Was the FBI Utah raid a WARNING to MAGA Republicans?

Craig Robertson was a 75-year-old man standing at 5’4” and weighing in at 300 lbs. He walked with a cane and was extremely limited physically.

Doesn’t sound like much of a threat, but apparently the FBI disagreed.

On August 8, after Robertson – a known Trump supporter – allegedly posted several threats against President Biden and other Democrats on social media, the FBI reportedly raided his home, shot him dead, and then placed his body on the sidewalk outside his home for the entire neighborhood to witness.

Considering Robertson’s stature and seniority, Pat Gray certainly thinks the FBI’s response was extreme and unnecessary.

“Yes, he said threatening things about the president and should not have,” Pat admits, but “the Secret Service should’ve showed up at his door and arrested him for it … you didn't need to send an FBI kill squad to shoot the guy dead.”

“It’s almost as if they knew that by breaking down the door with their warrant … the guy would reach for his weapon,” Jeffy says, suggesting the FBI may have baited Robertson in order to justify shooting him.

Thousands of violent threats have been made against Donald Trump, many of which came from government officials.

“Did the FBI / SWAT unit show up at any of their homes to shoot them dead? I don’t think so,” says Pat.

Christian NFL quarterback got blasted for poor play, even smeared as 'bad teammate.' But rookie QB lauds him as 'unbelievable human being' after quiet, 'classy' gift.

NFL quarterback Carson Wentz made a serious case as the Most Valuable Player during the Philadelphia Eagles' magical season five years ago.

But Wentz suffered a season-ending knee injury late that year — and then watched backup Nick Foles shock the sports world by leading the Eagles to a Super Bowl victory against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Things haven't been the same for Wentz since.

He endured further injuries, being benched, a trade to the Indianapolis Colts, and then just a season later, a trade to the Washington Commanders. In that time, Wentz has been ripped constantly for poor play — but far worse, he's been accused repeatedly of being a "bad teammate," not only when he was with the Eagles but also during his stint with the Colts. One writer even accused Wentz of being the recipient of white privilege.

None of this can possibly sit well with Wentz, who's an outspoken and committed Christian. Unfortunately, things this season have been much the same: another injury, another benching, and then heaps of blame for the Commanders missing the playoffs.

But amid what may have been the lowest of low points this season, Wentz quietly did something that shows by many accounts that he's not only a good teammate but also that he possesses a ton of class.

'He's just an unbelievable human being'

Wentz watched from the sidelines as rookie quarterback Sam Howell made his first NFL start Sunday and promptly led the Commanders to a victory over the heavily favored Dallas Cowboys. According to Howell, Wentz gave him his suite at the Commanders' stadium so Howell's family could enjoy the game all the more:

“Sam Howell had his family in town for his debut. Carson Wentz gave Howell his suite for the occassion.”
— Ben Standig (@Ben Standig) 1673228081

"I know a lot of people have said some negative things about Carson, but he's just an unbelievable human being, and he's just awesome to be around, and for him to give me his suite for my first start means a lot," Howell said.

Here's what a few others had to say about Wentz's move:

 • "Regardless of how things ended up on the field, Carson Wentz was an excellent teammate," Commanders Wire tweeted.
 • "Classy Carson," MLFootball tweeted.
 • "Sam Howell’s family and friends were sitting in Carson Wentz’s suite at FedEx Field Sunday," another commenter said. "Scorned and criticized by fans, Wentz rose above it to do a good thing for his teammate."
 • "Never seen an NFL player navigate a gauntlet of injury, regime change, and disrespect the way [Wentz] has and still carry themselves with absolute class," another user observed.
 • "Carson Wentz is and has been nothing but class," another commenter noted.
 • "Even though things didn’t go well here for Wentz, I will always support him because of the class he showed," another user said.

