'Subhuman ghouls': People, WaPo trash Scott Adams hours after his death

On Tuesday, Scott Adams, the creator of the beloved comic strip "Dilbert," died after a prolonged battle with metastatic prostate cancer. However, some of his opponents in media wasted no time before criticizing Adams and his accomplishments.

Hours after it was announced that Adams had died, People magazine published an article titled "Scott Adams, Disgraced Dilbert Creator, Dies at 68."

'You are the scum of the earth.'

The author then claimed in the very first paragraph that Adams "degraded Black people in a 2023 rant."

People updated the article at 12:33 p.m. ET, including changing the author of the piece. The updated version says it was written by "People Staff."

However, an earlier, archived version of the article timestamped at 10:47 a.m. ET shows that it was written by Victoria Edel, as many X users, including Eric Daugherty, made sure to emphasize.

Several prominent X users did not try to hide their disgust over the tasteless headline.

"Subhuman ghouls," BlazeTV host Auron MacIntyre said in a reply to People's post.

"You are the scum of the earth," Raw Egg Nationalist wrote.

People's original X post promoting the article also appears to have been deleted.

Other news outlets couldn't resist the opportunity to drag Adams through the mud either.

An archived article originally published from the Washington Post and apparently shared later by the Boston Globe bore the headline, "Scott Adams, ‘Dilbert’ creator who veered into racist, far-right commentary, dies."

Just like the People article, this article wasted no time attacking Adams' right-wing views. The first paragraph reads: "Scott Adams, who became a hero to millions of cubicle-dwelling office workers as the creator of the satirical comic strip 'Dilbert,' only to rebrand himself as a digital provocateur — at home in the Trump era’s right-wing mediasphere — with inflammatory comments about race, politics and identity, died Jan. 13."

For evidence, critics point to a February 22, 2023, stream of Adams' show, "Real Coffee with Scott Adams." The "rant" that they are referring to involves Adams' discussion of a Rasmussen poll of black Americans responding to the statement "it's okay to be white." Fifty-three percent agreed, 26% disagreed, and 21% were not sure about the statement.

Adams took issue with the fact that nearly half of black Americans did not agree with that statement. He said in part, "If nearly half of all blacks are not okay with white people … that's a hate group. I don't want to have anything to do with them. And I would say, based on the current way things are going, the best advice I would give to white people is to get the hell away from black people ... because there is no fixing this."

Adams' critics failed to mention that he went on to encourage his viewers to be "friendly" to everyone and that he was not trying to "start a war" with anyone.

The New York Times’ ‘trillionaire’ lie: The left is now outraged over pure fiction

The left is yet again up in arms about a non-issue, this time regarding the amount of trillionaires in America. Because what they don’t appear to know is that there are no trillionaires in America.

“We did it. They’ve been eradicated. There are no American trillionaires. We did it everybody. Yay. I guess that's a goal we all have now. In case you didn’t know,” BlazeTV host Stu Burguiere says on “Stu Does America.” “A lot of people on the left apparently don’t.”

And sadly, the New York Times has landed on the list of those who don’t know this, as a recent article is titled, “Musk Wins $1 Trillion Pay Package, Creating Split Screen on Wealth in America.”

“Again, no it doesn’t,” Burguiere comments.

“At Tesla, based in the Austin, Texas, area, shareholders have largely bought into a winner-takes-all version of capitalism, agreeing by a wide margin to give Mr. Musk shares worth almost a trillion dollars if the company under his management achieves ambitious financial and operational goals over the next decade,” the article reads.

“Now, the terms I would like you to look at in that particular quote are ‘shareholders.’ So, the people whose money is going to be paid to Elon Musk have bought in. So, why would they buy into a winner-takes-all philosophy of capitalism? Because that would bankrupt them, right?” Burguiere asks.

