Lil Nas X says 'SNL' is 'going to hell' after sketch portrays rapper lap dancing for God ahead of Easter

Rapper Lil Nas X jokes that "Saturday Night Live" is "going to hell" after one of its skits featured a likeness of the rapper lap dancing for God.

What are the details?

During Saturday night's opening skit, comedian Chris Redd appeared as a portrayal of Lil Nas X and discussed the ensuing controversy after the release of his highly controversial new music video, "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)."

In the music video, the rapper — whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill — can be seen making out with a half-man, half-snake. Elsewhere he can be seen sliding down a stripper pole from heaven into hell, where he presents Satan himself with a lap dance. The rapper has also been under fire for his "Satan Shoes" — an authorized design built on a pair of Nikes, and which features a drop of human blood, a pentagram pendant, and the number "666." Nike has filed a lawsuit in an attempt to stop the shoes' distribution.

During the Saturday skit, Redd addressed the outraged caused by his new video.

Comedian Chloe Fineman — portraying pop star Britney Spears hosting a fictional talk show — introduced Redd's character as one of the "social pariahs of the week," and said that experienced being "attacked by the rare combo of the Catholic Church and Nike."

When asked about the controversy around the shoes, Redd's Lil Nas X said, "I don't know why Nike is so mad. Their whole thing is 'Just do it.' Well, I did it."

Fineman's Spears went on to address the frenzy following the rapper's music video.

"Why are they so upset?" she asked.

Redd responded, "[Because they are] closed-minded idiots. People are afraid of me because I'm different, but really I'm just your typical gay black country rap sneaker entrepreneur."

Fineman added, "What would you say to the religious folks who are mad that you gave Satan a lap dance?"

Redd explained that it wasn't "the real Satan" in the video.

"[T]he real Satan doesn't do, like, music videos, so maybe chill," he added.

Fineman responded, "Would you be willing to give a lap dance to God, just to even things out?"

Redd agreed, and Fineman bought out "God," portrayed by comedian Mikey Day.

After Redd performed the lap dance, Fineman cheered and said, "Wow! Happy Easter everyone!"

Late Saturday night, Lil Nas X himself tweeted about the sketch and said, "snl going to hell."

Lil Nas X blames 'crying nerds' for getting his Satan Shoes 'cancelled'

Lil Nas X was not happy after a judge ruled against him in Nike's lawsuit to block the rapper's "Satan Shoes," and he let the world know about it Thursday.

And he knew just whom to blame: "crying nerds on the internet."

What happened?

A judge granted Nike's request for a temporary restraining order Thursday after the Lil Nas and Brooklyn-based company MSCHF sold 666 pairs of Nike Air Max 97s as "Satan Shoes," complete with pentagram, a Bible verse about Satan, and 60cc of red ink and a drop of human blood in the heel's air bubble. The shoes, which retailed for $1,018, went on sale Monday and were sold out within minutes.

Nike sued for copyright infringement and dilution of their brand, saying it did "not approve or authorize MSCHF's customized Satan Shoes."

"Moreover, MSCHF and its unauthorized Satan Shoes are likely to cause confusion and dilution and create an erroneous association between MSCHF's products and Nike," the suit said. "In fact, there is already evidence of significant confusion and dilution occurring in the marketplace, including calls to boycott Nike in response to the launch of MSCHF's Satan Shoes based on the mistaken belief that Nike has authorized or approved this product."

The shoe-brand's lawsuit came after calls from people across the internet decrying the rapper's shoes and associated obscene video.

Following the judge's ruling, Lil Nas, who's real name is Montero Lamar Hill, came out swinging Thursday night, blaming "crying nerds" for stopping him from distributing his shoes.

"sorry guys i'm legally not allowed to give the 666th pair away anymore because of the crying nerds on the internet," he tweeted.

He followed that accusation with another tweet bemoaning the crying nerds' power to get his shoes "cancelled."

"I haven't been upset until today, i feel like it's f***ed up they have so much power they can get shoes cancelled," he wrote. "freedom of expression gone out the window. but that's gonna change soon."

Nike sues over 'Satan Shoes' modified for Lil Nas X with a drop of human blood

The Nike shoe company filed a lawsuit Monday against a designer that modified their shoes for a controversial satanism-inspired promotion for the rapper Lil Nas X.

