Mystery man connected to the death of hockey player Adam Johnson arrested on suspicion of manslaughter

A couple of weeks ago, Blaze Media published an article about the tragic death of American hockey player Adam Johnson.

During the Challenge Cup game at the Sheffield Arena in England, an opponent by the name of Matt Petgrave crashed into one of Johnson’s teammates. Their collision was so intense that it caused Petgrave to become airborne and his skate to slice the neck of Johnson, who was nearby.

Johnson was taken to the hospital, where he later died as a result of the injury.

For a while, the media called the incident a “freak accident,” but many people have called for Petgrave’s arrest, claiming he’s guilty of recklessness and therefore manslaughter.

Pat Gray, for one, thinks “it’s pretty clear he did this on purpose,” referencing the way Petgrave seemed to intentionally “donkey kick” his skate as it collided with Johnson’s throat.

However, others have been adamant that the ordeal was a total accident. Petgrave was even given a standing ovation during a recent hockey match.

While it initially seemed like Petgrave’s life would move forward with little consequence, there’s been a strange turn of events.

While British police have refused to say exactly who, they have admitted to arresting a person connected to Johnson’s death on suspicion of manslaughter, but Pat thinks it’s obvious that “they arrested Matt Petgrave.”

However, this mystery man has already been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Pat and co-hosts think there’s a chance this could be a cover-up.

Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence drag queen arrested for allegedly masturbating in public in broad daylight

An active member of drag queen group the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence was arrested near a park in California for publicly exposing himself.

Clinton Monroe Ellis-Gilmore, a member of the Eureka, California, chapter of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, was arrested at Table Bluff County Park in Loleta, California, on August 12, 2023, according to TimCast.

The 53-year-old man was arrested after police received a report of a male “exposing himself in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle,” according to the Humboldt County Sheriff's office.

“According to numerous witnesses, Ellis-Gilmore had been at that location for approximately one hour, sitting in his truck with the door open, masturbating,” a sheriff's report said, according to the Daily Wire. “The conduct does not appear to have been directed at anyone in particular.”

Not only was the man reportedly shirtless at the time of his arrest, a witness said he was absolutely flagrant about his alleged crime. Witness Randy Creek said he saw Ellis-Gilmore "playing with himself" and that his left leg was outside his open car door while his right leg was on the dashboard while he was pants-less.

It was "f**ked up," Fleek said. “It’s obvious. You cannot help but see this guy, he’s not hiding it.”

He “wants everyone to see what he’s doing,” the witness said, even claiming that the naked man seemed pleased when the sheriffs arrived and got him dressed.

“There’s something wrong with that man. He’s got a weird f**king desire to show off to the public, to anybody that wants to look at him,” Fleek added. “He puts himself in a position and in a spot that you can’t help but look at the son of a bitch."

Ellis-Gilmore allegedly goes by the names “NoviceSister Bethe Cockhim” and “Novice Sister Man Romeo," running a Facebook account under the former.

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence made headlines in June 2023 when they were famously invited, uninvited, and then invited once again by the Los Angeles Dodgers to celebrate a Pride night at Dodger Stadium.

This caused backlash from the California public, who gathered in the thousands for a protest outside the stadium. Several Major League Baseball players took issue with the group's mockery of Catholicism, particularly Trevor Williams, along with two of the Dodgers' own pitchers, Blake Treinen and Clayton Kershaw.

Liberal MSNBC host tells Peter Hotez not to debate RFK Jr.; likens Kennedy to a Holocaust denier

Vaccine promoter Peter Hotez remains unwilling to agree to a debate with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. over whether the Democratic presidential candidate's criticisms of the COVID-19 vaccines amount to "misinformation" — even though Joe Rogan and a cadre of interested parties have together volunteered to donate over $2.6 million to the charity of his choosing.

Hotez appears more than happy to talk, just not to those with dissenting viewpoints for charity's sake.

He appeared Sunday on MSNBC's "Mehdi Hasan Show," in part to peddle his new book, but also to take more digs at Kennedy, suggesting that joining him on Rogan's podcast for a debate would "turn it into 'The Jerry Springer Show.'"

Hasan, in turn, condemned the prospect of debate and likened Kennedy to a "Holocaust denier."

What's the background?

