VIDEO: BLM protesters in Oakland channel Iran, shout 'Death to America!'

Several hundred Black Lives Matter protesters, many wearing black bloc, marched through the streets of Oakland, California, last Wednesday, shouting a chant usually only heard in Iran: "Death to America!"

Video of the protesters shouting the anti-American slogan posted to Twitter on Sunday by journalist Andy Ngô quickly went viral on the platform, garnering over 2 million views.

"On Wednesday night, around 700 black bloc militants and their supporters rampaged through Oakland, Cal. They chanted 'death to America' while starting fires and smashing cars and buildings," Ngô wrote in the post.

According to the Oakland Police Department, the protesters had indeed wreaked havoc on the city by setting fires, smashing windows, and vandalizing several businesses.

In a tweet the following day, the department said, "600-700 people took part in violent & destructive protests Wed. night. numerous fires set, dozens of windows broken, multiple businesses vandalized. Protesters threw objects at officers, thankfully no officers were injured. Several people arrested."

On Monday, the department posted an update, sharing with the public that 24 arrests had been made as a result of the protests, with the majority of the arrested individuals being from out of town.

The department noted that the protesters were "violent, destructive, [and] displayed hostility towards our community members and police officers."

In Kenosha, Wisconsin, last week, a young woman shouted "Death to America" as she burned an American flag outside the county courthouse, but the protesters in Oakland kicked things up a notch by chanting the phrase en masse.

Several people replied to Ngô's tweet suggesting that the protesters should relocate to a different country, perhaps one run by a totalitarian regime, to see what real oppression looks like.

The "Death to America" chant has been used in Iran for decades since the 1979 Iranian Revolution in order to foment an anti-American sentiment in the country.

Its use by Black Lives Matter protesters is a sign that such a sentiment is also growing among leftists in America, who likely take their cues from progressive politicians who desire the toppling of American institutions.

The fact that the majority of those arrested in Oakland were not residents of the city suggests that recent violence in some American cities is not entirely the result of local unrest. It is more likely that rioters and agitators are taking advantage of bubbling unrest to accomplish their own goals.

It was recently reported that 102 of the 175 arrestees in the Kenosha riots were from out of town.

Aerial footage shows massive scale of destruction in Kenosha as Trump prepares to visit the city

Newly released aerial footage of Kenosha, Wisconsin, shows a city in ruins ahead of President Donald Trump's scheduled visit there Tuesday afternoon.

The footage, published by the Daily Mail on Tuesday, shows the aftermath of the violent riots that took place in Kenosha in the days following the police shooting of 29-year-old black man Jacob Blake.

Starting on August 23, angry protesters took to the streets, vandalizing property and setting fires throughout the city's uptown neighborhoods.

Multiple buildings and businesses were utterly destroyed by the fires, including a furniture store, a youth correctional facility, and an entire car lot.

The city is still assessing the damages, but Kenosha Mayor John Antaramian announced on Sunday that he has requested $30 million in state funding to help the city "rebuild and heal."

Trump — despite urging from Wisconsin Democratic Gov. Tony Evers and Democratic Mayor Antaramian not to do so — will be visiting the city Tuesday to deliver a "law and order" message to the community and to the country.

The wreckage, which will serve as his backdrop, will undoubtedly lend credence to the claim that law enforcement and societal order, not rioting, is needed if the American way of life is to be preserved.

On Monday, the president tweeted that if it were not for his insistence on sending the National Guard to the riot-stricken city, "there would be no Kenosha right now."

According to the city's police, a majority of the individuals arrested during the riots — 102 of the 175 to be exact — were from out of town, a statistic that further illustrates that many are simply taking advantage of racial tension in the country to carry out lawless deeds.

Kenosha is just the latest flash point of the violent unrest bubbling over in largely Democrat-run cities around the country, such as Portland, Chicago, and New York City.

Kenosha police: Of 175 people arrested since start of rioting, 102 live elsewhere — in 44 other cities

Kenosha police have made 175 arrests since rioting began over a week ago on the heels of the police-involved shooting of a black man, Jacob Blake, WITI-TV reported, citing a Sunday news release.

