Teen girl went on date with man, 33, then her dismembered remains were scattered in Milwaukee, family demands justice for Sade Robinson

A teen girl went on a date with a 33-year-old man, and a day later, her dismembered remains were scattered around in Milwaukee. The mother of the murder victim is passionately demanding justice for their slain daughter.

Sade Carleena Robinson went on a date with Maxwell S. Anderson on April 1. A building secretary informed police that Robinson told her on April 1 that she was excited for a date that night.

Robinson's phone records showed that she made plans to meet someone at the Twisted Fisherman restaurant in Milwaukee at 5 p.m.

Restaurant staff told investigators that Robinson dined at the establishment with Anderson – a former employee at the restaurant.

The pair left the restaurant and then went to Duke's on the Water bar around 6:30 p.m.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that the couple went to Anderson's home after 9 p.m.

After 9 p.m., they went to Anderson’s home on the 3100 block of South 39th Street.

Police tracked Robinson's phone to Pleasant Valley Park and then Warnimont Park after midnight until the phone died around 4:30 a.m. Robinson's Honda Civic was set on fire and discovered at 7:32 a.m. on April 2. Law enforcement determined that Anderson's clothing was inside the burnt vehicle.

By utilizing video and witness accounts, investigators concluded that Anderson was the person who set the car on fire. He then allegedly took a bus back to his home.

Around 5:30 p.m. on April 2, police discovered a severed human leg in Warnimont Park.

At approximately 9 p.m. on April 2, a friend reported Robinson missing after she didn't show up for work.

On April 6, police found a human foot that appeared to be from the same body as the severed leg.

In the early morning of April 4, sheriff’s deputies stopped Anderson’s vehicle and arrested him.

On Friday, Anderson was charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilation of a corpse, and arson. His bail was set at $5 million.

Anderson, of Milwaukee, has a criminal history that includes misdemeanor convictions of disorderly conduct and domestic violence across three cases from 2014 to 2019.

Preliminary test results found blood on the severed leg determined that the severed leg belonged to Robinson.

At Friday's court hearing, Assistant District Attorney Ian Vance-Curzan revealed that a significant amount of Robinson's remains have yet to be located. He noted that the suspect appeared to go to "tremendous" lengths to cover up the "abhorrent" murder.

"It's the highest level of violence imaginable," Vance-Curzan proclaimed.

The victim's family is demanding justice for Sade Robinson, and hope that the killer suffers significantly.

Robinson's mother, Sheena Scarbrough, said after the hearing, "Who the (expletive) would do something like this to my beautiful baby? She hurt nobody. She harmed nobody."

According to WDJT-TV, Scarbrough called Robinson's killer a "sick son of a (expletive)."

She said of the killer, "Sick son of a [expletive] hurt my baby. This sick son of a [expletive] is going to pay. This is justice for Sade."

Scarbrough continued, "When he's on the inside, I want you to rape and torture that [expletive] until I get to his ass and haunt him eternally. Torture that [expletive] and rape him. Justice for Sade. Justice will be served for my baby."

Anderson is currently in jail and being held on a $5 million bond.

Sade's uncle, David Scarbrough, said of Robinson, "Sade was more than a person, she was an angel. Not having her right now is very painful."

The uncle added, "We need justice for Sade. Me and my family will never be ok. My sister and parents won't stop shaking, and it ain't because they're nervous. Imagine trying to bury your niece with no body for the service. I need justice for Sade."

The grieving mother added, "Her whole life was so ahead of her. She was so, so amazing. So beautiful, such a beautiful angel. Everywhere she went, people just admired my baby."

Robinson reportedly graduated from high school a semester early. At the time of her death, she was working at Pizza Shuttle in Milwaukee and a month away from earning an associate's degree in criminal justice at Milwaukee Area Technical College. Scarbrough said her daughter was considering pursuing a career in the U.S. Air Force.

Child abuser dies in hail of bullets after allegedly setting his ex-girlfriend on fire and taking police on lengthy chase

Around 11 p.m. on September 2, a truck came to a stop, paralyzed after a failed attempt by its driver to evade police. The three-mile chase through Milwaukee's downtown had reduced at least one of the vehicle's tires to its rims. Ernest Tyrell Blakney, 47, convicted of sexually assaulting a child on August 15, was behind the wheel. He had been on the run for over a week after allegedly killing his ex-girlfriend and torching her house.

Blakney allegedly exited the vehicle and immediately opened fire on police officers. Eight officers with 37 years of experience between them responded, terminating the threat.

