Tucker Carlson tells Glenn Beck that Boris Johnson asked $1 million for interview on Ukraine, calls him 'sleazier' than Putin

Tucker Carlson said that an advisor to former U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson told him he would need to pay $1 million when the host asked for an interview.

Carlson made the accusation while speaking to Glenn Beck, nationally syndicated radio host and co-founder of Blaze Media, about his much maligned interview with Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin.

"So, I'm over in Moscow waiting to do this interview. It gets out that we're doing it, and I'm immediately denounced by this guy called Boris Johnson, who was for a short time the prime minister of Great Britain," said Carlson.

"And Boris Johnson calls me a tool of the Kremlin or something. And I'm thinking, 'His name is not actually Boris,' as I'm sure you know. His name is Alex Johnson. He called himself Boris in high school. So, the guy who calls himself Boris is accusing me of being [a tool of the Kremlin]," he laughed.

"So, I was annoyed, and so I put in a request for an interview as I have many times because he's constantly denouncing me as a tool of the Kremlin. He says no," Carlson continued.

He said that he reached out to people who know Johnson in order to seek an interview.

"Finally, one of his advisors gets back to me and says, 'He will talk to you, but it's going to cost you a million dollars.' He wants a million dollars," Carlson said.

"What?!" exclaimed Beck.

"In U.S. dollars, gold or bitcoin. No, this just happened yesterday or two days ago," Carlson said.

He went on to accuse Johnson of being responsible for the deaths in the Ukraine-Russia war because of a report that he intervened against a peace offer by Russia, something Johnson has vehemently denied.

"This is, by the way, the guy who single-handedly, at the request of the U.S. government, stopped the peace deal in Ukraine a year and a half ago, and is, I think, for that reason, responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands people. He won't explain any of that to me in an interview until I pay him a million dollars," Carlson said.

Carlson then compared Johnson to Putin.

"Putin didn't ask for a million dollars! So, you're telling me that Boris Johnson is a lot sleazier, a lot lower than Vladimir Putin! Which is true! So this whole thing is a freaking shakedown!" he exclaimed.

"This is a money laundering operation," Carlson continued. "A lot of the people involved in it are taking money from it. And if you're making money off of war, you can deal with God on that because that's really immoral — like, that's actually really really wrong. And a lot of people are, including Boris Johnson."

Carlson took aim at his other critics during the first interview in the U.S. since he returned from Moscow.

Blaze News reached out to Boris Johnson for comment but did not receive a response by the time of publication.

4 BOMBSHELLS from Tucker Carlson's interview with Devon Archer

Tucker Carlson might have been ousted from Fox News, but that certainly hasn’t hurt his lineup of interviewees.

After Devon Archer testified before Congress about Joe Biden’s knowledge of Hunter’s foreign business ventures, he sat down with Tucker on Twitter for a tell-all interview.

“Tucker was speaking Archer’s language,” Glenn Beck observes, before diving into some massive bombshells dropped during the interview.

In one clip, Archer tells Tucker that Hunter “was the guy that was the expert in knowing the guy.”

The “guy,” Archer explains, was Hunter’s “brother, his father, some of his father’s siblings.”

“I think we all understand what is being said here,” Glenn comments.

In another clip, Archer confirms that Joe Biden knew that businessmen were present during a call with Hunter.

“I can definitively say at particular dinners or meetings, he knew there were business associates,” Archer tells Tucker. He then adds, “I don’t know if it was an orchestrated call-in or not. It certainly was powerful, though, because, you know, if you’re sitting with a foreign business person and you hear the vice president’s voice, that’s prize enough.”

Tucker continues to press Archer. “You’re taking a call from the vice president, and you put it on speaker. It’s not just ‘Hey Dad, I’m in a meeting with some buddies,’ it’s ‘Let me put my dad, the vice president, on speaker.’”

“In the rearview, it’s an abuse of soft power, I’d say,” Archer responds.

Tucker then shows Archer a letter from Joe Biden to Archer himself, dated 2011.

“This is from the vice president of the United States, Joe Biden, to you personally,” Tucker begins.

In the letter, Biden writes: “Dear Devon, I apologize for not getting a chance to talk to you at the luncheon yesterday. I was having trouble getting away from hosting President Hu.”

“Here’s the vice president of the United States saying to you — a man in his mid-30s who’s not a government official — ‘I’m sorry I was occupied with the guy who runs the world’s largest country, I would much rather talk to you,’” Tucker comments to Archer.

“He was thanking me and thanking Hunter, I think, at the end of the day for bringing this idea of this government regulatory strategic advisory business into the private equity world, and I think he was excited about the prospects for Hunter,” Archer responds.

Glenn believes this was an excellent and eye-opening interview.

“I think Tucker played this expertly. He approached him as a peer.”

4 times Tucker Carlson said what we were ALL THINKING at the FAMiLY Leadership Summit

By Glenn Beck’s own admission, Tucker Carlson and he haven’t always been the best of friends.

However, there is something special about Tucker — and Beck knows it.

