Homan urges hardline approach with Mexico to stop massive immigrant caravan: 'They're going to have consequences'



Tom Homan, tapped as President-elect Donald Trump's border czar, suggested taking a hardline approach with Mexico to stop the wave of immigrant caravans racing toward the United States border ahead of Inauguration Day.

During a Wednesday interview on Fox News' "Ingraham Angle," Homan was asked about a 1,500-strong immigrant caravan headed toward the country.

'Let me give you a word of advice: If you impede us, there's going to be consequences.'

Homan stated, "I think President Trump needs to make a phone call down there and tell them they are going to stop that caravan, or they're going to have consequences."

During a rally earlier this month, Trump said that he would tell Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo "on day one or sooner" to help the U.S. stop the mass immigration crisis spilling over the border or he would impose a 25% tariff.

"If that doesn't work," Trump said, "I'll make it 50%; if that doesn't work, I'll make it 75%. Then I'll make it 100%."

One of the many immigrant caravans that have taken off from southern Mexico shrunk in size after Trump secured the presidential victory, with some foreign nationals believing it would be substantially more difficult to enter and remain in the U.S. after President Joe Biden leaves office. Nevertheless, other groups of immigrants are continuing their journey, hoping to slip into the country ahead of Inauguration Day.

Several leaders in sanctuary jurisdictions across the U.S., including in Los Angeles, Denver, and Boston, have pledged to protect illegal aliens in their communities from Trump's mass deportation efforts.

Homan had a message for those city officials.

"Those people who say they're going to stop us from what we're doing, they will not," he told Fox News. "Let me give you a word of advice: If you impede us, there's going to be consequences."

"It is a felony to knowingly harbor and conceal an illegal alien," Homan warned.

"For any governor or mayor who doesn't want public safety threats taken out of their communities, you should resign your office because your number one responsibility is [to] protect those communities," he added.

Trump's border czar was also asked about the more than 1,400 acres of land along the southern Texas border that was offered to the incoming administration to facilitate the mass removals.

Earlier this week, Dawn Buckingham, a medical doctor and the commissioner of the Texas General Land Office, offered the land to Trump "to allow a facility to be built for the processing, detention, and coordination of the largest deportation of violent criminals in the nation's history."

Homan said the Trump administration "absolutely will" use the land.

Biden to launch ICE mobile app, further disrupting Trump's mass deportation plan: Report



The Biden-Harris administration is making significant policy changes ahead of President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration in an apparent effort to obstruct the incoming administration's mass deportation plans.

The New York Post reported Thursday that President Joe Biden is in a rush to roll out new policies that would ease restrictions on illegal aliens, according to sources.

'They're going to try to put up as many roadblocks and obstacles and throw as many grenades as they can on their way out.'

The Biden administration is reportedly gearing up to launch an Immigration and Customs Enforcement mobile application in New York City in early December. The ICE Portal is designed to allow illegal immigrants to check in remotely through the mobile app rather than appearing in person at their local ICE office.

According to the Post, Homeland Security sources are concerned that the "glitchy and unreliable" mobile app will allow illegal aliens to evade federal authorities. Sources claimed that the administration is pushing forward with the expedited launch despite "extreme issues" with the portal during pilot program testing.

During in-person check-ins, ICE agents review an individual's past arrests and check for outstanding warrants, a process that the administration's mobile app will not replicate. Also, during those appearances, illegal aliens are required to provide proof of their current address.

Further, the app is reportedly not compatible with Android phones. When accessed by computer, the portal does not collect GPS location information. While accessing via phone does collect location data, that information is gathered for only seven days.

A source told the Post, "We need that information that if these people don't go to court, they have absconded, they have a final order of removal. We need that data … to go start looking for people."

The initial rollout of the program will reportedly be extended to up to 100,000 illegal aliens.