TheBlaze previously reported that Hotez, a self-described "internationally-recognized physician-scientist in neglected tropical diseases and vaccine development," drew Rogan's ire on Saturday by circulating a hit piece from a bankrupted leftist blog that bemoaned Spotify's reluctance to censor the podcast host over so-called "misinformation."

The article, by Anna Merlan, focused on Rogan's recent interview with Kennedy, in which the two discussed the possible fallout from various pharmaceutical initiatives, including the COVID-19 vaccines.

Hotez tweeted, "Spotify Has Stopped Even Sort of Trying to Stem Joe Rogan’s Vaccine Misinformation. It’s really true ⁦@annamerlan⁩ just awful. And from all the online attacks I’m receiving after this absurd podcast, it’s clear many actually believe this nonsense."

Rogan quickly fired back with a proposal: "Peter, if you claim what RFKjr is saying is 'misinformation' I am offering you $100,000.00 to the charity of your choice if you’re willing to debate him on my show with no time limit."

Others have since volunteered funds to the charity debate pot, reportedly now over $2.62, including Cosmos founder Jae Kwon ($777,000), kickboxer Andrew Tate ($500,000), billionaire investor Bill Ackman ($150,000), Steve Kirsch ($100,00), and podcast host Tim Pool ($100,000).

RFK Jr. accepted the challenge: "Peter. Let’s finally have the respectful, congenial, informative debate that the American people deserve."

Hotez responded to Rogan, but then quickly deleted the tweet: "Be serious Joe, that's what you throw out for your hunting buddies on a weekend. $50 million endowment (which You/Spotify/RFK Jr. can easily afford), not for me but so we can continue making low-cost patent-free vaccines for the world's poor. Preceded by RFK Jr.'s public apology."

While Hotez later stated he was "happy to come on and clear the air," he did not agree to the debate.

Echoing a popular sentiment online, scientist Bret Weinstein noted, "If Hotez believed his own press, he’d debate. Big money going to a good cause neutralizes the 'dignifying' argument and winning would be a decisive victory against RFK Jr.’s perspective, which gains ground daily. But @PeterHotez would have to win and he can’t, for obvious reasons."

Elon Musk jumped into the fray by replying, "Maybe @PeterHotez just hates charity," adding, "He's afraid of a public debate, because he knows he's wrong."

“@joerogan He’s afraid of a public debate, because he knows he’s wrong”
— Joe Rogan (@Joe Rogan) 1687045901

Tom Nichols, a staff writer at the Atlantic, pre-empted Hasan in suggesting that "no medical professional should ever agree to this. Never. It elevates the conspiracy guy, demeans the medical professional, and will only convince the kooks out there that RFK is right because a real doctor took the time to debate him. Never debate a conspiracy theorist."

Rogan said in reply, "That would be a great suggestion if you could assure that the industry you were representing wasn’t completely captured by heartless monsters who have a history of some of the biggest criminal fines in human history because their deception has cost hundreds of thousands of people their lives. It would be a great suggestion if the industry you were defending didn’t occasionally look at human beings as an opportunity to generate insane wealth regardless of the tragic consequences."

"You can't do that, so... maybe it would be a good idea to have a f***ing debate," added Rogan, who went on to retweet a video by Matt Orfalea calling Hotez "The Great Double-Talking Vaccine Scientist."

Hasan's warm embrace

Hotez took a break from retweeting posts praising his record Sunday to appear on Hasan's show.

Dressed in a lab coat, Hotez told the MSNBC host, "During the COVID pandemic ... 200,000 Americans needlessly perished because they believed the anti-vaccine disinformation and refused to take a COVID vaccine during the Delta wave and Ba1 Omicron wave in 2021, 2022, after vaccines were widely available. So the point is anti-vaccine disinformation, it's always done a lot of damage and harm, but now it's a lethal force in the United States."

"That's why we have to have that discussion," Hotez said, adding he was still happy to do so one on one with Rogan, just not with Kennedy present.

“In science, we don’t typically do debates," he told Hasan. "What we do is we write scientific papers. … One doesn’t typically debate science. Maybe the one-off discussion of evolution versus creationism and that sort of thing, but that’s not what we do in science.”

Hasan — whose network advanced the claim in 2021 that the COVID vaccine completely protects against symptoms and transmission — noted he was "fed up" with invitations to debate the issues, intimating that Hotez's writing and past appearances on corporate news programs were themselves satisfactory.

