Squad member Rashida Tlaib slams Biden at pro-Palestine conference attended by terrorist-linked group: 'You are an enabler'

One of the most vocal members of the group of Democrat congresswomen known as the Squad has once again publicly slammed Joe Biden for his handling of the war in Gaza initiated by an ambush on innocent Israelis on October 7.

On Saturday, Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who represents a district in southeast Michigan, made what the New York Post described as "a surprise appearance" at the People’s Conference for Palestine. Held at Huntington Place in Detroit — a city that Tlaib described as "the most beautiful, blackest city in the country" — the conference allegedly included speakers affiliated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, which the U.S. and other foreign governments have designated a terrorist organization.

'It is disgraceful that the Biden administration and my colleagues in Congress continue to smear them for protesting to save lives ... . It is cowardly. But we’re not gonna forget in November, are we?'

In her remarks, clips of which can be heard here, Tlaib repeatedly called out the Biden administration for failed leadership. She claimed that America's continued support for Israel has left American schools underfunded.

"Every single bullet, every single gun, every single weapon, bombs that we send is the sacrifice of our own schools here at home," she railed. "Many of which when I go into the schools have garbage bags over their drinking fountains because they don't have clean water.

"President Biden, I hope you hear us loud and clear."

She also took aim at Biden for insisting last week that Israel's retaliatory aggression into Rafah, where many Palestinian refugees were reportedly taking shelter, did not amount to genocide. "The International Court of Justice just ruled that the Israeli government must stop its invasion of Rafah," she continued. "But President Biden says what's happening in [inaudible] is not a genocide.

"Where's your red line, President Biden?"

Tlaib even claimed that Biden's criticism of the International Criminal Court for indicting Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant — as well as several leaders of Hamas — made Biden an "enabler" of genocide.

"Attacking the authority of the International Criminal Court and interfering in the legal process is nothing more than an attempt to prevent the genocidal maniac Netanyahu and senior Israeli officials from being held accountable for their crimes against humanity," she claimed.

"You are an enabler, President Biden."

Though Biden recently flirted with restricting weapons shipments to Israel, he ultimately reiterated that the U.S. and Israel remain firmly allied. "We'll always stand with Israel and its — in the threats against its security," he said.

Finally, Tlaib castigated Biden and other Democrats, whom she referred to as her "colleagues," for focusing on the violent protests that have sprung up on college campuses across the country in recent weeks rather than on the plight of Palestinians.

"They're more outraged [about] that than the atrocities happening right now on the ground and full of steam, the war crimes," she stated as the audience applauded and cheered.

She even claimed that Democrats may soon lose significant political power because of their continued support for Israel: "It is disgraceful that the Biden administration and my colleagues in Congress continue to smear them for protesting to save lives no matter faith or ethnicity. It is cowardly. But we’re not gonna forget in November, are we?"

Earlier this year, Tlaib encouraged Michigan Democrats to vote "uncommitted" in the state's primary. Whether she will ultimately back Biden during what promises to be a contentious battle for a second term remains to be seen.

The Biden-Harris campaign did not respond to the Post's request for comment.

‘Squad’ Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib Says She’s ‘Proud’ To Vote Against President Joe Biden In Primary

House floor drama: Tlaib takes aim at Netanyahu's actions

Rashida Tlaib becomes more radical by the day.

On February 6, she took to the house floor to brand Benjamin Netanyahu as someone she doesn't "really like” and echoed her anti-Israel agenda, which Mark Levin notes was full of outright lies.

“Sending 17.6 billion dollars, U.S. tax dollars, with no conditions attached to Netanyahu’s extremist government to drop more bombs on innocent Palestinians,” Tlaib yelled.

“It’s such a lie, it’s so grotesque,” Levin says.

“The Israeli government has already killed 27,000 people. 11,500 of them were children,” Tlaib continued. “I’m tired of my colleagues coming to me whispering, ‘I don’t really like Netanyahu.’ Well, then why are we sending him billions of dollars with no conditions?”

Levin couldn’t disagree more.

“They throw these numbers around because they know that their Hitlerian friends like her and in the media will regurgitate them,” he says, adding that the numbers she’s using are flat-out lies.