In the shootout, a 22-year-old bystander from Hudson, Wisconsin, was struck by an errant bullet. It is presently unclear who fired that shot. She was taken to a hospital and treated for non-life-threatening wounds.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the officers involved in bringing the mayhem to an end have been placed on administrative duty.

Convicted child abuser set free despite warnings and protest

WITI-TV reported that in 2020, Blakney was charged with second-degree sexual assault for having had sex with a child. He was released in 2021 after posting $5,000 cash bail. He ultimately pled guilty and was convicted on August 15. On October 20, he was supposed to stand for sentencing.

Despite Blakney's August 15 conviction and requests from both prosecutor Sam Tufford and the victim's family that he be placed in jail, Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge David Borowski cut the convicted felon loose.

Murder and manhunt

On August 25, Blakney allegedly murdered his ex-girlfriend, 36-year-old Nikia Rogers. He is said to then have set her body and the house in which it lay on fire.

Around 4:30 a.m., the MPD and firefighters were called to the house, which was enveloped in flames. After putting out the fire, first responders found Rogers' body on the second floor.

An autopsy later confirmed that she had been shot twice, once in the head and a second time in the back. Her burned body also showed signs of having been set ablaze with the use of an accelerant, such as that found in the container of lighter fluid discovered by police near her body.

Although Rogers allegedly lived with Blakney, she had become "reacquainted" with another man. That man told investigators that on the night of the fire, he received a message from Rogers' home phone: "You should have left her alone ... She dead."

Using information provided by a number of witnesses — one of whom claimed to have seen a blood-soused Blakney armed with a gun and another who said the suspect indicated he would burn his tractor-trailers — police searched a wooded area nearby the torched house. There they found Rogers' SUV abandoned in a field.

Blakney had, however, found a new set of wheels.

According to a criminal complaint, Blakney had come across a man (identified as KMG) repairing a bulldozer at a construction site, not far from where he had abandoned Rogers' car. Brandishing his firearm, Blakney allegedly stole KMG's car keys and forced him inside a trailer.

After locking KMG in the trailer, Blakney is said to have stolen KMG's truck.

KMG later broke free and called police.

Blakney remained at large for over a week and faced the following charges:

  • First-degree reckless homicide;
  • Armed robbery;
  • False imprisonment;
  • Attempted mutilating a corpse;
  • Possession of a firearm by a felon; and
  • Felony bail jumping.

At 10:50 p.m. on September 2, police identified the stolen vehicle. They attempted a traffic stop, and when Blakney allegedly refused to stop, officers gave chase.

Blakney died of his injuries.

Video shows harrowing moment Milwaukee man opens fire inside police station

Police in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, recently released video footage of the moment a distressed man opened fire in the lobby of the police department's District 5 station earlier this year.

What happened?

The suspect, 23-year-old Darreon Parker-Bell, reportedly spoke with officers briefly before pulling out a gun and beginning to fire shots and officers and other staff with members of the community nearby. Amazingly, no one was injured in the initial shooting.

Parker-Bell then fled the scene on foot with officers chasing behind him. Roughly two blocks down the road, he encountered more police officers who repeatedly asked him to put down his weapon and surrender. When he refused and allegedly pointed a gun toward them, they opened fire, striking him multiple times and injuring him.

Officers treated him on the scene before he was transported to the hospital.

Parker-Bell has since been arrested and charged with eight counts, including attempted first-degree intentional homicide, WITI-TV reported. He is also being held on a $500,000 bond.

Milwaukee Police Department - Community Briefing February 25, 2022, Officer Involved Shooting www.youtube.com

What's the background?

The incident occurred on Feb. 25. Parker-Bell had reportedly come to the station to inquire about the in-custody death of his friend, 20-year-old Keishon D. Thomas, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Thomas had been pulled over and taken into custody on Feb. 23 after officers discovered there was a warrant out for his arrest for failing to appear at a court hearing in 2021. Roughly 16 hours later, Thomas died in his holding cell despite life-saving efforts from officers.

Police believe that Thomas ingested a fatal dose of an unidentified white substance during the traffic stop. Officers said he refused to go to the hospital so they placed him in a cell. The three officers who were involved have been placed on full suspension pending toxicology reports.

What else?

Speaking with the Journal-Sentinel following the incident, Parker-Bell's former girlfriend, Angel Harrell, said he reached a "breaking point" after Thomas' death.

She added that her partner of two years was devastated by the deaths of at least three relatives over the past year and had started making statements that she interpreted as suicidal.

"I’m not saying that he did right, because I’m very angry with how he handled it, but he wasn’t in the right state of mind," Harrell explained. "He wasn’t. He couldn’t keep taking that heartbreak."
