Tulsi Gabbard explains why 'anti-democracy' elites are forcing Kamala Harris on voters

Now that Joe Biden is out, the race to replace him in the election is in full motion. However, Democrats – the champions of “democracy” – are once again conducting themselves in a manner that is the antithesis of democratic. The party is practically coronating Vice President Kamala Harris to be the presidential nominee without so much as a thought about what Democrat voters actually want.

Former Democratic presidential candidate turned independent Tulsi Gabbard joins Glenn Beck to explain the Harris hype.

Tulsi Gabbard: Why "Anti-Democracy” Elites Are FORCING Kamala Harris on Voterswww.youtube.com

“Even as the Democrats have changed their horse in this race, the substance, the policies, and, quite frankly, the real decision-makers behind the scenes, who have been pulling the strings” will not change, “which means we can expect the same disastrous policies that we've seen and worse” if Kamala wins, Gabbard explains.

Glenn agrees, asking, “Who is this cabal? Shouldn't we be asking that question and getting that answer?”

“Ultimately, it's those whose power relies on having a figurehead that they can control,” says Gabbard.

But who are these puppeteers in the shadows?

According to Gabbard, they are “Hillary Clinton's lackeys, President Obama's lackeys, people who have been with President Biden for a long time, the military-industrial complex that profits from our country being in a constant state of war … the unelected people in the national security state whose ability to control and take more of our liberties relies on us being in a constant state of war, their friends in Big Tech and propaganda media who benefit from them having access to that power and that information, and the big-money billionaires.”

“Fundamentally what is at the heart of this, of all of these different people that make up this cabal of woke warmongers … [is] people who don't care about our country,” “don't believe in the Constitution,” and “are trying to remake this country into something that is their utopia of some sort but that defies the very foundation of what our country was founded upon,” she explains, adding that “Hillary Clinton is the lead.”

Given the push for Kamala Harris, it stands to reason that the cabal believes she will be easy to control and will serve as a fine face – or in Gabbard’s words “figurehead” – for the cabal's mission to dismantle and recreate the country. In other words, she will be a Biden 2.0.

Perhaps this is why they’re raising the banners behind her?

But again, do the people want Kamala Harris as their nominee? Her popularity rating would suggest no.

“[Democrats] believe that Donald Trump is the threat to democracy, and they don't see what their own party is doing,” says Glenn. “How is it they can go out and vote and then have these delegates and these superdelegates disregard that vote entirely and say, ‘No, this is who you get’?”

Former US rep for Hawaii says THIS could’ve saved lives in Maui

The devastating wildfires in Maui that have left 111 dead and hundreds more missing are considered the worst natural disaster in the state in the last 100 years.

Naturally, when disaster strikes, people want answers.

Conspiracy theories surrounding the Maui fires have continued to rage, with many believing that the fires were part of a grand scheme to acquire incredibly lucrative land. The left is pushing climate change as the cause of the wildfires, while others cite Maui’s underdeveloped fire service or poor response times from government and other officials.

We all want to know what’s really going on.

Former U.S. representative for Hawaii's second district and current U.S. Army Reserve officer Tulsi Gabbard joins Glenn Beck to discuss the tragedy.

Glenn asks Gabbard's thoughts regarding the resignation of Herman Andaya, the head of the Maui Emergency Management Agency, due to criticism regarding his decision not to activate the disaster sirens.

“I think he probably thought he was doing the right thing by not turning on the air siren because ... he said, ‘If I would have turned it on people would have gone to the top of the mountain because that's what they're trained to do, and they would have gone right into the fire.’ Do you believe that?” asks Glenn.

“You know what? I call bullsh** on that,” Gabbard says. “He's the Department of Emergency Management director. Why did it take ... eight days for him to show up in front of the media and answer questions? He should have been the first guy out there.”

“Number two, we have a highly sophisticated alarm system across the state of Hawaii because of our proximity to hurricanes and tsunamis and all sorts of different natural disasters,” she continues.

“We know that if it's a tsunami, we get days' warning,” she explains. And “these alarm systems are used in the case of any form of natural disaster. [So] a tsunami alert could have been ruled out immediately because they don't just show up out of nowhere.”

“That alarm sounding could have possibly prevented loss of life, so I don't buy that.”

