Last Year, Biden Ejected A Gold Star Dad From SOTU. This Year, Trump Announced Capture Of His Son’s Killer

Responding to tragedy is an expected and difficult task of the president. Biden blew it. Trump has mastered it.

Poll Shows Biden Bombed State Of The Union Address

Four of the five polls conducted since Biden's 'fiery' appearance show the president still underwater among voters.

Stephen A. Smith: You're 'smoking crack' if you think Biden can make it another 4 years

Legendary sports commentator Stephen A. Smith unleashed a scathing review of Joe Biden following the State of the Union address where he held no punches when referring to the president's age and mental acuity.

Despite left-leaning outlets referring to Biden's SOTU as "fiery," a "comeback," and even a "bravura performance," Smith ripped into progressives who have continued to support Biden for another term despite obvious issues related to his age.

"They said, 'Hey you know what, he looks fiery, so much fervor, so much energy,' and you had the left wanting to make a big deal about that," Smith began.

"Let me show y'all what that's the equivalent of," Smith said before he ran five feet to touch one television on his set and then 20 feet the other way to reach the other end of the frame. "So guess what? That means I can run five miles now. That means I'm in shape. What the hell does that mean that Joe Biden looked like he had energy last night?! The question is, can you rely on him to do that for four years starting next year?"

The sports critic turned political commentator put strong emphasis on the idea that Biden cannot make it through another term.

"The Democratic Party, who calls itself progressives, is begging and relying upon an 82-year-old to come save the day for 2025, 2026, 2027, and then 2028. And if you think that an hour speech offsets all of that, you smoking crack."

Democrats have used Biden's latest appearance to reignite their push that the president is indeed physically and mentally fit. Biden's speech featured chants of "four more years" from Democrats, and even hosts at "The View" were trying to pump up their crowd in the same manner.

"He is far from being incoherent, from having dementia, from not being in charge," host Ana Navarro claimed about Biden. "He showed he was engaged, he was impassioned, he was pissed off!"

Navarro was then joined by cohost Joy Behar for their "four more years" chant.

Smith was relentless, however.

"[Biden] gives a speech for an hour and 10 minutes or so on a week night in March of 2024 and suddenly that warrants four more years for a dude that's going to turn 82 years of age in November and is expected to give four more years after that?!" he asked. "It is an utter disgrace," the 56-year-old added.

Smith, who has pivoted toward more political content with his new program "The Stephen A. Smith Show," doesn't see eye to eye with mainstream Democrats at all.

In September 2023, Smith appeared on Sean Hannity's Fox News show to call it a "disgrace" for Democrats to push Biden into re-election. In early February 2024, he also said that Trump was on the verge of being re-elected due to Biden.

Smith has also recently made divisive remarks, particularly about fellow sports broadcaster Pat McAfee. Smith remarked that because McAfee is white, he doesn't have a requirement to be as politically polished as Smith does.

"Now, is he as polished politically as me? Nope, because he has no desire to be, number one. And number two, if we're being honest, he's white and I'm black. He didn't have to be, I had to be, so I get all of that, and I'm not knocking him for it."

Biden claims he's been 'delivering real results in fiscally responsible ways,' but here are the FACTS

The claims Biden made about the budget and the deficit during his disastrous State of the Union speech are bound to anger any hard-working American — and for good reason, because they’re not true.

“By the way, the first couple years we cut the deficit,” Biden told the country. “I’ve been delivering real results in fiscally responsible ways.”

“We’ve already cut the federal deficit,” he continued while slurring his words, “over a trillion dollars. I signed the bipartisan deal to cut another trillion dollars in the next decade.”

Stu Burguiere caught the lie immediately.

“Did you pick up a claim, uh, $1 trillion he claims he has cut,” Burguiere says, before going over the Congressional Budget Office Budget Outlook Headline Update to the budget from 2020 to 2030.

The CBO projected a federal budget deficit of $3.3 trillion in 2020, which is more than triple the shortfall recorded in 2019.

“We had a minor interruption, you might remember, called COVID-19,” Burguiere says, explaining that because no one could work, the government shelled out trillions of dollars to keep the economy running for what was supposed to be a short period of time.

“So the fact that he’s claiming a budget savings here is tough,” he adds.

Meanwhile, in 2018 and 2019, Donald Trump had deficits of $800 billion and $1 trillion.

In 2022 and 2023, Biden has $1.4 trillion and $1.7 trillion.

“How do you make $900 billion turning into $1.55 trillion into a good move?” Burguiere asks.

“You just measure yourself against peak COVID spending, which we all know is completely insane.”

Both Trump and RFK Jr. responded to Biden’s SOTU address: Who had the better reaction?

Neither Donald Trump nor RFK Jr. was impressed by Biden’s State of the Union address.

Both candidates took to social media to share their initial responses, which were equally disapproving but radically different.