After stressing his antipathy for corrective exchanges of ideas, Hasan then accused Kennedy of contributing to a "vaccine misinformation culture that has led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of lives" and likened him to a "Holocaust denier."

The MSNBC host invoked his own book on the art of debating, then stressed the importance of Hotez avoiding a debate for fear of "elevating the cranks."

Joe Rogan slams COVID vaccine advocate who called him a 'neofascist,' challenges him to big money debate with RFK Jr., then Elon Musk jumps into the fray

Joe Rogan blasted a COVID vaccine advocate over accusing him of spreading health misinformation and calling him a "neofascist." Rogan challenged the vaccine researcher to debate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and backed it up with a huge payday for charity.

Peter Hotez is a self-described "internationally-recognized physician-scientist in neglected tropical diseases and vaccine development." Hotez expanded his public profile during the COVID-19 pandemic by making countless appearances on cable news, where he rigorously advocated the COVID vaccine for all ages.

On Saturday morning, Hotez shared an article on Twitter from Vice titled: "Spotify Has Stopped Even Sort of Trying to Stem Joe Rogan’s Vaccine Misinformation."

Hotez wrote, "And from all the online attacks I’m receiving after this absurd podcast, it’s clear many actually believe this nonsense."

The Vice article attacked Rogan's recent interview on Spotify with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. – a skeptic of the mRNA vaccines and Democratic presidential candidate challenging Joe Biden.

The Vice writer claimed that the interview was "an orgy of unchecked vaccine misinformation, some conspiracy-mongering about 5G technology and Wi-Fi, and, of course, Rogan once again praising ivermectin, an ineffective faux COVID treatment."

The writer asserted that "The Joe Rogan Experience" episode promoted "Kennedy’s most dangerously incorrect views, a far too extensive list to outline in full, all of which Rogan accepted uncritically, his mouth quite often literally agape in awe."

Rogan fired back at Hotez on Saturday night with a challenge, "Peter, if you claim what RFK Jr. is saying is 'misinformation' I am offering you $100,000.00 to the charity of your choice if you’re willing to debate him on my show with no time limit."

Hotez responded to Rogan, but then quickly deleted the tweet, "Be serious Joe, that's what you throw out for your hunting buddies on a weekend. $50 million endowment (which You/Spotify/RFK Jr. can easily afford), not for me but so we can continue making low-cost patent-free vaccines for the world's poor. Preceded by RFK Jr.'s public apology."

Hotez replied to Rogan, "Joe, you have my cell, my email, I'm always willing to speak with you."

Rogan slammed Hotez, "This is a non-answer. I challenged you publicly because you publicly quote tweeted and agreed with that dogs**t Vice article. If you're really serious about what you stand for, you now have a massive opportunity for a debate that will reach the largest audience a discussion."

The prolific podcaster added, "To those misunderstanding what he’s saying, he’s NOT agreeing to debate @RobertKennedyJr. He’s just offering to come on my show by himself."

Rogan shared a reported screenshot of a May 2023 tweet from Hotez claiming that he was "concerned" about a "pretty formidable coalition with neofascist leanings" that included Rogan, RFK Jr., Elon Musk, and Tucker Carlson.

Hotez later deleted the tweet because he said, "I decided to take down my tweet on the Tucker-Elon alliance. Some very smart people I respect thought my concerns were premature or shouldn’t be labeled at this point. Another, too over-the-top. I agreed, guess we’ll see what unfolds."

Rogan asked Hotez, "Are you sure I’m not a part of a coalition with neofascist leanings? Seems like that’s what you really think, or what you’re projecting to the masses."

“Are you sure I’m not a part of a coalition with neofascist leanings? Seems like that’s what you really think, or what you’re projecting to the masses.”
— Joe Rogan (@Joe Rogan) 1687047561

RFK Jr. accepted the challenge, "Peter. Let’s finally have the respectful, congenial, informative debate that the American people deserve."

Elon Musk jumped into the fray by replying, "Maybe @PeterHotez just hates charity."

Musk asked Hotez if he "endorses" Vice, then shared a 2007 Vice article documenting Columbian women who have sex with donkeys.

Musk told Rogan on Twitter, "He’s afraid of a public debate, because he knows he’s wrong."

Hotez lashed out at Musk, "Seriously Elon? This is monstrous. 200,000 Americans needlessly perished (including 40,000 Texans, our neighbors) because they were victims of antivaccine disinformation during our awful Covid delta/BA.1 waves in 2021-22. Please don’t do this."