The limited edition design by Brooklyn-based company MSCHF was created around pairs of Nike Air Max 97s, but Nike is suing for copyright infringement and dilution of their brand. Only 666 were created.

"Nike has not and does not approve or authorize MSCHF's customized Satan Shoes," the complaint from the company said. "Moreover, MSCHF and its unauthorized Satan Shoes are likely to cause confusion and dilution and create an erroneous association between MSCHF's products and Nike. In fact, there is already evidence of significant confusion and dilution occurring in the marketplace, including calls to boycott Nike in response to the launch of MSCHF's Satan Shoes based on the mistaken belief that Nike has authorized or approved this product."

The shoes were reportedly sold out in less than a minute, despite carrying a hefty price tag of $1,018 per pair.

The satanic design includes a pentagram, a citation for a Bible verse that refers to satan, and reportedly includes a drop of blood in the soles of the shoes. It was created as a part of the release of a very controversial video for the rapper's latest song that includes scenes of the rapper riding a stripper pole to hell in order to seduce the devil.

Critics lashed out at Lil Nas X, but he remained defiant and mocked many of his detractors on social media.

Nike previously disavowed any part in the release of the shoes.

"We do not have a relationship with Little Nas X or MSCHF," Nike said in a statement. "Nike did not design or release these shoes and we do not endorse them."

The rapper made light of the lawsuit by posting a meme of a cartoon character begging for change.

Rapper Lil Nas X releases 'Satan shoes' with human blood in it, stars in music video giving lap dance to the Devil

Rapper Lil Nas X is attempting to drum up publicity by releasing controversy-inducing Satanic-themed sneakers and a new music video where he gets sexual with Lucifer.

Lil Nas X partnered with MSCHF, a Brooklyn-based creative arts company, to create "Satan Shoes." The demonic sneakers are a pair of Nike Air Max 97, which normally retail around $170, but the air bubble is filled with 60cc of red ink and a drop of human blood. The sneakers also have the number "666," and will be a limited edition release of 666 pairs.

The sneaker references Luke 10:18-20 from the Bible, which reads: "He replied, 'I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.'"

The MSCHF x Lil Nas X Satan Shoes will go on sale on March 29, at a price of $1,018.

Lil Nas X also featured Satanic imagery in his new music video for the song "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)" — a reference to his real name, Montero Lamar Hill. In the music video set in a Garden of Eden-like world, the openly gay rapper makes out with a half-man/half-snake, nearly ascends to heaven, but instead slides down a stripper pole that leads him straight to hell. Lil Nas X then visits Satan, gives him a very sexual lap dance, then kills the Devil by snapping his neck, and puts Lucifer's crown on his own head.

The music video has over 13.5 million views in 24 hours on YouTube. Despite having highly sexualized themes and violence, there is no age restriction on the YouTube video. Political commentary videos from BlazeTV's "Lowder with Crowder" have been slapped with age restrictions.

There was blowback to the intentionally incendiary imagery in the music video. Hill defended his music video by pivoting to gun violence and tweeting, "There is a mass shooting every week that our government does nothing to stop. me sliding down a cgi pole isn't what's destroying society."

Many commenters pointed out that Lil Nas X became famous from his song "Old Town Road," which was beloved by children of all ages. One Twitter user shared a video of Lil Nas X singing his 2019 smash hit to young children at Lander Elementary School in Ohio, to which Hill responded, "I made the decision to create the music video. i am an adult. i am not gonna spend my entire career trying to cater to your children. that is your job."

However, an NPR article from January titled "Lil Nas X Says Children Are His Core Audience Right Now, And That's OK," states: "Lil Nas X says he isn't particularly self-conscious about his extremely young fan base."

"I'm well aware that life and careers and everything goes in chapters," Hill says. "That's the chapter I'm in right now and I'm OK with that."

In January, Lil Nas X released a children's book titled "C is for Country." which is intended for kids age 3-7.

Last May, Lil Nas X appeared on Sesame Street.

Rapper tells fan who thinks she's pregnant to 'get rid' of unborn baby. Pro-life advocacy group steps in and shares a bit of reality.

