Coca-Cola deletes mention of Black Lives Matter donations off web page about fighting 'racial injustice'

Coca-Cola deleted mentions of donations the company had made to Black Lives Matter on a web page related to social justice in relation to BLM's "voting education" initiatives.

The removed references were noticed by Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz, who made note of the change on his X account, saying the brand had been "caught red handed."

"CocaCola deletes its support for BLM. One screenshot is of CocaCola's website before BLM supported Hamas parachuting into a concert to kill Israeli civilians. The other is from this morning. Editing your website is not enough. Americans DEMAND an apology," the senator wrote.

A screenshot before the removal showed Coca-Cola had written that "the brand [Sprite] also donated $500,000 to the Black Lives Matter Global Network to support the group's voting education efforts and their February 2021 Black Future Month program to empower the next generation of Black youths."

That factoid had since been removed.

Coca-Cola did not remove its quote from brand lead Aaliyah Shafiq: "We're in this for the long haul," Shafiq said. "Lasting change will not happen overnight, so we're committed to continuing to amplify the voices and efforts of our community, to listen and learn, and to actively help create a better shared future for America."

BLM has faced criticism after multiple chapters of the organization showed support for the Palestinian government, most notably BLM Chicago, which shared an imagine of a paraglider with a Palestinian flag attached to a parachute.

The image has since been deleted but was captured by the Post Millennial.

The founder of BLM Los Angeles also shared a post on Instagram that said "Free Palestine."

Coca-Cola made a separate move in May 2023 that appeared to signal a desire to disconnect from controversial issues. Shareholders rejected a proposal by a nonprofit to conduct a survey on how abortion restrictions may have impacted the company's business in Republican states.

The proposal claimed that women who don't have access to abortion are more likely to leave the workforce, but the soda giant rejected the need for greater research, saying its own "robust risk management processes" are able to address any such concerns.

White House accuses GOP officials of 'creating chaos' and 'confusion' by sending 50 migrants to Martha's Vineyard. Ted Cruz says, 'Now try 4.2 million.'

The White House on Thursday lashed out at Republican elected officials for sending illegal immigrants to Democrat-run sanctuary cities like Martha's Vineyard, Mass., and Washington, D.C., with press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre delivering a stream of invectives denouncing actions by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), as well as several GOP senators.

"Using migrants as political pawns is shameful, is reckless, and just plain wrong," Jean-Pierre told reporters at a press briefing. "If these governors truly care about border security, they should ask Texas Governor Ted Cruz and Florida Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott why they voted against the president's request for record funding for the Department of Homeland Security."

She said there is a legal process in place for processing asylum-seekers into the U.S. and that Republican governors are "creating chaos" and "confusion" by interfering with that process.

A DeSantis spokeswoman told Fox News Wednesday that two planes full of migrants were sent from Florida to Martha's Vineyard as part of a state relocation program to carry illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities. Officials from Dukes County, Massachusetts, later confirmed that about 50 individuals from Venezuela were delivered at Martha's Vineyard Airport seeking shelter, referring to the situation as a "humanitarian crisis."

Additionally, two buses carrying migrants arrived at Vice President Kamala Harris' residence in Washington, D.C., on Thursday morning. Texas Gov. Abbott took credit for sending the migrants in a statement promising to continue sending migrants to sanctuary cities until the federal government secures the border.

"Our supposed Border Czar, VP Harris, has yet to see firsthand the impact of the open border policies she has helped implement," Abbott tweeted. "Texas will continue sending migrants to sanctuary cities like D.C. until Biden & Harris do their jobs to secure the border."

The actions by the Republican governors provoked a meltdown by liberals on social media. Jean-Pierre blasted the GOP governors, calling the migrant drop-offs a "cruel premeditated political stunt."

“It’s really just disrespectful to humanity. It is — it doesn’t afford them any dignity, what they’re doing, when you’re abandoning families and children in a place where they were told they were going to get housing, in a place where they were told they were going to get jobs,” Jean-Pierre said. “It is just cruel.”

Responding to the outrage, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) mocked Jean-Pierre for incorrectly stating his office.

"To be fair, sending anyone to be surrounded by rich, hypocritical liberals is pretty cruel & inhumane," Cruz said in response to her criticisms.

Earlier, the Texas senator applauded the actions by DeSantis and Abbott and accused Democrats in Martha's Vineyard of hypocrisy.

