Harris surrogate left stunned when he learns how many non-white voters supported Trump: 'Black, brown — everything?!'

A significant number of non-white voters supported Donald Trump for president, a fact that hip-hop radio host Charlemagne tha God appeared shocked to learn over the weekend.

During an interview on ABC News' "This Week," anchor Jonathan Karl asked Charlemagne — a stalwart Kamala Harris surrogate whose real name is Larry McKelvey — about the "demographics" of Trump's victory

What followed was a viral exchange in which McKelvey had a difficult time believing that a large number of non-white voters helped send Trump back to the White House.

"Trump got one out of every three voters of color," Karl told McKelvey.

"No," the radio host responded.

"Yeah — 33%," Karl affirmed.

"Really?!" McKelvey asked again.

"Yeah," Karl responded.

"When you say color, you mean like black, brown — everything?!" McKelvey asked, to which Karl responded by nodding his head in affirmation.

To his credit and despite his shock, McKelvey appeared to understand exactly why those non-white voters supported Trump and hand-delivered Harris a humiliating loss, citing identity politics, the economy, and immigration.

"I think some of this is a backlash to race and gender and identity politics. But man, most people, they just care about keeping food on they table and keeping a roof over their head. And I think sometimes people forget about that," he said.

In another moment of liberal self-awareness, McKelvey added that he believes the Democratic Party "forgot" about the working class — but Trump did not.

Later in the interview, Karl asked McKelvey why he thinks Trump performed well in liberal strongholds like Chicago and New York City.

"Because of dinner-table issues. Yo, it's literally that simple. Everyday people wake up, and all they want to do is have more money in their pocket, and they want to feel safe. I don't care if you're black, white, gay, straight, whatever religion you are, those are the two things that you're thinking about every day," McKelvey responded. "How can I keep some money in my pocket, and how can I stay safe?"

Not only that, but McKelvey slammed Democrats for largely ignoring the border crisis.

"Trump is saying build the wall. And when [Republicans] were telling you that it was a problem, [Democrats] would say, 'No, it's not a problem. Let's create sanctuary cities and let's bring the people into our cities,'" he observed. "And so when they started putting those illegal immigrants on the buses and on the planes and sending them to those sanctuary cities, what did they say then? 'No, don't come.'"

"So it looked like the Republicans were right and Democrats were wrong," McKelvey admitted.

UNCANNY: Biden hints he’d drop out if 'some medical condition emerged' just hours before he’s diagnosed with COVID-19

While Democrats and conservatives alike have been calling for Biden to drop out of the presidential race due to concerns over his cognitive decline, Biden and his administration have had their heels dug in, insisting that he’s perfectly capable of the job.

However, after Biden’s interview with NBC News’ Lester Holt, the tone seems to have magically shifted.

Dave Rubin plays a clip of Biden perhaps hinting that he may in fact drop out.

“If I had some medical condition that emerged – if doctors came to me and said you got this problem, that problem,” he told Holt, insinuating that he would step aside if it were deemed medically necessary.

Well, doctors indeed came to him with a problem shortly following the interview. Just mere hours later, as Biden prepared to deliver a speech at a Unidos event in Las Vegas, he suddenly came down with COVID-19.

It’s “perfectly timed,” if you ask Dave.

Considering everything that’s working against Biden – Trump’s “incredible amount of momentum” following the first debate and the “assassination attempt” and the extraordinary amount of unity occurring at the RNC currently – it’s no wonder “Democrats are in utter disarray,” says Dave.

“The powers that be at the DNC are trying to figure out what to do here. They can't really force him out; there won't be enough votes on the 25th Amendment side; they have such a freaking thin bench between Kamala and [Pete Buttigieg]. ... There's just nobody left, and Obama is basically realizing he's not going to get his fourth term, so they need to force him out now to just do something to change the narrative,” he explains.

To hear more of how Democrats are moving toward ousting Biden, watch the video above.

Marco Rubio leaves ABC News anchor stammering when he lays out the truth about Biden's record: 'But — but — but you're — but —'

ABC News anchor Jonathan Karl got more than he bargained for on Sunday when he asked Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) about potentially being selected as Donald Trump's running mate.