Musk retorted:

"First of all, I am generally pro vaccine. I have been vaccinated against pretty much everything, as have my kids. Second, I think there is tremendous promise in synthetic mRNA. It is like medicine going from analog to digital. That said, the world obviously went crazy with excess vaccination against 'Covid-19.' I have that in quotes, because the RNA sequences changed so much that I called it the virus of Theseus. So many people I know had serious side effects from the vaccines, including myself. Failure to acknowledge that is a lie. As for the deaths you claim are due to COVID-19, why is the nation of Sweden still alive!? Just go on Rogan and do the debate."

Hotez then wrote on Twitter, "Let’s remember what this is about, not a small number of Americans lost their lives from antivaccine disinformation during the pandemic. 200,000 Americans perished, 40,000 from my State of Texas I have nothing personal vs Joe, Elon, RFK Jr. Just hoping to halt more destruction."

Hotez added, "Not easy to respond when those 3 gang up and tag team. Wish I could be more eloquent and clever when the moment demands, but there you are."

Hotez later retweeted the Twitter account for the "Sorry Not Sorry" podcast by liberal activist Alyssa Milano, which read: "For the record, @PeterHotez has been on our podcast multiple times. He doesn’t need to debate a science-denier on the podcast of someone who has given platforms to science deniers. He’s already won the debate with the truth."

Rogan has had Hotez as a guest on "The Joe Rogan Experience" in 2019 and 2020.

Rogan previously invited Hotez to debate RFK Jr., but deflected by comparing him to a "Holocaust denier."

“Listen to Hotez explain to @joerogan why he doesn’t want to debate @RobertKennedyJr on vaccines

“He’s an attorney, he is very clever!… what am I? Im just a scientist…”

do you think this reason is legit?
@elonmusk”
— aussie17 (@aussie17) 1687053204

During a previous interview, Rogan challenged Hotez about how he enhances his immunity without vaccines. Hotez admitted that he is a "junk foodaholic," which Rogan pointed out that there is a "large body of data that connects poor diet to a host of diseases."

Rogan questioned why Hotez doesn't regularly take vitamins, and the scientist said he "didn't think they're needed."

Hotez quickly changed the subject, "But you still need your vaccines."

Rogan rebutted, "But vaccines aren't going to prevent cancer."

“.@JoeRogan grills Dr. Peter Hotez for exclusively promoting vaccines while disregarding exercise, vitamins, and a healthy diet:

"There's a large body of data that connects poor diet to a host of diseases... You don't think vitamins are needed while you eat junk food?"”
— KanekoaTheGreat (@KanekoaTheGreat) 1687058359

Earlier this week, independent journalist Matt Taibbi questioned the consistency of COVID vaccine messaging from Hotez during the coronavirus pandemic.

“In his latest video, @0rf shows a before-and-after history of statements by celebrated health expert Dr. Peter Hotez:

BEFORE: “If you wait, it’s going to be too late to protect your child... 'Soviet style intimidation': Armed IRS agents raid, close gun shop, U.S. lawmaker says

Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-Mont.) is demanding answers after he says a group of armed IRS agents raided and temporarily closed a Montana gun shop in Great Falls Wednesday.

"This event is another example of President Biden weaponizing federal agencies to target and harass hardworking Americans for exercising their constitutional rights," Rosendale said in a letter to leaders of the Internal Revenue Service and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Twenty heavily armed federal agents pulled in behind Highwood Creek Outfitters' owner Tom Van Hoose as he arrived at his shop Wednesday morning, KRTV reported.

IRS agents confiscated background check forms from the store that contained sensitive personal information about all customers who ever purchased a gun at the shop. The forms do not include financial information, Rosendale said, calling the act an "egregious breach of privacy" that "showed no regard for federal law."

"There is no circumstance in which 4473s would be necessary in an investigation spearheaded by the IRS," Rosendale said in a letter addressed to ATF Director Steven Dettelbach and IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel.

Rosendale asked the ATF and IRS to "cease conducting these Soviet-style intimidation raids." He also included a list of questions about what spurred the action, setting a June 23 deadline for response.

Van Hoose told the outlet his shop has been surveilled by state and federal agencies for the past two years. He says he believes the actions are part of a pattern.

