Newly released footage reportedly shows white Ohio elementary students dragged, beaten, and forced by black peers to pledge loyalty to BLM

Newly released surveillance footage appears to confirm earlier reports of a possible hate crime committed last month at an Ohio elementary school.

TheBlaze previously reported that Springfield Police were dispatched to Kenwood Elementary on Feb. 13 to deal with possible assaults and menacing offenses that occurred on Feb. 10 during recess.

According to the police report, the school's principal, Evan Hunsaker, told law enforcement that a group of black students had herded several white students over to the playground and violently coerced them to state "'black lives matter' against their will."

The police report, which indicated the alleged assaults were of an "Anti-White" nature, claimed the suspects "also were recording the white students whom were forced to make the statement."

Children who had attempted to evade the coercive mob of junior identitarians were allegedly "chased down and escorted, dragged or carried" back to the playground.

Following a public records request by WKEF-TV, the City of Springfield released surveillance footage this week that appears to corroborate what Hunsaker had been told.

The video shows a child in a white shirt, in the grips of two larger students, escorted over to the playground and forced to his knees. On the way, one of the individuals violently shoving the child along appears to punch him in the head, just before another student can be seen bolting over, tackling the victim to the ground, and then beating on him.

Springfield Police Chief Allison Elliott said the incident is still being investigated, reported WDTN-TV.

"We are still working through speaking with everyone," said Elliott. "Our detectives worked diligently last week, all last week, to speak with people involved and try to try to figure out the details of the investigation to exhaust our resources and be doing our due diligence to investigate the matter thoroughly."

Ryan Springer, whose 12-year-old boy was apparently among those forced to recite the slogan of the scandal-plagued BLM movement, told WHIO, "I mean I’m angry as a parent but I understand they are children. It’s not okay to hate anybody because of their skin color, or their gender or sexual orientation, or anything like that. Nobody should be hating anybody."

"I'm more upset by the assault part of it — the children being forced down on the ground," Springer added.

Instead of activist-weaponized racial acrimony, Springer suggested, "They should just be worried about being children."

Krystal Harr, reportedly the mother of one of the victims, warned other Kenwood Elementary families on Facebook, "Watch your babies! This is getting unsafe!"

While local NAACP president Denise Williams agreed with how the school handled the incident, she suggested that charges should not be pressed against the alleged attackers. She told WKEF that she is concerned about the safety of the alleged aggressors.

"I’m worried about the safety of our children," said Williams, who has received calls from concerned parents. "It rose to the level of discrimination. It rose to the level of calling our black children out of their names."

Black Lives Matter Dayton issued a statement Tuesday afternoon, writing, "The Black Lives Matter Dayton group is disheartened to learn of the incident at Kenwood Elementary School in Springfield, Ohio, involving Black students’ alleged negative engagement towards White students while using the Black Lives Matter phrase."

BLM, the identitarian leftist group the Springfield aggressors allegedly forced their victims to pledge fealty to, was associated with the 2020 riots that did at least $1 billion in damage. Of the 8,700 BLM-related events at the time, 574 reportedly involved violent acts in over 140 cities, including shootings, arson, looting, vehicular crimes, and explosions.

RealClear Investigations reported that between six and 20 persons were killed in the BLM riots. One police officer was killed, and 2,037 officers were assaulted or injured; 16,241 arrests were made.

Extra to its links to violence, destruction, and transsexual activism, BLM calls for police to be defunded, for the disruption of the nuclear family, and for "a queer-affirming network."

The Springfield City School District did not respond to TheBlaze's inquiry about whether teachers or staff at the school have previously promoted BLM in their classrooms; whether CRT is taught in SCSD schools; and whether BLM activists have spoken to students in the past. However, the SCSD did release a statement after the incident indicating that it is "committed to providing our students with a safe learning environment, where they look forward to attending every day."

BLM protesters chant 'Every city, every town, burn the precincts to the ground!' as second night of Philadelphia riots erupt

Black Lives Matter protesters in Philadelphia were recorded reciting a violent anti-police chant during the second night of rioting over the deadly police shooting of Walter Wallace Jr. on Monday.

The protesters' chant was recorded by Blaze TV reporter Elijah Schaffer, who was told to stop recording shortly after capturing the video.

"Every city, every town, burn the precincts to the ground!" They chanted on the video before the frame jerks as an Antifa girl hits his camera. She is heard saying, "Stop filming!"

Protesters immediately mobilized after video of the police shooting of 27-year-old Wallace went viral on social media.

The video shows Wallace walking toward police as they yell at him and eventually shoot him. Police say he was armed with a knife and allegedly had it out as he approached them and ignored their commands.

Philadelphia erupted in violent protests and looting caught on social media that evening. On Tuesday, the rioting sparked up again with more videos of looting across the city.

Earlier in the evening, Schaffer documented some of the protesters, which he estimated at 400, marching through the streets.