And believe it or not, the vast majority of arrestees are from out of town.

What are the details?

Police said that 102 of those arrested listed addresses outside Kenosha — from 44 other cities, the release said.

Guess Kenosha's become the summertime destination of choice for radical leftists far and wide.

One incident from Wednesday may illustrate the numbers a bit, as police got a tip about "several suspicious vehicles with out-of-state plates meeting in a remote lot late near State Highway 50 and Green Bay Road."

So officers checked it out, and sure enough they said they found a black school bus, a bread truck, and a tan minivan with out-of-state plates — and commenced surveillance with United States Marshals. Authorities then followed the trio of vehicles to a gas station where officers observed occupants exit the bus and the bread truck and attempt to fill multiple fuel cans.

Suspecting the individuals were preparing for criminal activity related to civil unrest in the city, police said officers exited their vehicles, identified themselves, and detained the occupants of the bus and the bread truck. The driver of the minivan tried to pull away, police said, but the vehicle was stopped and officers forced their way inside and arrested the occupants.

Police said the vehicles contained helmets, gas masks, protective vests, illegal fireworks, and suspected controlled substances.

The nine individuals were arrested for disorderly conduct and are pending charging decisions by the Kenosha County district attorney, police added.

Anything else?

Of the 175 arrested over the week, 34 were cuffed for curfew violations and additional charges ranging from carrying concealed weapons to burglary and possession of controlled substances, WITI said.

More than 20 firearms were seized as well, the station said.

The riots, fires, and destruction got so bad that Wisconsin's governor called out the National Guard to help. Some of the lowlights have included:

On Tuesday night, leftist rioters squared off with gun-toting men who said they were in the city to protect property. One of the armed individuals, 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, allegedly shot dead two people and seriously wounded a third. Rittenhouse's lawyers said he acted in self-defense.

Police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, said they received a citizen tip early Wednesday evening about "several suspicious vehicles with out-of-state plates meeting in a remote lot late near State Highway 50 and Green Bay Road."

So officers checked it out, and sure enough they said they found a black school bus, a bread truck, and a tan minivan with out-of-state plates and commenced surveillance with United States Marshals.

What happened next?

With that, authorities followed the trio of vehicles to a gas station near Washington Road and 30th Avenue, where officers observed occupants exit the bus and the bread truck and attempt to fill multiple fuel cans.

Suspecting the individuals were preparing for criminal activity related to civil unrest in the city, police said officers — who were wearing appropriate identification — exited their vehicles, identified themselves, and detained the occupants of the bus and the bread truck.

The driver of the minivan tried to pull away, police said, but the vehicle was stopped and officers forced their way inside and arrested the occupants.

Anything else?

Wednesday marked the fourth night of protests and rioting in Kenosha following Sunday's police-involved shooting of a black man, Jacob Blake, who later was reported to be paralyzed from the waist down.

Criminal complaint outlining homicide charges against Kyle Rittenhouse appears to read like he acted in self-defense

The criminal complaint against 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse alleging he fatally shot two people and wounded a third on the heels of rioting in Kenosha, Wisconsin, earlier this week appears to read as though he acted in self-defense.

What are the details?

Rittenhouse was charged with one count of first-degree reckless homicide for allegedly shooting dead Joseph Rosenbaum, which carries a 60-year maximum prison term; one count of first-degree intentional homicide for allegedly shooting dead Anthony Huber, which carries a life sentence; and one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide for shooting and injuring Gaige Grosskreutz, which carries a 60-year maximum prison term.

He's also charged with two counts of recklessly endangering safety while using a dangerous weapon and one count of possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18.

The probable cause portion of the complaint outlines what investigators learned from viewing multiple videos of Tuesday night's events as well as from interviewing witness Richard McGinnis of the Daily Caller:

In the first video, a male who was later identified to be Kyle H. Rittenhouse … (hereinafter "the defendant"), is running southwest across the eastern portion of the Car Source parking lot. … The defendant can clearly be seen holding a long gun, which was later recovered by law enforcement and identified as a Smith & Wesson AR-15 style .223 rifle. The recovered magazine for this rifle holds 30 rounds of ammunition. Following the defendant is Rosenbaum and trailing behind the defendant and Rosenbaum is a male who was later identified as Richard McGinnis, a reporter.