“Elon wins, they get nothing, right? Let’s think about it a little bit. Could it possibly be that they actually win too? Could it possibly be that they think that if Elon Musk becomes a trillionaire, they’re doing pretty darn well for themselves as well? Could it possibly be that the New York freaking Times, located in the financial capital of the world, have no idea what they’re talking about?” he continues.

“And you might say, ‘Well, yeah, that is what it means, Stu.’ No, it doesn’t. It means they’re lying. They know exactly what’s going on here. They know why they’re framing it this way. And they’re doing it completely intentionally,” he adds.

The article goes on to discuss mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s New York victory as a “reminder of the frustrations many Americans have with an economic system that has left them struggling to afford basics like food, housing, and child care.”

“I assure you, Elon Musk having a trillion dollars, which I will note he does not have, but if he did have it, that money would not have anything to do with someone in New York feeding themselves. It’s literally got nothing to do with them starving on the streets,” Burguiere says.

“It’s got nothing to do with Elon Musk. He’s not doing this to people,” he adds.

Veteran journalist gets hammered for continuing to deny Biden's decline despite damning new reports

A veteran journalist is getting mocked and ridiculed on social media after he continued to suggest that former President Joe Biden had not suffered mental deterioration at the end of his presidency.

The debate over Biden's mental diminishment was sparked by a new book from Jake Tapper documenting statements from close advisers and staffers who watched his decline firsthand.

'The poisoned mind of a biased status chasing cretin.'

John Harwood registered his skepticism against those reports on social media in a sarcastic missive.

"Oddly, the declining 81-year-old managed to win major climate, infrastructure, and chip investments, rally allies to defend Ukraine, and hand his successor the world's strongest post-pandemic economy," wrote the 68-year-old.

'Was it because, as the Original Sin authors write, 'Biden on a day-in, day-out basis could certainly make decisions and assert wisdom and act as President'?" he added, referring to Tapper's book co-written with Alex Thompson.

Many on social media lambasted Harwood for the bizarre claim.

"The best example of the absolute corruption behind legacy media. The poisoned mind of a biased status chasing cretin," responded Greg Gutfeld.

"You’re completely missing the point. He was likely not a relevant participant in the process," replied former DHS official Jonathan Fahey.

"I really hope he's getting paid well for this self-debasement and isn't just doing it for the exposure," joked Noam Blum.

"This is all you need to know about John Harwood. He sounds like a Soviet hack," said another critic.

"You forgot to mention very high inflation, supply chain shortages, 21 million illegals that taxpayers had to pay for, an embarrassing & disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, war in Ukraine due to incompetence, graft & corruption … almost an endless list of failures and bad policies," read another post.

Tapper has not escaped scrutiny over the book, however. Many on the right have harangued him for his part in berating Biden critics at the behest of the White House before Biden dropped out of his re-election campaign.

In a brutal interview with Megyn Kelly, Tapper faced up to much of the criticism and admitted that he fell short.

"I feel humility about my coverage," said Tapper. "It's not like I was asking him his favorite movie or his favorite color. We were talking about Putin. We were talking about other issues of national importance. But yeah, of course, I've said I look back on my coverage with humility. And I wish — I did cover the issues of age and mental acuity, but I wish I had covered them much more."

Harwood worked for CNN as White House correspondent until 2022, was the editor at large for CNBC, and was a contributor at the New York Times.

'The Office' star shoots down MSNBC host over media bias on the economy and immigration under Biden

Rainn Wilson of "The Office" shut down an MSNBC host decrying attacks on the mainstream media from the Trump administration and pushed back with the most damaging recent example of media bias.

Wilson was speaking with Stephanie Ruhle on his "Soul Boom" podcast when she went into a rant about criticism from President Donald Trump and tech billionaire Elon Musk.

'Look, the economy is great, la la la, immigration’s not that much of a problem.'

Wilson pointed out to Ruhle that 40% of Americans polled said that they don't trust media and asked her to explain why they feel this way.

"Listen, we are seeing a huge loss of trust in all of our institutions," she replied.