Tlaib then went on to say that Netanyahu is “telling us, over and over again, what his intention is.”

“His intention is to defeat your terrorist friends. Sounds pretty good to me,” Levin says, adding that “17 billion sounds pretty cheap, considering what they’re doing.”

“They’re the only ones fighting these people. They’re the only ones who stand between Iran and nukes and the United States, and unfortunately, Iran’s going to get nukes because the United States under Blinken and Biden wants them to have nukes,” Levin explains.

Tlaib votes present as House passes resolution condemning Hamas rapes

In a bipartisan, 418-0 vote, the House of Representatives passed a resolution on Wednesday decrying the rapes perpetrated by Hamas terrorists in the October 7 attacks against Israel. But Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan voted present.

The text of the resolution declares, in part, that the House "condemns all rape and forms of sexual violence as weapons of war, including those acts committed by Hamas terrorists on and since October 7th." Another portion of the resolution states that the chamber "calls on all international bodies to unequivocally condemn the barbaric murder, rape, sexual assault, and kidnapping by Hamas and other terrorists on and since October 7th, and hold accountable all perpetrators."

Tlaib said that although the resolution "rightfully denounces any sexual violence by Hamas, I am disturbed that it completely ignores and erases any sexual violence and abuse committed by the Israeli forces against Palestinians, especially children."

"There are numerous well-documented reports of sexual violence, including rape, committed by Israeli forces against Palestinians in their custody," she said.

Last year, the House voted 234-188 to censure Tlaib. Several lawmakers voted present.

She has claimed that "from the river to the sea is an aspirational call for freedom, human rights, and peaceful coexistence, not death, destruction, or hate."

Tlaib has called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a "Genocidal maniac," "murderer," and "war criminal."

The congresswoman is the "daughter of Palestinian immigrant parents," according to tlaib.house.gov.

Tlaib labels Israel's Netanyahu a 'genocidal maniac,' 'murderer,' and 'war criminal'

Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a "genocidal maniac," "murderer," and "war criminal."

"Genocidal maniac. Every member of Congress who sits down with this murderer is supporting a war criminal. We will never forget," Tlaib wrote.

Israel has been waging war in response to heinous attacks perpetrated by Hamas terrorists who kidnapped, raped, and murdered people.

In a recent op-ed, Netanyahu laid out three requirements to achieve peace between the Jewish state and Palestinians in Gaza: "Hamas must be destroyed, Gaza must be demilitarized, and Palestinian society must be deradicalized," he wrote.

"Israel does its best to minimize civilian casualties by dropping leaflets, sending text messages and using other means to warn Gazans to get out of harm’s way. Hamas by contrast does its utmost to keep Palestinians in harm’s way—often at gunpoint," Netanyahu stated.

Back in a 2021 tweet, Tlaib accused Israel of "war crimes led by the apartheid-in-chief Netanyahu."

While the expression "from the river to the sea" is widely regarded as a call to wipe out the Jewish state of Israel, Tlaib has claimed that it "is an aspirational call for freedom, human rights, and peaceful coexistence, not death, destruction, or hate."

The progressive congresswoman, who is the daughter of Palestinian immigrants, was censured in a 234-188 House vote last month.

While Tlaib and some other Democrats have been calling for a ceasefire, Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania has been strongly supportive of Israel as it seeks to eliminate Hamas.

"I grieve, and it's awful the incredible civilian deaths and the suffering. It's awful. War is hell, as they say. But only one side has used civilians as human shields. Only one side has broken the cease-fires. Only one side will systematically rape, torture and mutilate Israeli women and girls in the most unspeakable, awful ways. … Without destroying Hamas, there will be no enduring peace and a stable, two-state solution," Fetterman said, according to Politico.

When pressed on whether Netanyahu should remain in power, Fetterman said, "I don't have a vote in that. That's for the Israeli citizens. They have much more at stake. But what I can say [is] I believe that an overwhelming majority of Israeli citizens would want a senator standing with them and their right to destroy Hamas [and not] somebody that would splinter or peel away when things continue and as more and more antisemitism continues to go across college campuses, across our nation," the senator said, according to the outlet.
