NY Gov. Kathy Hochul announces plans to use 'surveillance' to monitor hate speech on social media

The woke state of New York is using “hate speech” and “safety” to justify monitoring citizens’ social media accounts using surveillance technology.

Gov. Kathy Hochul, who Sara Gonzales says “is in the competition for the worst ever,” recently came out with a statement claiming that New York is ramping up its surveillance protocols in an effort to counter online negativity.

“We're very focused on the data we're collecting from surveillance efforts – what's being said on social media platforms – and we have launched an effort to be able to counter some of the negativity and reach out to people when we see hate speech being spoken about on online platforms. … Our Social Media Analysis Unit has ramped up its monitoring of sites to catch incitement to violence [and] direct threats to others, and all this is in response to our desire, our strong commitment to ensure that not only do New Yorkers be safe but they also feel safe,” Hochul stated.

“Of course, she is saying this in relation to the anti-Semitic attacks that are going on,” says Sara, who acknowledges that the “pro-Palestine rallies that are happening [are] very, very unnerving,” but that doesn’t excuse the “problems with government monitoring your speech on social media.”

Sara astutely points out that this is coming from the same party that said Donald Trump “incited violence … on January 6 when he told people to peacefully and patriotically make their voices heard.”

That and the fact that people in the U.K. are literally being arrested for “deadnaming or misgendering someone online” in the name of “hate speech” has people concerned that Hochul’s efforts are about a lot more than just monitoring anti-Semitism.

The problem with policing people’s social media platforms for “hate speech” and “inciting violence” is the matter of who gets to determine how those terms are defined.

“Don’t get me wrong,” says Sara, “a credible threat is a credible threat and should be treated as such.”

Unfortunately, from what we’ve seen from the left, “hate speech” can be as benign as disagreeing with the newfound gender ideology, and “inciting violence” can amount to encouraging people to exercise their right to peacefully protest.

Epstein flight logs SUBPOENAED, but what are the chances we actually see who’s on the list?

It’s been over three years since Jeffrey Epstein died in jail, and yet we still don’t know the contents of the infamous flight logs from his private jet, controversially named the “Lolita Express.”

Naturally, people want to know who flew on that plane, as it would likely lead to incriminating evidence attached to any number of politicians, billionaires, socialites, and celebrities.

But alas, the list remains under lock and key.

However, that could change, as Tennessee Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn filed a subpoena just a few days ago “demanding that Congress gain access to [Epstein’s] flight logs from his private plane,” reports Sara Gonzales.

“Since we're in the business of issuing subpoenas now, here are a few more that I filed: a subpoena to Jeffrey Epstein's estate to provide the flight logs for his private plane. Given the numerous allegations of human trafficking and sexual abuse surrounding Mr. Epstein, I think it is very important that we identify everybody that was on that plane and how many trips they took on that plane and the destinations to which they arrived,” Blackburn stated.

“I completely agree,” says Sara, but “I don't think we will ever see those names – ever, ever, ever.”

Blaze contributor and founder/owner of Rippaverse Comics Eric July agrees, adding, “It incriminates the wrong people.”

While there are likely many people on that list who perhaps are being protected, one person the current administration and the mainstream media would love to sabotage is Donald Trump, who is said to have flown on Epstein’s plane several times.

“They always want to tie Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein first,” says Sara.

“Okay, you know who also banned him from Mar-a-Lago and from staying in any of his properties?” she continues. “Donald Trump after he found out that Jeffery Epstein had done the things that he had done.”

Right now, 7,000 migrants are heading to America via the Darién Gap, many of whom are being led by 'Chinese influencers'

Illegal immigrants crossing our borders have always been a problem, but it’s become an out-of-control monster of a problem since the Biden administration took office, and it’s only getting worse.

Sara Gonzales plays the clip of a sea of immigrants numbering more than 7,000, heading to the United States right now by way of the Darién Gap; many of them are allegedly being led by "Chinese influencers."

“We can't ask who they are, we can't ask what they're going to do here, what they're going to give to us,” sighs Pat Gray. “We have to only mention what we're going to do for them.”