Last Thursday, Rubio said it would be an "honor" to serve as Trump's vice president, a comment that Karl could not understand.

"Really?" he asked Rubio.

Rubio explained that he believes "anyone who is offered the opportunity to serve this country as vice president should be honored by the opportunity to do it." For anyone who loves his country, that's a standard and reasonable answer. And yet, Karl was bewildered that Rubio would take the job — because of Jan. 6, of course.

"The reason I asked — I mean, look what happened to the last guy," Karl said. "I mean, a mob stormed the Capitol, literally calling to hang Mike Pence."

Rubio, however, was not in the mood for the media's petty political games and reminded Karl that America under President Joe Biden is much different from America under Trump.

"When Donald Trump was president of the United States, this country was safer. It was more prosperous," he said. "I think the country and the world was at a better place when he was president, and I would love to see him return to the White House compared to the guy who's there now, Joe Biden, who’s been a disaster economically.

"Look at the world. Every single day we wake up to a new crisis, to a new conflict," he continued. "Everything has gone on fire since the time Joe Biden took over. Afghanistan's gone down. Ukraine has been invaded. Now, the Philippines and the Chinese are on the verge of something bad happening every single day. Not to mention the threats to Taiwan. And we have this blowup in Haiti going on in our very own hemisphere. We wake up every single day, terrorist attacks, 9 million people across the border. That’s what matters to me."

The strong defense of Trump left Karl stammering and defensive.

"But — but — but you're — but — I mean — I mean you're not suggesting that’s all happening because of Biden and everything?" the ABC News anchor followed up.

"Absolutely I am," Rubio confirmed.

"But — well, let me —" Karl stammered again.

"Absolutely I'm suggesting it’s happening because of Biden. He's president, and his weakness and his —" Rubio confirmed.

"Just because of Biden that — that Russia invaded Ukraine?" Karl followed up.

"Absolutely," Rubio said once more. "I mean Putin is sitting there saying, 'These guys can't even stand up to the Taliban and they have to fly people hanging off the wings of these airplanes. Now is the time to go.'"

For some reason, Karl felt the need to continue bashing Trump. He claimed the former president wants a deal in the Ukraine war that "effectively gives Putin what he wants in Ukraine." But Rubio quickly called out that falsehood.

"That's not true," Rubio said. "What he has said is he wants the conflict to end, which is striking to me that people — why wouldn't people want peace?"

Karl, however, did not answer that question. Instead, he shifted the interview to an entirely different topic.

ABC News anchor tanks Gov. Newsom's ridiculous claim about Biden's presidency with indisputable fact: 'Why is that?'

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) is hitting the campaign trail for President Joe Biden. But he hit a speed bump on Sunday when ABC News anchor Jonathan Karl challenged Newsom's assertion that Biden is the best modern president.

Speaking on ABC's "This Week," Newsom told Karl he agrees with Michelle Obama's fears about the upcoming election. To help Biden win, Newsom explained that he is hitting the campaign trail to inform voters of the "extraordinary successes" of the Biden administration. Emphasizing those alleged accomplishments, he said, will ensure Donald Trump doesn't win in November.

"It's not even a complicated campaign. We have the receipts. We have the best three-year record of any modern American presidency. Period. Full stop," Newsom asserted.

But Karl quickly found the problem with Newsom's narrative.

"Except for the big thing: approval. Biden's approval is historically low," Karl noted. "Why is that?"

Newsom, however, failed to form a coherent response and conveniently claimed that "everybody's approval" in the world is going down.

"Everybody ... everybody ... we're all ... everybody's approval — across the spectrum. You find exceptions to that. Look, it's been hard, globally, the last six, seven years," he said.

Trump is ‘making democracy a partisan issue’: Gov. Gavin Newsom www.youtube.com

As Karl implied, the data shows that what Newsom is selling simply isn't true.

In fact, while Newsom claims Biden is the best president in modern American history, a recent Gallup analysis shows that that Biden is one of the worst modern American presidents, boasting the worst job approval rating since Jimmy Carter, a one-term president.