"Kudos to @GovRonDeSantis for sending illegal immigrants to Martah's Vineyard. When I proposed the same last year, the elected leadership welcomed it," Cruz said.

“1/x Kudos to ⁦@GovRonDeSantis⁩ for sending illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard.

When I proposed the same last year, the elected leadership welcomed it:

County commissioner Keith Chatinover: “I would LOVE Martha’s Vineyard to become a haven…” https://t.co/R1FyL5URCJ”
— Ted Cruz (@Ted Cruz) 1663251669

He referenced legislation he introduced last year called the "Stop the SURGE Act," which would have established 13 new points of entry for migrants in sanctuary city jurisdictions, including Martha's Vineyard. Cruz recalled that at the time, Dukes County Commissioner Keith Chatinover (D) welcomed immigrants to come to Martha's Vineyard.

“I would love Martha’s Vineyard to become a haven for new immigrants to this country, but Senator Cruz has no idea what he’s talking about regarding a ‘border crisis,’” Chatinover told the Martha's Vineyard Times in October 2021.

"Let’s see if the Dems in Martha’s Vineyard feel the same way after a few thousand illegal immigrants arrive on their doorstep," Cruz said Thursday morning.

Chatinover responded hours later, tweeting, "when refugees showed up on our shores, we provided them with food and shelter—not cages and family separations."

— Keith Chatinover (@Keith Chatinover) 1663254092

On Wednesday, the Democratic local official berated DeSantis for sending migrants to Martha's Vineyard "to prove a political point."

"The island can and will do everything we can to support them, including myself as an elected official. But the fact that you did this, without consulting us and allowing us to prepare for their arrival, is dangerous and disgusting," he said in a tweet thread calling out DeSantis.

"Islanders writ large support refugee resettlement, but we can’t help in that process if we are given no advance notice. Our governments weren’t at all prepared for this and proving a point by endangering lives is gross," Chatinover added.

However, Cruz repeatedly pointed out that while Democrats may be congratulating themselves for coming together to care for 50 people, and attacking Republicans for sending them without warning, the reality of border towns in the United States is that more than 4.2 million illegal immigrants have crossed into this country since President Joe Biden took office. Those towns are overwhelmed, and Republicans say the White House is contributing to the crisis by failing to secure the border.

IRS pinky-promises 87,000 more employees won't lead to more audits

"Imagine thousands of IRS agents descending upon America like a swarm of locusts!" That was the imagery Ted Cruz used on Wednesday to describe Democrat bill peddled by Sen. Chuck Schumer and Sen. Joe Manchin.

Of course, the always honest New York Times published an article claiming that the IRS pinky-promises 87,000 more employees will not lead to more audits. According to the New York Times, Charles P. Rettig, the Internal Revenue Service commissioner, said the agency would use $80 billion to modernize technology and crack down on wealthy tax evaders.

“These resources are absolutely not about increasing audit scrutiny on small businesses or middle-income Americans. As we have been planning, our investment of these enforcement resources is designed around Treasury’s directive that audit rates will not rise relative to recent years for households making under $400,000,” Rettig explained in a letter to Congress.

But according to Cruz, the bill aims at small businesses and individuals. "The Democrats' idea is that if they audit the hell out of Americans, think of all the money they can raise," said Cruz.

The Senate will take up the climate, health, and tax bill on Saturday.

Schumer-Manchin would fund 87,000 IRS agents.

— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) August 3, 2022

What's in the bill?

TheBlaze reported that the spending bill would advance a progressive agenda with items including:

 • Raising taxes by instituting a minimum corporate tax rate of 15%, which Democrats estimate will raise just $313 billion of revenue.
 • Beefing up IRS tax enforcement to raise $124 billion.
 • Permitting Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices, raising a projected $288 billion.
 • Spending $369 billion on "energy security and climate change."

Of course, the New York Times did what it does and found a way to blame former president Donald Trump.

"The agency’s scrutiny has crossed party lines, according to the I.R.S. inspector general. But it came under fire again last month after The New York Times reported that James B. Comey, the former F.B.I. director, and his deputy, Andrew G. McCabe — both perceived enemies of former President Donald J. Trump — faced rare, exhaustive audits during the Trump administration. The I.R.S. said Mr. Rettig had not been involved in the audits," The NYT wrote.

Democratic lawmaker calls Republican Sen. Ted Cruz a 'f[***]ing baby killer' in the wake of a deadly Texas school shooting

On the heels of a deadly mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas on Tuesday, Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego of Arizona blasted GOP Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, calling him a "baby killer."