In another move to undermine Trump's immigration crackdown, the Biden administration is also aiming to allow illegal immigrants to dispute federal government orders for electronic tracking. Location monitoring devices, such as ankle bracelets, are provided to individuals through the agency's Alternatives to Detention Program while they are awaiting immigration hearings.

"It gives the alien the ability to get off the program entirely," a source told the Post.

Another source stated, "What it is doing is creating a lot of burdensome administrative paperwork justifying what they're doing now. I can tell you a lot of employees would just look at this [as] this is too much work. Most cases, they'll just terminate them from the program and not have to go through the appeal process."

The news outlet reported that experts are concerned that Trump's attempts to revert these last-minute Biden initiatives could be delayed due to procedural obstacles and could potentially face legal challenges.

Former acting Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Mark Morgan called the Biden administration's moves "an obstructionist transition" and "the opposite of a peaceful transition of power" previously promised to Trump.

"What they're trying to do in the last final day, they're going to try to put up as many roadblocks and obstacles and throw as many grenades as they can on their way out," Morgan told the Post.

ICE did not respond to a request for comment from the Post.

With the sun setting on the Biden-Harris administration, President-elect Donald Trump and his incoming Cabinet face an unprecedented challenge — resolving the chaotic and overwhelming immigration crisis.

Despite having the necessary resources to put a stop to illegal immigration, the current administration has instead used taxpayer dollars in ways that have worsened the problem rather than solving it.

Under the Biden-Harris administration, millions of dollars were allocated to various initiatives purportedly designed to tackle the immigration crisis. Yet some of those investments — including a multimillion-dollar processing center and Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention space — were not utilized.

Unused illegal alien center

In the summer, the Biden-Harris administration's Federal Emergency Management Agency allocated nearly $20 million in taxpayer funds to open an illegal immigrant processing center in San Diego County.

The decision to establish the center was made amid a massive surge in unlawful immigration in the San Diego Sector. Border encounters in the area spiked by 40% in fiscal year 2024, surpassing the already record-high numbers from the year before.

The facility was designed to provide basic services to foreign nationals who had recently entered the country as well as assist them with traveling to their intended destinations within the U.S.

In two separate votes, four out of five San Diego County supervisors voted to accept FEMA's funding, believing it would help manage the overwhelming crisis.

Supervisor Jim Desmond (R), the one lone dissenter on the board, was not convinced. He argued that the FEMA funds failed to establish a long-term solution to the immigration issues, instead acting as only a Band-Aid over a symptom.

Desmond contended that passing the proposal "effectively approves and perpetuates the federal government's mismanagement of the border."

"I refuse to be complicit in a broken system," he added.

Desmond's skepticism about the multimillion-dollar processing facility was warranted. Although FEMA funding was approved in May, the facility has remained largely unused.

In July, the county selected Jewish Family Service to manage the center. However, after two months of negotiations, the deal collapsed after the parties could not develop a sustainable plan.

San Diego County spokesperson Michael Workman said in a joint statement with JFS, "Despite best-faith efforts, the two parties have been unable to develop a plan to meet the scope of work required to address the needs of migrants in the region based on federal funding criteria and have mutually agreed to end negotiations."

Consequently, the county was forced to relaunch the search for a new contractor, with no clear timeline on when an agreement might be secured.

Following the devastating impact of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the federal government claimed that FEMA's funds were quickly dwindling and the agency would struggle to provide aid in the event of another disaster.

Desmond torched the federal government for throwing money at the immigration crisis and failing to allocate enough resources to ensure assistance for Americans.

"The federal government claims they have no funds left to assist American citizens whose homes and lives have been torn apart. Yet this is the same government that spent $20 million on a migrant processing center in San Diego that isn't even being used. That was a complete waste of taxpayer dollars, and now American citizens are being told there's nothing left for them," Desmond explained in an emailed press release.

"At the time, I voted against accepting $20 million from the federal government to establish a migrant processing center in San Diego County," he continued. "I firmly believe that we shouldn't be complicit in the federal government's — and specifically this administration's — failure to enforce immigration laws effectively. My concerns were validated. That facility, which was supposed to address a critical immigration issue, is sitting idle, serving no purpose, while Americans are left to suffer."

