Blaze News original: 10 disgusting, shameful examples of the militant left exacting its will against those in its way

What's the limit of the militant left's violence, bullying, and fascism? It's not likely we've seen its ceiling yet.

Blaze News has covered the awful behavior of the militant left for as long as it's been publishing stories, and it doesn't appear it's going anywhere fast.

'Off our streets Nazi scum! Off our streets Nazi scum!'

As the 2024 presidential election approaches, it's wise to remind ourselves how destructive and dangerous militant leftists can be as we keep trying to get people in office who will stand up to them. In this collection of vignettes, we revisit 10 times the militant left has crossed way over the line.

One of the worst was when a violent leftist mob was caught on a viral video following, converging upon, and threatening Republican U.S. Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky and his wife on a Washington, D.C., street after the 2020 Republican National Convention. "They were yelling threats. They were trying to push the police over to get to me. They were grabbing at us, and it got worse and worse and worse," Paul told Fox News the following day.

Then, there was the viral moment when Antifa members were caught on video screaming at a tiny, white-haired woman using a walker, "Off our streets Nazi scum!" and blocking her path in a crosswalk outside a conservative event ... and the time when an unhinged leftist was caught on video screaming high-pitched orders at motorists in the middle of a road, "Do black lives matter to you?!" One woman doesn't answer correctly — and things get scary.

Remember the shameful moment when two out-of-their-minds females got caught on video ripping up signs supporting then-President Donald Trump and stealing a red "Make America Great Again" hat while a 7-year-old boy cried and chased after them with his mother?

It may be that the depths to which the militant left will sink knows no bounds. If that's true, we're in for an even bumpier ride for the foreseeable future.

Violent leftist mob caught on video following, converging upon Rand Paul, wife on D.C. street after 2020 RNC: 'They were yelling threats. ... They were grabbing at us, and it got worse and worse and worse'

A violent leftist mob was caught on video chasing and converging upon Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and his wife on a Washington, D.C., street after the 2020 Republican National Convention outside the White House.

Viral video caught the throng of shouting, pushing protesters harassing Paul and his wife as police tried to protect them. The next morning, Paul shared more about what happened: "Just got attacked by an angry mob of over 100, one block away from the White House. Thank you to @DCPoliceDept for literally saving our lives from a crazed mob."

Several officers can be heard hollering to the mob to move back as they yell back, "Say her name!" in reference to the Louisville police killing of Breonna Taylor. One officer can be seen trying to push back demonstrators with a bicycle, but the mob surges toward the officer, and Paul grabs the officer's arm to prevent him from falling.

In an interview the next day, Paul told Fox News, "They were yelling threats. They were trying to push the police over to get to me. They were grabbing at us, and it got worse and worse and worse."

Rep. Brian Mast (R-Fla.) said he also was harassed on a D.C. street following the RNC. Mast, a veteran who lost both legs during a 2010 Afghanistan tour, shared video of his encounter and added: "They thought I would be an easy target because my prosthetics move slowly. They were wrong."

In the clip, a small, white woman with pigtails angrily asks Mast, "How do you feel about police killing black people in this country?" As she and others in the mob get closer to Mast's face, she orders Mast to "answer the question I am asking you!" Mast attempts to answer the question several times, but she grows increasingly loud and continues repeating the question — this time with hand gestures to hammer home her demand. At this point, Mast is completely surrounded by demonstrators who are growing increasingly agitated.

Antifa members scream at tiny, white-haired woman using walker, 'Off our streets Nazi scum!' and blocking her path in crosswalk outside conservative event

Masked left-wing protesters identified as Antifa were caught on video screaming at a tiny, white-haired woman with a walker, "Off our streets Nazi scum! Off our streets Nazi scum!" outside a conservative event at a Canadian college on the evening of Sept. 29, 2019.

As they blocked the elderly woman's path in a crosswalk, an elderly man accompanying her shot back a retort to the mob, after which one protester screamed at him, "Don't f***ing touch me! Don't f***ing touch me!"

You can view video here of the jaw-dropping actions.

A crowd of about 100 protesters against the event at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario, stood outside with signs advocating for immigrant rights and yelling chants denouncing those entering, comparing them to Nazis and neo-Nazis, the CBC reported.

Supporters of the People's Party — some wearing "Make America Great Again" hats, the iconic symbol of President Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign — stood behind police and engaged with protesters for about an hour.

A scuffle broke out in the crowd, and police led away in handcuffs two men from opposing sides of the protests, the CBC reported. There were four arrests for "breach of the peace," Hamilton police told the outlet, adding that all were later released without conditions.

Leftist Alyssa Milano suggests she's proud of unhinged shoppers who drove woman from supermarket for not wearing COVID mask — and the activist actress gets pulverized for it

Left-winger Alyssa Milano — the mostly activist and sometimes actress — started off her eventful 2020 Memorial Day weekend with a viral, virtue-signaling declaration showing her crocheted COVID face mask and encouraging others to post similar photos. After Milano got mocked into oblivion for her mask's relatively large holes, she lashed out at her critics, calling them "assholes" and then saying her mask "has a filter in it for f***'s sake." Uh, charming.

Milano was nothing if not on a roll, hopping back on social media on Memorial Day to seemingly praise a mob of shoppers who cursed out and drove off a woman from a supermarket for not wearing a COVID mask: "Never been prouder of growing up in Staten Island," she wrote in reference to the viral video.

As you'd expect, plenty of leftists support Milano's tireless activism on their behalf, and they showed it with comments in support for her post. But others blasted her.

  • "You're the most Un-American person I have ever encountered Alyssa. Your failures in life are well deserved."
  • "You're proud of this behavior???"
  • "I started loving you decades ago, but it has been harder & harder to support you as the years go by. I ABSOLUTELY agree with wearing masks, but the fact that you condone & support this type of behavior is horrible. Instead of growing up you seem to be more childish all the time."
  • "The people yelling with masks are likely spreading more virus than a silent maskless person."
  • "Oh .... you like bullies??"
  • "Reread '1984,' or probably for the first time."
  • "Yes, let's encourage people to become angry mobs. OR, someone could have gone over to an employee and asked they speak to the customer without the mask. OR, if the store doesn't have a policy of requiring masks, the screaming lunatics should shop somewhere else. But, you do you."
  • "Proud?!? Treating people like that is disgusting."
  • "Yeah because Mob Rule is the best!"

Regarding the video in question, a number of customers began screaming demands at the maskless woman such as "Get the f*** out of here!" and pointing to the store's exit while others were heard hollering, "Get out!" and calling her a "dirty ass pig!" The woman reportedly left the store.

A spokesperson for ShopRite — where the incident took place — told CBS News in a statement Monday that store management reported it to authorities. ShopRite added to the network that customers who notice others without face coverings should tell customer service instead of taking matters into their own hands.

Unhinged leftist screams at motorists in middle of road, 'Do black lives matter to you?!' One woman doesn't answer correctly — and things get scary.

George Floyd protesters were caught on an absolutely insane video descending upon a Maryland street near Interstate 270 in early June 2020 — and one unhinged, ultra-confrontational leftist took it upon herself to scream a question at passing cars: "Do black lives matter to you?!"