“Meanwhile, Joe Biden has already requested that Congress appropriate $1.4 billion to help state and local governments provide shelter and services for migrants,” says Sara.

“They want your taxpayer dollars to pay for them welcoming these immigrants with open arms.”

It’s especially upsetting and unfair for the cities and states that did not enact certain immigration policies and chose not to be places of designated sanctuary.

“The audacity of these people to say, ‘No, we want everyone to have to pay for our policies – for our party's policies, for our state's policies, for our city's policies – that we chose to enact; now it's your responsibility,’” even though many cities and states warned that it was “a horrible policy,” says Sara.

“This whole system qualifies as a human trafficking operation,” says Jaco Booyens, because “American mayors [and] American cities are making money off the backs of displaced people who were displaced by our federal government from the get-go – they were enticed to come, they were lied to by the president of the United States” that they could have “the American dream.”

However, when they arrive here, the consequences are often devastating – both for the migrants and for U.S. citizens.

“Women are prostituting themselves at unbelievable rates because they have no food, they have no credentials … they do not have family here,” Booyens laments. “The military-age men that are coming here who can't get a job, they cannot live here legally or eat legally. … What does that mean? They're going to rob you, they're going to steal, they're going to plunder; you're going to have anarchy in the streets, but maybe that is the whole point.”

“Well, of course it is – chaos is the whole point,” says Pat.

Trump's ex-lawyer, Sidney Powell, just released the kraken by pleading guilty in Georgia case

Sidney Powell has just sent a shock wave through America.

Powell, whom Sara Gonzales calls the “most outspoken one” regarding election fraud, pleaded guilty to six criminal counts in a deal with the Fulton County prosecutors that gave her a reduced sentence and no jail time.

Just a couple of years ago, Powell is recorded telling a Fox News host that “there needs to be a massive criminal investigation, and it’s going to affect millions of voters in elections, and it’s been organized and conducted with the help of Silicon Valley people, the big tech companies, the social media companies, and even the media companies.”

“And,” Powell continued, “I’m going to release the kraken.”

“Well, that never happened,” Gonzales says.

“You have to wonder what she gave in exchange for that reduced sentence.”

BlazeTV contributor Jaco Booyens is “surprised” but notes that she’s also been sued by Dominion “for something insane like $3 billion, which they know she can’t pay.”

Booyens believes this is “a victory for the other side,” because “now what does Jenna Ellis do in this situation? What does Rudy do?”

Pat Gray is also surprised.

“I thought she was going to produce something, you know, the smoking gun, and then she had nothing,” Gray says, adding, “I’m surprised that you were so emphatic and then it was a lie.”

Meanwhile, Douglass Mackey has been sentenced to seven months in prison after being found guilty of election interference because he made a meme about Hillary Clinton.

The meme featured the slogan “Vote for Hillary” and directions to “avoid the line, vote from home” by texting the word “Hillary” to 59925.

“I mean they’re literally throwing people in prison for memes,” Gonzales says.

RFK Jr. ditching Dems will have THIS shocking effect on Trump

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has officially announced that he is leaving the Democratic Party and becoming an independent.

“I must first declare my own independence. Independence from the Democratic party and from all other political parties,” RFK told the crowd at a political rally in Philadelphia, adding, “I haven’t made this decision lightly.”

According to Kennedy, it’s been “very painful” to let go of being a part of his family’s political dynasty that was launched over 100 years ago.

“There have been independent candidates in this country before,” he continued, “but this time, it’s going to be different. Because this time, the independent is gonna win.”

His announcement comes at the same time Matt Schlapp released a statement explaining that RFK is now slated to appear at the CPAC summit in Las Vegas later this month.

“Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has a unique voice in advocating for the defunding of the weaponized bureaucracy and ensuring the constitutional right of medical freedom.” Schlapp said in his statement.

Sara Gonzales notes that while CPAC is welcoming him with open arms, he’s not even close to being on the same page as most conservatives.