The video shows that as they cross the parking lot, Rosenbaum appears to throw an object at the defendant. The object does not hit the defendant and a second video shows, based on where the object landed, that it was a plastic bag. Rosenbaum appears to be unarmed for the duration of this video. A review of the second video shows that the defendant and Rosenbaum continue to move across the parking lot and approach the front of a black car parked in the lot. A loud bang is heard on the video, then a male shouts, "F*** you!", then Rosenbaum appears to continue to approach the defendant and gets in near proximity to the defendant when 4 more loud bangs are heard. Rosenbaum then falls to the ground.

The New York Times released an analysis of videos capturing the Rosenbaum shooting and noted that an unidentified person behind Rittenhouse and Rosenbaum held up a handgun and fired it. The Times' analysis provides two angles, with one showing a gunshot flash and smoke.

After the single round of gunfire from an unknown person and then the volley of four shots, presumably from Rittenhouse, another three shots are heard. Here's more from the criminal complaint:

The defendant then circles behind the black car and approaches Rosenbaum. Rosenbaum remains on the ground. McGinnis also approaches, removes his shirt, and attempts to render aid to Rosenbaum. The defendant appears to get on his cell phone and place a call. Another male approaches, and the defendant turns and begins to run away from the scene. As the defendant is running away, he can be heard saying on the phone, "I just killed somebody."

Detective Cepress interviewed McGinnis and indicates the following: Before the shooting, McGinnis was interviewing the defendant. The defendant told McGinnis that he was a trained medic. McGinnis stated that he (McGinnis) has handled many ARs and that the defendant was not handling the weapon very well. McGinnis said that as they were walking south another armed male who appeared to be in his 30s joined them and said he was there to protect the defendant. McGinnis stated that before the defendant reached the parking lot and ran across it, the defendant had moved from the middle of Sheridan Road to the sidewalk and that is when McGinnis saw a male (Rosenbaum) initially try to engage the defendant. McGinnis stated that as the defendant was walking Rosenbaum was trying to get closer to the defendant. When Rosenbaum advanced, the defendant did a "juke" move and started running. McGinnis stated that there were other people that were moving very quickly. McGinnis stated that they were moving towards the defendant. McGinnis said that according to what he saw the defendant was trying to evade these individuals.

McGinnis described the point where the defendant had reached the car. McGinnis described that the defendant had the gun in a low ready position. Meaning that he had the gun raised but pointed downward. The butt of the gun would have been at an angle downwards from the shoulder. McGinnis stated that the defendant brought the gun up. McGinnis stated that he stepped back and he thinks the defendant fired 3 rounds in rapid succession. McGinnis said when the first round went off, he thought it hit the pavement. McGinnis felt something on his leg and his first thought was wondering whether he had gotten shot. McGinnis was behind and slightly to the right of Rosenbaum, in the line of fire, when the defendant shot.

McGinnis stated that the first round went into the ground and when the second shot went off, the defendant actually had the gun aimed at Rosenbaum. McGinnis stated he did not hear the two exchange any words. McGinnis said that the unarmed guy (Rosenbaum) was trying to get the defendant's gun. McGinnis demonstrated by extending both of his hands in a quick grabbing motion and did that as a visual on how Rosenbaum tried to reach for the defendant's gun. Detective Cepress indicates that he asked McGinnis if Rosenbaum had his hands on the gun when the defendant shot. McGinnis said that he definitely made a motion that he was trying to grab the barrel of the gun. McGinnis stated that the defendant pulled it away and then raised it. McGinnis stated that right as they came together, the defendant fired. McGinnis said that when Rosenbaum was shot, he had leaned in (towards the defendant).