One motorist seemed all in and answered affirmatively with his fist raised, so the self-appointed toll booth collector let the driver pass. But one woman made the mistake of completely ignoring the protester's screamed question as she passed by, after which the leftist in a high-pitched holler called her a "f***in' white piece of s**t!" and a "bitch!" — and even appeared to challenge her to a fight: "Oh yeah?! You wanna f***in' go, Karen?!"

Arriving at the driver's window, the protester screamed, "Until black lives matter, no lives matter!" The driver made a reference to people of different colors, presumably as a way of communicating that all people are equal and then said to get out of her way. But the screaming protester wasn't having it, hollered back at the woman, then stood in front of her vehicle. Then things got a little scarier.

Other protesters joined in the fray and began assembling near the vehicle; "She ain't goin' nowhere" a male declared as a protester banged on the hood of the woman's SUV.

Either frightened, angry, or both, the driver leaned into her horn for a spell — but it was no use: "Whatcha gonna do?" the same man apparently repeats. "You're not goin' nowhere."

Check out the video here.

As you might imagine, social users weren't happy with the protesters' tactics, and some made it clear how they would respond if in the same situation:

  • "Yep... I'd have pulled out my 357 mag."
  • "They closed a lot of mental hospitals in the 70's and 80's. We could use them again now. If standing in traffic and screeching accusations at people you've never met isn't nuts, I'm not sure what is."
  • "This is terrorism."
  • "They don't even know they are the fascists."
  • "All the more reason to carry."
  • "A new cult rises."
  • "I would have backed up and come at them full speed."

Leftist thug backed by violent mob punches man after cornering him on DC street on election night 2020 — then it's an Antifa gang-up special before victim escapes with bleeding head

On election night 2020 in Washington, D.C., the usual leftist suspects decked out in Antifa garb surprised no one as they tried to cause as much unrest as possible. But one scene in particular attracted a fair amount of attention on social media.

Cell phone video captured a large crowd of leftists filling a street and most of a sidewalk at Black Lives Matter Plaza when a bearded man wearing a white shirt and dark jacket tried to pass by — but a hooded individual pressed up to the man and wouldn't let him pass.

It isn't clear what — if anything — the leftist asked, but it appeared as though the smiling, bearded man simply wanted to proceed down the sidewalk with as little trouble as possible, and it seemed like he nodded and said something that ended with "lives matter."

With that, the leftist fired a lightning-fast punch to the man's face. The victim tried going after his attacker, but one of the leftist's comrades descended upon and briefly wrestled with the victim — yet the bearded man still managed to land a couple of punches upon his second opponent. Soon several other leftists in typical leftist fashion ganged up on the victim — including one who appeared to hit him with what looked like a bat, and upon impact it seemed to resonate with a metallic "plink." Somehow the victim got up and quickly walked away.

Soon the victim was seen walking down a street with the assistance of another man who managed to keep at bay the leftist gang that apparently followed from the attack site. Brendan Gutenschwager, the journalist who captured the action, said the victim's head was bleeding. The victim remarked that he was hit in the head with a glass bottle as he and the man who helped him eventually arrived to the safety of a police line.

Amid such intense racial strife dominating the headlines, it was powerful to see a black man standing up and helping the injured white victim. This man then confronted the leftist mob by emphasizing in no uncertain terms that the victim is "a human being."

"Y'all think this s**t is cute?" he told them. "That man has rights just like everybody else. And throwing s**t at somebody doesn't solve the problem. The election is going on."

Pair of leftist females caught on video ripping up pro-Trump signs, stealing MAGA hat while 7-year-old cries are indicted on hate crime charges

The two Delaware females who were caught on video ripping up signs supporting then-President Donald Trump and stealing a red "Make America Great Again" hat while a 7-year-old boy cried and chased after them soon after were indicted on hate crime charges.

Olivia Winslow and Camryn Amy — both 21 and from Wilmington — on Sept. 8, 2020, were indicted by a New Castle County grand jury on charges of second-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree assault, attempted third-degree assault, offensive touching, and felony hate crimes, Delaware Online reported.

Three of the seven charges are felonies and collectively are punishable by 15 years in prison, the outlet said, adding that the hate crime charges could lead to the most prison time. Winslow and Amy were released on bail, a spokesman for Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings told Delaware Online. The outlet said it's unclear when they are to be arraigned.

The cell phone video — recorded Aug. 20 near the venue for the virtual Democratic National Convention — shows two females harassing a mother and her young son. The females ripped pro-Trump signs and stole a MAGA hat sitting near the boy, whose mother recorded the altercation. The boy can be seen running after the females and saying, "That's somebody else's hat!" Soon he starts crying. The mom and son followed the females through a parking lot as things heated up.

At one point, the boy sees another hat on the ground, and when he goes to retrieve it, one of the females actually appears to stomp her foot to prevent him from picking it up. The video doesn't show whether she makes contact with the boy's hand. But when a man the mom apparently knows attempts to intervene, the same female appears to hit him in the face. Soon she tosses the stolen hat over the fence. The other female then throws part of a ripped sign over a fence as well. The same female who appeared to hit the man in the face and stomped her foot near the boy's hand went after the mom, as the camera seems to show the female taking a swipe at her. Soon the clip ends.

As you can probably guess, the court dealt with them leniently. While they were sentenced later in September on misdemeanor charges of theft, child endangerment, and hate crimes, Delaware Online reported that neither of them would go to jail. Instead, Judge Francis J. Jones agreed to the prosecutors' recommendation to sentence the pair to multiple counts of conditional probation.

Left-wing, bullying rioters splash paint on elderly woman, get in her face when she stands up to their police precinct attack: 'This isn't your world anymore!'

On the 70th night of left-wing protests in Portland, Oregon, over the summer of 2020, rioters decked out in dark clothing and helmets attacked the East Precinct of the city's police on Aug. 6. Amid the rioting and vandalism at the precinct, KOIN-TV reported that officers were hit with projectiles that included glass bottles and rocks — and cops said one officer was severely injured after taking a large rock to the shoulder.

In the middle of all that, the station said an elderly woman who said she lives in the neighborhood pleaded with the group to stop the vandalism and stood in the way of those who were splashing paint on the plywood outside the building.

Then, they actually splashed paint on her, too, KOIN noted. But instead of realizing how far out of hand they'd gotten, the violent left-wingers started yelling at the elderly woman: "This isn't your world anymore!"

When she began yelling back at the rioters, one of them walked over with yellow crime-scene tape and placed it on her before wrapping it around her head

After the elderly woman hollered at the crowd that "we died for you!" the same leftist who wrapped the crime-scene tape around her head — and towers over her by a foot — rushed back and got in her face, leaned down, and yelled at her. It's not clear exactly what either of them said, but the elderly woman appeared to tell the rioter that she took part in marching. A female rioter was heard yelling at the elderly woman, "Put your mask on, bitch! Put your mask on!" Check out the clip here.

The rioters doubled down on their tactics against elderly women at the precinct after noticing one — using a walker, no less — was in the process of trying to extinguish a fire in a trash can. But Antifa is nothing if not thorough. KOIN noted that the woman "was blocked by a person dressed in all black."