He called the shortage of funds for citizens "a slap in the face to every hardworking American."

"It's a glaring example of the federal government's incompetence and mismanagement. Instead of prioritizing Americans' needs, this administration has chosen to funnel resources into programs that don't even function," Desmond added.

‘This is taxpayer money that incentivizes illegal immigration and could be far better spent on pressing local needs.’

In mid-September, the county submitted a Notice of Intent to Award after entering into negotiations with a different provider. However, the offer was rescinded approximately a month later due to failed negotiations.

"No award will be made, as there were no additional proposals received to evaluate," the county's rescindment notice read.

A spokesperson for San Diego County told Blaze News, "The County is pausing work to consider its options and will be sharing an evaluation with the Board of Supervisors in early 2025."

Desmond described the county's decision to open the center as "completely unnecessary."

He told Blaze News, "The County of San Diego's plan to open a 'Migrant Welcome Center' is completely unnecessary, especially given the incoming administration's commitment to securing our borders."

Desmond explained that Vice President-elect JD Vance told him that securing the border and stopping the Biden-Harris administration's illegal immigration crisis would be the incoming administration's "top priority."

"The need for a facility to welcome and process migrants will be obsolete as this new administration takes real, decisive action to stop illegal crossings," he added.

"The county has already poured millions into temporary shelters and legal fees for those facing deportation, with little to show for it," Desmond continued. "FEMA contributed $19 million, and the county has spent $6 million on a temporary shelter, alongside another $5 million in legal fees to defend illegal immigrants facing deportation. This is taxpayer money that incentivizes illegal immigration and could be far better spent on pressing local needs, from infrastructure to community services that directly benefit San Diegans."

Empty beds

The Department of Homeland Security's Office of Inspector General has released a number of bombshell reports spotlighting federal government waste. A startling report in September revealed that under the Biden-Harris administration, ICE wasted more than $100 million in taxpayer dollars on unused detention bed space.

The OIG report read, "We calculated ICE paid approximately $160 million for unused bed space under guaranteed minimum contracts."

To make matters worse, as of July, there were more than 425,000 convicted criminal immigrants and another 222,000 with pending criminal charges on the agency's non-detained docket, according to data released in September by ICE acting Director Patrick Lechleitner. The convicted and accused criminals were reportedly responsible for offenses ranging from traffic violations and theft to sexual assault and homicide.

Jessica Vaughan, the director of policy studies for the Center for Immigration Studies, called ICE's unused detention space "one of the most scandalous examples of negligence under the Biden administration."

Vaughan told Blaze News, "ICE left beds unused and closed detention facilities, even as illegal migrants surged over the border in historic numbers and even as they were releasing criminal aliens in the interior."

"Americans were killed by illegal aliens that they released who should have been and could have been detained and removed," she added.

‘The Biden administration should have at least finished the parts of the job that were paid for, but Congress let him get away with just throwing away the money.’

In a New York City-specific instance of inefficiency, taxpayers paid $432 million for a contract with Rapid Reliable Testing NY LLC, also known as DocGo, aimed at providing housing for illegal aliens. However, according to an August independent audit, over the first two months of the no-bid contract, DocGo received $1.7 million for nearly 10,000 hotel rooms for illegal immigrants that sat vacant.

New York City Comptroller Brad Lander (D) stated at the time, "Our detailed investigation into DocGo invoices and properties found a wide range of fiscal mismanagement and shoddy oversight — from DocGo overpaying security subcontractors by $2 million, skimming off over $400,000 in overhead for almost 10,000 unused hotels rooms, and failing to ensure promised social and casework services. Each misstep reveals that the administration failed to adequately vet the company or oversee their work."

A spokesperson for Democrat Mayor Eric Adams' office accused Lander's audit of "nitpick[ing]" during "an unprecedented international humanitarian crisis."