The complaint continues with an account of what occurred after Rittenhouse ran from the scene of first shooting and was pursued by numerous individuals down a street, after which he fell, was physically attacked, and fired more shots:

... A group of several people begin running northbound on Sheridan Road behind the defendant. A person can be heard yelling what sounds like, "Beat him up!" Another person can be heard yelling what sounds like, "Hey, he shot him!" Your complainant reviewed a fourth video that showed a different angle of the defendant running northbound. In this video a person can be heard yelling, "Get him! Get that dude!" Then a male in a light-colored top runs towards the defendant and appears to swing at the defendant with his right arm. This swing makes contact with the defendant, knocking his hat off. The defendant continues to run northbound. On the video a male can be heard saying something to the effect of, "What'd he do?" Another male can be heard responding something to the effect of, "Just shot someone." Then a male can be heard yelling, "Get his ass!" The defendant then trips and falls to the ground.

As the defendant is on the ground, an unidentified male wearing a dark-colored top and light-colored pants jumps at and over the defendant. Based on the sounds of gunshots on the video and the positioning of the defendant's gun, it appears that he fires two shots in quick succession at this person. It appears that that person was not hit as he then runs away from the defendant. A second person who was later identified as Anthony Huber approaches the defendant who is still on the ground, on his back. Huber has a skateboard in his right hand. When Huber reaches the defendant it appears that he is reaching for the defendant's gun with his left hand as the skateboard makes contact with the defendant's left shoulder. Huber appears to be trying to pull the gun away from the defendant. The defendant rolls towards his left side and as Huber appears to be trying to grab the gun the gun is pointed at Huber's body. The defendant then fires one round which can be heard on the video. Huber staggers away, taking several steps, then collapses to the ground. Huber subsequently died from this gunshot wound.

The criminal complaint adds that "after shooting Huber, the defendant moves to a seated position and points his gun at a third male, later identified as Gaige Grosskreutz, who had begun to approach the defendant. When the defendant shot Huber, Grosskreutz freezes and ducks and takes a step back. Grosskreutz puts his hands in the air. Grosskreutz then moves towards the defendant who aims his gun at Grosskreutz and shoots him, firing 1 shot. Grosskreutz was shot in the right arm. Grosskreutz appears to be holding a handgun in his right hand when he was shot."

The criminal complaint adds that "Grosskreutz then runs southbound away from the defendant screaming for a medic and the defendant gets up and starts walking northbound. The defendant turns around facing southbound while walking backwards northbound with his firearm in a ready position, pointed towards the people in the roadway."

Rittenhouse was then seen on video walking down the street and approaching police vehicles with his hands raised. Police did not pick up Rittenhouse at this time.

Autopsy results

The criminal complaint also revealed autopsy results, noting that Rosenbaum had a gunshot wound to his back which perforated his liver and right lung, a gunshot wound to the right groin which fractured his pelvis, a gunshot wound to his left hand, a superficial gunshot wound to his lateral left thigh, and a graze gunshot wound to the right side of his forehead. The complaint added that Huber's autopsy revealed that he had a gunshot wound to this chest that perforated his heart, aorta, pulmonary artery, and right lung.

Employee at vandalized Kenosha business yells at rioters: ‘I got a family to support, I got f***ing kids to feed!’

A distressed employee at a Papa John's restaurant in Kenosha, Wisconsin, shouted through smashed windows at a group of protesters outside the shop Wednesday pleading for an end to the violence.

The restaurant had evidently been vandalized as a part of the nightly riots that have continued this week following the police shooting of 29-year-old black man, Jacob Blake on Sunday.

"Are they trying to get Trump re-elected?" the man shouted in frustration. "Seriously!

"I got a family to support. I got f***ing kids to feed," he added.

In response, a woman can be heard saying: "These people don't represent our movement."

The man responded, "Well, I'm sorry, but they're with you."

The man's frustration is likely representative of the feeling that many Americans have toward Black Lives Matter demonstrations taking place across the country, as it is becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate between peaceful protests and angry riots.

That frustration likely only increases when it is your place of business that becomes the target of violence stemming from protests.

As if it were needed, Portland, Oregon, has served as a test case for what nightly riots mean for local business productivity. After three months of rioting there, a multitude of businesses have been forced to flee potentially causing "irreparable damage" to the city.