'Nothing less than child abuse': Tulsi Gabbard blasts Biden for his role in helping drive 389% increase in mastectomies on little girls

Former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii recently called out President Joe Biden for his role in helping to advance the "radical 'woke'" agenda that has resulted in the tragic mutilation of thousands of children.

Gabbard, who left the Democratic Party in October, who is calling it an "elitist cabal of warmongers," noted on her podcast that Biden and other Democrats are instrumental in a system of child abuse, which undermines parental rights, ignores basic biology, and is altogether transforming American public schools into surgeons' waiting areas.

Mincing no words regarding the woke mincing of little girls

"We have leaders in today's Democrat Party who are actively pushing an agenda to sexualize our kids at very young ages in public schools, and impose this radical transgender ideology that actually encourages young kids to go through dangerous medical procedures under this very misleading guise of 'gender-affirming care," said Gabbard on the Nov. 15 episode of her podcast, "'Woke' Gender Lies, Child Abuse, and Mutilation."

"Gender-affirming care in the way they are using this is nothing less than child abuse," she added.

According to Gabbard, the people Americans ought to be able to rely upon and trust, such as doctors and teachers, are simultaneously taking part in and promoting this child abuse and perpetuating the associated falsehoods about biological differences and medical consequences.

Gabbard referenced a recent study in JAMA Pediatrics, which indicated that there has been a 389% increase in gender-mutilating operations.

TheBlaze previously reported on the study, which showed in 2016, approximately 100 adolescents had their chests mutilated. Only a few years later, there had been 489 of these mutilating surgeries performed in a single year, representing an increase of nearly 400%.

There were an estimated 1,130 so-called chest reconstructive surgeries performed on children from 2016 to 2019. That number continues to grow.

Gabbard repeated and emphasized that these are "children receiving mastectomies."

Should the little girls so mutilated later decide to live out their lives fully as women and then have children, they will never be able to breastfeed their infants.

Referencing a study from the UCLA School of Law's Williams Institute, which indicated that the transsexual youth population doubled over a five-year period, Gabbard stated, "This didn't just happen. This is very intentional and it's the consequence of this radical agenda that is being pushed on our kids. They’re rejecting the existence of objective reality by rejecting this most fundamental truth of the differences between a biological male and female."

"Now, even as there are no long-term studies on the effects of these dangerous treatments on our kids, those in power in government and so-called medical professionals continue to push them," said the former Democrat.

“It’s no accident the number of transgender youth doubled in the last 5 years, and children mastectomies are up 389%. It’s a direct result of the radical ‘woke’ agenda being pushed on our kids by so-called “healthcare professionals,” MSM/social media, and even Biden directly.”
— Tulsi Gabbard 🌺 (@Tulsi Gabbard 🌺) 1669547394

Gabbard referenced recent findings from the Food and Drug Administration, which link puberty blocker hormones to brain swelling and vision loss — just another indication of the extent to which so-called "gender-affirming care" is both careless and destructive.

A Sep. 19 study in the Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy indicated that puberty blockers are not just creating sexless adults, although GnRHA drugs are "licensed to chemically castrated men." They are: depleting victims' bone density; hampering their cognitive development; and producing a myriad of deleterious emotional effects.

Dr. Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard, the Nobel Prize-winning director emeritus at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology, recently stressed that taking hormones is "inherently dangerous."

Despite the horrific, debilitating, and potentially deadly side effects highlighted by esteemed scientists, Gabbard suggested "that hasn't stopped President Biden from going and telling parents that 'affirming your child's identity is one of the most powerful things you can do to keep them safe.'"

Biden made the remarks cited by Gabbard in a broader statement intimating that state laws affirming the reality of biological sex and protecting children from abusive pharmaceutical and surgical practices were "simply wrong" and "hateful."

“To transgender Americans of all ages, I want you to know that you are so brave. You belong. I have your back.”
— President Biden (@President Biden) 1648735499

Ahead of the 2020 presidential election, then-candidate Biden said, "The idea that an eight-year-old child or a 10-year-old child decides you know, I decided I want to be transgender. That's what I think I'd like to be. It'd make my life a lot easier. There should be zero discrimination."