The wall

Vaughan told Blaze News that one of the most disgraceful examples of the federal government throwing away taxpayer dollars was the Biden-Harris administration's decision to stop the construction of the southern border wall after the materials had already been purchased and contractors had already been paid for the work.

"The materials sat and rusted out in the open for many months, until Texas purchased some of them. The Biden administration should have at least finished the parts of the job that were paid for, but Congress let him get away with just throwing away the money," Vaughan explained.

Last year, the New York Post reported that the administration was quietly auctioning off the unused materials for a fraction of the original $300 million cost.

The materials, auctioned on GovPlanet, fetched prices between $25,700 and $32,505. In October 2023, the federal government managed to recover about $116,000 by selling 28-foot metal fencing tubes. Previously, in September, it sold approximately $455,000 worth of unused border wall materials, and in August, it gained around $500,000 from similar sales.

Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) stated at the time, "This sale is a wasteful and ludicrous decision by the Biden administration that only serves as further proof they have no shame."

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) also criticized the administration for the move.

"Leaving the border open to terrorists while selling border security materials at a loss is Bidenomics in a nutshell," Cotton said.

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer called the sale of the materials an example of "waste and abuse of taxpayer dollars."

"We should be using tools already at our disposal to stop the surge of illegal border crossings. When someone is repeatedly breaking into your home, you don't sell the locks on the door," he added.

Days after the Biden administration was caught selling off the unused material, it announced that it planned to resume building a new 20-mile section of the wall along the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. The funding for the new section was reportedly appropriated by Congress in 2019.

The Biden administration had to purchase or seize private lands and bypass environmental laws to build the new section.

‘Dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies.’

Trump torched Biden for the reversal.

"So interesting to watch Crooked Joe Biden break every environmental law in the book to prove that I was right when I built 560 miles ... of brand new, beautiful border wall. As I have stated often, over thousands of years, there are only two things that have consistently worked, wheels, and walls!" he wrote on Truth Social.

"Will Joe Biden apologize to me and America for taking so long to get moving, and allowing our country to be flooded with 15 million illegals immigrants, from places unknown. I will await his apology!" he added.

Trump has vowed to finish the construction of the border wall once he returns to office.

When asked how the Trump administration can ensure taxpayer funds are no longer wasted on unused services and materials, Vaughan told Blaze News, "The incoming administration can end a lot of this waste by enforcing the law, by detaining illegal border-crossers and repatriating them swiftly, by using the accelerated forms of due process available under the law, by streamlining the immigration court processes, by reprogramming money from activities that benefit NGOs [nongovernmental organizations] and their illegal alien clients to activities that support immigration enforcement, and by denying federal law enforcement grants to sanctuary jurisdictions."

There is optimism that the incoming administration will focus on reducing unnecessary expenditures and removing the bureaucratic red tape within the federal government.

On November 12, Trump tapped Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Ohio entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy to lead his new Department of Government Efficiency, also known as DOGE. The two business leaders will be tasked with shrinking the federal government and ensuring taxpayers' dollars are used wisely.

Trump stated, "Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies - Essential to the 'Save America' Movement."

Biden-Harris DOJ drops charges against illegal aliens who allegedly tried to breach US military base



The Biden-Harris administration's Department of Justice has quietly and mysteriously dropped the charges against two Jordanian nationals who allegedly attempted to breach a Virginia military base in May.

Hasan Yousef Hamdan and Mohammad Khair Dabous, both in the country illegally, were accused of attempting to enter Quantico Marine Corps Base near Triangle, Virginia, while posing as Amazon delivery drivers, Blaze News previously reported.

'This whole case is more than curious.'

After they failed to produce access credentials, guards instructed the men to wait in a holding area for a secondary inspection. Instead of following the directive, the men reportedly attempted to proceed into the military base. Guards swiftly deployed vehicle denial barriers and prevented the men from entering.