Trump chose to focus on Biden’s lies: “Joe Biden is on the run from his record and lying like crazy to try and escape accountability for the horrific devastation he and his party have created. All the while they continue the very policies that are causing this horror show.”

“Joe Biden's sad excuse for a State of the Union address aside, here are the facts: When I left office, we gave Joe Biden the most secure border in U.S. history, we gave him ‘Remain in Mexico’ ... safe third agreements, the Asylum Ban, Title 42, 571 miles of border wall, rapid deportations, and much more,” but “as soon as he got in, crooked Joe and his radical left lunatics deliberately dismantled each and every one of those policies.”

“Over the past three years, Biden has actively aided and abetted the importation of millions and millions of illegal alien migrants and resettled them into your communities.”

To Trump’s response, Pat Gray says, “Good stuff,” adding that everything the former president said “is true.”

RFK Jr., on the other hand, chose to ignore Biden’s flaws and rather focus on getting back to the greatness that was once America: “I grew up in an America that seemed to have achieved its promise as an exemplary nation. ... We had become the City on the Hill. We were a moral authority around the globe; our government, institutions, our Congress, the court, the regulatory agencies, and even the American press were renowned for their integrity, and they were revered worldwide.”

“Other nations wanted our American leadership. They knew the difference between leadership and bullying, which is something our current leaders seem to have forgotten. We were the template of liberty, proof that for a country to thrive its people must be free — free to speak, free to worship, free to build great companies, free to start small businesses. We were the freest country in the world, and by no coincidence, the most prosperous.”

“Working Americans could provide for their families on a single salary, they could buy a home, raise a family, save for retirement without mountains of debt. We made the best music; we made the best movies; we made gold standard automobiles that everybody in the world wanted; we made blue jeans; we reconstructed Europe; we put men on the moon; we has the world's healthiest, best educated children."

“Our productivity, ingenuity, our ‘can do’ spirit were the envy of the world. We had confidence in our strength, our capacity, and the limitless potential of our country.”

“Wow! That’s good; that was inspirational,” says Pat. “What do you disagree with in that?”

Now we’re curious what you think. Who had the better response to Biden’s SOTU address? Donald Trump of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.? Leave us a comment below.

Biden Should Apologize To Americans For His Open Border, Not To The Killers Who Cross It

Biden and Democrats’ suggestion that Riley’s alleged murderer deserves no ‘disrespect’ insults Americans’ frustrations about the border.

Laken Hope Riley's mother blasts 'pathetic' Biden for not knowing her daughter's name during SOTU address

The mother of slain nursing student Laken Hope Riley blasted "pathetic" President Joe Biden for not knowing her daughter's name during his State of the Union address this week.

Biden suffered a verbal gaffe during his speech on Thursday when he mispronounced Laken Riley's name as "Lincoln Riley."

The 81-year-old president was pressured by Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-Ga.), who yelled at Biden, "Say her name!"

Biden responded, "I know how to say her name."

"Lincoln — Lincoln Riley, an innocent young woman who was killed by an illegal," Biden mistakenly uttered.

Allyson Phillips – the mother of the 22-year-old who was murdered in a wooded area on the University of Georgia campus – slammed Biden for the verbal blunder.

Phillips wrote on Facebook, "Biden does not even KNOW my child’s name – it [sic] pathetic!"

Biden's administration waited nearly a week to address Riley's murder, and it was a short press release from the White House that Republicans rebuked as "sad" and "pathetic."

Days after her death, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp blasted Biden over his immigration policies in response to Riley's killing.

The grieving mother's criticism of President Biden on Friday was in response to a Facebook post celebrating the passage of the Laken Riley Act that was introduced by Rep. Mike Collins (R-Ga.).

On Thursday, the House of Representatives passed the bill honoring the slain college student in a 251-170 vote, with 37 Democrats joining all of the Republicans present in voting "yes."

The bill would require ICE to detain any illegal alien who committed burglary or theft.

The suspect alleged to have brutally murdered Riley is Jose Antonio Ibarra – an illegal immigrant from Venezuela.

More than six months before Riley’s murder, Ibarra was reportedly arrested in New York City and charged with acting in a manner to injure a child less than 17 and a motor vehicle license violation.

In October 2023, Ibarra was arrested for shoplifting but was not turned over to ICE agents by police in Athens, Georgia. The city had declared itself to be a sanctuary city, so Ibarra was released from jail instead of being turned over to agents with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Ibarra never showed up to court for the changes, and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said the 26-year-old Venezuelan national was arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection on Sept. 8, 2022, after he unlawfully entered the United States near El Paso, Texas.

Earlier this week, Phillips made her first public comments about her daughter's tragic murder.

The distraught mother said, "My family has faced the most devastating, unimaginable loss that anyone could ever be force to endure."

Phillips added, "I would like to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for being with me and my family during this heartbreaking time."