Comrades of the courageous leftist blocking the woman were heard off camera laughing at and mocking her with one finally saying, "Just let her do it! Let her do it. It's the highlight of her life! C'mon, we wanna see it!" The rioter ended up moving left and right in front of the woman as she tried to extinguish the fire. As a chant of "all cops are bastards!" in the background, the elderly woman with the walker got a shot into the can and put out the fire. Check out the clip here.

Antifa bro smashes up Portland church — then house of worship is forced to close its shelter, halt homeless program that provides meals to hundreds daily

Surveillance video shows a homeless person on the night of Nov. 4, 2020, curled up on the sidewalk outside the doors of St. Andre Bessette Church in downtown Portland, Oregon. Then, into the camera frame comes a marching group of black-clad Antifa militants. One of them approaches the area where the homeless person is curled up, pays no attention to the individual, and promptly smashes the church's doors and windows.

A church leader who filed a police report told officers the church was forced to close its shelter and halt homeless services because staff can't safely open or close the building's extensively damaged doors. St. Andre Bessette serves several hundred people a day, providing shelter, meals, and other services to homeless individuals, police added.

"Until I can get the building secured, everything's coming to a stop," Father Tom Gaughan told KGW-TV. "So there's hundreds of people that we would normally give out food to, and we're not gonna be able to because of this." Gaughan added to KOIN-TV that he's also suspending church services, including mass, until the building is secured.

"We ask for everyone's prayers for peace in our streets, which is so long overdue and pray for our sisters and brothers who call the streets and shelters home," Gaughan also told KOIN. "Because the act of one person has prevented us from providing for hundreds of people over the course of a week."

'I'm gonna f*** you up': Video shows Antifa thug getting in face of GOP candidate running against Nancy Pelosi, saying he wants him 'dead'

In early 2020, cell phone video showed John Dennis — chairman of the San Francisco Republican Party — conversing with a bearded guy who Dennis identified as an Antifa member. The problem, apparently, was that Dennis was running against Democrat Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi in the fall.

The Antifa agitator told Dennis — who was there helping a street cleanup effort — "Bruh, I'ma gonna catch you when all the cameras aren't around, and I'm gonna f*** you up." And that's just for starters. The bearded guy also told Dennis that "I want you dead." The Republican naturally wondered why.

"Because you're a piece of s**t," the Antifa guy told Dennis.

OK, and how could he possibly tell?

"Because you're racist," the aggressor continued.

Gotcha.

Then, when the GOP candidate rightly argued back, asking the bearded guy how he could possibly come to that conclusion, the Antifa guy offered an insight that pretty much sums up the leftist state of mind: "I can tell by looking at you."

Dennis posted a video Feb. 4 that offered more insight on what happened between him and the Antifa fellow. Dennis explained that he learned 30 to 40 Antifa members showed up to protest the cleanup effort just because Republicans were involved — and the guy in the yellow shirt seemed to want to stand out from other Antifa members dressed in dark clothing. He also stood out for other reasons, Dennis added, after flipping over a canopy and threatening various individuals in the crowd. The yellow-shirted Antifa guy seemed to be "giving backbone" to the "rest of the lightweight Antifa," Dennis noted.

It was at that point that Dennis said he tried talking to the yellow-shirted guy, and then the threats happened. Dennis added that what's not seen on the clip is that he approached the Antifa agitator again and with some "rough language" informed him that he wasn't going to be intimidated — which is when our bearded hero departed and "the crowd lost a lot of its fight." While Dennis said, "Violence is just unacceptable," when push comes to shove and threats are issued, "You gotta stand up to them."

Leftist thug — accused of kicking man in head from behind and knocking him out after repeatedly punching him — is sentenced to prison

Marquise Love — accused of kicking a man in the head from behind and knocking him out cold after repeatedly punching him amid a Portland protest in August 2020 — was sentenced to 20 months in prison later in the year, KOIN-TV reported.

You can view a video report here showing the head kick.

Love received the sentence after pleading guilty to third-degree assault and felony riot as well undergoing "months of pretrial negotiations and a judicial settlement conference," the station said, citing the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office.

More from KOIN:

His guilty plea acknowledges that he caused physical injury to the victim, identified as Adam Haner, and that 'he and others engaged in tumultuous and violent conduct and created a grave risk of causing public alarm.'

The DA's office said Haner, as well as law enforcement, the court and the state, found the resolution in this case 'appropriate.' Haner was not personally at the sentencing hearing on Monday, but has previously said in interviews with the media that he hoped Love would learn from what happened.

Love apologized to the victim in court, according to the DA's office, and reportedly expressed genuine remorse.

After his time behind bars, Love will have to complete 36 months of probation, KOIN reported, adding that any violations could result in additional prison time. He also must undergo an alcohol abuse evaluation and comply with any recommended treatment, the station said.

Portland police identified Love as the suspect seen in cell phone videos repeatedly punching a man who was forced by a mob to sit in the street after which the suspect kicked the victim in the head from behind and apparently knocked him out.

The beating began after the victim was trying to get away from violent protesters and crashed his truck — then a mob descended upon him.

Haner, recounting the incident to KPTV-TV, said he was yanked out of his vehicle and hit the ground, after which the mob "wouldn't let me get up" — and then the beating began.

"I was just standing for myself as a citizen," he told the station, "and if you can't do that on a street, then what can you do?"

Blaze News original: 10 gut-wrenching instances when thugs brutally attacked and injured police

It was reported earlier this year that physical attacks against New York Police Department officers reached unprecedented levels. Experts noted to the New York Post that anti-cop rhetoric and woke policies emboldening criminals have been fueling the rising number of attacks against cops.

Police Benevolent Association president Patrick Hendry told the paper that "well over 5,000 cops were attacked and injured last year" but that they "didn’t come out of nowhere. This dangerous environment has been building for years. ... It’s not going to get better until those who attack police officers are consistently prosecuted and kept in jail. And that won’t happen unless New Yorkers keep speaking up to demand an end to the chaos.”

'Let 'em whup his ass! Let 'em whup his ass!'

A 28-year-old female NYPD officer added to the Post that "everyone wants to fight.” She said she was assaulted while handcuffing a shoplifting suspect — and while the officer added that she sprained her hand in the incident, the suspect was released from jail the same day.

The following are 10 gut-wrenching instances when thugs brutally attacked and injured police. In one heartbreaking case, an officer died just a few days after he was pummeled.

Punk on parole accused of punching cop in face, breaking his nose — and judge releases suspect with no bail

A male with a long criminal record who was out on parole was accused of punching a Yonkers, New York, police officer in the face last September, breaking the cop's nose. But despite assault charges against the suspect and the district attorney's request for $150,000 bail, a judge decided to release the suspect with no bail, WCBS-TV reported. Police answered a Sept. 6 call concerning an unresponsive man on the sidewalk near Cypress Street and Yonkers Avenue, the station said. Officers on the scene tried to convince 39-year-old Johnny McCray to sit in an ambulance — and then McCray suddenly hauled off and punched a male officer in the nose, WCBS reported. According to the Yonkers Times, McCray was on parole through 2027 over a 2017 attempted robbery conviction for which he served most of his five-year prison sentence. The paper added that McCray had six felony and seven misdemeanor convictions on his record dating back over 20 years and had a history of not making court appearances. The punched officer went on leave after his injury, WCBS said, adding that he had just transferred to Yonkers from Bedford, which the station described as a "quiet community in northern Westchester." The judge reportedly decided on a no-bail release with GPS monitoring as the best way to guarantee McCray would return to court.

