UFC legend Donald Cerrone sparks controversy for saying he enjoyed watching Russian Muslim fighters get beaten up in the gym

UFC Hall of Fame member Donald Cerrone caused some online hysterics after allegedly posting a video talking about Russian Muslim fighters.

Cerrone, nicknamed "Cowboy," allegedly posted a video discussing how he enjoyed watching fellow UFC alumnus Tim Kennedy beat on fighters who are from Dagestan, Russia. Fighters from the region are known to be particularly dominant in wrestling, with many success stories in mixed martial arts and the UFC.

Particularly, fighters such as Khabib Nurmagomedov or Islam Makhachev are praised. Nurmagomedov retired with an undefeated record and is seen as one of the best fighters of all time. Makhachev is currently the UFC 155-pound champion at the time of this writing.

'I hate them, but there's nothing I can do. I'm 155 pounds.'

In a video clip that was uploaded to X by outlet MMA Mania, Cowboy explained how he would revel in watching Kennedy "annihilate" fighters from that region while in his former gym, Jackson Wink MMA Academy.

"My favorite thing about Tim Kennedy is he's as American as apple pie. So we're at Jackson's, and if any of the Russian Muslim fighters would come in, old Timmy would take it upon himself to just take down, smother, and absolutely destroy these dudes," Cerrone said.

Cerrone continued, stating that due to his size, he wasn't able to throw around the Russians the same way Kennedy could.

"I'd be sitting there going, 'Get them, Tim.' He would annihilate them, and I'd love it. He would smile and laugh and rub their face in the mat. He'd do malicious s***. I’d be like, 'F*** yeah, Tim, that's what I'm talking about.' He'd come back and be like, 'I hate them.' I'd say, 'Me too. I hate them, but there's nothing I can do. I'm 155 pounds. That dude is 200 pounds, and you've just destroyed him.'"

Dagestan's best fighters are typically of the lower weight classes, especially Cerrone's, and this is likely the reason the fighter could not do his own bidding. Cerrone is a legendary fighter but was never able to win a title, finishing with a 36-17 record.

The original video of Cerrone's remarks was apparently uploaded to his YouTube channel but was seemingly deleted over the controversy. The exact reason is unknown. Neither Cerrone nor Kennedy have released statements on the matter. Cerrone has not used his X page since 2022 and has not addressed the remarks on his Instagram account (where he is active) either.

Cerrone has had a successful post-fighting acting career, appearing in many movies, including the Daily Wire's "Terror on the Prairie" alongside former fighter Gina Carano.

Democrat Tim Kennedy wins US House seat in New York special election

Democratic New York state Sen. Tim Kennedy has defeated West Seneca Supervisor Gary Dickson, a Republican, in a special election in the state's 26th Congressional District.

Kennedy's espouses pro-choice and pro-gun control policy positions, expressing support for an assault weapons ban and for the codification of Roe v. Wade into federal law.

"We did it. We did it as a COMMUNITY. Because that’s what this was all about since Day One. And that’s what it will always be about. I'm honored. I'm humbled. I'm ready to get to Washington and get to work. Thank you, endlessly. Let's meet this moment together," Kennedy said in a post on X.

Democratic Rep. Brian Higgins, who previously occupied the House seat, departed from office earlier this year before his term concluded. He had been serving in Congress since 2005.

Higgins announced his plan to step down last year. "I've always been a little impatient, and that trait has helped us deliver remarkable progress for this community. But the pace in Washington, D.C. can be slow and frustrating, especially this year," he said in a statement in November. "Therefore, after thoughtful consideration, I have made the difficult decision to leave Congress and explore other ways I can build up and serve Buffalo and Western New York."

The former lawmaker is now the president and CEO of Shea's Performing Arts Center.

Joe Rogan, Green Beret Tim Kennedy tackle schools grooming kids, Israel-Hamas war, and warn terror attack in US is imminent

Joe Rogan interviewed Green Beret Tim Kennedy on a wide variety of subjects, including schools grooming kids, the Israel-Hamas war, U.S. southern border crisis, and warned that a possible terror attack on U.S. soil is imminent.

On Wednesday's episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the prolific podcaster welcomed Tim Kennedy – a decorated Master Sergeant with the U.S. Army Green Berets, a Special Forces sniper, former UFC fighter, and co-founder of the Save Our Allies organization that has rescued Americans from dire circumstances around the globe.

Kennedy recently traveled to Israel to rescue American citizens stranded due to the ongoing war with Hamas.

Kennedy claimed that Russia and China want the U.S. citizenry to be fighting in the debate over siding with Israel and Hamas in an effort to stoke divisions.

Regarding the praise of Hamas terrorists as "freedom fighters," Kennedy shot back that they are "barbaric murderers and absolute terrorists that want nothing besides the genocide."

Kennedy warned that Americans are "gonna have a rough year" because we are "woefully unprepared" for a possible terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Kennedy warned that an attack could likely stem from terrorists crossing into the country through the U.S. southern border.

Kennedy told Rogan, "In light of what just happened in Israel, where they flew paragliders over borders, over walls, crashed through walls, and then they were able to kill 1,400 people in one day, and you look at that was 1,000 insurgents total."