One of the Jordanian nationals illegally crossed the southern border approximately a month before the incident, and the other man allegedly overstayed a student visa. Due to their illegal immigration status, the men were previously turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but they were released from federal custody.

The two men were facing misdemeanor trespassing charges after the May incident. However, in July, the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Virginia ordered their release on the condition that they attend their immigration proceedings and avoid military installations, Blaze News previously reported. They were released from detention after posting bail for their alleged crimes.

On Friday, the Washington Times reported that the Justice Department "quietly dismissed the charges" against Hamdan and Dabous.

The U.S. attorney in eastern Virginia dropped the charges in the interest of "the ends of justice," which the Times referred to as "boilerplate language" that failed to reveal any details about the decision.

Lawyers for the two men blamed the incident on a language barrier, claiming that Dabous was attempting to complete a delivery when he failed to understand the guard's instructions.

The Times reported that by September, it appeared prosecutors believed the event was a misunderstanding, yet they did not move to have the charges dropped until October 3.

Todd Bensman, a senior national security fellow for the Center for Immigration Studies, told the Times, "This whole case is more than curious."

"The government had many, many opportunities to dispel the notion that there was something more nefarious about this than met the eye. And they took a pass every time," he noted.

Congress requested more information about the incident, but according to House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-Tenn.), the Biden-Harris administration has been "delinquent" in answering lawmakers' questions.

Green told the Times, "We are aware that one of these men entered through the southwest border, claimed asylum, and was released into the interior just a month prior to the incident at Quantico."

"The circumstances surrounding this event remain concerning, and I urge the Biden-Harris administration to respond without further delay to Congress and the American people," he said.

The U.S. attorney's office and Hamdan's lawyer declined a request for comment from the Times. Dabous' legal representation did not respond to the news outlet's request.

Judge strikes blow to Biden-Harris admin’s mass amnesty program



On Thursday, a federal judge dealt a significant blow to the Biden-Harris administration’s plan to provide mass amnesty to at least 550,000 illegal aliens currently residing in the United States.

Earlier this year, a coalition of 16 Republican-led states, spearheaded by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and America First Legal, filed a lawsuit against the administration for its “Keeping Families Together” program. The program would have granted amnesty to illegal immigrant spouses and stepchildren of American citizens, Blaze News previously reported.

Additionally, the program would have permitted beneficiaries to parole in place, allowing them to remain in the country while their status is adjusted.

The lawsuit, filed by the 16 state attorneys general, argued that the administration’s claim that it would apply to roughly 550,000 illegal aliens was “likely a significant underestimate,” projecting that it could be closer to 1.3 million.

The complaint contended that the process was unconstitutional because it circumvented Congress and would “irreparably harm” the states’ communities.

U.S. District Judge J. Campbell Barker, a Trump-appointed judge, sided with the states’ lawsuit, striking down the program.

In his 74-page ruling, Barker stated that the administration’s program “focuses on the wrong thing in identifying ‘significant public benefits’ — the benefits of aliens’ new legal status, rather than their presence in this country.”

“The Rule exceeds statutory authority and is not in accordance with law for this reason as well,” he concluded, adding that the “defendants’ view stretches legal interpretation past its breaking point.”

“The court declares that defendants lack statutory authority … to grant parole ‘in place’ to aliens,” Barker wrote.

America First Legal Executive Director Gene Hamilton stated, “Since day one, the Biden-Harris administration has dedicated itself to the decimation of our immigration system and the erasure of our borders.”

“Time and again, the states stood up. And today, the great state of Texas and the courageous Ken Paxton, alongside a coalition of other brave attorneys general, succeeded in stopping an illegal program that would have provided amnesty to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens and paved the path for the largest administrative amnesty in American history,” Hamilton added.

Paxton wrote in a post on X, “Once again, we have stopped the Biden-Harris Administration’s radical attempts to destroy America’s borders and undermine the rule of law. This unlawful parole scheme would have rewarded more than 1 million illegal aliens with citizenship and incentivized millions more to break into our country. I look forward to the day when the federal government starts following the law again.”