Trio of siblings convicted of aggravated battery against a police officer — and it all started with a stop sign violation

An officer with the Aurora, Illinois, police department on June 21, 2021, conducted a traffic stop for a stop sign violation, the Kane County State's Attorney's Office said. Paul Sherrod Taylor was driving the car, and his sisters — Jennifer M. Taylor and Sheba A. Taylor — were in the vehicle. Within seconds of the stop, Sheba Taylor exited the vehicle and refused to re-enter it despite the officer's orders, and then Paul Sherrod Taylor exited the car, aggressively approached and threatened the officer, and refused to re-enter the car as well.

Paul Sherrod Taylor shoved the officer, who was trying to handcuff him, and fled. The officer chased him on foot, after which Paul Sherrod Taylor stopped, turned, and aggressively faced off with the officer by putting up his fists and getting in a fighting stance while yelling at the officer to “keep running, boy.” The officer decided to wait for backup, but as he turned to walk toward his squad car, the Taylor sisters attacked him and repeatedly struck him. A police news release said the two female passengers began striking the officer with closed fists and kicking his body and head. The release states that the officer heard a male voice and then was struck repeatedly in the head from several angles, and a female passenger placed her forearm around the officer’s neck and applied significant force to his windpipe, causing him to lose the ability to breathe.

Paul Sherrod Taylor called 911 and threatened the officer to a dispatcher, stating multiple times that he would “kill” the officer unless police arrived immediately, and he was heard repeatedly screaming at the officer that “I’m going to kill you, bitch," the state attorney general's office said. Arriving officers saw Sheba Taylor sitting on the officer's chest and neck as Jennifer Taylor held him down; the arriving officers had to physically remove them. You can check out police video of the incident here.

The Taylor sisters each were sentenced to 120 days of imprisonment in the Kane County jail, 200 hours of community service, and four years of probation for committing aggravated battery against the officer. Their brother received a three-year sentence in the state Department of Corrections for aggravated battery to a police officer, threatening a public official, aggravated assault of a police officer, and resisting a peace officer, the state's attorney's office added.

Thug beats cop's face bloody in brutal attack livestreamed on Facebook while laughing onlookers encourage suspect

A North Carolina police officer was airlifted to a hospital after he was beaten while trying to make an arrest in October 2020 — and the attack was livestreamed on Facebook, left his face bloody, and featured laughing onlookers. The video lasted 11 minutes, WPDE reported, adding that the officer — who was repeatedly punched in the face — asked a man for assistance, but the man refused. While the video shows one man pulling the attacker away from the officer, another man is heard saying, "Let 'em whup his ass! Let 'em whup his ass!" Authorities charged Jamel Alphonso Rogers with assault with a deadly weapon with intentions to kill while inflicting serious injuries, kidnapping, and two counts of resisting a public officer, the station said. The officer suffered a broken nose and several facial cuts, WBTW-TV reported.

Suspect who allegedly helped beat up NYPD's highest-ranking uniformed officer, other cops amid Brooklyn Bridge protest released without bail

— (@)

A bloody brawl broke out on the Brooklyn Bridge between violent protesters and New York City Police Department officers in July 2020 during which eight officers were injured, including a sergeant, lieutenant, and Chief of Department Terence Monahan, the NYPD's highest-ranking uniformed officer. One police officer lost consciousness during the incident. Lt. Richard Mack with the department's Strategic Response Group was struck several times in the face, resulting in the fracture of his orbital bones and 12 stitches on his face. Quran Campbell, 25, was accused of physically attacking Mack, Monahan, and another officer — but he was released without bail after his arraignment on assault charges in Manhattan criminal court. Monahan said morale among NYPD officers is "as low as it's been in a long time," adding to Fox News that "on the street corners, there is a feeling that they don't have to listen to the police, and that they're willing to fight the police officers."

Officer beaten so severely in sneak attack that he was found in a pool of blood and with a dent in his forehead; he died soon after

Cpl. Keith Heacook of the Delmar (Del.) Police Department responded alone to a call about a fight in a home in April 2021, after which he was found unconscious in a pool of blood, apparently having been bludgeoned with his own baton, which was missing from its holster, a police source told Blaze News. Heacock was repeatedly hit so violently that there was a dent in his forehead, the source told Blaze News. A witness in the home reportedly claimed to have seen suspect Randon Wilkerson "throat-stomping" the officer. Heacock died a few days later, and Wilkerson — who was convicted of killing Heacook — was sentenced in December 2023 to two consecutive life sentences for murder charges and over 200 years for other offenses, DelawareOnline reported. The victim's son, Matthew, was 12 at the time of his father's murder and said in an impact statement that he "curled in a ball on the floor and cried for what seemed like hours" after he received the tragic news, the outlet added.

Male caught on police bodycam video charging at female officer, striking her with claw hammer

Police in Middletown, Connecticut, said Detective Karli Travis was investigating a complaint about noise and broken glass at a residence around 6:30 a.m. Aug. 12, 2023. Travis' bodycam video shows a man later identified as 52-year-old Winston Tate charging at the officer with a claw hammer. Authorities said Tate struck Travis with the hammer at least four times, Fox News reported. Travis responded by shooting Tate several times. Tate was charged with attempted first-degree assault, second-degree assault, assault on a police officer, and interfering with police. He was out on probation for assaulting another officer and had at least 30 prior arrests — including a third attack on an officer – and 14 convictions within the past six years, Fox News added, citing court records. He was jailed on more than $1 million bail, the cable news network said. The detective suffered significant bruising and also was recovering from a gunshot wound to her hand, Fox News said.

Thug smashes glass bottle on NYPD officer's head in unprovoked attack caught on bodycam video; suspect was arrested twice before for assaulting cops

The incident took place around 4:50 a.m. July 18, 2021, as a 67th Precinct officer stood on a street corner in the East Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn, WABC-TV reported. Bodycam video shows the suspect walking toward the officer and speaking, after which the officer raises his right hand in an apparent attempt to prevent the suspect from getting any closer to him. Seconds later, it appears the suspect moves closer to the officer, after which the officer appears to move the suspect backward with his right hand. The suspect reacts by taking a swing at the officer with a glass bottle, the station said. Police said officers caught up with the suspect and arrested him a block away, WABC reported. The attacked officer needed staples to close a wound to the left side of his head, the station said, adding that he also was cut on his hand, elbow, and left knee. The suspect — 27-year-old Tyshaun Holloway of Hackensack, New Jersey — was charged with assault, menacing, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, and criminal possession of a weapon, WABC reported. The station said Holloway was arrested twice in 2016 for assaulting officers in the Bronx and that he also has been arrested for two attempted robberies, making terroristic threats, and fare evasion.