"And then you look at the number of people that have been coming over the border for the past three years that we know are radicalized, that we know are on watch lists," Kennedy said. "It should scare you to death, the position that we're at. We're going to have a real bad year."

Speaking of the Israel-Hamas war, Kennedy said that if all the Hamas terrorists laid down their weapons that nothing would happen.

However, Kennedy noted that if Israel laid down their weapons that Hamas would "kill everyone single one – it's what they do, it's what they've sworn to do, that's their motto, that's the origin of their existence."

Kennedy stated that there would be Middle East peace if there was no Hamas.

Kennedy stressed that he was not "conflating Palestinians with the terrorists."

Kennedy described the humanitarian crisis at the U.S. southern border because of the massive flow of illegal immigrants.

The two men then discussed how young students are being groomed with inappropriate materials in school.

Rogan began, "It's so bizarre to me that a rejection of teaching like overt sexuality to young kids is somehow or another dismissed as anti-gay or anti-LBGTQ. It's so strange because you could never imagine heterosexual sex being discussed to 5-year-olds and 6-year-olds."

"But somehow or another it's okay if you're discussing gay sex," Rogan continued. "Like it's very strange."

Kennedy chimed in, "It's not strange. It's wrong. It's it's it's dangerous. It's a grooming behavior. If you're trying to if you're trying to broach any sexual topic with a child that is not of age to have sex – that is grooming. That is the definition of grooming right and grooming itself."

"You talk to my 8-year-old about anything sexual – hetero, homo, anything, it's wildly inappropriate," Kennedy said, adding that any type of behavior like that is "indoctrination."

On the topic of mass shootings, Rogan and Kennedy brought up the use of psychoactive drugs by mass shooters.

Rogan noted reports of the "prevalence of psychoactive drugs, the prevalence of psychiatric medications amongst school shooters, amongst mass shooters, that it is f**ing off the charts."

Rogan said the media attempts to "bury" the mass shootings by "using gang violence."

"There's a giant difference between gang violence mass shootings, which occur all the time, which is also something that no one's trying to fix, and then the actual people that strap themselves up and go into places where people are unarmed and just slaughter people," Rogan stated.

Rogan claimed that mass shooters are almost all of them are on "something," whether it be SSRIs or "some sort of anti-anxiety medication."

Blaze Media employee's husband still stuck in Israel as US government finally announces plan to help evacuate stranded Americans

As Israel wages war in response to heinous Hamas terror attacks that left many dead, some American citizens, including Blaze Media employee Ashton DeGroot's husband and brother-in-law, have been stuck in the Jewish state.

But on Thursday, the U.S. government finally announced plans to help facilitate the evacuation of people stranded in Israel.

DeGroot provided TheBlaze with a copy of a State Department email that her husband received regarding the plans.

"We are writing to update you on U.S. government assistance to depart Israel. We plan to offer transit options beginning on Friday, October 13, but it will take some period of time to schedule everyone seeking to depart. If you choose to take this departure assistance, transportation will be by air to Athens or Frankfurt, or sea from Haifa to Cyprus. You will not be able to choose your destination – we will assign you to the next available flight or ship," the email reads.

"You will be asked to sign an agreement to repay the U.S. government prior to departure. You should be prepared to arrange your own lodging and onward travel from Greece, Germany or Cyprus to your final destination," the email states.

NSC coordinator for strategic communications John Kirby said during a press briefing on Thursday that it is known that 27 Americans have been killed and 14 are unaccounted for.

"Starting Friday, October 13, the U.S. government will arrange charter flights to assist U.S. citizens and their immediate family members who have been unable to book commercial transit and seek a safe means of departing Israel. From these locations, individuals will be able to make their own onward travel arrangements to the destination of their choice. These initial transportation options will be augmented in the coming days," State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said in a statement.

But even before the government's announcement, people had already been filling the vacuum by helping Americans evacuate.

Save Our Allies, a group that was founded during the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, has been helping evacuate Americans from Israel, the group's president and founder Tim Kennedy, who is currently a master sergeant with the U.S. Army Special Forces, told TheBlaze.

Kennedy said that in addition to evacuating people from Israel, Save Our Allies is also working to fly medical supplies into the country.

"Hamas is evil," Kennedy said. "Hamas wants all Jews dead."

Hamas has committed atrocities. "Hamas terrorists bound, burned, and executed children," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said. Netanyahu has also said that there were kidnappings, including of children, that families were "wiped out in their beds" and that women were "brutally raped" and killed.

Republican Rep. Cory Mills of Florida has also been helping evacuate people out of Israel.

"If Biden and his administration won't prioritize American lives then I will step up and do his job for him! 77 Americans in 2 days safe and no longer trapped in Israel while Biden thinks of a plan," Mills tweeted. "This is the second country (Afghanistan 2021 & Israel 2023) we've had to save Americans because Biden had no plan and No leadership! This never happened under President Trump!"

Lawmakers on both sides of the political aisle had been pressuring the government to take action to help get Americans out of Israel.

"Since Hamas' indiscriminate attack on Israel Saturday morning, our offices have received harrowing reports from constituents who remain in Israel and are seeking to return to the United States as soon as possible," read an October 10 letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken that was signed by a bipartisan group of more than 100 lawmakers. They called for "the State Department to use all resources at its disposal, including charter flights, to help those Americans that remain in Israel and wish to return to the United States."