"Losing that trust is not an accident. It's by design," Ruhle continued. "You had a bit of a perfect storm, right? President Trump won, and tons of people were shocked or angry or frustrated, and they're tuning out. And at the same time, you have the Elon Musk media machine, because they want you to leave traditional media, and they want you to go to X, which is a bastion of misinformation. There is no fact-checking."

"Right," Wilson said.

"So it's a perfect storm of people saying, 'I'm angry. I'm frustrated. I'm tuning out, disconnecting,' and then you have a force pushing it," she continued. "But even in the last two weeks, what we need to do is just cover what is happening in America."

Wilson responded by explaining that a lot of trust had been lost over the media's bias during the Biden administration.

"This is where I would push back, when I see this kind of insight and passion being directed at the current administration and the lack of this kind of insight and passion being directed at the previous administration," he said.

"Here again, I'm not talking about you. I'm talking about left-leaning news media organizations were kind of like, 'La la la la, everything's fine,'" Wilson said, mocking the media. "'Look, the economy is great, la la la, immigration’s not that much of a problem,' and really being Cleopatra, ‘queen of denial.’ Thank you. Boom!"

Wilson's criticism mirrored the attitudes of Americans in polling that showed the immigration crisis and the state of the economy were top worries going into the contentious 2024 election.

Video of the interaction was posted to social media, where it was widely circulated.

Wikipedia scandal exposed: Big Tech manipulates what you see

Wikipedia is no longer what it used to be, and co-founder Larry Sanger knows exactly why.

“Wikipedia can be used to advance a particular social and political agenda,” Sanger tells James Poulos on “Zero Hour.” “This becomes evident only if you know a lot about the topic. So sometimes the only people who are really qualified to tell whether a treatment of a topic is neutral are the people who know a lot about the topic.”

“It’s gotten really, really bad, though, in the Trump years, I mean really noticeably,” he continues, “and I think that is what sort of enlightened people about the problem. So while conservatives and Libertarian and anti-establishment types, they generally continue to despise Wikipedia, this seems to have had little impact on Wikipedia itself.”

“Why would it?” he adds. “This is a feature of the mainstream media. They’re not going to change, and Wikipedia now is essentially a summary of what the mainstream media thinks, at least when it comes to current events, politics, social issues, and so forth.”

However, it’s not just the twisting of the truth to fit a political agenda that’s bothered the co-founder, but the lack of care taken to stop others from spreading horrifying imagery on the website.

This became an issue to Sanger when he was enlightened to the existence of pedophile rings and “graphic representations of child rape on Wikipedia.” He reported it to the FBI in 2010.

“It didn’t do any good. They didn’t follow up. It’s still there. That did change my views insofar as I felt now it’s important to speak out about this, especially in this context,” he explains. “They’re not trying to hide their disdain at all any more, and from my point of view, it felt like simply speaking about such things as a moral imperative has emboldened me to say things that I have believed for many years.”

Jim Acosta gets ruthlessly ridiculed over his defense of the media: 'We are the defenders of the people'

CNN anchor Jim Acosta was ridiculed on Thursday for trying to defend the media in a video he posted on Thursday.

Acosta rejected the characterization made by President-elect Donald Trump that the media was the "enemy of the people" just days before Trump will take office again.

'Your network spreads those lies. Your industry profits off those lies.'

"I want to take a moment to talk about something President Biden said during his farewell address," said Acosta.

"He warned the free press is crumbling in this country. I would add that's only if we the people let that happen. Journalists exist to seek the truth, to tell people's stories, to lift up voices that may not be heard otherwise. To shine a light on injustice and to hold the powerful accountable," he continued.

"We are not the enemy of the people, we are the defenders of the people," he claimed.

Many on social media excoriated Acosta for trying to claim the high-minded principles of journalism after so many examples of media malfeasance, incompetence, and bias.

"But the American press is not free. It is captured by its biases and bigotries against conservatives and its refusal to hold itself accountable for covering up the mental decline of the President of the United States," replied talk show host Erick Erickson.