"F[***] you @tedcruz you care about a fetus but you will let our children get slaughtered. Just get your ass to Cancun. You are useless," Gallego tweeted.

Gallego made the comment in response to a tweet that quoted Cruz as saying "when there's a murderer of this kind, you see politicians try to politicize it, you see Democrats and a lot of folks in the media whose immediate solution is to try to restrict the constitutional rights of law abiding citizens."

"Just to be clear fuck you @tedcruz you fucking baby killer," Gallego added in another post.

Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and others pounced in response to a tweet in which Cruz said that he and his wife were praying for kids and families in the wake of the shooting.

"Heidi & I are fervently lifting up in prayer the children and families in the horrific shooting in Uvalde. We are in close contact with local officials, but the precise details are still unfolding. Thank you to heroic law enforcement & first responders for acting so swiftly," Cruz tweeted.

Ocasio-Cortez replied by tweeting, "Aren’t you slated to headline a speaking gig for the NRA in three days - in Houston, no less? You can do more than pray. Faith without works is dead."

"Their blood, your hands," George Takei declared in response to Cruz's tweet.

Roland Martin called Cruz "trash."

Rob Reiner took to Twitter after the mass shooting to blame the GOP for children being killed by guns. "The blood of every child that dies of gun violence in this country is on the hands of the Republican Party," Reiner tweeted.

Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell of California said that anybody who proposes additional firearms as a solution to the problem of shootings is "a sociopath."

"We’ve had 2 decades of doing things the GOP-NRA way, maybe it’s time we tried something else because this sure as s[***] is not working and the body count is only growing. If you’re response to these mass shootings is “we need more guns,” you’re a sociopath," Swalwell tweeted.

Ted Cruz GRILLS Ketanji Brown Jackson on CRT. Twitter reacts: 'That's racist'

During Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's Supreme Court confirmation hearing on Tuesday, Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) grilled Jackson about her views on critical race theory.

Jackson first denied ever having studied critical race theory and claimed it “doesn’t come up in the work that I do as a judge.”

"I've never studied critical race theory, and I've never used it. It doesn't come up in the work that I do as a judge," Jackson stated.

"With respect, I find that a curious statement," Cruz responded. He then read a quote from her saying that critical race theory is, in fact, part of her work as judge during a speech at the University of Chicago in 2015.

"[S]entencing is just plain interesting ... because it melds together myriad types of of law — criminal law ... constitutional law, [and] critical race theory ..." read Jackson's quote, according to Cruz.

"You described, in a speech to a law school, what you were doing as critical race theory," Cruz said. "So, I guess I would ask, what did you mean by that?"

Jackson said she was not talking about "sentencing" in her quote, but "sentencing policy," and repeated that "none of that relates to what I do as a judge."

Cruz then moved on to discussing Ibram X. Kendi’s children’s book, “Antiracist Baby.” Jackson is on the Board of Trustees at Georgetown Day School — a private school in Washington, D.C. — that Cruz claims assigns Kendi's book to students as young as four years old.

Pointing out that in “Antiracist Baby” Kendi says children should confess when being racist, Cruz asked Jackson, “Do you agree with this book that’s being taught with kids that babies are racist?"

After a long pause, Jackson answered, “I do not believe that any child should be made to feel as though they are racist, or as though they are not valued, or that they are less than, that they are victims, that they are oppressors. I don’t believe in any of that.”

Quite a few folks on Twitter took exception to Cruz's line of questioning:

The libs: You can't talk about critical race theory outside of a legal context.

Cruz: OK, I'll ask a Supreme Court nominee about critical race theory.

The libs: No, that's racist.

Should Cruz ask her about her high school yearbook?https://twitter.com/JordanUhl/status/1506344710176219151 …

Others took issue with Jackson's answers:

Ted Cruz Hammers Stephen Colbert: Rich Libs Using Kyle Rittenhouse to Take Away YOUR Right to Self Defense

Kyle Rittenhouse said he wasn't on trial, but that Americans' right to self-defense was on trial. As Stephen Colbert and Ted Cruz are about to show us, he was right. Unlike other idiot celebrities talking out of their rectums, as if they have no idea how the law works, Colbert admits he doesn't understand laws. But he wants them changed anyway. So the next time a law-abiding citizen finds himself attacked by three violent rioters, he can be killed. Colbert would rather that happen instead of the law-abiding citizen being allowed to protect himself.