The administration’s Department of Justice can decide to appeal Barker’s ruling.

Neither the White House nor the Department of Homeland Security responded to CBS News’ requests for comment.

Military draft agency amplifies Democrats' Trump-Hitler narrative with profane social media post



The federal government agency tasked with managing the military draft database reshared a profane social media post, amplifying Democrats' narrative likening President-elect Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler.

The New York Post reported that the Biden-Harris administration's Selective Service System shared an X post on Wednesday suggesting that with the re-election of Trump, the United States is headed toward a mandatory military draft.

'We are investigating this incident.'

The original post, written by a user going by the name "SloJoe," read, "For all you stupid f***s out there that still believe military service will be voluntary. Remember Germany 1936."

The post apparently referred to Hitler's decision in March 1935 to reinstate military conscription in Germany, directly violating the Treaty of Versailles. A year later, Hitler ordered 3,000 German troops to occupy the Rhineland, a demilitarized region of the country bordering France.

A CBS News report pointed out the agency's vulgar repost, stating, "What's going on with the @SSS_gov X account?"

The post remained on the agency's page for more than an hour before it was removed, according to the New York Post.

In June, Trump accused the Washington Post of coming "up with the ridiculous idea" that he would "call for Mandatory Military Service."

"The Story is completely untrue. In fact, I never even thought of that idea," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Under U.S. law, nearly all men between the ages of 18 and 25 are required to register with the Selective Service System.

The agency's website states, "While there is currently no draft, registration with the Selective Service System is the most publicly visible program during peacetime that ensures operational readiness in a fair and equitable manner."

The Selective Service System's recent social media blunder follows a wave of repeated claims from the left that Trump is a "fascist."

Democratic vice presidential nominee Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated that Trump's Madison Square Garden rally echoed a 1939 Nazi rally at the same venue. Walz claimed there was a "direct parallel" between the two events.

The Selective Service System released a statement on Thursday addressing the repost.

It read, "Yesterday an inappropriate X post related to a mandatory draft was reposted on the Selective Service Agency's X account. We are investigating this incident to determine how this happened and are proactively taking steps to prevent this from happening in the future. The reposted content was removed when we became aware of it. The content of the repost in no way reflects the views of the Selective Service System."

Responding to the agency's statement, one X user wrote, "Sounds to me like a DEI [diversity, equity, and inclusion] hire."

"We want a name and notice of their termination. Better cut them loose now instead of waiting until January," another user responded.

Liberal media shields Harris from disastrous jobs report



The Democratic Party's liberal media allies seem intent on shielding Vice President Kamala Harris from criticism regarding the administration's latest disastrous jobs report.

On Friday, the October report revealed that the Biden-Harris administration added only 12,000 more jobs to the economy — the lowest increase since December 2020. According to Fox Business, LSEG economists previously predicted a 113,000 job gain.

Trump 'acts like the economy is in the toilet, but that's just not true.'

While the private sector lost 28,000 jobs, the government "continued its upward trend in October," adding another 40,000 jobs, the report stated.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the "unemployment rate was unchanged at 4.1 percent in October."

These alarmingly low job-growth numbers come after the Department of Labor's preliminary annual benchmark report in August, which revealed job gains were overstated by more than 800,000 from April 2023 to March 2024, Blaze News previously reported.

The administration has repeatedly overestimated its projected job growth. The DOL's numbers were revised downward by 81,000 in August and by 31,000 in September.

The corporate media machine quickly came up with excuses for the Biden-Harris administration's weak job gains, blaming them on Hurricanes Helene and Milton, as well as the Boeing labor strike.

Those news outlets did not previously extend the same understanding to former President Donald Trump, who faced unprecedented economic challenges as a result of COVID-19. An NBC News article from 2020 torched then-President Trump for gaining "just 661,000 jobs for September."