"The current administration seems hell bent on getting those guns out of the hands of average Americans," Van Hoose said, referring to the style of weapons he sells.

Van Hoose said that though the agents were cordial and professional, he felt "invaded" and lost nearly an entire day's business.

"Given the positions of the Biden Administration, this raid appears to be an attempt to intimidate firearms dealers and owners," Rosendale said in his letter to the leaders of the ATF and the IRS.

"This pattern [of intimidation and harassment] appears to be orchestrated directly from the White House," Rosendale also wrote.

"The weaponization of our government must be STOPPED, which is why I sent a letter to ATF Director Dettelbach and IRS Commissioner Werfel demanding answers about this outrageous attack, and have used every tool available to me to remove funding for the 87,000 additional IRS agents!" Rep. Rosendale wrote in a Facebook post Friday.
Rosendale responded to initial reports of the investigation on Flag Day, June 14, saying he was "incredibly disturbed" about the IRS and ATF reportedly closing Highwood Creek Outfitters without warning.

"This is yet another example of the Biden Administration weaponizing federal agencies to target and harass hardworking Americans," Rosendale tweeted Wednesday.

“I’m incredibly disturbed by initial reports that the IRS and ATF closed Highwood Creek Outfitters without any warning today. This is yet another example of the Biden Administration weaponizing federal agencies to target and harass hardworking Americans.”
— Matt Rosendale (@Matt Rosendale) 1686785205

The Great Falls Police Department received notification of the operation and provided security, KTVQ reported.

A spokesperson for IRS Criminal Investigation told the Billlings Gazette they would reach out when more information became available, saying only that "IRS Criminal Investigation was on site as part of their official business." The ATF referred the Gazette's inquiries to the IRS.

TheBlaze reached out to Van Hoose for comment, but did not hear back in time for publication.

Biden goes 'off script' and promises to build a railroad across the Indian Ocean, prompting mockery: 'Ambitious'

President Joe Biden promised to build a railroad across the world's third-largest ocean just minutes after four environmental activist groups jointly endorsed his re-election campaign. While the proposal did not immediately prompt any take-backs from his green supporters, Biden's blue ambitions prompted parody and concern online.

Biden addressed some of the beneficiaries of the $370 billion in subsidies for clean energy projects included in the Inflation Reduction Act at the League of Conservation Voters' annual fundraising dinner in Washington, D.C., Wednesday evening.

Just before he started his speech, the four major green groups — LCV Action Fund, NextGen PAC, Natural Resources Defense Council Action Fund, and the Sierra Club — announced their support for his 2024 campaign, reported Politico.

The president zeroed in on their pre-eminent concern, the specter of anthropogenic climate change, stressing that it was "the only truly existential threat." Biden then proceeded to describe some of the ways his administration has worked to address the abstract threat.

Midway through his speech, Biden admittedly went "off script" with a promise spanning 6,200 miles.

"We have plans to build a railroad from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean," he said. "We have plans to build in — in Angola one of the largest solar plants in the world. I can go on, but I’m not. I’m going off script. I’m going to get in trouble."

The Indian Ocean, which has a mean depth of -3,741m, stretches from the southern tip of Africa all the way to Australia.

“BIDEN: "We have plans to build a railroad from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean"”
— RNC Research (@RNC Research) 1686800190

Former Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz tweeted, "Bold initiative, Mr. President."

BlazeTV's Dave Rubin, tweeted, "That’s really nice, grandpa. Maybe you want to sit down for a few minutes?"

The DeSantis campaign shared a picture of a map charting the proposed railroad with the caption, "Ambitious."

— RNC Research (@RNC Research) 1686800190

Rob Schmitt of Newsmax quipped, "F yeah!!! 8,000 MILE OCEAN TRAIN! BIDEN 2024!"

"Those whom the gods wish to destroy they first make mad," wrote Sen. Ted Cruz's (R-Texas) national security adviser, Omri Ceren.

Republican consultant Matt Whitlock noted, "It'll be nice to finally have a direct route to Madagascar."

“It'll be nice to finally have a direct route to Madagascar.”
— Matt Whitlock (@Matt Whitlock) 1686800308

At other points during his speech, Biden appeared to lose focus along with his point.

TheBlaze previously reported that the president's repeated falls, including his face-plant during the U.S. Air Force Academy's June 1 graduation ceremony in Colorado Springs, Colorado, coupled with his consequential gaffes have elicited concern from critics and allies alike.

Failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was among those to admit, "His age is an issue, and people have every right to consider it."

A recent NBC News survey of 1,000 adults, conducted April 14-18, found that 70% of respondents, including 51% of Democrats, don't think Biden should run again, with the majority citing age as a key reason behind their opposition.

The president told the host of MSNBC's "The Sunday Show," Jonathan Capehart, in October, "I could drop dead tomorrow," said Biden. "I think people should look and say, 'Is he still have the same passion for what he's doing?' And if they think I do and I can do it, then that's fine. ... If they don't, they should vote against me."

Matt Walsh offers to respond to Rolling Stone's comment request on one condition: 'I will provide a comment for your hit piece if you can define the word 'woman'"

Conservative commentator Matt Walsh of the Daily Wire has offered to respond to Rolling Stone's request for comment on one condition — the reporter must "define the word 'woman.'"

Walsh shared a screenshot of an email containing the outlet's request for comment.

"My name is Nikki McCann Ramírez, and I'm a politics reporter with Rolling Stone. We are reaching out because my colleague, EJ Dickson, and I are working on a piece about right-wing influencers increasingly focusing on posting transphobic content, and we are citing Mr. Matt Walsh as an example, as we have noticed he has centered much of his content around transgender individuals in the past several years," the email read.

"Would he like to provide comment regarding why he has made this topic an area of focus, and what initially drew his attention to it? Please let us know by tomorrow EOD if Mr. Walsh would like to add anything to our piece," the email stated.

Walsh offered to furnish a comment, but only if Ramírez first defines "woman."

"We got this email from @NikkiMcR, who used to be a shill for Media Matters and has since moved on to being a shill for Rolling Stone," Walsh tweeted. "Nikki, I will provide a comment for your hit piece if you can define the word ‘woman.’ Send me your definition and I’ll send my comment. Deal?"

Walsh, an outspoken opponent of radical leftist gender ideology, was behind the "What is a Woman?" documentary that exposes the absurdity of the left-wing, gender-bending zeitgeist.

Some leftists have even made the preposterous claim that anyone who claims to be a woman is a woman.

"That's not a definition," Walsh recently noted after former Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner made such a claim. "By that logic, anyone can be anything and no words have any meaning," he noted.

'The university wanted us to be quiet': Another Lia Thomas teammate comes forward — promises to stand up to 'radical views'

A University of Pennsylvania student athlete shared her story publicly after months of remaining anonymous about being on the same team as the infamous transgender swimmer "Lia" Thomas.

Paula Scanlan, who was listed as a senior on Penn Athletics' Women's Swimming and Diving Roster, swam with the aforementioned Thomas, as well as fellow swimmer-turned activist Riley Gaines, according to the Daily Wire.

Thomas is a male athlete who joined the women's swim team in 2021 after he began hormone replacement therapy in May 2019. Thomas went on to win the women's NCAA Division I national championship in the 500-yard freestyle, completely dominating his competition in state and regional competitions leading up to winning the women's title.

Scanlan had previously spoken anonymously about the ordeal, appearing as an unnamed teammate in the Daily Wire's "What Is a Woman?" documentary but has since chosen to speak out publicly about Thomas joining the women's team.

"One of the girls [was] very upset. She went crying to the athletic department, I don't know what they said to her but she then was completely on board and thought Lia swimming was this magical, beautiful thing," Scanlan told Matt Walsh in an interview. "Is there something wrong with me for thinking this was wrong? It worked. The university wanted us to be quiet, and they did it in a very effective way," she described.

"There was something going on in that athletic department that wanted to keep us quiet, and I was like, this is getting scary," she added.

"The universities need to be held accountable. They have made these radical views endemic in America," Scanlan said in a Twitter response to Walsh, who claimed the University of Pennsylvania manipulated its athletes.

“@MattWalshBlog The universities need to be held accountable. They have made these radical views endemic in America.”
— Matt Walsh (@Matt Walsh) 1686007175

In a post to her own page, Scanlan also urged Americans to stand up and "do the right thing," adding, "Now more than ever it is important as Americans we stand up for the truth. The whole world depends on us to do so."

