BlazeTV host Steve Deace offers full-throated endorsement of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for president

BlazeTV host Steve Deace has endorsed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for president, throwing his support behind the White House hopeful during an episode of "The Steve Deace Show" during which he also interviewed the Sunshine State governor.

Deace said that he has never seen an individual who, on matters that will determine the future for people's kids and grandkids, "has more knowledge, more willingness, more resume in understanding them, what to do about them, and then actually doing them."

During remarks on Deace's show, DeSantis said the U.S. needs "a new birth of freedom," which he said includes tossing President Joe Biden's regulations, "declaring economic independence from the Chinese Communist Party," and securing the border. DeSantis also said he would "bring a reckoning for the COVID-19 policies," "take on the woke agenda," and "restore the military to mission first."

ENDORSED: Why Ron DeSantis Is the STRONG Leader America Needs | Guest: Ron DeSantis | 8/11/23 www.youtube.com

DeSantis noted in a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, that he is honored to get Deace's endorsement.

"I'm honored to receive the endorsement from the great @SteveDeaceShow," DeSantis tweeted. "Like so many Iowans, Steve knows the time for excuses is over. We will get the job done in 2024!"

"Thank you @RonDeSantis for earning my support, by proving in the field of battle you are the strongest leader in this race for my kids, and they desperately need a strong America. It is time to not just market and message MAGA — but to actually do the MAGA. 2024 is a must win," Deace responded.

Polling indicates that former President Donald Trump has been trouncing the rest of the GOP presidential primary field, with DeSantis — who decisively won re-election last year during Florida's 2022 gubernatorial election contest — trailing in a distant second place.

Steve Deace breaks down why lefty Twitter is TRIGGERED over Musk reinstating Trump, and it's not what you'd think

The left-wing Twittersphere has been steadily melting down in the weeks after Elon Musk took control of the platform. For years, Twitter has held a reputation for forcing conservative voices to be silenced, but now, the pendulum appears to be swinging in a new direction.

BlazeTV's Steve Deace has a theory about why the left is so mad: "They aren't playing for the next election," Steve explained, "they are angry that Elon musk has expanded the Overton window. He is not taking their cues of what is acceptable to be discussed and who is acceptable to consume. He is making his own choices for his reasons."

Steve makes a case for why he believes the left is playing for something "more transcendent than electoral politics." "They are playing for raw power," Steve said. "That is why they are losing their minds over Trump being brought back ... because there is no justification for not reinstating others like Alex Jones, Project Veritas, and others."

"[Trump] is the gateway drug to even up this fight again where information flows — Twitter," Steve said. He added that Elon appears to have a single motivation that is making Twitter successful.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg is the UNSUNG HERO of the pro-life movement

The Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade gave many conservatives hope that America's future might not be lost entirely.

While many Americans remain in shock over this unexpected decision, BlazeTV's Steve Deace took a few moments on today's episode of the "Steve Deace Show" to share his list of the top ten people and groups to thank for helping to pave this road that finally led us to remove the federal government from the conversation about life.

Steve's list begins with thanking God and ends with one of his best trolls of all time. Watch the clip for the complete list.

1. Thank God

Thank God for all the various dominos and timing that had to fall into place. This is Romans 8:28 in action, said Deace, so thank him first and foremost.

2. Thank Donald J. Trump

Thank Donald J. Trump. How many of us would ever have thought Trump would be the president responsible for overturning Roe? Given the moral gravity of this overdue SCOTUS decision, Deace believes that Trump's appointment of SCOTUS justices will go down in history as one of the most important actions taken by an American president since the desegregation of public schools under Eisenhower.

3. Thank the Founding Fathers

Thank our Founding Fathers for the Constitution. The Constitution still works when used correctly.

4. Thank states like Mississippi

Thank states like Mississippi. After Casey 30 years ago, Mississippi rose to the challenge of Roe.

5. Thank Pro-life Activists

Thank the pro-life activists who compelled SCOTUS to overturn Roe. These patriots have made many enemies by forcing the courts to define what a person is in the eyes of the court. These people answered the call to stand up for life over the decades, and their efforts have not been in vain.

6. Thank Justices Thomas and Alito

Thank Justices Thomas and Alito for their influential opinions.

7. Thank Conservative Activists

Thank the conservative activists who stood against George W. Bush and demanded Alito instead of Harriet Miers.

8. Thank the Supreme Court Justices

Thank the Supreme Court justices who voted to overturn Roe and for standing up for life instead of cowering to the threats made by leaking the opinion to the media and a violent mob.

9. Thank Yourselves

Thank yourselves.

10. Thank Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Thank the unsung hero, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She clutched her seat beyond the Obama administration into Trump's White House. Had she not kept that seat until the bitter end, Trump would not have had the chance to fill her seat with a pro-life justice.

"Our modern-day Margret Sanger, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, has become one of the most significant pro-life justices of all time," said Deace with a smirk.

