VIDEO: Federal agents clash with mob of Antifa-fueled, anti-ICE protesters in Portland

A large protest against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Portland has been heating up Saturday, and the escalation in resistance is aimed at pushing back against the possibility of President Donald Trump sending National Guard troops there to quell left-wing violence and unrest that's been ongoing on at the city's ICE facility.

A social media post claims Trump's stated aim to protect the facility and law enforcement is "nothing more than fear mongering and an intimidation tactic meant to stop Portland from resisting ICE and all of Trump’s repressive policies. Portland will not stand down, and we will not be quiet. We must follow in the footsteps of Chicago and firmly reject federal troops, and stop them from coming here in the first place."

'I hope your children f**king hate you!'

Blaze Media's National Correspondent Julio Rosas has been on the ground Saturday — right in the middle of the protest outside the Portland's besieged ICE facility — and he recorded exclusive video.

Rosas reported that federal agents deployed tear gas to repel the anti-ICE crowd blocking the ICE facility’s driveway. Check out his clip below:

Rosas added that agents also hit the Antifa mob with "pepper balls" and the leftists threw "tear gas canisters back" at the agents — who finally had enough and "rushed into the crowd to make arrests."

Some members of the potty-mouthed militant crowd could be heard frequently dropping F-bombs upon the agents.

As the agents advanced and cleared away many anti-ICE protesters, one individual — apparently on a bullhorn and attempting to frustrate law enforcement — could be heard sarcastically hollering, "Okay, congratulations! You've conquered an intersection! Good for you!"

In another one of Rosas' videos, he reported that agents at the ICE facility made an arrest after forcing the Antifa-fueled crowd blocking a driveway to retreat; indeed numerous agents are seen piling on top of the arrested militant:

In another one of Rosas' videos, he reported that arrests continued as the crowd kept trying to heckle and badger a line of agents.

Content warning: Language:

One of the leftists — apparently a female with an unquestionably powerful voice — can be heard screaming over and over for the arresting agents to "get off of her!"

A screaming leftist also added to the agents that "I hope your children f**king hate you!" Another asked them, "You go home to your wife, and you brag about this s**t?"

On Thursday night, journalist Nick Sortor was on the ground in Portland documenting Antifa militants harassing federal agents at the ICE facility — and Sotor said the far-left crowd attacked him, and Portland police even arrested him.

In response, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Friday that the "Antifa-affiliated" militants in Portland as well in Chicago would feel the presence of "the Department of War" in the "next 24 hours." Noem noted there would be "backup from our military ... so what we saw happen to that journalist will not happen again."

Indeed, there is reportedly "chaos" in Chicago on Saturday as well. DHS said Saturday morning that "Border Patrol agents were conducting a routine patrol, near the intersection of 39th Place and S. Kedzie Avenue, when they were attacked and rammed by vehicles and boxed in by 10 cars. The officers exited their trapped vehicle, when a suspect tried to run them over, forcing the officers to fire defensively. This is an evolving situation. FBI is on the scene."

Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon also announced that a full investigation into the Sortor's arrest is underway.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said at a media briefing Friday that "President Trump will end the radical left's reign of terror in Portland once and for all. The president has directed Secretary [of War Pete] Hegseth to provide all necessary troops to protect war-ravaged Portland and any ICE facilities under siege from attack by Antifa and other left-wing domestic terrorists."

'Shoot the f**kers!' Anti-ICE agitators caught on video apparently calling for violence in wake of deadly Dallas shooting

Anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement sentiment has been on the rise in recent months as agitators continue to harass and attack ICE agents and facilities. In the wake of the deadly ICE facility shooting in Dallas on Wednesday, agitators have taken their rhetoric to the next level, with some now appearing to call for violence against ICE agents.

On Friday, Blaze News captured footage of a crowd of anti-ICE protesters attempting to block a federal vehicle from entering an ICE facility in Broadview, Illinois. The initial standoff around the vehicle then escalates with multiple participants openly calling for violence against law enforcement.

'Arrest ICE!'

In a video captured by Rosas, the crowd of agitators can be heard shouting, "Arrest ICE!" One individual then yells, "Shoot ICE!" Another individual then appears to echo that violent statement. The first agitator can be heard escalating even further: "Shoot the f**kers! Shoot the f**ker!"