On Friday, former New York state Sen. David Carlucci (D) told Fox News' Harris Faulkner that the economy is "a winning issue" for Harris.

Carlucci stated that Trump "acts like the economy is in the toilet, but that's just not true."

"Yes, people are struggling, and Kamala Harris knows that and says that, but you've got to take it in its entirety," he continued. "If we look at where we were four years ago, economists were saying we were headed towards a recession, possibly a depression."

Faulkner responded, "So exactly four years ago, around the time of the election, what was being handed was 1.4% [inflation rate]. So I'm confused. I don't think you want to go back four years because that's an easy conversation to have," she added.

Carlucci remarked, "He [Trump] was the second president after Herbert Hoover to leave with less jobs when he left office than when started office."

Taxpayer funds wasted on DHS outreach campaign to help illegal immigrants



The Biden-Harris administration's Department of Homeland Security has squandered taxpayer funds to erect billboards in Texas offering legal assistance to detained illegal immigrants.

A DHS source tipped off Fox News Digital about the billboards last week.

One of the advertisements read, "Your brother in immigration custody has rights."

"We're here to help," it adds.

The ads were created by the DHS' Office of the Immigration Detention Ombudsman, an independent office that "assists individuals with complaints about the potential violation of immigration detention standards or other misconduct by DHS (or contract) personnel." The office also oversees immigration detention facilities.

'Congress should NOT be funding propaganda to undermine our own laws.'

The DHS' decision to put up the billboards sparked outrage within the department's agencies, according to Fox News Digital.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol officers told the news outlet they are furious.

Fox News Digital journalist Bill Melugin stated, "Multiple DHS contacts I've talked to, including in ICE & Border Patrol, are outraged about the billboards, telling me their agencies are already working with limited funding/resources, and DHS is spending money on billboards that they feel work against them."

An ICE source called the ads "more than insulting."

A Border Patrol agent told Melugin, "This is so wrong."

When Fox News Digital reached out for comment, DHS responded with "a history lesson about the ombudsman office" but did not answer any questions.

"DHS and its employees provide the highest standard of care for individuals who are detained in its custody," the DHS stated.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) called the DHS' outreach campaign "insane."

"The news that DHS is using taxpayer money to launch billboards advocating 'rights' for individuals in 'immigration custody' should be alarming because it's a preview of the legal arguments that radical progressive democrats will use to argue against deportation of the millions dumped in America by Biden-Harris-Mayorkas," Roy stated. "Congress should NOT be funding propaganda to undermine our own laws. That's insane."

"Americans should not PAY for free legal advice to foreign criminals," Roy declared.

Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-Texas) said, "Whether it's FEMA splurging hundreds of millions of dollars on migrant housing or OIDO running ads like this, our government is hemorrhaging money on the wrong priorities."

"It's time for Congress to pull the plug on programs like these," he added.

Liberal media keeps heat on comedian’s joke while twisting itself in knots to spin Biden’s ‘garbage’ insult



The Democratic Party's corporate media allies spent the past few days condemning a comedian for a joke he made at former President Donald Trump's campaign rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

By Wednesday morning, many of those same media outlets were still focusing on that story while largely overlooking an insult by the current sitting president against Trump's supporters, which echoed the language used in the comedian's joke.

The liberal media outlets vehemently criticized Tony Hinchcliffe, a roast comedian, for his joke calling Puerto Rico a "floating island of garbage."

'Will the networks that obsessively covered a joke from a comedian ... cover the fact that the Kamala Harris campaign is insulting half of the country?'

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden made an appearance on CNN where he addressed Hinchcliffe's comedy at Trump's rally.

Biden stated, "The only garbage I see floating out there is his [Trump's] supporters."

Instead of reacting with the same outrage over Biden's incendiary language, the media fell in line with the White House's attempt to reinterpret the president's comments.

The White House transcript of Biden's statement included an apostrophe on "supporter's," suggesting that the president had referred to Hinchcliffe specifically.