In Kenosha, the violence has been similarly pervasive.

Over the last several days, rioters have burned entire car lots, razed several small businesses, and smashed windows of buildings throughout the city. One rioter even pointed a gun directly into the face of a BlazeTV reporter.

On Tuesday night, an armed 17-year-old shot and killed two people and wounded a third after being involved in a clash with rioters. The suspect, Kyle Rittenhouse, has been charged with first-degree murder, among many other charges. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.

Jacob Blake's mother condemned the violence on Tuesday, saying she has been "hurt" and "disgusted" by the community's response.

"Please don't burn up property and cause havoc and tear your own homes down in my son's name," she said, apparently to little effect.

Commentary: We've witnessed the death of our Constitution because we couldn't be bothered to stand up for it

The Constitution, for now, is pretty much dead.

Swish that around in your mouth a little bit. Taste it before you simply spit it out as too bitter to be possible. Because if we're being honest, our governing document simply doesn't govern anymore. It is ignored. It is manipulated. It is mocked.

Yeah, it's more than possible. In fact, it simply is what it is. And like Dr. Strange once said, “I'm here to protect your reality, d-bag."

When Ben Franklin warned he and the rest of those hetero-normative fascists once known as the Founding Fathers were giving us a "republic if we can keep it" they weren't kidding. It turns out, we couldn't keep it.

We grew complacent, and just a little cowardly if we're being honest. Content to think that just voting for a bunch of Republicans who hate us at least as much as the Democrats do (albeit for different reasons) was the stuff of Lexington and Concord. As a result, our civic bedrock has been blown asunder.

Sure, we could blame other things for our looming dystopia — where now not even Kenosha, Wisconsin, is safe from the Hunger Games -- and keep proudly whistling the National Anthem. The courts. The crooked politicians. The anarchists. The virus. All played a role in pointing us toward the ash heap of history, for sure. But they also had a formidable ally.

Us.

See, we couldn't be bothered to get our hands dirty, think outside the box, and challenge a paradigm purposefully created to stifle us. In other words, we cucked ourselves.

However, nature still abhors a vacuum. So if we won't do what must be done legitimately, illegitimate means of doing so will emerge. Like a cherub-faced 17-year-old, who is now charged with first-degree murder for allegedly killing two BLM insurgents in Kenosha.

When you create a vacuum of justice and leadership month after month, year after year, you don't get to complain when somebody else steps in and plays wannabe cowboy. Someone else could have been the man who did so, and more prudently. Instead, we chose to be the cuck who watched. Hate the player, not the game.

The Constitution is dead in the streets and the wild west is here, live and in color, because we let it happen. Not the kid from Illinois. It was us, Mr. and Mrs. “severely conservative," “compassionately conservative" and “big tent conservative." We were great at conferences and conventions, but we plain sucked on main street and in the trenches. We chanted "MAGA" but really meant "AWOL."

Sure, I too would prefer someone a bit more polished and thoughtful and less trigger happy to tend to the refreshing of the tree of liberty, than the young gun hopped up on Mountain Dew, but here we are. To quote President Trump's favorite song: "You can't always get what you want."

Don't think for a second all of this couldn't have been otherwise. You know, if any number of people on the “Right" actually believed what they claimed to stand for and were willing to sacrifice even a fraction of the lives, fortunes and sacred honors that their forefathers did to bring this once great country to life. Instead, more than 100 of that swampy sort gathered during the week of the Republican National Convention to endorse Joe Biden's progressive-fueled and ethically bankrupt dementia in loving memory of their time working for George W Bush, John McCain, and Mitt Romney.

So with the Constitution currently dead, America is now left to the feral mobs running both pseudo-science and the streets. And instead of the Dark Knight, our vigilante is the dude wearing hockey pants.

Thankfully, the God from whom our rights come from has a thing for resurrections. Here's hoping there's some wiser grown men willing to answer His call with a "here I am Lord, send me." It's too late to answer the call to save the Constitution we ignored before, but we're right on time to answer this one now.