In an October interview with a transsexual activist, Biden indicated that nobody should be able to prevent doctors from mutilating and sterilizing children via so-called "gender-affirming care."

On her podcast, Gabbard stressed that the well-being of America's children should be one of the nonpartisan issues that everyone can unite behind, "but it's not the case at all."

In the Twitter post accompanying an excerpt from her podcast, Gabbard noted that the child abuse underway is a "direct result of the radical 'woke' agenda being pushed on our kids by so-called 'health care professionals,' MSM/social media, and even Biden directly."

Ex-Democrat Tulsi Gabbard issues full-throated endorsement of Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake

Former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, who recently announced that she was dumping the Democratic Party, has endorsed Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake in the Arizona governor's race.

"For too long establishment leaders from both parties have sought to enrich themselves, play games, and build up their power while ignoring and even enabling the suffering of millions of hard-working Americans," Gabbard tweeted. She said that Lake "puts people first," and "is fighting for border security, energy independence, public safety, and other policies that actually make life better and more affordable for the American people."

Gabbard also said that Lake "isn't afraid to call out the warmongering ... elitist cabal of permanent Washington and the Military Industrial Complex, and their propagandists in the mainstream media. I look forward to supporting @KariLake ahead of these critical midterm elections."

Lake is running against Arizona's Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs.

Gabbard served in the U.S. House of Representatives from early 2013 until early 2021 — she mounted a White House bid during the last presidential election cycle, but ultimately dropped out and backed Joe Biden.

Last week, Gabbard announced that she was abandoning the Democratic Party, lambasting the party in a video.

"I can no longer remain in today's Democratic Party that's under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers who are driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoking anti-white racism, who actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms that are enshrined in our Constitution, who are hostile to people of faith and spirituality, who demonize the police but protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans, who believe in open-borders, who weaponize the national security state to go after their political opponents, and above all, who are dragging us ever closer to nuclear war," Gabbard declared in the video.

Gabbard also urged other disaffected Democrats to join her in exiting the party.

Tulsi Gabbard officially leaves Dem Party, releases scathing video explaining why — and she calls on others to join her

Tulsi Gabbard, the former Hawaii congresswoman who ran for president in 2020, announced Tuesday her official departure from the Democratic Party.

What are the details?

The announcement is not exactly surprising. As the Democratic Party moves farther left, Gabbard (and other Democrats like her) have become increasingly alienated. In fact, Gabbard is a frequent critic of President Joe Biden and Democrats.

But what is surprising is the scathing way in which she announced her departure.

In a video, Gabbard described the Democratic Party as an "elitist cabal of warmongers" bent on dividing Americans and erasing our fundamental rights.

"I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that's under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers who are driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoking anti-white racism, who actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms that our enshrined in our Constitution," she said, "who are hostile to people of faith and spirituality, who demonize the police but protect criminals at the expensive of law-abiding Americans, who believe in open borders, who weaponize the national security state to go after their political opponents, and, above all, who are dragging us closer to nuclear war," she explained.

After laying out why she is leaving the Democratic Party, she called on others like her to follow her lead.

"I believe in a government that is of the people, by the people, and for the people. Unfortunately, today's Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government that is of, by, and for the powerful elite," she said.

"I'm calling on my fellow commonsense, independent-minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party," she continued. "If you can no longer stomach the direction that so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, I invite you to join me."

It is not clear which political party Gabbard will now associate with. Though she is no longer a Democrat, she did not say she is now a Republican.

'Slow is smooth, smooth is fast': Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard takes aim in firearm video

One former Democratic politician has taken to social media to show off her marksmanship skills.

Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) posted a nearly 40-second video to her Twitter and Instagram accounts, which shows her participating in various firearm drills and reloading as necessary as she tackles an obstacle course associated with the Tactical Games.

"Slow is smooth, smooth is fast," Gabbard wrote. "Dusting off the cobwebs and gaining new skills. Thanks to The Tactical Games for an incredible day of training."

— Tulsi Gabbard 🌺 (@Tulsi Gabbard 🌺) 1664881752

The Tactical Games is an organization which claims to offer "a venue for all shooters and athletes to compete against the best in the world to find weaknesses and test gear in the most stressful environment a competition can offer."