“As a Taiwanese citizen as well as a US citizen. I’m able to see first hand the impact the decisions we make in America have on the world. Americans we need to step up and do the right thing.”
— Paula Scanlan (@Paula Scanlan) 1686052121

Scanlan detailed that Will "Lia" Thomas himself was the one who explained to female athletes at the university that he would be competing against them in women's swimming. "We were told that next season Will Thomas would be joining the women's team," Scanlan said. "I felt shocked, I felt a little uncomfortable, but everyone around me looked really happy and excited for this member of the men's team to be living their true self."

When Thomas joined the team during the pre-season, Scanlan said it happened "really quick," taking about 10 minutes from Thomas addressing the team, directly to the coach announcing "okay, everybody get in the pool."

As well, Thomas allegedly became much "more talkative" and "more vocal" when joining the women's team, according to Scanlan, who said she never thought Thomas would be the kind of person to be involved in such a "public scandal."

"I'm not sure how much of it was change of personality ... or how much of it was because there was so much media attention," she explained.

“A teammate of Lia Thomas appeared in What Is A Woman anonymously. A few days ago she came to us and said she is ready to come out publicly and tell her story. I had a longer conversation with Paula where she revealed a number of details that weren't covered in the film. Watch:”

'That's not a definition': Matt Walsh pushes back after leftist says anyone who claims to be a woman is a woman

Former Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner has claimed that anyone who claims to be a woman is a woman.

"If someone says they're a woman, they're a woman. Not a tough concept," Turner tweeted in response to someone who asked her to define the word "woman."

“@Crt4Me @RonDeSantis If someone says they’re a woman, they’re a woman. Not a tough concept.”

Conservative commentator Matt Walsh of the Daily Wire, an outspoken opponent of leftist gender ideology who is behind the "What is a Woman?" documentary, responded to Turner's tweet.

"That's not a definition," Walsh noted, adding, "By that logic, anyone can be anything and no words have any meaning."

"Matt, normal people tend to stay respectful and keep it moving. Constantly being obsessed with other people's gender identity is weird behavior. You have your audience so fixated on LGBTQIA+ issues so they won't fight a class war," Turner responded.

Walsh pressed Turner on the issue, asking her what a woman is.

"Nina, how is it disrespectful to insist that words have meaning? And why are you wasting all of this time tweeting around the issue instead of simply answering the question? What is a woman?" Walsh tweeted.

"Already answered the question—if someone says they’re a woman, believe them and move on. This fight makes you a lot of money, though," Turner replied.

Last month, Democratic Texas state Rep. John Bucy III gave basically the same definition when pressed by a GOP colleague about what a woman is.

"When a woman tells me they're a woman, I know they're a woman," Bucy said.

In addition to promoting radical leftist gender ideology, Turner also advocates for left-wing policies such as free college and free healthcare.

'This is not even a remotely conservative media outlet': Matt Walsh calls out Fox News for using female pronouns to refer to men

Conservative commentator Matt Walsh of the Daily Wire is calling out Fox News for perpetuating radical leftist gender ideology by using the preferred pronouns of people who identify as transgender.

Walsh, who is known for combatting the preposterous dogmas of the left-wing gender-bending movement, contended that Fox is not a conservative media outlet.

"Fox continues to promote radical left wing gender ideology by referring to men as 'she.' This is not even a remotely conservative media outlet. They have long since adopted the most extreme and absurd positions of the left," he tweeted while highlighting an article about transgender woman Dylan Mulvaney that referred to the biological man using female pronouns.

"Mulvaney said that despite the hardships she has faced, she still tries to have 'grace' for her critics," the subtitle of the piece reads.

Examining other articles on the outlet's website reveals a consistent pattern of following the dictates of left-wing gender ideology rather than sticking with pronouns that align with each person's immutable biological sex.

"I don’t think their average 75 year old viewer realizes how pro-trans Fox has become. Someone should really let them know," Walsh added in another tweet.

Robby Starbuck has also called out Fox over the issue.

"Fox News is continuing to use the pronouns that delusional men demand they use," Starbuck tweeted, while sharing a screesnhot from an article on the site. "Notice the framing too that this guy's work was 'all for naught' because World Athletics grew a spine and didn’t let this man cheat by competing against women. What the heck is going on at Fox?"

There has been a groundswell of backlash against Fox News in recent weeks since Tucker Carlson's show was dropped from the channel's lineup.

Carlson has announced plans to launch a show on Twitter. The video in which he made that announcement has racked up 23.8 million views so far.