— (@)

In another video, the masked crowd can be seen swarming and hitting the federal vehicle while repeating chanted slogans after a leader in the crowd, according to video footage captured by Blaze News' Julio Rosas.

RELATED: 'Pure attack on ICE': Acting ICE director tells Glenn Beck the motive for deadly attack is clear

— (@)

"Anti-ICE protesters are trying their best to interfere with federal operations in Illinois. The crowd has been blocking a road agents use to bring in their vehicles," Blaze News national correspondent Julio Rosas said.

"One federal agent was swarmed as he entered, with the mob hitting his vehicle and getting in front. Other agents have pepper balls and tear gas to break up the crowd, but so far I have not seen any arrests."

— (@)

Yet another video shows the crowd dispersing after federal agents shoot pepper balls from the fence as the vehicle nears the entrance of the ICE facility. The crowd can be heard shouting and coughing as a plume of pepper spray swirls around the vehicle. The crowd disperses as the vehicle reaches the entrance.

ICE agents have ramped up the protective measures of their facilities in response to the rising frequency of protesters and violence targeting the agency.

"The fence installed this week on the other side of a different road has kept the crowd away from the ICE facility itself, but that has not deterred people from showing up," Rosas said.

Rosas confirmed that Evanston Mayor Daniel Biss was present at the scene but was not among the crowd surrounding the federal vehicle. He also added that Democrat 9th District Illinois congressional candidate Kat Abughazaleh was at the scene.

Agents were forced to move Abughazaleh last week after she refused to get out of an ICE facility's driveway.

Following this standoff between ICE agents and the anti-ICE protesters, Rosas reported he saw two arrests made at the scene.

Blaze Media's Julio Rosas reports from Argentina as Noem meets with leaders

Blaze Media national correspondent Julio Rosas is embedded with the Department of Homeland Security on Kristi Noem's visit to South America. Noem had a packed day of official business in Argentina on Monday, followed by a cultural engagement event featuring horseback riding.

Secretary Noem started a busy day in Argentina with a meeting with the U.S. charge d'affaires, Heidi Gomez Rapalo, at the Bosch Palace.

'Every country that participates in the Visa Waiver Program has to meet certain qualifications in order to participate. In the past, Argentina has had the advantage of the program, and they're looking to get back on track and re-enrolled.'

Noem then visited Casa Rosada, the official place of business of the president, to sign official agreements with Minister of National Security Patricia Bullrich concerning Argentina's re-entry into the Visa Waiver Program as well as measures to ensure proper repatriation in the country.

— (@)

"Noem and Minister Bullrich also signed agreements to streamline repatriations" and to ensure that "fugitives are not released from custody once they are repatriated," Rosas said.

Noem's motorcade then traveled to the Campo de Mayo military base for a cultural engagement event featuring horseback riding and a traditional Argentinian asado, a local style of barbeque. Before dinner was served, a traditional gaucho dance was performed for Noem and her entourage.

When Rosas asked at the military base what safeguards will be put in place to ensure that there is no abuse with the waiver program, Noem, on horseback, responded: "Every country that participates in the Visa Waiver Program has to meet certain qualifications in order to participate. In the past, Argentina has had the advantage of the program, and they're looking to get back on track and re-enrolled. So we're excited about that."

Argentina was removed from the Visa Waiver Program in 2002. "It will take an estimated two to three years for Argentina to be in full compliance with the VWP," Rosas explained.

Noting that she discussed this issue extensively with President Javier Milei and other high-ranking Argentinian officials, Noem continued, "It's important for our economies but also for the security of both countries that we know who's traveling [to the United States]. We can streamline the process to make it easier for folks going back and forth, whether they're tourists or doing business."

After concluding her business in Argentina, Noem traveled to Chile to sign more agreements with leaders in Latin America.

Desperate Democrats disrupt hearing while Blaze Media writers expose NGOs' role in immigration nightmare

A tense Wednesday congressional hearing exposed how nongovernmental organizations contributed to the Biden administration's immigration crisis, profiting off of American taxpayers and fueling an invasion that led to trafficking and exploitation.