M'kay. If the law was changed, Kyle Rittenhouse would be dead right now. Angry rioters, including the Democratic Party's favorite pedophile, made that clear. This delivery guy would be dead, too. As would anyone else who is unable to protect their families or themselves. Instead of using Kyle Rittenhouse to push the left's bullsh!t "white supremacy" talking points, they're going to use him to strip gun rights from law-abiding citizens.

Ted Cruz is not amused.

Rich Democrats believe you have no right to defend yourself from an angry mob.

This is obviously where the left is going next. Their attorneys have all warned them against calling Kyle a "white supremacist" and any of the other lies they've been spreading. The only thing left is a gun control push. Get ready.

Ted Cruz tells Lincoln Project 'pedophiles' to 'stop talking about my children' after group co-founder uses senator's kids as part of media attack

Republican Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) lashed out at the Lincoln Project on Monday after one of the anti-Trump political action committee's co-founders mentioned the senator's children during a media attack.

Cruz had apparently drawn the ire of the liberal super PAC, made up of former Republicans, after criticizing "Sesame Street's" COVID-19 vaccine campaign for young children as "government propaganda."

During an interview on MSNBC Monday night, Lincoln Project co-founder Steve Schmidt offered his seething opinion on the controversy, labeling Cruz's perspective on the campaign an example of "abject stupidity." In the attack, Schmidt felt it necessary to bring up the senator's children.

"If Ted Cruz had kids that age, the chances that they would be unvaccinated are exactly zero. Zero. So, this is another moment of just abject stupidity of a United States senator," he blasted.

The attack didn't sit well with Cruz, who, shortly after the Lincoln Project posted Schmidt's remarks on Twitter, responded with an attack of his own.

"The pedophiles at [Lincoln Project] need to stop talking about my children," Cruz wrote.

The pedophiles at @ProjectLincoln need to stop talking about my children.https://twitter.com/projectlincoln/status/1457885007251398658 …

— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) 1636425851

The rebuttal was a gut punch to the much-maligned organization that in recent months has grappled with several serious controversies.

The most notable controversy was the revelation that another one of the group's co-founders, John Weaver, had frequently sent "inappropriate" sexually charged messages to multiple young men over the course of his career in politics.

Weaver's admission that he engaged in the behavior came following public accusations from at least 21 young men who acknowledged that Weaver demonstrated grooming behavior by sending the messages alongside promises to advance their career.

It was later reported that PAC leadership was likely aware of the allegations against Weaver nearly a year before the scandal went public, despite issuing a statement saying the PAC was "shocked" when allegations began surfacing.

Following months of scandals that nearly sank the organization, Schmidt re-emerged into the public eye earlier this year to say that the Lincoln Project would continue its fight against "Trumpism."

"We're going to be back fully operational in our attacks on the extremist, anti-democratic movement," he declared. "We're going to be on offense and we're going to take the fight to people who deserve to have the fight taken to them."

Not so long after, the group was caught up in yet another controversy after being forced to admit that they were the perpetrators behind a bizarre campaign stunt involving a race hoax against Republican Glenn Youngkin during the Virginia gubernatorial race.

Big Bird promotes COVID-19 vaccine for children on CNN, Ted Cruz says 'Sesame Street' engaging in 'propaganda' targeting kids

"Sesame Street" has entered the culture wars. There was swift kickback after "Sesame Street" launched a campaign to push for children as young as five to get the COVID-19 vaccine, which included a CNN town hall with the puppets. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) labeled the initiative to promote the pediatric COVID-19 vaccine as "government propaganda."

"Sesame Street" characters launched a coordinated campaign to promote the COVID-19 vaccine to kids last week. The initiative began days after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration authorized the emergency use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 through 11.

"Sesame Street" characters appeared on a CNN town hall on Saturday morning titled "The ABCs of COVID Vaccines." The town hall was hosted by CNN chief medical correspondent Sanjay Gupta and CNN anchor Erica Hill, who answered questions about the pediatric COVID-19 vaccine from the hand puppets.

Beloved characters such as Big Bird, Elmo, Grover, and Oscar the Grouch advocated for children to get the COVID-19 vaccine. The official accounts posted messages on Twitter. Coincidentally, the social media platform requires people using the service to be 13 years of age or older.

Other conservative commenters were concerned that the children's TV show was promoting the newly-approved COVID-19 vaccine for kids.