Rapper and entertainer Lil Nas X told a fan who made a possible pregnancy announcement that they should "get rid" of the unborn child.

Live Action, a pro-life advocacy group, took note of the rapper's remarks and took him to task on social media.

The rapper — real name Montero Lamar Hill — responded with a brush-off, but the nonprofit organization saved the best response for last.

What are the details?

According to LiveAction.org, a fan during a live Instagram chat told the rapper, "I think I'm pregnant."

Hill responded with what appeared to be a distasteful attempt at a joke and said, "Congratulations! Get rid of it."

What else?

Live Action reported on Hill's remarks Wednesday, writing, "BREAKING: Rapper [Lil Nas X] known for his song 'Old Town Road' tells his pregnant fan to kill her baby — 'Congratulations! get rid of it.'"Hill took the outlet to task over the story and responded, "No one cares, ratio," and shared, instead, the video for his new single, "Holiday."

Live Action had the last word, however.

In a scathing response, Live Action's Twitter wrote, "Tens of millions of Americans DO CARE that 2,400 babies are being murdered every day."

The group then took the opportunity to expound on the sanctity of life and shared a link to 10 images victims of second-trimester abortions.

The article, titled "These 10 images may change your mind about abortion," features graphic images of babies aborted during their mother's second trimester.

A portion of the article states, "The children in these photographs were aborted at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in the early 1980s. They were eventually smuggled out of the pathology lab there, given to Citizens for a Pro-life Society, and provided proper burials."

Horowitz: Republicans decide to take a knee and wash Pelosi’s feet

Democrats and the media demand that Republicans kneel and wash Pelosi’s feet. The GOP response? “How low and how much water to use?”

The problem conservatives have had with their misfit political party for decades is that the Republicans merely serve as the rear end of the Democrats. They immediately follow wherever the Democrats go and promote whatever issue they are propagating.

One man has been killed by police in what certainly appears to be a murderous act. Justice has been swifter than we’ve ever seen against any citizen, cop or otherwise, accused of murder. There is zero evidence that race had anything to do with the motivation of those cops, two of whom were not white and one of whom says he did work with Somali refugees.

Dozens have been killed and wounded by the rioters. They are blocking traffic and destroying businesses and sections of cities, and crime is spiking across the nation. Which problem is more systemic and demanding of a legislative fix – George Floyd’s death or the response to Floyd’s death and the months’ worth of jailbreak policies that have fueled the rioting through release of career criminals?

One would expect Republicans to push an agenda addressing the spike in crime and the takeover of our streets with as much passion as Democrats are pushing legislation to try to relitigate the Civil War and make an entire generation guilty for one act of police brutality. At the core, this is why Trump was elected – to stop the vicious cycle of GOP kneeling and genuflecting to the Left.

In comes Jared Kushner, who is dispatched to meet with Sen. Tim Scott, an ardent proponent of jailbreak policies, to create federalized standards on policing. The “Republican alternative” to Pelosi’s anti-policing bill, if you will. While fake-fighting the straw man and impossible idea of defunding the police, Republicans are essentially agreeing to most everything leading up to that, when we need to be tougher, not weaker, on crime.

McConnell said yesterday, following a Senate GOP lunch, “Absolutely, I think it’s important to have a response.” “None of us have had the experience of being an African American in this country and dealing with this discrimination,” McConnell said. “The best way for the Senate Republicans to go forward on this is to listen to one of our own. He’s had these experiences; he’s had them since he’s been in the United States Senate.”

“I’ve asked Sen. Tim Scott to lead a group that is working on a proposal to allow us to respond to the obvious racial discrimination that we’ve seen on full display on our television screens over the last two weeks — and what is the appropriate response by the federal government,” McConnell (R-Ky.) said.

So now Republicans believe in the blood libel too?

Where is the GOP narrative on inner cities becoming war zones, with dead black citizens every day thanks to the lack of deterrent and a hands-off approach by police?

Where is the GOP agenda to reopen our roads from the violent takeovers of the BLM movement still taking place across our cities and even on interstate highways?

Where is the GOP agenda to deal with the black businesses that have been destroyed by the lockdown and now by the rioting, along with the long-term effects on minority communities?