In a statement, Biden said, "Earlier today I referred to the hateful rhetoric about Puerto Rico spewed by Trump's supporter at his Madison Square Garden rally as garbage—which is the only word I can think of to describe it. His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable. That's all I meant to say. The comments at that rally don't reflect who we are as a nation."

Many of the same media outlets gave the president a pass for his remark.

Politico entirely misrepresented Biden's comments, claiming the president "said 'the only garbage' was the 'hatred' of Trump supporters who said such things about American citizens."

The outlet released the full quote from Biden but included the misleading apostrophe.

Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance stated, "Will the networks that obsessively covered a joke from a comedian at a Trump rally cover the fact that the Kamala Harris campaign is insulting half of the country? Will they even report honestly on this disgusting behavior from our present leadership?"

Podcaster Tim Pool also reacted to the media's reporting.

Pool wrote on X, "Its funny because Tony Hinchcliffe made a joke, Biden was serious."

"Also spare me your apostrophe bullshit***, that was a complete sentence," he added.

U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) also was not buying the White House's spin on Biden's comment.

Donalds told CNN, "The first statement from Joe Biden, is the one that he truly believes. He does not think that people who disagree with him or his party, who support President Trump, are Americans. He thinks that they're garbage."

He compared Biden's Tuesday comments to remarks he made a few years ago.

"It was Joe Biden that went on the 'Breakfast Club', and he famously said that if you couldn't vote for him, then you weren't black. It's the same Joe Biden making the same type of statement four years ago. So, this is consistent with who he is," Donalds added.

Reporter Savanah Hernandez reacted to Biden's comment, writing on X, "Thank God Joe Biden called us all garbage, now I don't have to listen to the faux outrage over Tony Hinchcliffe's joke anymore AND he stole all of the momentum from Kamala's rally tonight."

"Biden out here single-handedly winning Trump the election. What a patriot," she said.

Grieving mother spotlights Biden-Harris admin's border failures in powerful new Trump ad: ‘Failed my daughter’



Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump released a poignant campaign advertisement on Monday afternoon that illustrates the heartbreaking consequences of the Biden-Harris administration’s open-border policies.

The ad features Alexis Nungaray, the mother of 12-year-old Jocelyn, who was allegedly brutally murdered by two illegal aliens from Venezuela. The men were initially captured by Border Patrol and released into the interior of the country just weeks before the murder in Houston, Texas.

'I truly believe this all could have been prevented.'

The suspects, Johan Jose Martinez-Rangel, 22, and Franklin Jose Peña Ramos, 26, are being investigated for potential ties to the vicious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, which has increased its presence in the U.S. under the current administration’s leadership.

On June 17, 2024, the men allegedly lured Jocelyn under a bridge as she was walking back home from a nearby convenience store. The suspects were accused of stripping her, binding her hands and ankles, sexually assaulting her for hours, and ultimately strangling her to death.

In Trump’s latest campaign ad, Jocelyn’s mother details the horrific murder and reaffirms her support of more robust border policies.

Alexis Nungaray said she woke up that morning to find her daughter was not home. She noticed her phone’s location was pinging a couple of minutes from their home.

“I start driving to the direction the phone was being pinged at, and I see a couple cop cars with lights on. I see yellow tape. And immediately my heart drops and sinks to the bottom of my stomach,” Nungaray stated.

“Kamala Harris was in charge of immigration and our borders,” she continued. “If we had better border policies and not open border and not these catch-and-release policies, I truly believe this all could have been prevented.”

“Under her being vice president of this country, my daughter’s life was ripped away from her,” Nungaray added. “She had her entire life ahead of her. My daughter is six feet in the ground based off of policies that she allowed to keep. Kamala Harris did have one job, and she not only failed, not me, she failed my daughter.”

Nungaray explained that Trump reached out to her after Jocelyn’s murder and gave her “his sincerest condolences as not a former president, but just as a father — someone who cares.”

She stated that with Trump back in office, “I can at least know that my next child will be safe in this country.”