Newsmax host Steve Cortes: "This kind of propaganda is actually evil. Your children are not statistically at risk, and should not be pressured into a brand new treatment. Do Not Comply!"

Author Brigitte Gabriel: "Sesame Street is now indoctrinating toddlers. What a disgrace."

Political commentator Lauren Chen: "Who is the target of the Sesame Street vaccine outreach? Parents who trust Elmo & Big Bird with their children's medical decisions? Toddlers who are on Twitter and tune in to CNN? It makes no sense."

Podcast host Liz Wheeler: "I love how the same people who don't want us to listen to Joe Rogan & Aaron Rodgers about the covid vaccine, want us to listen to Big Bird & Elmo."

Radio host Larry O'Connor: "'Mommy, Daddy... Big Bird says I should get the shot to keep the Muppets safe! Why won't you let me get it?'"

Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe: "Brainwashing children who are not at risk from COVID. Twisted."

Previously, Joe Rogan questioned Gupta about the statistical risks of children being infected with COVID-19, which the neurosurgeon didn't offer many answers.

In U.S. children ages 5-11, there have been 94 COVID-19 deaths (1.7% of all deaths among U.S. children ages 5–11) between Jan. 1, 2020, and Oct. 18, 2021, according to the CDC.

Last week, Pfizer released a commercial that characterized young children who participated in the COVID-19 vaccine trial as "superheroes." The controversial commercial from the multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology corporation was also described as "propaganda" aimed at children.

UPDATE: FAA temporarily grounds Fox News drone after it captures viral images of thousands of migrants at border; Ted Cruz reacts: 'Ridiculous,' 'never seen anything like that'

Update 9/17/2021, 2:40 p.m. ET: The Federal Aviation Administration announced on Friday afternoon that Fox News was cleared to fly a drone over Del Rio, Texas, after previously announcing flight restrictions in the area. "Fox News applied this morning and has received clearance to operate from now until the end of September in the restricted airspace linked below," the FAA said.

The Federal Aviation Administration authorized a flight restriction at the U.S. southern border shortly after images of thousands of migrants taken by a Fox News drone went viral.

On Thursday morning, Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin shared on Twitter a photo taken by a drone.

"Our drone is back over the international bridge in Del Rio, TX," the popular tweet read. "Per source, the number of migrants waiting to be processed has now swelled to approx 8,200. It was 4,000 yesterday AM. Doubled in one day. BP overwhelmed, & I'm told situation is 'out of control.'"

However, less than 12 hours later, Melugin reported that the FAA had implemented a two-week flight restriction in the area where thousands of illegal immigrants were congregating.

"We've learned that the FAA just implemented a two week TFR (Temporary Flight Restrictions) over the international bridge in Del Rio, TX, meaning we can no longer fly our FOX drone over it to show images of the thousands of migrants," the reporter stated.

Melugin said the FAA instituted the flight restriction because of a "special security reason."

Melugin noted, "Fox News has been covering the border nonstop for almost 7 months now, we use the drone constantly, and it has never been an issue."

The FAA issued a statement on Thursday evening, "The Border Patrol requested the temporary flight restriction due to drones interfering with law enforcement flights on the border. As with any temporary flight restriction, media is able to call the FAA to make requests to operate in the area."

On Friday afternoon, the FAA provided clearance to Fox News to fly in the area.

Melugin appeared on "Tucker Carlson Tonight," where he said, "It has never been an issue. All of a sudden, the last 24 hours, we start showing these images at this bridge and a TFR goes up [and] we can no longer fly."

He told host Tucker Carlson, "Unfortunately for those agents on the ground, they are completely overwhelmed. They need some serious help right now, and hopefully, they get it from the federal government."

Melguin said the throng of migrants swelled to over 10,000 at the Del Rio International Bridge.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection said it is dedicating more resources to the overwhelmed Del Rio Sector.

"The Border Patrol is increasing its manpower in the Del Rio Sector and coordinating efforts within DHS and other relevant federal, state and local partners to immediately address the current level of migrant encounters and to facilitate a safe, humane and orderly process," CBP said in a statement. "To prevent injuries from heat-related illness, the shaded area underneath Del Rio International Bridge is serving as a temporary staging site while migrants wait to be taken into USBP custody."

"Drinking water, towels, and portable toilets have been delivered for migrants to use while they await to be transported to a facility," CBP said.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) confirmed the large number of illegal immigrants at the border bridge in a post on Twitter, which he described as a "Biden Border Crisis."