Woman charged with aggravated battery against 4 Chicago cops is released 1 day after arrest — the first day cash bail is eliminated across Illinois

Esmeralda Aguilar, 24, was arrested after the incident that took place at 2:38 a.m. Sept. 17, 2023, in the 200 block of North Wabash Avenue, police said. Aguilar shot pepper spray toward a group of officers during Mexican Independence Day festivities in the Loop, CWB Chicago reported, adding that two officers were hospitalized. Aguilar was released the day after her arrest — the same day the Pretrial Fairness Act — part of the controversial SAFE-T Act — went into effect, Fox News said. The new law allows the release of charged individuals if they don't pose a danger to the community or are flight risks, the cable news network added.

After a separate incident on the same weekend, prosecutors charged Arturo Rodriguez, 46, with felony aggravated battery of a peace officer, the Chicago Tribune reported. They alleged Rodriguez on Sept. 17, 2023, hit a police officer lying on the ground in the back of the head with a wooden flagpole as officers tried to pursue and arrest two teens, the paper said, citing court records. The Tribune, citing a police report, said officers had been blocking traffic at the corner of West 26th Street and South Homan Avenue before the 1 a.m. attack. Vehicles with flags were in the streets throughout the neighborhood of Little Village for Mexican Independence Day, the paper said.

Thug takes swing at cop's face, knocks her flat on her back amid suspected shoplifting; bone in officer's face broken

A male was caught on video taking a swing at a New York City police officer's face and knocking her flat on her back outside a Duane Reade pharmacy in Manhattan's Murray Hill neighborhood in December 2021. You can watch surveillance video of the attack here. The clip shows the officer blocking the doorway and apparently speaking to the suspect when he grabs the officer, shoves her away, and exits through the doorway. The officer fights back and grabs the suspect as he continues to attempt to get away, but the suspect turns and punches the officer in the face, sending her tumbling backward and landing feet away and through the entrance of the store on East 34th Street. The officer suffered a fractured bone in her face and cuts to her ear, WABC-TV reported, adding that she was taken to a hospital in stable condition following the attack.

Mob swarms, physically attacks cop, punching and kicking him, after he responded alone to shots-fired call; one thug cackles that he caught beatdown on video

The incident took place on the night of June 3, 2021, in Jacksonville, Florida. Individuals in a crowd that the officer approached surrounded him and pushed him to the ground, punching and kicking him and shouting expletives at him. A video news report shows part of the attack captured on cellphone video, and the person who recorded it reportedly ran off laughing about the attack and how he caught it on video. Authorities arrested 23-year-old Jermisha Ramsey in connection with the attack and charged her with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and street fighting. WTLV-TV reported that the officer suffered "multiple abrasions" in the attack.

Blaze News original: 19 nauseating times cowardly thugs ganged up on — and savagely beat up — lone victims

Left-wing violence seemed to spike along with mindless outrage after Donald Trump's election as president in 2016, and leading the way was Antifa — self-appointed social justice warriors hell bent on making others' lives a living hell on the streets if their leftist causes aren't obeyed.

Antifa's "uniform" always has been comically consistent: masks and often dark glasses and goggles to disguise their identities, along with dark clothing and boots. Armed with sticks, bats, and hammers, the marauding leftists gather in packs and are ready to fight and primed to destroy. Oh, and the more of them there are, the more courageous they get. Funny how that works.

There are few things more stomach-turning than the sight of large groups of thugs getting violent with lone victims — because all of us know deep down that if you get almost any of them one on one and away from the safety of their pack, their tunes would quickly change.

The height of their bravery happens when they encounter lone individuals who haven't a prayer of escaping unscathed. Blaze News readers won't soon forget what Antifa did to conservative journalist Andy Ngo in 2019. Content warning: language:

— (@)

But it hasn't been just Antifa. During the Black Lives Matter summer of 2020, a bunch of stunning and brave leftists got themselves in large groups and tried out straight-up intimidation against outnumbered victims. Videos showing them harassing outdoor restaurant patrons who refuse to raise their fists in George Floyd solidarity are painful and embarrassing to watch four years later:

— (@)

Their tactics and cruel bravado seemed to catch on. Sadly, it would seem your garden-variety leftists and everyday crooks discovered that they, too, can strut around in packs and gang up on anybody they want.

There are few things more stomach-turning than the sight of large groups of thugs getting violent with lone victims — because all of us know deep down that if you get almost any of them one on one and away from the safety of their pack, their tunes would quickly change.

Here are 19 of those nauseating moments:

5 suspects — one only 14 years old — charged in brutal beating outside convenience store; victim says one told him 'Black Lives Matter' as he kicked him in face

The victim in the June 14, 2020, attack in Klein, Texas, was waiting to buy some items when a group tried to cut in line, KTRK-TV reported. "I looked over and said, 'There's a line for a reason,'" the victim recounted to the station. After he paid and left, the group met him in the parking lot and took turns kicking and punching him, the station said. The victim told KTRK he just took the beating; video of the attack shows he didn't fight back or protect himself. The victim added that one attacker told him, "Black Lives Matter, [expletive]," as he kicked him in the face.

Over a dozen thugs savagely stomp teen girl on sidewalk; teen accused in attack is shot dead in retaliation 2 months later

The March 2020 broad-daylight attack took place in Brooklyn's Crown Heights neighborhood. The size of the mob swelled in seconds as more suspects converged upon the victim. One suspect was seen pulling sneakers right off her feet while she was crumpled on the sidewalk. Days later, five males ranging in age from 14 to 17 were charged with robbery and gang assault. One mother told the New York Daily News she made her son turn himself into police: "When I saw the video I literally wanted to kill him with my own hands. I was very, very pissed off." Two months later, one of the teens accused in the attack was shot dead. Police said it was a "retaliatory" killing over the savage attack on the girl.

Gang of 30 to 40 ATV riders surround, severely beat up 82-year-old motorist who was out to 'pick up a turkey' before Thanksgiving

The senseless attack took place in Boston in November 2021. The victim suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized but was expected to survive, police told WCVB-TV. The victim's daughter told the station her dad "wasn't doing anything wrong. He's simply traveling somewhere, and then he gets attacked, and it's heartbreaking for us to know that it's not safe for our 82-year-old father to be out by himself. Discouraged at humanity in general to know that someone — or more than someone — can get together and beat on a defenseless elderly man."

Mob of 7 to 11 stomps to death nightclub security guard described as 'family-oriented man' and father of 2

The deadly attack took place last July in Hollywood. “The victim was working at this nightclub, and a large group — for unknown reasons — confronted that security guard, causing him to fall into the street, at which time the group advanced and kicked and stomped him to death," LAPD West Bureau Homicide Division Detective Samuel Marullo told KTLA-TV. A friend of victim Daniel Sandifer added to the station, “It was brutal, that shouldn’t even happen. They should’ve just let it go, just walk away. He had a life to live. I don’t know how they felt, but ... he got two kids to go home to. Now he can’t even see his kids no more.”