Where is the GOP agenda to deal with the already-existing trend reversing over 20 years of gains against violent crime?

Why does the mob rule? Why do violence and crime pay? Does the silent and silenced majority of this country need to follow suit to have our needs addressed?

Republicans are now to the left of where Democrats were just a few years ago. They are now championing the narrative of the NYT’s 1619 Project to suddenly suggest that this generation of Americans is responsible for sins of the past that have long since been rectified. A premise that was conceived this year as a fringe alt-left idea has now gone mainstream in the Republican Party.

What is the GOP exit strategy? They are now using a single homicide by a police officer (amid exponentially more killings of cops and other citizens by career criminals) as a pretext to remake America, infringe upon the freedom of speech and freedom of movement, create a cancel and book-burning culture, and demand we all sacrifice our security. If Republicans think they can kneel their way out of this, they should just move to a Wuhan wet market. There is no end to a blood libel like this. The more they feed the rapacious beast, the more they will validate and legitimize this injustice.

But alas, this is the purpose of the GOP – to validate the narrative of the Left with a “conservative version” of their destruction of the day. Watch for them to do the same thing with immigration the minute the Supreme Court, in all likelihood, says DACA was unlawful. They refuse to address the needs of Americans with legislation reducing immigration during such a period of high unemployment, deporting criminal aliens, and getting rid of sanctuary cities. Yet the minute that decision comes out, they will interrupt even their kneeling to the race hustlers and pro-criminal lobby to pass an amnesty bill even before a “hamstring the police” bill.

We are simultaneously suffering from the tyranny of the soft lockdown and the anarchy of the rioting – both rooted in false premises and disproportionate “systemic” responses to specific events. If the Republicans can’t provide a bold contrast and a different path on either of these issues, what exactly is the purpose of their existence?

Horowitz: As murder skyrockets and criminals are released in Chicago, mayor threatens political dissenters with arrest

This juxtaposition of perversion is probably the most powerful display of the America we knew and loved being turned upside down beyond the worst nightmares of our early founders.

"We will shut you down, we will cite you, and if we need to, we will arrest you," announced Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot in a public address on Saturday. "Don’t make us treat you like a criminal, but if you act like a criminal and you violate the law and you refuse to do what is necessary to save lives in the city in the middle of a pandemic, we will take you to jail. Period."

How many of us have longed for the moment when big-city mayors would finally get tough on crime again and restore ordered liberty in our communities! But this errant mayor is finally discovering her “law and order” moxie to support unconstitutional edicts that violate the Bill of Rights and interstate commerce.

As you review the unprecedented words of this wayward mayor, now ponder the following reality. Illinois has released 4,000 prisoners, including 64 murderers and child sex offenders, under the faulty science of stopping a viral spread. Chicago is also notorious for releasing the worst criminal aliens imaginable and infamous for releasing gang-bangers and gun felons who violate their parole. Yet that same faulty science is leading to policies of arresting political dissenters who are fighting unconstitutional house arrest edicts.

Murderers released, everyday Americans placed under house arrest and threatened with jail time!

What are the results? In one of the most unreported stories in the country right now, murders have skyrocketed in Chicago even though everything is shut down. While some places are experiencing almost no crime (as one would expect with a panicked lockdown), Chicago murders are tracking ahead of this time last year, and there have been 73 more shooting victims than last year. Again, that is simply astounding given than almost a quarter of the year so far has been spent on lockdown.

So, what it is going to be, Mayor Lightfoot? If you rob someone with a mask, you are free to go, but if you take off the mask, then it’s OK to arrest the dangerous criminal? Perhaps he is not a danger to the community so long as he pulls his gun out six feet away from the victim?

It’s funny how these same blue-city politicians are justifying violating the Constitution under the premise of “if it only saves one life,” it’s worth it. For example, the police department of Elizabeth, New Jersey, comically produced drone footage of spying on the city while at the same time saying they are not spying on the city, yet ultimately justifying it as being worthwhile “if this plan saves one life.”

Well, what about the lives lost because of coronavirus jailbreak, which in itself was supposedly orchestrated to save lives? In Boston, the police commissioner believes these criminal releases are sending the message to criminals that it’s open season on our streets.