The Committee on Homeland Security's hearing, "An Inside Job: How NGOs Facilitated the Biden Border Crisis," was a part of "a years-long investigation by the committee into whether NGOs used taxpayer dollars to facilitate illegal activity during the Biden-Harris administration."

'What was allowed to happen to these children is truly one of the largest humanitarian crises of our lifetime.'

Blaze Media national correspondent Julio Rosas, Oversight Project president and Blaze News contributor Mike Howell, and GUARD Against Trafficking president and co-founder Ali Hopper provided their testimony to lawmakers, highlighting the horrors of child trafficking and detailing how NGOs' well-funded services incentivized widespread illegal immigration.

— (@)

Tension escalated almost immediately during the hearing, as Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) interrupted Howell's testimony, calling for a recorded vote to deem the witness' statements irrelevant to the hearing's topic.

While the Republican majority voted to allow Howell to proceed, the hearing was frequently interrupted and slowed down by the Democratic minority initiating unscheduled procedural votes. They subsequently accused the chairman of breaking the rules when these votes prompted him to repeatedly suspend the hearing temporarily to give lawmakers time to return to the chamber to cast their votes.

Rosas stated during his opening testimony,"Ultimately, the goal of these NGOs was to get people to their desired destination within the United States and help them settle in, even though their legal status was far from being secured."

"By having this guaranteed help once they reached U.S. soil, illegal aliens had greater incentive to put their lives in danger by traversing through the Darien Gap and cartel-controlled territory in Mexico," he continued. "One shelter in El Paso told me in 2023 around 80% of the women who came to them had been raped, many times in front of their children. This highlights that despite the NGOs having the stated goal of helping these people, their 'help' ends up harming the people who used their services. Yes, they made it to the U.S., but at what cost?"

Several Democratic lawmakers, including Rep. Lou Correa (D-Calif.), took issue with Rosas mentioning a well-known Catholic organization as one of the many NGOs that used taxpayer funds to facilitate illegal immigration.

Correa told Rosas to "be careful" with his testimony, stating, "I'm a Catholic. I'm kind of disappointed in that."

"Why?" Rosas asked.

Correa replied that the group does "good work."

Howell highlighted how the same NGOs that aided the previous administration's border crisis are now attempting to hinder President Donald Trump's deportation efforts.

Howell said in a statement to Blaze News before the hearing, "The Biden administration funneled billions of dollars through nonprofits and contractors for the sole purpose of facilitating the invasion into the United States. Now many of those same actors are on the forefront of the resistance to the lawful consequence of illegal immigration: deportation."

"As the Democratic Party continues to promote violence and illegal resistance to lawful enforcement, it is critically important that consequences are imposed," Howell said. "Congress has a role in conducting oversight of the money that was spent on their behalf for these purposes. These organizations should continue to be subject to intense scrutiny for their indispensable role in one of the darkest chapters in American history."

Hopper informed Blaze News that she intended to bring attention to "the heartbreaking details of the crisis and exploitation that occurred to unaccompanied alien children (UACs) under the disastrous policies of the Biden-Harris administration."

"Through our direct interviews with unaccompanied alien children (UACs), incarcerated human traffickers, cartel members, and whistleblowers, I'm going to provide specific details of the horrors these children experienced throughout the smuggling and trafficking process," Hopper said. "I will highlight the role NGOs played — how they became the middleman in a humanitarian pipeline of children that was exploited by cartels and obscured by federal contracts."

"What was allowed to happen to these children is truly one of the largest humanitarian crises of our lifetime," Hopper stated.

WATCH: Blaze Media to testify before Congress about NGOs' suspected role in child exploitation and ICE evasion

House lawmakers are advancing their investigation into how non-governmental organizations contributed to the immigration crisis under the Biden administration.

The Committee on Homeland Security, chaired by Rep. Mark Green (R-Tenn.), announced last week that it is holding a hearing, "An Inside Job: How NGOs Facilitated the Biden Border Crisis," as part of "a years-long investigation by the Committee into whether NGOs used taxpayer dollars to facilitate illegal activity during the Biden-Harris administration."

A third organization received over $3 billion from the Biden administration to provide immigrant services.