“He’s not a conservative. He’s crazy on climate change and gun control and a whole bunch of other things that we would not agree with him on,” she tells Chad Prather, who adds that he also has a different stance on “killing babies.”

Gonzales is also concerned about what this will do to Trump’s voter base, as RFK himself has admitted that he attracts more Trump voters than Biden voters.

“The other thing is that I take more votes from President Trump than I do from President Biden,” RFK says in a clip of him on comedian Theo Von’s show.

“So, why would that help them?” Von asks, to which RFK responds, “It’s not helping them.”

Prather sees this as blatantly destructive to the Republican ticket. “We’re self-sabotaging at this point,” he tells Gonzales.

THIS might be AOC's DUMBEST take yet ...

Our southern border has been open to the extent that the Texas National Guard is trying to close and lock gates — while Biden’s Border Patrol has kept opening them back up.

“I would say that that’s in complete contrary to what their freaking job is actually supposed to be, which is border protection,” Sara Gonzales says.

However, the Department of Homeland Security has since done a one-eighty and completely changed its tune. This week, the DHS released a memo explaining there is an immediate need for a border wall.

Biden disagrees and has voiced his frustration at Congress for shutting down his proposal to redirect money appropriated for the border wall.

AOC has also weighed in, releasing a statement that calls for the president to take responsibility for this decision to build a border wall and reverse course.

“A wall does nothing to deter people who are fleeing poverty and violence from coming to the United States. You do not risk your life or your children’s lives going through the Darien Gap or traversing hundreds of miles of desert if you have any other options,” AOC wrote in her statement.

“Walls only serve to push migrants into more remote areas, increasing their chances of death. It is a cruel policy,” she continued.

“I don’t mean to sound cold-hearted, but I feel like I’m a realist here,” Gonzales responds.

“This is our country. Borders are supposed to be sovereign for a reason.”

Eric July sees the current situation as a bit of a “white pill.”

He notes that in places like Chicago, the black community is coming together in support of a border wall after migrants continue to be shipped into their city.

“I think in the future, like I mean the very near future, that may be one of those issues that breaks that party,” he says.

You won't believe THIS SHOCKING TRUTH buried in the Jan. 6 video archives

House Republicans have announced that members of the media and other qualified individuals will now have access to view footage from January 6.

According to the strict criteria required to view the footage, you have to be a qualifying non-profit organization or a news outlet, among other things.

Sara Gonzales believes that “this obviously is backtracking on the promise that Speaker McCarthy made to the American people when he said we will make all of the footage public.”

Investigative journalist Steve Baker has combed through the 41,000 hours of video, which he says is “a daunting and impossible task” if he wanted to get through all of it.

Baker also says that as he has gone through the footage, he’s found that in footage from certain cameras, there were “three or four hours missing in the middle of the riot itself.”

Some of the cameras have no footage whatsoever, which Baker believes is strange, as the Capitol Police “told us that all of their cameras were functional that day.”

Sara Gonzales finds it all fascinating.

“We are still seeing the FBI and the DOJ put so much concentration on January 6, oftentimes non-violent people who didn’t – they didn’t break anything in the Capitol, they didn’t vandalize anything, they didn’t hit anyone,” Gonzales says.

Baker says that it’s frightening, because the people who are being convicted of some sort of conspiracy to overthrow the government simply used “the words of a founding father,” which he calls “revolutionary-style rhetoric.”

In one of the particular stories that Baker is working on in order to exonerate and find evidence for people who are innocent yet being accused, he believes he saw clear collusion.

“I was sitting in one of the trials back last fall, and in that trial I saw something that did not ring true. It was one of those moments between the judge and the lead prosecuting attorney that I, just by instinct, thought I saw collusion,” he says.

“Body language, the connection didn’t work. I saw the panic of the prosecutor, I saw the panic of the judge in suppressing evidence, and then I started the process of digging myself,” he adds.

In that digging, Baker believes he’s found “evidence tampering, evidence suppression,” and the “creating of evidence that did not exist out of whole cloth.”