Breaking: Multiple felony charges filed against Kyle Rittenhouse in shooting deaths of two people at Kenosha protests

Prosecutors announced multiple felony charges against 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse in the shooting deaths of two protesters caught on video during the Kenosha, Wisconsin, riots.

Rittenhouse was charged with first degree reckless homicide in the death of Joseph Rosenbaum and first degree intentional homicide in the death of Anthony Huber.

He faces one charge of attempted 1st degree intentional homicide for shooting a third man who survived his injury, and charges of 1st degree recklessly endangering safety, 1st degree recklessly endangering safety, and possession of dangerous weapon.

The charges carry a mandatory life sentence if he is convicted.

The altercation happened as protests over the police shooting of Jacob Blake turned to rioting and looting. Many supporters of the protests have used the shooting in order to push a narrative of a white supremacist threat to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Others have pointed to video circulated on social media that appears to show Rittenhouse being attacked by protesters and possibly acting out of self-defense.

Here's a local news video about the tragedy:

CNN faces brutal ridicule over 'mostly peaceful' chyron message as city burns in background

The CNN cable news network faced ridicule and mockery after social media users shared a scene from their coverage of riots with an incongruous chyron description.

The news chyron read, "Fiery but mostly peaceful protests after police shooting," as a CNN reporter stood in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in front of a conflagration set off by the rioting over the police shooting of a black man.

Screenshots and a video of the ironic scene were widely circulated on social media:

— Cabot Phillips (@Cabot Phillips)1598501693.0

In the video, CNN national correspondent Omar Jimenez noted that earlier in the day that the protests were "largely peaceful" but that they "became a little more contentious" after night fell.

Jimenez then recounted the measures police took to disperse the protesters, implying that police aggression was the cause for the rioting.

"And then what you are seeing, the common theme that ties all of this together," Jimenez continued, "is an expression of anger and frustration over what people feel like has become an all-too familiar story playing out in places all across the country, not just here, in Kenosha, Wisconsin."

The response

Twitter users roasted the news network over the bizarre juxtaposition of imagery and chyron.

"It's impossible to dunk on CNN harder than it dunks on itself," noted Buck Sexton.

"CNN has gone full Baghdad Bob," replied Allum Bokhari.

"Y'all.... I have just confirmed... this is real. THIS IS F***ING REAL. This is CNN," responded Jason Howerton.

"This is what a Biden Presidency will bring to your city. Hats off to CNN for having the stamina to continue to carry water for democrats," said California state Sen. Melissa Melendez (R).

The protests and rioting raged on in Kenosha, where an altercation between rioters and counter-protesters led to the shooting deaths of two protesters and another being injured on Tuesday.

Breaking: Investigators say knife recovered from car that Jacob Blake reached into; identity released of officer who shot him

Wisconsin investigators gave an account of the controversial police shooting of Jacob Blake — with a crucial detail and also released the identity of the police officer who shot him.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation released the details on Wednesday after two nights of violent protests, rioting and looting in Kenosha and other cities.

The account said that Kenosha Police Department officers responded to a call from a female saying that her boyfriend was refusing to leave her premises.

When they arrived, they attempted to arrest Blake, who resisted their commands. They tased him but he continued to resist. Officer Rusten Sheskey then fired at Blake seven times when he reached into his car.

Investigators say that Blake admitted that he had a knife in his possession during the initial investigation after the shooting.

The DCI added that the knife was recovered from the driver's side floorboard of Mr. Blake's vehicle. They said a search of the vehicle uncovered no additional weapons.

No body camera footage from the incident is available because the Kenosha Police Department does not employ them.

Blake was hospitalized and his father later told the media that he was paralyzed from the waist down because of the incident.

Violent protests

Video of the shooting of Blake outraged many in the public and immediately led to protests with angry denunciations of the police involved.

On Tuesday evening a shooting at the protests in Kenosha ended with two dead and one person injured. Graphic videos from the shooting show the grisly results of the altercation.

Police later arrested 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse from Illinois as a suspect in the shooting. Newer video footage from the incident appears to show that protesters were antagonizing, threatening, and attacking Rittenhouse before the lethal shooting.

Here's video of the media briefing on the investigation:
