the postponement no longer apply after the Circuit Court of Appeals ruled unanimously against his position.

But Bannon could not have made it clearer that he’s not giving up and that Trump supporters have a lot to look forward to as the election nears.

“I’ve got great lawyers, and we’re going to go all the way to the Supreme Court if we have to,” Bannon said after his bail was revoked.

Bannon then addressed the Justice Department: “They’re not going to shut up Trump. They’re not going to shut up Navarro. They’re not going to shut up Bannon, and they’re certainly not going to shut up MAGA.”

“Look at the rise of MAGA. Look at the rise of Donald Trump. If the election was held today, according to Harry Enten over at CNN, President Trump would win in a landslide,” he added. “This is about one thing. This is about shutting down the MAGA movement, shutting down grassroots conservatives, shutting down president Trump.”

“Not only are we winning, we are going to prevail, and every number and every poll shows that. There’s nothing that can shut me up, and nothing that will shut me up. There’s not a prison built or jail built that will ever shut me up.”

“All victory to MAGA, we’re going to win this, we’re going to win at the Supreme Court, and more importantly we’re going to win on November 5 in an amazing landslide with the Senate, the House and also Donald J. Trump back as President of the United States,” he concluded.

Like Gonzales, Stu Burguiere is well aware that this has everything to do with the upcoming election.

“It would be great if the people in Washington trusted us to make the decision that is really our decision to make. They keep trying to take it away from us in every way possible,” Stu Burguiere says. “They want to do everything except let this jury of 330 million people, and you know, millions of those voters, make the decision ourselves.”

Harry Dunn's history of 'mental health issues' was on 'full display' on January 6

Capitol Police officer Harry Dunn – the “hero,” the “martyr” who President Biden says “acted with remarkable courage and valor to defend both our institutions and our people” during the January 6 Capitol riots … well, frankly, his account of what happened has serious issues.

Dunn has been hailed by the media as a hero for his courage in the face of violence on January 6, for “the persistent emotional trauma” he suffered that day.

“Make no mistake about it – there were a lot of officers injured that day,” says investigative journalist Steve Baker, who has access to the J6 tapes. “I have reviewed hundreds and hundreds of hours of video, and there was violence. I saw violence there that day with my own eyes.”

The only thing is, Harry Dunn wasn’t impacted by any of it, although his copious testimonies, his interviews, and his lucrative new book, "Standing My Ground: A Capitol Police Officer’s Fight for Accountability and Good Trouble After January 6th," say otherwise.

“In his memoir published in October, Dunn described how he was the target of vicious racial abuse, claiming that ‘20, 30, 40, 50 people’ crowded around him and chanted the N-word during the chaos of the afternoon,” writes Baker.

And yet, in hundreds upon hundreds of hours of tapes, there is nothing showing anything of that nature happening to or even around Dunn.

The truth is, “Dunn spent most of the day avoiding direct conflict with protesters,” Baker explains, but unfortunately, the majority of the public doesn’t know this because the tapes have yet to be released.

As a result, the public has largely bought into Dunn’s faux sob story, but what’s worse is that his testimony has landed many people, including several of the Oath Keepers, behind bars.

So what do the tapes actually show of Dunn’s experience on January 6?

That’s exactly what Steve Baker explores in his latest report: “Harry Dunn’s account of January 6 does not add up. At all.”

He also dives into Dunn’s past, which includes a long history of “anger issues” and “struggles with mental health,” which, as the tapes show, were undoubtedly on “full display” during the riots.