Here's a post with some photographic evidence that takes a satirical shot at Wentz's critics. Content warning: Language

“Solid showing from Howell. But look in background. There’s terrible teammate Carson Wentz being very unsupportive of the rookie QB. He’s even smacking his hands together aggressively. How selfish.

Dude can’t play QB anymore, but the bad guy bad teammate narrative is bullshit.”
— Papa Jack (@Papa Jack) 1673284663

And more kudos from a college basketball coach:

“Character, class, and professionalism.

Rookie Sam Howell (QB3) starts and scores a touchdown for the Commanders.

Before he can get to the sideline he is greeted with huge smiles, high fives and love from teammates including QB2 Taylor Heinicke and QB1 Carson Wentz.”

Defund-the-police advocate running for Senate calls Rand Paul's campaign ad 'dangerous'

Despite losing in the Democrat Senate primary in 2020, defund-the-police advocate and former Kentucky state Rep. Charles Booker won his party's nomination in May and is presently running against Republican Sen. Rand Paul in the November election. On Tuesday, Booker accused Paul of employing "dangerous and dishonest rhetoric" in a new campaign ad posted to social media earlier this week. The ad denounced by Booker highlights ties between the Democrat's campaign and persons who have allegedly committed or celebrated political violence.

The Republican Party of Kentucky rallied behind Paul and his message, stating on Monday, "Charles Booker and his far-left allies espouse dangerous views and tactics. ... It is beyond time for him and his supporters to apologize for joking about the serious attack that left Senator Paul with six broken ribs."

Sen. Paul's ad and Democrat violence

The Paul campaign ad stated that "the Charles Booker campaign has repeatedly embraced people who celebrate and glorify the violent attacks against Senator Paul."

“Civil debate is an admired quality in a Republic but justifying, mocking, or celebrating violence, as documented in this video of Charles Booker and his allies, should be rejected.”
— Rand Paul (@Rand Paul) 1664833333

The ad alleged that Kevin Mays, a Brooker campaign volunteer, tweeted a "graphic doctored image" of Paul with a broken neck and published the senator's home address.

The ad also claimed that Amy Jean, who has been featured in at least one Brooker campaign ad, expressed her belief that the man who sent Paul to the emergency room was a "hero" whom she often thought about.

In 2017, Amy Jean's "hero," Rene Boucher, assaulted Paul, breaking the senator's ribs and leaving Paul with a "significant injury" that he now suffers "lifelong symptoms from." Boucher pled guilty to assault charges.

In the same year, Paul was among those who survived a shooting in which Republicans practicing for a charity baseball game were targeted. The leftist gunman, James Hodgkinson, was a supporter of Democrat Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.). He wounded Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) and three others.

In 2020, an enraged mob of BLM activists attacked Paul and his wife, Kelley Ashby Paul, as they attempted to return to their hotel after the conclusion of the Republican National Convention. The mob that swarmed the Pauls chanted, "No justice, no peace," and "Say her name, Breonna Taylor."

Paul, endorsed by the Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police this week, later noted that he was the author of the federal legislation to prohibit police officers from using no-knock warrants like the one that led to the shooting of Taylor. "The irony is lost on these idiots that they're trying to kill the person who's actually trying to get rid of no-knock raids."

Republican Sen. Rand Paul swarmed by protesters after Trump speech youtu.be

After the ordeal, Paul told "Fox and Friends," "We can't let our cities be taken over by these marauders and thugs."

The Paul campaign's ad pointed out that Charles Booker campaigned with accused assassin Quintez Brown, the BLM activist who was charged earlier this year with the attempted assassination of Louisville, Kentucky, mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg. According to police, Brown fired multiple shots at Greenberg as the mayoral candidate exited his campaign headquarters. One bullet grazed Greenberg's shirt.

— Craig Greenberg (@Craig Greenberg) 1644857158

The Paul campaign ad concluded by saying, "It's clear: Charles Booker doesn't believe in civil discourse, only violence."