"Jimmy, you're a liar. Your network spreads those lies. Your industry profits off those lies. You are the enemy of the people and I cannot wait until you are sued into bankruptcy for all the lies you spread," responded novelist Jacob Airey.

"Free press isn’t crumbling. Networks that employ partisan paid actors to spew narratives are dying. Look in the mirror sport," read one popular response.

"Just start delivering the news rather than your politics, Jim, and you'll be fine. But ... can you do that?" said another critic.

"You speaking about the free press while embracing the Left's censorship over the last few years is peak irony," responded another detractor.

Acosta has been lambasted many times by critics on social media over the bias in mainstream media.

Pete Hegseth vs. the swamp — 3-part character assassination EXPLAINED

Like clockwork, every time Trump taps another person for his administration, the media releases a long list of allegations attached to that nominee in an attempt to discredit him from the position he's been nominated for. The smear campaign against Matt Gaetz was enough for him to withdraw his name. And now DOD nominee Pete Hegseth is having his name drug through the mud relentlessly.

“Pete Hegseth is a disruptor, and because he's a disruptor and threatens to disrupt the military industrial complex itself, Pete has come under horrendous attack,” says Liz Wheeler, noting that these attacks are not related to “the policies that he wants to implement at the Department of Defense,” nor are they related to “his political positions.”

These are “character assassinations and reputation smears,” says Liz.

The media has even gone as far as involving Hegseth’s own mother in its mission to besmirch his name. Recently, the New York Times published a hit piece featuring an email Pete received from his mother, Penelope, in which she condemned his promiscuity.

“This was years ago during a nasty divorce that Pete was going through, and his mother sent him an email telling him to stop sleeping around. She said, ‘You're being nasty to women, and I'm not proud of that kind of behavior in my son,”’ Liz recounts, adding that Hegseth’s mother has since had to do damage control in an effort to clear her son’s name.

How the news outlet got its hands on this correspondence is suspicious in and of itself.

But beyond that, the fact of the matter is, Pete Hegseth’s romantic past, however immoral it might be, does not impact his ability to do the job.

“I don't agree with Pete sleeping around. I think a lot of people probably don't,” says Liz. “Will that impact his ability to do his job at the Department of Defense? Absolutely not.”

Perhaps the media knows, however, that past promiscuity isn’t sufficient to sully his name because now it’s developed a new attack angle.

“The newest line of attack against Pete Hegseth is that he would come to work at Fox drunk,” says Liz, calling the allegation an “elementary character assassination,” especially considering it’s based on “10 anonymous sources,” who “refused to go on the record” with their accusations.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) stated that the allegations against Pete Hegseth are “very disturbing” and that Senate confirmation is “going to be difficult.”

“Do you think Lindsey Graham is actually disturbed by these allegations, or is Lindsey Graham disturbed by the fact that Pete Hegseth thinks that we should end the wars that Lindsey Graham profits off of?” asks Liz. “Lindsey Graham never met a war he didn’t like.”

However, there’s been a third attack on Pete Hegseth.

“There's been a report that President Trump is considering dropping Pete Hegseth and replacing him with Ron DeSantis,” says Liz.

However, when CEO and co-founder of the Federalist Sean Davis spoke with sources from the Trump transition team about these rumors, he was told that the entire story is “absolute nonsense.”

“There's a report (call it a rumor if you want) that these kinds of stories are being planted by RINO senators” — “neocons,” like Joni Ernst, who “wants to be the Secretary of Defense herself,” says Liz.

“I have a message today for the despicable, lying sycophants who are throwing these fake hatchets at Pete Hegseth and Kash Patel, too: You have no idea the sleeping giant that you have awakened when you weaponized government to target us. ... If you think that we're going to roll over, just let you torpedo Trump's nominees with unsubstantiated, anonymous fake news and slimy character assassinations, you're utterly delusional. We were born for this fight,” says Liz.