Blaze Media national correspondent Julio Rosas, Oversight Project president and Blaze News contributor Mike Howell, and GUARD Against Trafficking president and co-founder Ali Hopper will provide their congressional testimony during Wednesday's hearing.

Last month, Reps. Green and Josh Brecheen (R-Okla.), the chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations, and Accountability, sent inquiry letters to over 200 NGOs requesting additional information.

The committee expressed concerns about some of the NGOs' activities, noting that one was linked to "the far-left, anti-law enforcement riots in Los Angeles" and another organization, funded by taxpayer dollars and potentially also backed by the Chinese Communist Party, allegedly advised illegal aliens on how to evade ICE. A third organization received over $3 billion from the Biden administration to provide immigrant services, including for the transportation and housing of unaccompanied alien children, the committee noted.

The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time. It can be viewed live on the committee's YouTube.

Protestor arrested, charged for alleged violent outburst outside Charlie Kirk event

Yet another apparently unhinged protestor allegedly attacked conservatives, video taken by Blaze Media national correspondent Julio Rosas shows. According to police, this time he is actually facing consequences.

Video taken by Rosas seems to show the impassioned protestor lunging at an attendee outside of the Student Action Summit hosted by Chalie Kirk's organization Turning Point USA in Tampa, Florida. After repeatedly yelling at the crowd and shoving one of the attendees, a police officer tackled him to the ground and detained him, according to the video.

'Mr. Smith is finding out Florida is not his home state of New York.'

Rosas later reported that the alleged attacker, named Trevor Smith, was being charged with battery, resisting arrest, and driving under the influence. As of Sunday, he was still in jail in Hillsborough Country.

The video shows that Smith initially approached attendees, apparently taunting them and trying to get them to engage. When another attendee walked by he allegedly shoved him back several times before the police officer hopped the fence and pursued Smith.

Smith quickly retreated back to his car, which he left running in the street, before he tripped over the curb and fell to the ground. The police officer, who witnessed the whole altercation, quickly subdued and arrested Smith.

"Mr. Smith is finding out Florida is not his home state of New York," Rosas told Blaze News. "You will be held accountable if you’re driving under the influence, causing traffic disruptions, and attacking people in broad daylight in front of the police. I thank the Tampa Police Department for handling this situation swiftly."

LA Dodgers FREAK OUT over fake ICE raid

Last week, the Los Angeles Dodgers faced an opponent that didn’t come bearing bats. According to the team’s official X account, it was Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

The Dodgers claimed the ICE agents were attempting to access Dodger Stadium but were denied entry. However, there’s one major problem with the story — ICE denies that there were any agents there.

“What happened was, it was Customs and Border Protection, specifically Border Patrol, and of course people were saying, ‘Well, how could you tell?’” Blaze Media national correspondent Julio Rosas tells BlazeTV host Jill Savage and Blaze News editor in chief Matthew Peterson on “Blaze News I The Mandate.”

Rosas explains that in the photos and videos of Border Patrol’s arrival at the stadium, they’re clearly wearing vests that say “Border Patrol” and “Police” on them.

“Los Angeles in particular, but the country as a whole,” he says, “they are just hypersensitive and hypervigilant.”

Recently, there was an issue with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, where in order to calm people down, they had to release a statement explaining that their unmarked units were not ICE.

“The problem is that this has been stoked for a very long time, and Democrats and the media have been very irresponsible in their reporting on operations. So when there’s any hint of any sort of a perceived—real or not—immigration enforcement, people right now are primed to just overreact,” Rosas says.

“It just shows how crazy people have become over this when the whole reason why we’re in this mess in the first place, primarily, is that we had an open border for four years, and the administration is trying to get a handle on this very massive problem,” he adds.

Fiery footage shows radicals in LA savagely attack law enforcement on second night of violent riots

California radicals desperate to prevent the Trump administration from deporting illegal aliens have mounted a violent, days-long campaign against both federal and local law enforcement officers.

While those identified as "troublemakers and insurrectionists" by President Donald Trump have employed similar tactics as the 2020 Black Lives Matter rioters — pelting police with bricks and incendiary devices and torching cars while masking their faces — this time around, they have largely been fighting under foreign flags.

Blaze Media national correspondent Julio Rosas was on the ground Sunday night in Los Angeles, both documenting the riots as they unfolded and capturing footage of some of the brigands' more brazen attacks on life and property.