A dozen 'animalistic' teen thugs, some with guns, randomly beat up man minding his own business outside store

The apparently random attack occurred in July 2023 when more than a dozen teens in three stolen cars pulled into a Cleveland gas station. Some of them walked up to a 34-year-old man sitting against the outer wall of the station store and began throwing punches, Cleveland.com reported. At one point, an attacker lifted the man off his feet and body-slammed him to the ground. The teens were later arrested on charges ranging from receiving stolen property to felonious assault and aggravated rioting, the outlet said. Four of them already had pending cases in Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court, Cleveland.com said, adding that three were previously arrested in stolen cars and the fourth was charged with improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle. Cleveland Police Chief Wayne Drummond called the attack “animalistic."

Gang of teens brutally beat up HS student who has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, use of just 1 arm, victim's mother says: 'He couldn't fight back even if he wanted to'

A blurred clip of the attack shows a gang of students jumping on and pummeling the victim in the gymnasium of North Clayton High School, which is about 17 minutes south of Atlanta. The mother of the victim told WSB-TV in its November 2022 story that she saw no teachers anywhere near the mob-like attack, and she wants criminal charges brought against her son's assailants. The beating lasted several minutes, and she said her son suffered bruises and cuts on his face, WSB noted: “His leg was injured ... he couldn’t walk out of the school yesterday. I had to almost carry him out to the car.” The victim also suffered a serious epileptic seizure when he got home that his mother said lasted about three minutes and was likely related to the attack, WSB reported.

Klotz, 37, told the teens to stop harassing an elderly man, after which they beat up Klotz. "They had me on the ground," he said in a video showing bruises on his face. "My ribs are all bruised up, too. They got their hits in." Police detained three of the teens — two 15-year-olds and a 17-year-old — then let them go. A New York Police Department spokesperson said, "Juvenile reports were prepared, and their parents were called to pick them up."

Street takeover thugs shoot at, beat up motorist who hit one of their cars while trying to get through blocked intersection; they also set victim's car on fire, loot store

The attack took place in February in Vallejo, California, near Springs Road and Rollingwood Drive. Police said cars doing donuts blocked the victim's white pickup truck, and he hit a Ford Mustang while trying to get through the intersection. Attackers chased the victim into a convenience store, beat him, looted the store, and lit the victim's truck on fire. KTVU-TV reported that they stole cigarettes, candy, lottery scratch-off tickets, and beer from the store.

Teens beat husband, father so brutally in unprovoked attack that part of his skull has to be removed to relieve pressure on his bleeding brain

The June 2022 attack took place on a Philadelphia street while the 53-year-old victim was walking to a concert venue. Two males and two females, ages 15 to 17, attacked the victim, identified only as Benjamin, WPVI-TV reported, adding that police said they went through his pockets and took his car keys, house keys, and credit cards. His wife got a call from the hospital saying he suffered severe head trauma with a brain bleed, WTXF said, adding that medics first thought he was hit by a car. "They easily could have killed him," his wife added to WPVI. The foursome were arrested and charged with robbery, aggravated assault, conspiracy, simple assault, unauthorized use of property, and related offenses, WPVI said.

Mob of teens viciously beat up off-duty NYC firefighter who was walking his dog

The July 2021 attack took place when the 44-year-old victim was walking his 3-year-old Labradoodle named Dylan at Juniper Valley Park in Queens. He reportedly asked a group of "at least 100" teens to stop launching illegal fireworks at the park and jumping the fence of a daycare center across from the park, the New York Post said. "One kid took his shirt off and said, 'It's Fight Night!' He said he was 19 and said, 'I could fight you.' Everyone took their cellphones out. There were cellphones everywhere," the man told the Post. "They all came at me. ... A kid came up behind me and hit me in the back of the head with a bottle, and I let go of the dog." The attackers knocked the father of three to the ground, repeatedly punching and kicking him. Police said no arrests had been made.

Police said one of the suspects stole the boy’s cell phone before the attackers left the scene, the station added. Oh, and no one intervened.

5 thugs — all juveniles — surround, beat up 15-year-old boy on Philly subway platform in middle of day, steal his stuff

The March 2023 attack took place on the Septa Platform at 1400 John F. Kennedy Boulevard around 4 p.m. when several juveniles surrounded him. Police said one of the males punched the victim in the face and took his phone while the other males hit and kicked the victim and took other items from him. More than a few social media commenters noted the suspects' apparent young ages, particularly the male in the middle of the composite image wearing the "1977" hoodie. "Suspect 3 looks like a baby!!" one commenter exclaimed. "This is so bad!!"

6 teen males gang up on 78-year-old woman, surround her, throw her to ground, rob her, then run off — on Valentine's Day

Margaret Schultz told KENS-TV she was walking to an H-E-B grocery store in San Antonio to buy food for her dog a few months ago when the attack took place. Someone saw the attack and called police; Schultz said that they stole from her an envelope containing $900. “They could have killed me,” he noted.

5 Antifa scumbags armed with batons gang up on man, beat him silly in alley — and their 'comrades' demand reporter not record attack

— (@)

The December 2020 attack took place in Sacramento amid a Proud Boys protest. Scott Rodd — the state government reporter for CapRadio News — was there to document the violence as Antifa showed up, too. Rodd caught the moment one guy was verbally antagonizing Antifa, after which the militant leftists rushed him in an alley and beat him with batons. "Multiple counter-protesters blocked me and demanded I not film," Rodd added in his tweet. "I said (through a gas mask) I'm press and just doing my job." One leftist is heard hollering at Rodd, "Do not film! Do not film! Do not film this!" as open black umbrellas attempt to block him from recording. When the beating ends, Rodd captures an image of the victim sprawled on the concrete and struggling to stand.

5 masked thugs gang up on street vendor, brutally attack and rob him in front of his 8-year-old daughter with special needs

Last September's broad-daylight attack took place in south Los Angeles where Jose Carbajal was selling T-shirts and other merchandise. He told KTLA-TV that when his attackers approached him, he felt what could have been a gun pressed against him before he was thrown to the ground. The robbers made off with some of Carbajal’s merchandise, but they also stole $2,200, his car registration, his passport, and his debit card, which the robbers used to purchase gas, KTLA added. Carbajal — a single father — told the station the attack went down right in front of his daughter, who has autism. “My message to them is may God continue to bless them,” he told KTLA in Spanish. “One day, it will not go so well. All of these people out here, we all work very hard to sustain life for our families, as I do for my daughter. What they did was something not very kind.”

Gang of teenage thugs brutally beat up 15-year-old for his 'Yeezy' footwear; bystanders post 'disturbing' video on social media instead of intervening

Investigators said last June's attack unfolded at a basketball court in Haverford Township, Delaware County in Pennsylvania, at about 9:15 p.m. One video shows a number of teenagers punching and kicking the victim while he was on the ground. Soon, he was able to run away from the attackers and knock on the door of a home in the neighborhood, after which the resident called 911. The suspects — who range in age from 14 to 17 years old — face aggravated assault, robbery, and other related charges, police said.