CBS caught EDITING Kamala’s ‘60 Minutes’ answer about Israel

If you need any more evidence that the media is owned by the Democrat Party, look no further than what CBS just did to Kamala Harris’ answer about Israel in her recent interview with Bill Whitaker of “60 Minutes.”

Dave Rubin plays the original answer Harris gave followed by the edited answer, and they couldn’t be more opposite.

“This is wild,” he says.

The statement Whitaker posed was: “It seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening.”

In her original, unedited response, Harris said the following: “The work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.”

A “completely nonsensical, ridiculous answer,” says Dave.

Now compare that to CBS’ version of the clip.

To Whitaker’s statement about Netanyahu not listening, Harris said, “We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.”

It’s clear that editors did away with Harris' word salad and replaced it with “this very direct response” to make her look better.

"[CBS is] in service to the Democrat Party,” sighs Dave. “Bill Whitaker, who did a really fine job there, he should be seriously pissed, because he did ask good questions.”

MSNBC lies: Clip of Joe Rogan edited to praise Kamala Harris — but he wasn’t

If you need more evidence that the mainstream media is not your friend, look no further than the stunt MSNBC just tried to pull on Joe Rogan.

The major news network deceptively edited a clip of Rogan to make it seem as though he was praising Kamala Harris, when he really was praising Tulsi Gabbard — and he’s understandably pissed.

“This is what MSNBC did,” Rogan told Andrew Huberman on an episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience.” “They took a clip of me talking about Tulsi Gabbard, and they edited it up and made it look like I was saying great things about Kamala Harris.”

“They just deceptively edited the things that I was saying, took it completely out of context,” Rogan continued. “First of all, I was talking about Tulsi Gabbard, and then I was talking about the media behind Kamala Harris, all this surge, and all these people just deciding that she’s good, she could win, and they put the two of those together and made it seem like I was praising Kamala Harris.”

Rogan had been discussing Gabbard’s accomplishments, like being a congresswoman for eight years and her two overseas deployments in medical units helping injured soldiers.

“They don’t care about the truth. They just want a narrative to get out there amongst enough people, ‘cause most people are just surface readers,” Rogan explained.

Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” isn’t surprised.

“Evil, that’s the word, and you got to admire what they do,” Rubin tells Sage Steele. “Do they think they’re going to get away with it?”

“But the answer I guess ultimately is yes, because they keep doing it, and they still get a certain amount of people to follow,” he continues. “Maybe their whole game is like ‘Oh, Rogan’s going to call on us, more people are going to watch our show. That’s just the nature of the clickbait evil.”

Did CNN just admit Kamala Harris flip-flopped on a number of issues?

In a rare moment, CNN, one of the most liberal, propaganda-driven news outlets, acknowledged that Kamala Harris has reversed course on several different issues, including defunding the police, illegal border crossings, Medicare, and drilling for oil.

Dave Rubin plays the clip of Dana Bash asking California’s newest senator, Laphonza Butler, about how voters should respond to Harris’ flip-flopping.

- YouTubewww.youtube.com

“In the 2020 primary, the vice president praised the defund-the-police movement; now she says she doesn’t support defunding the police. She called for decriminalizing crossing the border illegally; now she supports President Biden’s policies for clamping down at the border. She supported Medicare for all at one point, eliminating private insurance, and her campaign says she doesn’t support that now. She’s reversed herself on a fracking ban,” Bash laid out.

“What do you think that voters should think when she’s reversed herself on several issues just in the last four years?” she asked Butler.

Butler’s response was typical.

“I think that voters should think that she's a human being who learns new things every single day and has the ability to take the time and effort to hear the concerns of all people. I think that they should be certain that she is a fighter and a leader who’s going to do the work on their behalf to ensure that there is an economy that ensures that no one is left behind … that we’re going to continue to address the climate crisis in a way that ensures that there is an earth here for young people and for next generations of leaders. I think that they should absolutely believe that she is a leader who cares about people and who’s going to put them first, as she has done her entire career,” Butler said.