It appears — contrary to Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom's suggestion that "local law enforcement didn't need help" — that the Los Angeles Police Department could use all the help that the federal government can muster.

RELATED: Stunning videos from inside CBP vehicles capture the moment vicious rioters attacked in Los Angeles

Contrary to Newsom's suggestion, LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell admitted in the wake of the first night of rioting that the violence was "getting increasingly worse" and that police "are overwhelmed as far as the number of people out there engaged in this type of activity."

"There's no limit to what they're doing to our officers," added McDonnell, who initially indicated he didn't want to cooperate with the federal government.

Unlike Democratic leaders in the state, Trump was evidently not willing to leave the fate of Los Angeles and its guardians to chance.

On Sunday, Trump said in a statement, "A once great American City, Los Angeles, has been invaded and occupied by Illegal Aliens and Criminals. Now violent, insurrectionist mobs are swarming and attacking our Federal Agents to try and stop our deportation operations — But these lawless riots only strengthen our resolve."

Around 300 of the 2,000 National Guard troops he ordered to deal with the riots reportedly hit the streets of Los Angeles early Sunday.

Thousands of anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement rioters evidently keen for a fight with federal forces quickly flooded the streets and took over the 101 freeway in downtown Los Angeles, where California Highway Patrol officers were apparently surrounded on at least one occasion while radicals set their vehicles ablaze.

On the highway and across the city, radicals continued to attack law enforcement.

Rosas captured footage showing LAPD officers having to swerve to avoid projectiles thrown by rioters.

Officers lucky enough to dodge flying bricks and incendiary devices would still have to dodge mobile infernos.

In one video, rioters can be seen rolling a dumpster fire into the street — an obstacle that would force incoming first responders closer to the masked thugs on the near side.

— (@)

Fires raged well within view of Los Angeles City Hall.

Rather than focus her ire on the agents of destruction and violence, Mayor Karen Bass (D) — like Newsom — blamed Trump, suggesting the National Guard, not the rioters, were inspiring a sense of fear in the city.

— (@)

Not all fire-starting attempts were successful, however. Rosas caught a moment in which a police officer's well-placed nonlethal shot dissuaded a would-be arsonist from setting a fire in the middle of the street.

— (@)

After another night of flame and violence, Newsom said he planned to sue the Trump administration over the use of the National Guard.

Five Years After The Fires, The Myth Of George Floyd Remains

The convict with the long rap sheet became a patron saint for a leftist movement preaching chaos in an election-year power grab.

VIDEO: Alejandro Mayorkas confronted by Blaze Media reporter on Biden's failed open-borders policies

Former Biden administration DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was confronted by Blaze Media national correspondent Julio Rosas about his failures to shut down illegal immigration.

Rosas battered Mayorkas with numerous questions about his time as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, but Mayorkas remained silent and stony-faced as he tried to walk away.

'Do you have any regret facilitating open borders, sir?'

Mayorkas was initially polite but would not answer any questions after greeting Rosas.

"I just wanted to ask you how it feels to see that the United States has a secure border now that President [Donald] Trump is in office, as opposed to when you were secretary of homeland security?" asked Rosas.

Mayorkas continued on his way through Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., and ignored the questions.

"Do you have any regret facilitating open borders, sir?" Rosas continued.

"It was a big issue, sir. That's one of the reasons why President Trump won re-election. You don't have anything to say about it?"

Congressional Republicans had proposed to have Mayorkas impeached over the border enforcement failures during the Biden administration.

"Do you have regret about losing track of all of those thousands of migrant children?" Rosas asked.

"How does it feel that because of the Biden-Harris administration's policies, mass deportation has actually gained majority support?" he continued. "Sir, Tren de Aragua didn't have a foothold in the United States before you guys came into office. It's a pretty big issue, right?"

Rosas asked one final question that Mayorkas refused.

"You're fine with how you guys handled the border?"

Here's the video of the entire interaction:

🚨: I ran into former DHS Sec. Mayorkas at the airport.

I asked him how he feels now that the U.S. has a secure border under President Trump. I also asked him if he regrets allowing Tren de Aragua into our country.