Blaze News original: 7 times violent crooks were released — sometimes with no bail — and soon were charged with more violence

Stories have flooded the news cycle in recent years about authorities releasing violent criminals from custody — sometimes with no bail and despite violent charges already on their records — after which they're soon charged with committing violent crimes again.

It's an issue that has many observers angry, frustrated, and fed up with woke politicians, district attorneys, judges, and social justice warriors who seem intent on keeping dangerous individuals out of jail and on streets and committing more violent crimes.

Just this month, a 30-year-old male allegedly punched a 9-year-old girl in the face while she was with her mother in the dining concourse of New York City's Grand Central Station.

WNBC-TV said the suspect got away before the Bronx girl was taken to the hospital, the station said.

Turns out just days before, cops charged the same suspect — later identified as Jean Carlos Zarzuela — reportedly for randomly punching a 54-year-old woman and breaking her nose inside Grand Central. But a source told WNBC-TV that while a judge set Zarzuela's bail at $2,500 cash — and Zarzuela went to jail — he went before a different judge soon after and was released.

Police arrested Zarzuela a few hours after the girl was punched, WNBC said. He was charged with assault, WPIX-TV said, adding that the MTA indicated additional charges are pending.

The girl suffered from dizziness and pain, WPIX reported, citing the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. She's expected to recover, WPIX added.

Man arrested for punching girl in Grand Central: MTAyoutu.be

“It doesn’t make any sense that this guy — who recently was released after being charged with randomly punching someone else and breaking that victim’s nose — should be back in a public space where he can attack others, especially children,” MTA Communications Director Tim Minton told WPIX. “The people responsible for the criminal justice system need to learn from this episode before more innocent people become victims.”

The following are similar recent examples:

Ex-con released with no bail after his arrest for domestic violence against estranged wife; the next day he allegedly shoots her to death in front of her children

Adam Bennefield, 45, was charged with low-level misdemeanors in 2022 in connection with his alleged domestic violence against 30-year-old Keaira Bennefield — and the judge couldn't set bail, so he was released. Keaira Bennefield was so afraid of what might happen to her that she wore a bulletproof vest to drop her children off at school. A day later Adam Bennefield allegedly shot her to death in her car in front of her kids, ages 6 months to 9 years. The victim's mother said New York Gov. Kathy Hochul's support of cashless bail led to her daughter's murder: "She should be charged for the crime. She's also responsible for the crime. She failed me. She let me down and my daughter down, and she needs to make a change with the bail reform."

Woman released on zero bail after allegedly ramming car into businesses; a week later she's charged with arson and attempted murder

Jacqueline Whatley, 36, was arrested last October after allegedly ramming a car into a Coffee Bean and a sushi restaurant in Los Feliz, California, KTTV-TV said. Police charged her with vandalism, which was eligible for no-cash bail, and she was released, the station said. About a week later, she faced attempted murder charges in connection with setting fires that destroyed a business, a home, and an occupied tent — and this time she was being held on $1 million bail, KTTV said.

Woman beats man with pole, released with no bail while deemed 'moderate risk'; days later she kills mother of 8

Vanessa Harvey, 49, pleaded guilty in 2023 to voluntary manslaughter in the 2021 death of 42-year-old Machina Goodjoint, KLAS-TV reported, adding that two weeks before that crime Harvey beat her first victim — a man — with a metal pole. After the first attack, Harvey refused to appear for her probable cause hearing on a charge of battery resulting in substantial bodily harm, the station said. In the attack against Goodjoint, the victim's injuries were so severe that an officer reportedly believed Goodjoint was shot in the face. Harvey was sentenced to four to 10 years in prison and will be eligible for parole next year.

Thug reportedly released without bail after allegedly punching woman in face on NYC street — and despite suspect's 7 prior assault arrests

“He just punched me on the right side here, very strong,” Dulce Pichardo told WPIX-TV of the late March unprovoked attack in Brooklyn. “I was surprised. I said, ‘What’s going on? Why did you hit me? Why did you do it?’ I didn’t do anything. No reason to hit me." Officers arrested 33-year-old Franz Jeudy, WABC-TV reported. Jeudy was charged with third-degree assault — a misdemeanor, which means he wasn't bail-eligible — and he was released, the New York Post reported. The paper added that one of Jeudy's prior arrests took place in 2018 when he was charged with second-degree assault for an attack on a cop.

Thug arrested multiple times for assaults reportedly released from custody — then just 2 days later accused of brutal hatchet attack against elderly man

The suspect in a brutal hatchet attack against an elderly man last December reportedly was released from custody two days before the attack — and also had 19 bench warrants since 2012 and had been arrested for assaulting firefighters, health care workers, police officers, and strangers. Paleti Anikesi Veniale, 30, was charged with first-degree attempted murder, and prosecutors cited his extensive history of criminal violence when they asked for bail of $1 million.

Punk released with no bail after being charged with randomly attacking 2 men; a month later he's accused of punching 19-year-old female in face, breaking her nose

— (@)

CWB Chicago reported that after prosecutors charged Diashun Dixson with randomly attacking two men — one of them 64 years old — at the Chicago French Market in May 2023, a judge ordered Dixson to pay a $10,000 bail deposit. But the outlet said he couldn't post bail and stayed in jail until December when his attorney — citing the state's elimination of cash bail — filed a motion and got Dixson released. CWB Chicago said not even a month later Dixson was accused of randomly punching a 19-year-old female college student so hard in the face that her nose was fractured. The outlet said Dixson was soon back in jail.

Horrified women say men punched them in face, head in unprovoked, broad-daylight attacks on NYC streets this month

"I was literally just walking and a man came up and punched me in the face," influencer Halley Mcgookin said through tears in a now-viral Monday video describing an attack against her that had just taken place on a New York City street, Today reported. "Oh my God, it hurts so bad. I can't even talk."

Mcgookin added in the clip — which Today said has received over 35 million views — that she fell to the ground after the punch; she then pointed to a bump on the upper right side of her head, the outlet noted.

She's not alone.

A number of horrified women are saying that men have punched them this month in unprovoked, broad-daylight attacks on Manhattan streets.

Mcgookin — known online as Halley Kate — said in a follow-up video that she was walking on a sidewalk looking down at her phone to send an email when a man who was walking his dog punched her, Today reported: “There was so much room on the sidewalk, literally nobody was around, and I guess this man — I don’t know if he punched me or elbowed me. I literally passed out, so I don’t really remember."

She added that when she tried to get up, the man was “screaming” at her before she ran away, the outlet reported.

NBC News noted that videos of women reporting similar attacks have picked up in the last week: One woman said she was attacked walking home from class; another while on her way to work; still another while she was walking her dog.

The news network added that a police spokesperson declined to answer whether the attacks reflect an uptick in violent crime against women in the city or whether the police department is taking any additional measures to ensure their safety.

NBC News reported that a 25-year-old woman said she was walking out of the Times Square subway station on 7th Avenue and West 42nd Street Saturday when a man punched her in the head. The victim told the news network that she captured video of the man as he was walking away, and police publicized in a poster that the suspect was wanted for assault.

The woman said on TikTok the "traumatic" experience will stick with her the "rest of [her] life," NBC News added: "We are always cautious about walking at night, now we have to be cautious about walking in broad daylight."