"Just last week, a known gang member, carrying a firearm, firing a firearm, home invasion — released. When you do things like that, it sets a mentality on these streets that people can do what they want," said Boston Police Commissioner William Gross after a weekend of violence. "This is unacceptable. People who have been locked up for violent offenses and carrying a firearm should not be released on personals, and I could care less if they get sick in jail or not."

In Cincinnati, murder is up 115% and robbery is up 31% relative to this time last year. That’s a lot of lives lost due to the jailbreak and misallocation of police resources to “save lives” from coronavirus.

The criminals know that the politicians are only focused on clamping down on peaceful, law-abiding Americans and their civil rights. As such, just how nonexistent is the deterrent?

  • Last Tuesday, one career criminal in Orange County, California, was arrested three times for theft and was released each time … all within 12 hours!
  • Last month, Orange County Court Commissioner Joseph Dane released seven high-risk sex offenders, including Rudy William Grajeda Magdaleno, 39. According to Breitbart, he had been previously convicted for sexually assaulting a special-needs woman, masturbating in public at a Santa Ana law firm, and breaking into the home of an 11-year-old girl while he was naked. Just three weeks later he was arrested again for indecent exposure.
  • In March, Matthew Parris, a teaching assistant in Raynham, Massachusetts, was charged with raping two children in the schools where he worked. He was deemed so dangerous by the judge that he was held without bond. He has since been released under coronavirus jailbreak, even though, at age 29, he is more likely to be struck by lightening than to die of the virus.
  • In Philadelphia, after city officials publicly announced they wouldn’t arrest burglars during the shutdown, merchants who are crushed by the shutdown are dealing with a rash of shoplifting. "People are coming in the store, they're loading their bag and they're actually telling us the law, that they're not gonna get locked up," said one merchant to ABC6. "It's a lawless city, it's the Wild West. That's what's happening here," said another.

The message has gone out loud and clear to criminals that the only “high-level” crime in the eyes of our government at this point is defying illegal orders restricting civil liberty and opening a business. If you loot the business, you are good to go, especially if you were wearing a mask during the act.

Governments are instituted to protect the rights of the citizens through ordered liberty. Protecting us against criminals is the core reason we have government. Now that government has released these people and turned their guns on us, this is no longer a legitimate government. The inmates are running the asylum; the criminals are running the government.

Perhaps its time to end the lockdown of our society, lock up the real criminals, and throw out the criminal politicians.

Democrats lying that lower refunds mean taxes went UP

It’s really hard to find a way to criticize the fact that the government is taking less of people’s hard-earned money, but Democrats are trying their hardest, even if it means outright lying to do it.

Last week, 2020 presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., took to social media to claim that because the “average tax refund is down about $170 compared to last year,” the tax cuts are really “a middle-class tax hike to line the pockets of already wealthy corporations and the 1%.”

Surprisingly, Harris actually got called out by the fact-checkers at the Washington Post, who actually gave her statement a four-Pinocchio rating. WaPo fact checker Glenn Kessler called the statistic Harris quoted “a non sequitur that turns out to be nonsensical and misleading.” Bottom line: When tax refunds go down, that could mean taxes went up or down, which is what happened this year.

However, that hasn’t stopped other Democrats from trying to use the talking point to trash the tax cuts.

Here are the facts of the matter:

  • A Tax Policy Center report found that “80 percent of taxpayers would receive a tax cut  … averaging about $2,100,” while around five percent would see an increase.
  • With the new tax laws in place, the IRS updated its withholding tables at the beginning of last year. This means that a lot people who owed less in taxes kept more of their own paychecks up front and that there’s less overpay for the government to return. Let’s not forget, that’s what a tax refund is: an overpay.
  • The size of one’s tax refund or the amount of taxes owed at tax time has nothing to do with how much someone actually pays in taxes. If you’re dealing with some tax-time sticker shock, you might want to check on your withholding. The IRS has a free withholding calculator to help you figure out how much you should have taken out of each paycheck.
  • Tax refunds are what happens when people overpay all year and get their own money back without interest. The fact that a lot of people being surprised by the balance either owed or refunded from the IRS every year does not make the GOP tax cuts a nefarious scam.

But a cardinal rule of politics is never to let facts get in the way of a salacious talking point.