More than 30 officers were hurt in the rioting on Monday, including a 56-year-old sergeant who was intentionally struck by a truck racing through an intersection with police officers attending to the riot. She suffered a broken leg as well as other injuries, police said.

More than 90 people were arrested during the rioting on Monday, most of which were charged with burglary, while 11 were arrested for assault on a police officer.

Joe Biden says much of the protest violence is a 'cry for justice' in speech to supporters

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden told supporters that much of the protest violence was a "cry for justice," even as protests were starting up for a second day in Philadelphia.

Biden was speaking to supporters Tuesday at a voter mobilization event in Atlanta when he made the comments.

"A season of protest has broken out all across the nation!" Biden said.

"Protesting though, is not burning and looting. Violence can never be a tactic or tolerated, and it won't, but much of it is a cry for justice from a community that has long had the knees of injustice on their necks," he added.

"The names of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Jacob Blake will not soon be forgotten, not by me, not by us, not by this country," Biden continued. "Folks, we're going to inspire a new wave of justice in America."

Biden appeared to confuse the case of Jacob Blake, who was shot by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, but survived, with the other two cases of lethal police shootings.

In contrast to Biden's statement, President Donald Trump has been forceful in his opposition to the goals and narratives of the Black Lives Matter movement.

In August, the president blasted "Democrat-run cities" for not opposing violent protests enough and said that greater force should be used against "thugs" in contrast to peaceful "friendly protesters."

Philadelphia erupts in protest

Biden's comments might not be welcome among those suffering in the violent rioting in Philadelphia after 27-year-old Walter Wallace Jr., a black man who was shot and killed by police Monday afternoon when he reportedly charged at them with a knife.

The neighborhood community erupted after startling video of the deadly encounter went viral on social media. The violence quickly escalated out of control in many parts of the city on Monday.

Police cars were set on fire and officers were assaulted as the crowds swelled. Video posted to social media showed police retreating as crowds attacked them. At least 30 people were arrested on the first night of the violence.

MSNBC's Joy Reid claims there's 'absolutely zero' evidence BLM has ever advocated violence. Videos and photos show otherwise.

MSNBC anchor Joy Reid claimed Thursday that there is "absolutely zero" evidence that Black Lives Matter has ever advocated violence.

"There is absolutely zero, none, zero evidence that Black Lives Matter has ever pushed for anything violent, pushed for anything violent to happen to police," Reid said Thursday night in response to comments made by President Trump during the presidential debate in Nashville, Tennessee.

"Black Lives Matter is about one thing: Stop killing black people just because you pulled them over for parking or moving violation. Just stop killing black people," she said. "They have never advocated violence against police."

— Daily Caller (@Daily Caller)1603421812.0

Is that true?

Reid has apparently been living under a rock for the last five months as anti-police protests have erupted across the country following George Floyd's death in late May in Minneapolis — a vast majority being connected to the Black Lives Matter movement. While many of those demonstrations remained generally peaceful, it has been well-documented, to say the least, by social media footage and local news reporting, that several have also turned violent.

That said, it is possible that Reid is choosing to ignore the actions of BLM protesters and instead suggesting that BLM leaders have not actually called for such violence to occur.

The problem is, even that claim is on very shaky ground.

During the debate, Trump had made reference to a 2015 event in St. Paul, Minnesota, in which BLM protesters chanted, "Pigs in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon!" apparently in reference to police officers. A BLM leader who organized the protest later admitted the chant was real but attempted to explain that the whole thing was a misunderstanding.

Reid explained the charge away by alleging the chanters were an "offshoot, separate group of people." But there are several other instances that would need some explaining away, as well.

In June, Hawk Newsome, chairman of Black Lives Matter of Greater New York, told Fox News' Martha MacCallum that BLM would "burn down this system" if the country "doesn't give us what we want."

"I could be speaking figuratively. I could be speaking literally. It's a matter of interpretation," he added.

Then in August, a viral video circulated on social media that showed an unidentified Black Lives Matter leader calling for open violence against the police, saying, "I'm at a point where I'm ready to put these police in the f***ing grave!"

The activist appeared to be standing up in front of a crowd of BLM protesters in Washington, D.C., when he made the shocking remarks.

"I want to take the fight to them and at the end of the day, if they won't hear us, we burn them the f*** down!" he continued. "I'm one that talk real s***! I talk it in New York and I talk it in D.C. The same way I f*** police up in New York, I f*** cops up in here in D.C. The same way I bust police in the head in New York, I bust police in the head in D.C.!"

Perhaps a more likely explanation for Reid's inaccuracy on the issue is that she, not President Trump, has blinders on about the Black Lives Matter movement.

This wouldn't be surprising since MSNBC has had a difficult time accurately assessing a violent situation before. Take for example, MSNBC reporter Ali Velshi, who said protests in Minneapolis in May were "not, generally speaking, unruly," as buildings literally burned behind him.