To commemorate Ginsburg's contribution to the pro-life movement, Deace tweeted:

Come celebrate the unsung hero of the #ProLife movement, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, because had she not stubbornly stayed on SCOTUS for so long, Trump couldn't have appointed her successor and overturned Roe! Use promo code "Deace10" for a discount!https://t.co/BJpiaxmZlq

Tucker Carlson and Steve Deace analyze Fauci's COVID diagnosis

Regardless of your vaccination status, you will see value in this conversation with BlazeTV's Steve Deace, host of "Steve Deace Show." On Thursday, Steve joined "Tucker Carlson Tonight." He discussed his take on Dr. Anthony Fauci's COVID diagnosis.

"It's all about power and control. If it were about science, they'd be a lot more transparent, a lot more honest, and a hell of a lot more humble," Deace told Tucker. Watch the video to hear more of the conversation.

The CDC website states that the COVID vaccine is safe and effective, and you should ask your doctor if the COVID vaccine is suitable for you.

Twitter reverses course after censoring conservative commentator Allie Beth Stuckey: 'It appears we made an error'

Twitter reversed course after it slapped down Allie Beth Stuckey, host of BlazeTV's "Relatable," for supposedly violating the company's rules prohibiting "hateful conduct."

"Our support team has reviewed your account and it appears we made an error. We've determined there was no violation and have restored your account to full functionality," Twitter said, according to a screenshot that Stuckey posted. "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate you taking the time to submit your appeals request to us."

“For those who didn’t know. Got kicked out of Twitter for this. 😬 I appealed it”
— Allie Beth Stuckey (@Allie Beth Stuckey) 1655169904

Twitter had locked the account in response to a tweet in which Stuckey commented about Fox News airing a pro-transgender puff piece about a biological girl living as a boy.

"I’m stunned that Fox News ran a segment celebrating a girl whose parents 'transitioned' her into a boy when she was 5 because she apparently told them she was a boy 'before [she] could talk.' Absolutely maddening & heartbreaking," Stuckey wrote in the tweet.

“I’m stunned that Fox News ran a segment celebrating a girl whose parents “transitioned” her into a boy when she was 5 because she apparently told them she was a boy “before [she] could talk.” Absolutely maddening & heartbreaking. https://t.co/T8k1QQS6uH”
— Allie Beth Stuckey (@Allie Beth Stuckey) 1654876263

During the package, Fox News reporter Bryan Llenas said in a voice over that, "Before Ryland could even speak, he managed to tell his parents that he is a boy."

"What extraordinary courage displayed by Ryland, his sister Brynley, father Jeff, and mom Hillary," Llenas said after the end of the package. "People are afraid of what they do not understand, Dana. This family hopes their story will lead to more understanding, more acceptance, and ultimately more love."

Twitter has a history of taking action against accounts that challenge the dogmas of radical leftist gender ideology.

"Another 'error' but only after a bunch of high profile accounts agitated on your behalf. Funny how many 'errors' twitter makes in the one direction," Rita Panahi tweeted regarding Twitter's reversal.

"Exactly. And I’m thankful for the agitators - @gastonmooney @SethDillon @josh_hammer @SteveDeaceShow @BlazeTV @benshapiro & others," Stuckey responded.

Gavin Newsom gushes with 'vaccine gratefulness.' Steve Deace fires back with perfect insult!

California Governor Gavin Newsom tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend, and he made sure to update Twitter with his current condition.

"This AM, I tested positive for COVID-19 and am currently experiencing mild symptoms. Grateful to be vaccinated & for treatments like Paxlovid. I'm following health guidelines and will be isolated while I work remotely. Wishing everyone a safe & healthy Memorial Day weekend," Newsom tweeted.

The nation will rest easier knowing Newsom is experiencing unremarkable symptoms and is feeling grateful for vaccines. Steve Deace of "Steve Deace Show" took the opportunity to poke fun at Newsom's hostage-like message.

I’m pregnant but grateful for my birth control, otherwise I’d be having triplets. https://t.co/YjCDtNqPPe
— Steve Deace (@SteveDeaceShow) May 28, 2022

"I'm pregnant but grateful for my birth control. Otherwise, I'd be having triplets," Deace snarked.

Maybe there's a memo that goes out whenever a vaccinated person (boosted or not) contracts the virus for which they were vaccinated against to tell social media they're grateful for the vaccine because otherwise they'd have contracted the virus worse somehow. Because Gavin Newsom is just another participant in the long line of "I'm grateful for this vaccine because otherwise I'd have been sicker from this virus I now have."

Deace's analogy is a helpful reminder that when preventative measures do little to prevent that which it was intended to prevent, extolling gratitude isn't the best way to highlight success. But it is a funny way to illustrate failure.

Steve Deace had a busy episode after the Memorial weekend. On Tuesday's episode of "Steve Deace Show," Steve kicked the short work week off with a recap of what happened over the three-day weekend.

Video summary

In Uvalde, Texas, details surrounding the police response to last week's mass school shooting at Rob Elementary continue to shock the public. As Aaron explained, it was confirmed the shooter arrived at the school and entered through an unlocked back door shortly after crashing his pickup. Aaron added that police did not gather inside the school until at "least 20 minutes later."