Booker's response

Booker responded to the ad, suggesting it "grossly lies about me and, in a very sinister way, attacks several Kentucky citizens by name."

He added, "Neither I, nor my campaign, have ever endorsed violence against any political candidate. It is despicable for Rand Paul to even insinuate that."

In an advertisement entitled "Pain of our Past" posted to YouTube on June 1, Charles Booker put a noose around his neck and insinuated that a vote for Paul was tantamount to a tightening of the noose.

Booker alluded to the historic use of lynching as a "tool of terror" and as a means of killing "hopes of freedom" and stated that Paul stands to "forever hold us back." The Hill reported that in the ad, after Booker criticized Paul, he said, "The choice couldn't be clearer," at which time the "sounds of a tightening rope can be heard."

Pain of our Past youtu.be

In criticizing the Paul campaign's Monday ad, Booker claimed that "Rand Paul has used racially charged dog whistles throughout his campaign to paint a violent picture of me."

Notwithstanding Booker's recent and past accusations that Paul is racist, the AP reported that during his Senate tenure, Paul has frequently visited mostly black neighborhoods, supporting criminal justice reforms, anti-violence efforts, and education initiatives.

Booker, critical of the rhetoric employed by Paul's campaign, previously stated, "Rand Paul has built a career out of weaponizing hate and hiding his hand." He suggested further that Paul was a "privileged, spoiled brat."

Defunding the police

When Booker announced his intention to run again last year, Paul said he didn't think that "defunding the police and forcing taxpayers to pay for reparations will be very popular in Kentucky."

J. McCauley Brown, chair of the Kentucky Republican Party, concurred, suggesting, "Charles Booker's extremist agenda has zero chance with Kentucky voters. He supports the radical socialist policies of D.C. Democrats like defunding the police, the Green New Deal and forcing taxpayers to pay for reparations."

Universal basic income and so-called racial justice are two pushes that occupy much of Booker's focus. The latter is what prompted him to take part in numerous identitarian Marxist protests. A spokesman for the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, which endorsed Booker during his failed 2020 campaign, lauded Booker for showing up at BLM protests and for "being engaged in the movement for Black lives."

Booker told the Root that he supported defunding the police and that the legal system was "woven with racism." According to Booker, police saw black Americans as deadly weapons, not as human beings. He proposed reallocating police funding to other services in the hope bolstering "public safety."

Earlier this year, Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy indicated Paul led Booker in the polls by 15 points.

Louisville mayoral candidate so close to being shot, there was a bullet hole in his sweater

A mayoral candidate in Louisville, Kentucky, came so close to being shot at his campaign office that he found a bullet hole in the sweater he was wearing.

The harrowing incident unfolded at about 10 a.m. Monday at the campaign office of Craig Greenberg, a Democratic mayoral candidate.

Greenberg told reporters in a media briefing that a man came to the door of the campaign office while he was there with two members of his staff and fired several gunshots in his direction.

“One of my teammates was standing to the side of the door and was able to get the door slammed,” Greenberg said. “Then he and other teammates that were closer to the door just threw tables and desks to barricade us in.”

That's when Greenberg said that he found the hole in his sweater from the bullet that grazed him.

Louisville Metropolitan Police Dept. Chief Erika Shields told reporters that police responded to calls about the shooting and immediately cleared the building once they arrived.

News cameras later captured the moment that Greenberg and his staff were led out of the offices by the SWAT team.

Police apprehended a suspect in the shooting but did not release his identity to the public.

"We have no known motive at this time. We need to allow the investigators to do the appropriate work," said Shields to reporters.

She would not answer whether anyone in Greenberg's office knew of the suspect before the shooting.

Greenberg tweeted after the incident to let people he and his staff were unharmed.