"10,503 illegal aliens are under this bridge tonight because Joe Biden made a political decision to cancel deportation flights to Haiti," Cruz wrote. "The Border Patrol is over capacity. It's indefensible, it's inhuman, and it was entirely caused by Biden & Harris."

Cruz posted a video of the massive crowd under the bridge, where he blamed the "man-made crisis" on the Biden administration.

"This is the result of a political decision," Cruz said. "This is the result that is indefensible. What we are seeing here, this is wrong. This is inhumane and this is entirely caused by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris."

Cruz called the flood of migrants at the border "the most horrific thing I've ever seen" during an appearance on "Hannity."

"It is packed in, it is a mass of humanity and it is, the scope of it, until you see it, they take your breath away because it just goes on and on and on. Infants, little children, people struggling enormously," Cruz told host Sean Hannity.

"Eight days ago on Sept. 8, under that same bridge, there were between 700 and a thousand people. That is what was coming a day, about a thousand, sometimes 1,100, but it would range between 700 and 1,100," Cruz said. "Then, eight days ago on Sept. 8, the Biden administration made a political decision. They announced that they were no longer going to fly deportation flights back to Haiti."

Cruz claimed that "85% of the people under there are from Haiti."

Regarding the FAA flight restriction near the bridge in Texas, Cruz said, "Really is ridiculous, I've never seen anything like that."

"The drone footage started this morning and people across the country were horrified, and I guess the political operatives at the Biden White House saw that and decided the last thing they want is Fox News actually reporting on what's happening down here," Cruz surmised.

"So, now the FAA is saying please, no journalists allowed," the Texas Republican added. "As you know, they did the same thing in the Donna tent facility in the Rio Grande Valley, where they wouldn't allow Fox News to come in when I brought 19 senators to the Rio Grande Valley, I had to go in with my cell phone and photograph and take videos."

Cruz addressed the issue of illegal immigrants, who may be COVID-positive, crossing the border.

"Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are absolute hypocrites," Cruz declared. "Those 10,000 people there, do you know how many Border Patrol has tested? Zero. Not a one. They don't have the capacity to do that."

It happened again: John Kerry disregards Biden administration's mask rules at Boston airport

White House special envoy on climate John Kerry was caught flouting the Biden administration's mask requirements at an airport for the second time this year, photos reported by the Washington Free Beacon show.

In the photos, Kerry can be seen going through security at the Boston Logan International Airport without wearing a mask. The photographs were taken at 11:41 a.m. Monday.

The Transportation Security Administration requires all Americans, even those who are vaccinated, to wear face coverings across all transportation networks in the United States, including at airports, onboard planes, on buses, and on trains. The face mask requirement went into effect Feb. 1 and was extended by President Joe Biden's administration through Sept. 13.

Anyone found to be in violation of the mask requirements is supposed to face fines of at least $250 and as much as $1,500 for repeat offenders.

This is the second time Kerry has been caught violating the federal government's order, apparently without consequence. In March, a maskless Kerry was photographed on an American Airlines flight. Kerry was widely criticized for breaking the rules and American Airlines released a statement claiming the airline would be "looking into" the incident.

Kerry eventually responded to his critics on social media, calling the uproar "malarkey" and claiming that "If I dropped my mask to one ear on a flight, it was momentary."

The Free Beacon confirmed with Logan Airport is in compliance with the TSA's mandate and masks are required "any time someone is inside the airport or on an aircraft," including when going through security.

The Biden White House, Kerry's office, and the TSA all declined to comment for the Free Beacon's report.

The TSA did state that its mask requirement "remains in effect" on planes and airports and "applies to all passengers, save for those specifically exempted in the security directive." Those exempted include children under the age of 2 or individuals with health issues that would prevent them from wearing face coverings.

Kerry's flagrant disregard for the Biden administration's rules, which every other American must follow, prompted a new round of criticism.

"Why do Biden/Kerry/Harris get to ignore their own made-up arbitrary rules?" Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) asked. "Here's an idea: follow the science, and let regular people follow the 'John Kerry Rules' too. END THE FEDERAL MASK REQUIREMENT FOR VACCINATED PEOPLE ON AIRPLANES! NOW!!"

There are some who want to end the federal government's public transit mask requirements. On Thursday, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) announced he would introduce legislation to repeal the requirements for masks on planes.

"Enough! Time to stop this farce and let people travel in peace!" Paul said.