“God is using him. He has moved on him greatly. Please, add Tucker to your prayers,” Beck says, adding, “something really good is going to come out of what Tucker is doing.”

The founder of Blaze Media recently sat down with Tucker for the first time since he was ousted from Fox News, and he was impressed, to say the least.

In their one-on-one interview at the FAMiLY Leadership Summit, Beck recalled Tucker completely surprising him multiple times.

“You said something that I absolutely believe, and it is crazy to say it now, I think we absolutely blew up the Nord Stream pipeline,” Beck said.

“Of course we did,” Tucker replied.

“It’s a big deal, I mean on many levels. It was an environmental catastrophe,” Tucker added. He also believed it was “an act of vandalism,” an “attack on infrastructure,” and “an attack on our closest NATO ally, Germany, which used that pipeline to fund its entire manufacturing center.”

“We just attacked our ally,” he continued.

Beck also discussed the media’s attack on the truth with Tucker, who believes that the only time anyone becomes outraged at what someone reports on is when they're reporting the truth.

“When you say something true — that’s actually true, really true — people become hysterical and call for your murder and certainly call for your de-platforming,” Tucker said.

He also believes that while politicians are charming and many of them are quite likable, many of them, even Republicans, are incapable of answering questions.

“You’re trying to run the country and you’re mad that I’m, like, trying to get you to be more precise about your answers that you should have memorized already.”

BREAKING: Could losing Tucker Carlson DESTROY Fox News?

It has just been announced that Tucker Carlson and Fox News are parting ways, and fans everywhere are in shock. The hashtag #RIPFoxNews is already trending on Twitter in response.

While there are already theories floating around, according to Glenn Beck, “We’re in wild speculation territory” when it comes to the news of Tucker’s departure.

Beck says it “could be that he was fired” because of the Dominion Voting Sytems lawsuit, but either way, it’s “a suicidal move for Fox,” he says.

“If it’s their move,” Stu adds.

Stu reads the company's statement regarding Tucker’s departure from Fox News: “Fox News media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways.”

Glenn says, “That’s exactly what they said, I think, when I left.”

“And that has always been framed as you got fired, which I know for a fact that’s not true considering I saw their offer for your extension,” Stu adds.

Despite the jarring news, Glenn sees this as an opportunity.

“Would you sign up for TheBlaze right now?” Glenn asks so TheBlaze will have a “bucket full of money” to throw Tucker’s way.

“More than ever, where are you going to get the truth? Tucker was the only guy out there that I felt was in the mainstream media that was telling America the truth. Who’s doing that? There’s nobody in the mainstream media. Nobody,” Glenn says.

Glenn and Stu note that this is all happening at Tucker’s peak, which makes it more unbelievable. Even just last week, Tucker had a groundbreaking interview with Elon Musk.

“You get a sit-down with Elon Musk at this time with everything that’s going on between the Starship and Twitter — and you’re gone the next week? Never seen anything like it,” Glenn adds.

Carlson: 'I know deception when I see it'

Tucker Carlson’s been under fire the past few days, and a lot of it has to do with his recent discovery.

What was it?

Well, he received never-before-seen tapes of the so-called violent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th and joined Glenn Beck to talk about them.

One of the clips shows the infamous “shaman” from the tapes being led through the Capitol Building by police, calmly and alone.

He explains that he “can't even guess as to what motivated them, to what we’re looking at here — but what [he] can guess is that this is not an act of violent terrorism.”

When pressed on why we’ve been told the riots were something that they weren’t, he continues, “The main conclusion that I drew is that Chuck Schumer, and the horrible lieutenant minority leader, Mitch McConnell, filthy man, and Mitt Romney, and Thom Tillis, and Senator Cramer of North Dakota, like, they’re all lying. They’re all lying.”

He asks, “Why are they lying about what we can see plainly, and why didn’t they want us to see it?” He continues, “I know deception when I see it.”

It’s a fair question, and one that has to be on many Americans' minds as more evidence comes to the surface.

Carlson takes another shot and says, “It’s not enough to say, ‘Oh, it was the worst violent insurrection since Gettysburg’ or something. Stop with the overstatement, the hyperbole, and just explain to me what I’m looking at on the screen.”

Beck adds to it, asking, “Why aren’t they standing up and defending their own honor and integrity?”

It seems that honor and integrity are the last things on their minds.

Carlson doesn’t quite have an answer, saying, “If I allow you to lie to me, then I’m no longer a free man. I’m a slave.”

But he has a theory about their motivation. He explains, “This was a complex event in many facets. They simplified immediately into a good-vs-evil tale, as they do with everything, partly because they lack nuance and imagination, sophistication. But partly because this was a tool they were using for a purpose. It was a cudgel they were using to beat down their opponents and grab more power for themselves. And in effect, what it did was change the definition of terrorism.”

But what have they changed the definition of terrorism to?

Carlson says ominously, they’ve changed it to “Republican voters.”

A terrifying thought, but is he wrong?