In the video, Gabbard can be seen negotiating barriers and other impediments as she fires at specific targets. Wearing mainly black workout gear and ear muffs, she loads ammunition and employs different firearms at various times, though it is unclear whether she chose to use different guns or whether game rules required them.

"Nice work," a man on the video tells her at the close.

Though the video has garnered a lot of positive responses, some on social media have criticized it since Gabbard, who once proclaimed to "support our Second Amendment rights," still advocated for significant restrictions while she was in Congress. For example, she professed to support so-called common sense gun control laws, including a ban on assault weapons, modern sport rifles, standard capacity magazines, comprehensive background checks, and closing the "gun-show loophole."

"So do you think just you should be allowed to have these or have you gotten around to reading the second amendment yet?" quipped Libertarian Party NH.

"Oh, today you like guns?" another popular response asked.

Gabbard, 41, served in Congress from 2013 until 2021. She also ran for president as a Democrat in 2020, but dropped out by mid-March. She is a Major in the Army National Guard and served two tours in the Middle East.

Gabbard recently made headlines when she figuratively took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris for allowing so many illegal immigrants to breach the U.S. southern border.

"Kamala Harris' statement that 'we have a secure border' is further evidence that she’s either completely disconnected from reality or she's blatantly lying," Gabbard tweeted on September 15. "Either way, she has no business being a heartbeat away from the presidency."

Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard says VP Kamala Harris, who claims that the US border is secure, is 'either completely disconnected from reality or she's blatantly lying'

Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard said that Vice President Kamala Harris, who claimed that America's southern border is secure, is either untethered from reality or outright lying, and in either case, should not be one heartbeat away from assuming the role of president.

"Kamala Harris' statement that 'we have a secure border' is further evidence that she’s either completely disconnected from reality or she's blatantly lying. Either way, she has no business being a heartbeat away from the presidency," Gabbard tweeted.

“Kamala Harris' statement that “we have a secure border” is further evidence that she’s either completely disconnected from reality or she's blatantly lying. Either way, she has no business being a heartbeat away from the presidency.”
— Tulsi Gabbard 🌺 (@Tulsi Gabbard 🌺) 1663240332

The former lawmaker's stern rebuke comes after the vice president made the eyebrow-raising claim about the border during an interview. "The border is secure. But we also have a broken immigration system, in particular over the last four years before we came in, and it needs to be fixed," the vice president told "Meet the Press" moderator Chuck Todd.

There have been nearly 2 million southwest land border encounters from October 2021 through July 2022, according to data posted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Todd pressed the issue, asking Harris whether she is "confident" the the nation's border is secure.

"We have a secure border, in that that is a priority for any nation including ours," Harris said, indicating that it represents a priority for the administration.

During an interview on Fox News, Democratic Sen. Joe Manhcin of West Virginia said that Harris was "dead wrong" to make the claim.

But while Harris is claiming that the nation's border is secure, a migrant outside of Harris' home at the Naval Observatory in Washington D.C. said that he had come from Venezuela to the U.S. illegally. "It's open not closed," the man said of the U.S. border while speaking to Griff Jenkins of Fox News. "It's open because we enter, we come in, free. No problem."

Illegal Immigrant Tells Fox News: "The Border Is Open” www.youtube.com

Earlier this week, Harris, a climate alarmist, boarded a gas-guzzling jet, flew to the state of New York, and delivered a speech pertaining to climate change. During her remarks on Wednesday at the University of Buffalo, Harris declared, "Your generation knows the threat of the climate crisis, because you have lived it. And for your entire lives thus far, you have seen our nation fail to act with the urgency this crisis demands."

Gabbard served as a lawmaker from Hawaii in the U.S. House of Representatives from early 2013 until early 2021 — she announced a presidential bid in 2019, but dropped out in 2020 and backed Joe Biden.

Tulsi Gabbard points out 'absurdity' of Biden SCOTUS nominee refusing to define 'woman.' Her womanhood was a key reason she was nominated.

Former Democratic U.S. House Rep. Tulsi Gabbard slammed Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson this week for refusing to define what a "woman" is during her Senate confirmation hearings — and, in doing so, elucidated an interesting point.

That is, Jackson's own womanhood is one of the primary reasons that President Biden nominated her to the Supreme Court, along with her ethnicity.

