Busted: Miami stripper accused of plying patron with tequila, draining $62,000 from PayPal and credit cards

A Florida woman working at a strip club bilked a patron out of more than $62,000 after getting him intoxicated with tequila, according to police.

On June 9, a man visited the Playmates Club in Miami, Florida. While at the gentleman's club, the man paid for private dances from six women, including 34-year-old exotic dancer Yannelin Rivera-Bosaw. While in the private VIP room, the man claimed he was plied with tequila to the point of debilitating intoxication. Detectives said the dancers told the victim that the drinks "were on the house."

WPLG reported, "While the man remained in the VIP seat, Rivera-Bosaw took his wallet and cellphone while he was 'too dizzy' to react as she distracted him by rubbing up against him along with the other women, according to the report."

The alcohol allegedly caused the victim to not be able to stand, and he wasn't able to leave the strip club until 4 a.m.

The man told police that he later realized that there were six transactions withdrawing money from his PayPal account. There were also charges made to his Chase, American Express, and Wells Fargo accounts from Playmates Bar and Grill. In total, $62,345.91 was paid to Playmates Bar and Grill and Triple Vision, which is the LLC name for the strip club, according to the police report. The man claimed that he did not authorize the charges.

The victim told police that Rivera-Bosaw had entered her phone number into his cellphone in order to send herself payments.

Police zeroed in on Rivera-Bosaw as a suspect after her story was inconsistent.

The New York Post reported, "She told detectives that she initiated the transactions, but claimed that the victim authorized them. Skeptical investigators found texts she sent to her husband and a friend complaining that the man had canceled one of her PayPal transfers."

Police said the stripper's cellphone had a text message conversation about selling human growth hormones and anabolic steroids at the Playmates Club.

Rivera-Bosaw was arrested and faces charges of committing an organized scheme to defraud, fraudulent use of a credit card for $100 or more, grand theft, and selling narcotics without a prescription. She was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

North Miami Beach Democrat mayor arrested, charged with 3 counts of felony voter fraud, faces 15 years in prison

The mayor of North Beach Miami in Florida – a Democrat – is facing 15 years in prison after being arrested and charged with voter fraud.

Miami Beach Mayor Anthony DeFillipo was arrested on Wednesday. He has been charged with three felony counts of voter fraud. The charges are third-degree felonies, which each count is punishable with up to five years in prison.

Six months before his arrest, a complaint was filed with the Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics & Public Trust alleging DeFillipo lived in the town of Davie in Broward County. The North Miami Beach city charter requires elected officials to reside in the city.

DeFillipo admitted that he owns a property in Davie, but said it was for his family to live in because he was experiencing marital issues at the time. He insisted that he lives at his property in North Miami Beach. Records show that DeFillipo owns two properties in Davie, which he admitted.

DeFillipo and his wife purchased a six-bedroom home in the Sierra Ranches community in Davie for $1,226,500 in July 2022, according to Broward County property records. He acknowledged that he serves on the homeowners association board for the Davie community.

An investigation into DeFillipo allegedly revealed that the Democrat mayor relocated to his residence in Davie.

Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle accused DeFillipo of driving from Davie to North Miami Beach to cast his vote in three different elections in August, October, and November 2022. Rundle said her office utilized cell phone data to determine that DeFillipo traveled from his property in Davie to vote in a precinct in North Miami Beach, and then returned to his home in Davie.

"We believe the evidence shows (DeFillipo) voted illegally three times," Rundle declared.

Rundle said, "Our voting laws apply to everyone. There are no unwritten exceptions."

DeFillipo has denied the allegations of voter fraud.

DeFillipo's attorney, Michael Pizzi, said his client's arrest is politically motivated.

"The mayor has explained over and over again, and under oath, he always intended to and always lived in North Miami Beach," Pizzi said. "We look forward to a speedy exoneration."

The Miami Herald reported, "A registered Democrat, DeFillipo, 51, served on the city commission for five years before becoming mayor in 2018. A licensed real estate broker, DeFillipo is CEO of TD Managing Enterprise."

DeFillipo is reportedly the third North Miami Beach mayor to be arrested in 11 years.

Video: Naked Florida man attacks people at UFC Gym, random victims on the sidewalk until he is tased by police

Video captured the moment a Florida man stripped naked and then assaulted people at the UFC Gym in Midtown Miami on Tuesday night. The nude assailant was escorted out of the gym, attacked random people on the sidewalk, harassed an elderly man, and was later tased by police.

A man was reportedly attending a boxing class on Tuesday night when he abruptly got naked and then started assaulting other gym patrons.

"The boxing coach said he was a little off, he wasn’t hitting the bag as usual. The member walked his way downstairs and he was just acting very bizarre," UFC Gym assistant general manager Ray Lopez told WTVJ.

The man got into a fight with another gym member – who slammed him against exercise equipment.

Staff at the UFC Gym attempted to restrain the naked man, but he continued to be aggressive. It took several employees to physically escort the naked man out of the gym.

"He was just becoming dangerous, so at that point, the coaches just picked him up and took him out," Lopez explained.

Once outside, the naked man attacked random people on the sidewalk. Video shows the perpetrator running up to someone from behind and punching the person in the back of the head.

The suspect is seen harassing an elderly man in a wheelchair until someone hits him in the head.

The assailant confronts two men near a work truck, then one of the men pushes him to the ground. The shoeless suspect then sprints down the road.

Officers arrived at the crime scene, and the man attempted to open the door of the police SUV.

A police officer tased the man, but he was completely unfazed and continued to advance toward the cop.

Miami Police Department spokesperson Kiara Delva said, "They gave him many commands to stop and comply, which he completely disregarded. Our officer was forced to discharge his Taser, at which point, they were able to place him into custody."

Police officers were finally able to subdue the man, put him in handcuffs, and take him into custody.

The man has not been identified by authorities.

"Completely 100 percent not acceptable. Detectives are still working in the case to determine at one point they can charge accordingly to his actions while he gets the mental evaluation he needs," Delva stated.

Lopez said, "I just hope he gets the mental help he needs to overcome this with whatever he’s going through."

WFLA reported, "Gym officials say his membership has been revoked."