'Out of nowhere'

The news network also said Mikayla Toninato — a Parsons fashion design student — also shared a TikTok video saying she was punched in the face while leaving class in Manhattan as she was looking down at her phone and texting.

“Out of nowhere this man just came up and hit me in the face," she said in the clip with a bruise visible under one of her eyes, according to NBC News.

“He hit me right on my cheekbone," Toninato told the "Today" show Thursday, according to NBC News. "This doesn’t hurt as bad as the concussion does." She added that emotionally "it's been really really hard. I think it hits me in waves. A lot of crying because it’s been really scary."

Another woman reported getting punched by a man who apologized before he hit her, the news network said.

“I literally just got punched by some man on the sidewalk,” she said in a TikTok video, NBC News reported. “He goes ‘sorry’ and then punches me in the head.”

Police told the news network the attack took place around 11:48 a.m. March 17 while a woman was walking her dog in the area of Kenmare and Mulberry Streets and that "no injuries were reported as a result of this incident."

NBC News said the woman in an update posted to her TikTok account added: “I wasn’t looking down at my phone. I was just literally across the street from my building walking my dog to the dog park. I had seen the man. He was, like, slightly walking toward me, and I didn’t think anything of it. And then he says, ‘sorry,’ and hits me and was immediately gone.”

'I got attacked from behind'

The news network added that Sarah Harvard, 30, posted Tuesday on X that she was walking near the Delancey Street and Essex Street station on the Lower East Side when she was punched in the back of the head March 19.

“I was not on my phone. I was walking somewhere, and I got attacked from behind,” she told NBC News. “So it’s really violating that I didn’t see it coming, and there was nothing I could’ve done, really, to prevent it from happening.”

Harvard added to the news network that since the attack, she's felt a “spiky pain, throbbing feeling” in her head and experienced nausea, headaches, dizziness, and blurred vision.

More from NBC News:

Harvard said she initially didn’t go to the police because she thought that it was an isolated incident, and that officials might brush it off. Since she learned that more women have come forward online to say they’ve been assaulted, she said, she plans to file a police report.

Since the attack, Harvard said, she is struggling with feeling unsafe in the city she calls home.

“What’s really unbearable is that general, never-ending feeling now of feeling unsafe and feeling constantly alert, constantly looking over my shoulder,” she told the news network. “This anxiety is manifesting physically, too. I slept last night for two hours; the night before, I slept for four hours. I’m having trouble breathing, and my chest is getting really tight.”

An arrest

NBC News, citing police, said 40-year-old Skiboky Stora of Brooklyn was arrested Wednesday on an assault charge. The attack for which the news outlet said Stora was arrested is the same attack Today reported in reference to Mcgookin.

More from NBC News:

Stora has sought public office in New York since 2021, public records show. He participated in a New York City mayoral debate in 2021. In 2022, he filed a handwritten petition to get on the ballot for New York governor. Last year, records show, Stora ran for the District 9 seat on the New York City Council.

However, the news network added Stora and the suspect wanted in connection with the Saturday assault outside the Times Square subway station do not appear to be the same person.

'Worse than monsters': Two 13-year-old suspects accused in string of physical attacks with larger juvenile gang held on bail

Two 13-year-old suspects accused of physically attacking people and vandalizing businesses in downtown Boston are being held on bail, WFXT-TV reported.

The two suspects are part of a larger group of violent juveniles who've been terrorizing the city in recent weeks.

What are the details?

One suspect was charged with 14 counts in connection with nine incidents and ordered held on $5,000 bail; the other suspect was charged with nine counts in connection with five incidents and ordered held on $3,500 bail, the station said.

Judge Peter Coyne in Suffolk County Juvenile Court on Monday ordered that the pair wear GPS tracking bracelets if they post bail, WFXT reported, adding that Coyne also ordered that they leave home only for school or service provider reasons — and stay away from Downtown Crossing.

'Worse than monsters'

An 81-year-old man named James told the station in a separate story that the marauding group of teens attacked him at a McDonald’s in Downtown Crossing last month.

“They are worse than monsters,” James told WFXT. “These kids don’t care. They are defiant to the law.”

He told the station three girls and one boy taunted him “just for the fun of it" on March 21, knocking a hamburger from his hands and then smacking his head.

“They came straight to me like they know me,” James added to WXTF. “They hit me two or three times and covered my head with whipped cream.” He also told the station "nobody intervened. They were all fraidy cats. This is a disgrace.”

James noted to the station that he's still furious over the incident as the juveniles are connected to more and more violent crime.

“Something’s got to be done," James told WFXT. "It’s a ridiculous situation,” he said.

Indeed the station said some of the repeat offenders continue to roam the streets because they're too young; authorities can’t arrest or prosecute children younger the age of 12 under 2018 state criminal reform legislation — which also provides limited options for detaining anyone under 14.

“They need to change the law where everyone is punished,” James told WFXT. “They’re not innocent! I don’t care what age they are.”

What else have the youngsters been up to?

Last month the same group of juveniles kicked and punched a woman — calling her a "white b***h with braids" — in Downtown Crossing.

WFXT-TV said in a video report that an 11-year-old girl involved in the attack against the woman and against the 81-year-old man at the McDonald's wasn't charged.

Then last Wednesday night, two students from Suffolk University in Boston were physically attacked on Boston Common by the same group of juveniles, WFXT said.

Police believe the main instigator in the attack was that same 11-year-old girl, the station said.

At 6:30 p.m. the juveniles were harassing a woman and her child near the Earl of Sandwich shop on the common, and two Suffolk students tried to help, WFXT said.

“As the woman walked away the group began swearing at her," according to a police report, the station said.

With that, the Suffolk students told the juveniles to leave the woman alone — and then the group took aim at the students, WFXT reported.

“At this point the slim, black juvenile female began punching [her] and knocked her glasses off her face," the police report said, according to the station. "She then stepped on her glasses before punching her again."

One of the students shot video of the incident, WFXT said, adding that police identified the main instigator as an 11-year-old and said she's well known to officers and is responsible for terrorizing unsuspecting citizens of downtown Boston.

But because of her age, the 11-year-old girl won't be formally charged — just issued a summons, WBZ-TV reported. There were were five juveniles in the attacking group on the commons consisting of kids no older than 14, WBZ said.

'Absolutely no fear'

WFXT said video shows the same group of juveniles trying to enter the Silvertone Bar & Grill in Downtown Crossing in late March.

"The really scary part is absolutely no fear," restaurant owner Dave Savoie told WFXT of the juveniles. "Like, the look in their eyes, very matter of fact, a lot of anger."

Savoie told the station they were demanding alcohol, and when he told them to leave, they began yelling at patrons and at him.

"So much profanity and so much crap and harassment," he noted to WXTF. "The one little girl even tried to ... swing at me when I wouldn't let her back down into the restaurant to go after my customers."

After getting the juveniles outside, Savoie told the station one of the girls went after him with a knife; he retreated, but the group then broke windows on the front of the restaurant.

"They just start smashing the windows with whatever they can get their hands on," Savoie added to WXTF.