Children were trapped inside until a border patrol officer grew tired of waiting for the police to move on the shooter, then took fate into his own hands. The gunman is reported as having been a loner who made online threats to rape, kidnap, and kill teen girls. Those threats were apparently ignored. Pictures have also surfaced of the shooter allegedly going around town with "a bag of dead cats." That behavior was also apparently ignored.

Unrelated, the NRA held an event in Texas where Donald Trump spoke about the tragedy in Uvalde:

"The monster who committed this crime is pure evil, cruelty, and hatred. And while those killed are now with God in heaven, he [the shooter] will be eternally damned to burn in the fires of Hell. There will always be sick and demonic souls who wish to harm the innocent and see malice triumph over good. And I have that, but the existence of evil in our world is not a reason to disarm law-abiding citizens who know how to use their weapons and can protect many people. The existence of evil is one of the very best reasons to arm law-abiding citizens."

In other news, Canada's "Boy King" Justin Trudeau announced that Canada plans to introduce legislation to implement a national freeze on handgun ownership. The legislation will make it impossible to buy, sell, transfer, or import handguns anywhere in Canada by capping off the market.

Despite mask mandate ruling Roland Martin declares that he is 'double masked and wearing goggles' for his flight

After U.S. District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle issued a decision on Monday that slapped down a federal mandate that required people to wear face masks on public transportation, Roland Martin posted a photo of himself "double masked" for a flight on Tuesday.

"I don’t give a damn what some grossly unqualified Donald Trump judge said, I’m double masked and wearing goggles on this Nashville to DC flight. I had COVID in December. Y’all can KISS MY ASS about me not wanting it again. And any fool saying they don’t matter is a damn liar," Martin declared, while sharing a photo of himself on the plane.

Ben Shapiro responded to Martin's tweet by remarking, "You, sir, are a hero."

Martin replied, "And you @benshapiro are a fool."

In another tweet Martin wrote, "Y’all notice folks like @benshapiro @majtoure @mattmurphyshow and their childish, ignorant followers have forgotten all of those conservative radio talk show hosts who died of COVID. Feel free killing each other off with your stupidity surrounding COVID."

BlazeTV host Steve Deace of "The Steve Deace Show" retweeted Roland's post and wrote, "Pictured: what’s happened to American manhood."

In one of several tweets in a thread, Martin fired back, "You right wing #MAGA idiots are stupid, and so are the fools who listen to you. You punks claim to be pro-life, but tell me about those conservative talkers dead due to COVID?"

Shall we go on @SteveDeaceShow? You right wing #MAGA idiots are stupid, and so are the fools who listen to you. You punks claim to be pro-life, but tell me about those conservative talkers dead due to COVID? @hermancain? Add him to the conservative talker dead of COVID list 2/5
— rolandsmartin (@rolandsmartin) 1650432147

In replies to various comments on his post, Martin noted that he was wearing an N95 mask underneath of his other mask.

Some people highlighted a photo that showed Martin and another individual posing together maskless, but Martin fired back.

"Two people who know each other and no one in 10 feet of us. And masks back on after the photo. Y’all are idiots," he wrote in one tweet. "Yep. Two people who are fully vaxxed, who know each other, standing next to each other and no one around us. Dumb ass," he wrote in another tweet.

Yep. Two people who are fully vaxxed, who know each other, standing next to each other and no one around us. Dumb ass
— rolandsmartin (@rolandsmartin) 1650418222

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has asked the Department of Justice to appeal the court ruling regarding the mask mandate.

"To protect CDC’s public health authority beyond the ongoing assessment announced last week, CDC has asked DOJ to proceed with an appeal in Health Freedom Defense Fund, Inc., et al., v. Biden, et al," the agency said in a statement on Wednesday. "It is CDC’s continuing assessment that at this time an order requiring masking in the indoor transportation corridor remains necessary for the public health. CDC will continue to monitor public health conditions to determine whether such an order remains necessary. CDC believes this is a lawful order, well within CDC’s legal authority to protect public health."

With Lawmakers like this, what could go wrong — besides everything?

Ukrainian President. Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed Congress this morning, partly in English, and seemingly tried, once again, to drag America into a third world war.

"We need you right now. Remember Pearl Harbor? The terrible morning of December 7, 1941, when your sky was black from the planes attacking you? I'm addressing President Biden. You are the leader. I wish you to be the leader of the world. Being the world leader means being the leader of peace," Zelenskyy said.

On Wednesday's episode of "Steve Deace Show," the popular segment called "What Happened While We Were Away" highlights recent moments that many would consider embarrassing. But our brave elected officials powered through their incoherent statements and lies with their chins held high, leaving the rest of us to wonder, what could go wrong — besides everything?

Last week, Nancy Pelosi held a press conference where she made the following statement:

"Putin is trying to bait the trap, and that could be the beginning of World War III. Putin is totally irresponsible in using weapons that are not allowed under the Geneva convention. Putin, who threatens use of chemical weapons, nuclear and the rest ... myself, when I see those tanks ... I'd like to take out those tanks ... but I am not a military strategist."

You are probably asking yourself, "what did I just read? Have I consumed alcohol and wasn't aware of it?" You aren't alone.