My team and I are fortunately all safe. We are all with LMPD now. I will provide an update as soon as possible. Thank you for the outpouring of support.
— Craig Greenberg (@Craig Greenberg) 1644857158

“It’s not lost on me that the violence my staff and I experienced today is far too common in our city,” said Greenberg to reporters. “Too many Louisville families have experienced the trauma of gun violence. Too many in Louisville were not as blessed as my team and I were today to survive. Clearly, much more work needs to be done to end the senseless gun violence and make Louisville a safer place for everyone.”

Greenberg said he would not speculate on the motivation of the suspect behind the shooting until police come to a conclusion in their investigation.

Trump team responds to Democrats' impeachment testimony request: We won't take part in your 'public relations stunt'

After Democratic impeachment managers formally requested that former President Donald Trump testify under oath at the Senate impeachment trial next week, Trump's legal team shot back calling the whole ordeal a "public relations stunt" and "unconstitutional."

"We are in receipt of your latest public relations stunt," wrote Trump attorney David Schoen in a response letter to lead impeachment manager, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.).

"Your letter only confirms what is known to everyone: you cannot prove your allegations against the 45th President of the United States, who is now a private citizen," he added. "The use of our Constitution to bring a purported impeachment proceeding is much too serious to try to play these games."

According to the Daily Beast, Trump adviser Jason Miller clarified in a statement to the news outlet, saying, "The president will not testify in an unconstitutional proceeding."

— Asawin Suebsaeng (@Asawin Suebsaeng)1612472264.0

Raskin had made the request in a letter to Trump and his attorneys on Thursday, alleging that they denied "many factual allegations" in their legal answer to the impeachment charge filed on Tuesday.

"You have thus attempted to put critical facts at issue notwithstanding the clear and overwhelming evidence of your constitutional offense," Raskin wrote in the letter. "In light of your disputing these factual allegations, I write to invite you to provide testimony under oath, either before or during the Senate impeachment trial, concerning your conduct on January 6, 2021. We would propose that you provide your testimony (of course including cross-examination) as early as Monday, February 8, 2021, and no later than Thursday, February 11, 2021. We would be pleased to arrange such testimony at a mutually convenient time and place."

Raskin asked that Trump reply with an answer by 5 p.m. Friday.

On Tuesday, Trump's legal team rebuffed charges laid out by Democrats that he incited the violence at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 or that he attempted to disrupt the counting of Electoral votes. Instead the defense claimed that Trump was acting within his constitutional rights by expressing "his belief that the election results were suspect" and in no way directed his supporters to act violently.

While the formal request by no means requires Trump to testify, it perhaps serves as a sign the Democrats plan to make an aggressive case against him.

However, despite the Democrats' bluster, the trial is not expected to result in a conviction. Last week, 45 of the GOP's 50 senators voted to object to impeachment proceedings in a procedural motion, leading Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) to call the whole prospect "dead on arrival." Democrats would need at least 17 Republican senators to vote in support of impeachment to convict Trump.

The Associated Press reported that GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham (S.C.), a staunch ally of Trump, said the letter is nothing more than a "political ploy."

This week, Graham threatened Democrats against turning the dead-end trial into a lengthy "political commercial" by calling witnesses, warning Republicans would open up "Pandora's box" and turn the spectacle back on them.

Elderly Trump supporter attacked, protesters shoot fireworks at diners, surround hotel of Million MAGA March attendees

Thousands of Trump supporters gathered in Washington, D.C., on Saturday for the Million MAGA March. The first hours of the rally for President Donald Trump was a peaceful protest. Then counterprotesters entered the area by mid-afternoon. Right before nightfall, there were numerous attacks on Trump supporters, including an assault of a multiracial family and one man was knocked out. The violence against Trump supporters only grew as the massive crowds from the "Stop the Steal" rally diminished and the sun set.

A swarm of counterprotesters surrounded and harassed an elderly couple holding a Trump flag in Washington, D.C. Some in the group were holding signs for Refuse Fascism, a self-described "national movement organizing to drive out the Trump/Pence regime."