During his presidential campaign in 2020, Biden vowed to appoint a black womanto the Supreme Court should a vacancy arise. And this year, when Justice Stephen Breyer announced his retirement, supporters held the president to his word.

What did Gabbard say?

On Thursday, Gabbard reminded the president and his nominee of the pledge.

"In order to have a Supreme Court committed to protecting the rights of all Americans, including women, every justice needs to understand there is such a thing as a woman, as distinct from a man," Gabbard tweeted. "Yet when asked to define the word 'woman,' Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson said, 'I don’t know.'"

"The hypocrisy and absurdity of this is that she was nominated by President Biden in large part because she is a woman," the Democrat aptly pointed out.

(2/2) … Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson said, “I don’t know.” The hypocrisy and absurdity of this is that she was nominated by President Biden in large part because she is a woman.
— Tulsi Gabbard 🌺 (@Tulsi Gabbard 🌺) 1648116888

What's the background?

During hearings on Tuesday, Jackson responded to a pointed question from Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn (Tenn.) by claiming that she can't define the word "woman" because she's "not a biologist."

"Can you provide a definition for the word ‘woman’?" Blackburn asked Jackson.

"Can I provide a definition?" the judge replied, adding, "No, I can’t."

"You can’t?" Blackburn shot back.

"Not in this context," Jackson said, laughing. "I’m not a biologist."

"So you believe the meaning of the word ‘woman’ is so unclear and controversial that you can’t give me a definition?" Blackburn later pressed.

"Senator, in my work as a judge, what I do is I address disputes," Jackson answered, still deflecting. "If there's a dispute about a definition, people make arguments, and I look at the law, and I decide."

Why does it matter?

The issue of sexual orientation and gender identity has become a hot-button one of late amid the left's anti-scientific embrace of transgenderism and gender fluidity in general.

The left's balancing act between staunchly supporting women's causes and the transgender agenda has proved difficult, especially when the two appear to clash — as in the case of transgender biological male University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas competing against women.

It has put many progressives in a bind, making them unable to explain their perspective with any logical coherence. It seems the best option when confronted on the matter is to refuse to say anything at all, as Jackson herself demonstrated.

But Gabbard wasn't keen to let Jackson off the hook that easily.

Neither was BlazeTV host Jason Whitlock, who wrote this in a Wednesday column for TheBlaze: "Jackson does not lack common sense. She can define the word woman. If she can’t, she should ask President Biden. He made it clear he picked Jackson because she’s a black woman."

"Jackson’s flaw is that her commitment to truth is fungible based on how truth impacts her politics," Whitlock continued. "She’s a politician; not a judge, not an arbiter of truth. Her particular brand of politics — left-wing — requires her to eschew a biblical worldview that values truth above all else."

Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, a Democrat, is slated to speak at CPAC's 'Ronald Reagan Dinner'

Former U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, a Democrat, will deliver remarks during the upcoming Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Gabbard is listed as a special guest for the "Ronald Reagan Dinner" on Friday night. Glenn Beck will be the keynote speaker at the dinner event, which has sold out.

— CPAC 2022 (@CPAC 2022) 1645453621

President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, and other figures are slated to appear at CPAC.

Gabbard served in Congress for eight years before leaving office near the beginning of 2021. She had previously announced a presidential bid in early 2019, but then dropped out in 2020 and supported Joe Biden.

But the former congresswoman has been a vocal critic of President Biden.

Gabbard has declared that Biden pledged "to bring us together, to end the divisiveness," but "betrayed us all by pouring fuel on the fires of divisiveness that are tearing our country apart."

Biden promised to unite our country. Instead he betrayed us, pouring fuel on the fire of divisiveness, tearing our country apart. Biden compares those who disagree with him to racists, traitors & enemies, & has his AG target Americans as domestic terrorists. Unfit to lead.pic.twitter.com/zeYBRv0bMB

She has also called out the president for using skin color and gender as criteria in selecting a Supreme Court nominee — Biden has said that he will nominate a black woman to serve on the Supreme Court.

"Biden’s mistake: He should not be choosing a Supreme Court justice based on the color of their skin or sex, but rather on their qualifications & commitment to uphold our Constitution & the freedoms guaranteed to all Americans in that document which is the foundation of our nation," Gabbard tweeted.