Biden's average job-approval rating from Jan. 20, 2023, to Jan. 19, 2024, according to Gallup, was 39.8%. That's a problem for Biden because every president since Dwight Eisenhower who won re-election had a fourth-year approval rating average of at least 50%; Barack Obama was the only exception, when his fourth-year average approval rating topped out at 48.1%.

That low approval rating, Gallup explained, means Biden has a "bigger hill to climb" if he wants to win re-election.

Nikki Haley slaps ABC News host with blunt reality check over 'obsession' with Trump: 'You guys are exhausting!'

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley called out ABC News and the entire legacy media on Sunday for their "obsession" with Donald Trump.

Haley appeared on ABC News' "This Week," presumably to discuss her campaign, which is gaining momentum. But ABC News host Jonathan Karl only seemed interested in asking her about Trump — not her campaign, her views, or the solutions she wants to offer the American people.

In fact, eight of the first 10 questions he asked focused on Trump in some way — and Haley finally had enough.

"You guys are exhausting! You're exhausting in your obsession with him," Haley said.

Haley, the former governor of South Carolina, went on to explain why that "obsession" demonstrates just how out of touch the legacy media are with the American people.

"The thing is the normal people aren't obsessed with Trump like you guys are. The normal people care about the fact that they can't afford things. They feel like their freedoms are being taken away. They think government is too big," she said.

"I know y'all want to talk about every single word he says and every single tweet he does. That's exactly why we need a new generational leader, because people don't want to hear about every word a person says or every tweet. They want to know how you fought for them that day, and they want to know how their life is going to be different," she pointed out. "And life will be a whole lot different if the media would stop this obsession with Trump."

Haley is right. The media are obsessed with Trump — and for good reason, or so they think.

Just as they did in 2016, the media are boosting Trump's press visibility and covering his every word because they want him to be the 2024 Republican nominee. They want him to be the nominee again because they believe he will lose the general election. And by covering Trump more, the media cover other Republicans less, candidates whom they believe stand a better chance of beating Biden.

For his part, Karl denied the media have an "obsession" with Trump. Still, he stopped asking Haley about the former president after she called him out.

Rep. Nancy Mace schools ABC anchor for doing Biden's bidding on impeachment inquiry: 'The facts are everywhere'

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) shut down ABC News anchor Jonathan Karl on Sunday for claiming there is "no evidence" to support an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

On ABC News' "This Week," Karl asked Mace about criticism from Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.), who opposes the impeachment inquiry. But Mace quickly dismissed her colleague's concerns because, in her view, "the facts are everywhere."

"There are text messages, there are emails, there are witnesses, there are whistleblowers, there are meetings, there are phone calls, there are dinners. And you can’t say, 'Hey, there’s a little bit of smoke, we're not going to follow the fire,'" Mace said.

"And the inquiry ... gives us expanded subpoena powers. I want the bank records of Joe Biden. All of that should be on the table to prove out the allegations in the [suspicious activity] reports. We're talking about a significant sum of money. We are talking about bribery. And in the Constitution — Article II, Section 4 — that is the basis for impeachment," she explained.

In response, Karl claimed there is "no evidence" to support the allegations. But Mace quickly corrected him.

"There are witnesses. The [FBI's FD-]1023 form," Mace protested. "There is evidence. You can't say that there's no evidence when there is evidence."

"There's no evidence connected to Biden," Karl asserted again.

The fact that Karl insisted there is "no evidence" against Biden despite not refuting anything she actually said left Mace astonished. She then reminded the journalism professional how journalists used to hold politicians accountable — at least when there was a Republican in the White House.

"It was the fourth estate. It was the media and journalists when Nixon was going down that helped do that investigation, helped bring down the president when he broke the law," Mace said. "[Now], you guys want to deny that there's evidence. It's everywhere."

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has repeatedly explained the impeachment inquiry gives lawmakers expanded powers to answer questions and probe whether Biden acted corruptly to enrich his family. The inquiry may not result in impeachment proceedings, but it at least allows lawmakers to follow the "smoke" to which Mace referred.

Karl's assertion that there is "no evidence" against Biden came after the White House distributed talking points to the media, directing them to downplay the evidence that has been uncovered so far.
