Jeremy Boreing opens up on Daily Wire split: ‘It’s the biggest blow I’ve ever gone through’

Daily Wire co-founder Jeremy Boreing is speaking candidly about his unexpected departure from the company he helped build, revealing to BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey the emotional and personal toll the split has taken on him.

“I didn’t expect to be separated from the Daily Wire. It’s not what I wanted. It’s not something that I thought even could happen, much less would happen. It’s the biggest blow I’ve ever gone through,” Boreing tells Stuckey.

In the aftermath, Boreing has had to remind himself that “it’s OK to deal with embarrassment in life.”

“It’s OK to deal with setbacks in life. It’s OK to not be where you thought you’d be or not where you want to be, which are lessons that I knew very well in my 20s and 30s before Daily Wire because I failed a lot during that period,” he explains.

“So, I’m not in the place that had I hoped to be. I’ve moved back into an apartment, and that’s OK. I’ll just take the next step and do the next thing and keep acting in concert with what I hope are, on the majority of days, rightly ordered priorities,” he continues.

Those priorities, Boreing explains, are “mission first, business second, ego considerations third.”

And they’re what helped him create the Daily Wire.

“I couldn’t have dreamed of where my steps took me in relation to the Daily Wire. Certainly, Ben and Caleb and I never imagined when we started that company where it would go or the things that we would achieve or the places that it would take us,” he says.

While Boreing admits that he hates “how things ended at the Daily Wire” and hates many of his own choices while there, he says he is “incredibly proud of the Daily Wire.”

“I’m so proud of the work and the people and, you know,” he says, adding, “certainly would not say in any way that I regret the experience or regret the journey.”

TikTok video exposes America’s reading crisis: Why parents and schools are failing kids

A video has gone viral on TikTok for revealing a literacy crisis in America — showing high school students failing to read a very simple sentence: “She wore a silhouette of clothes that were extraordinary but somewhat gauche.”

And BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey believes that one of the reasons for this crisis is not only the method for teaching literacy in schools, but that the amount of parents reading to their children daily has dropped. And according to a study conducted by HarperCollins Publishers, the drop is significant.

“I saw this statistic that says only 41% of children aged 0 to 4 are read to daily as of 2025. That is a nine-point drop only since 2019. Only 55%, a little over half of children aged 0 to 5, are read to at least five days a week,” she continues.

“There are a lot of parents who are overstimulated. They’re tired. They’re distracted. It’s really not about these kids having their own lack of discipline. It starts with a lack of discipline and bad priorities for parents honestly,” she adds.

Stuckey believes that the difficulty parents face finding the time or energy to read to their kids is manifesting in "difficulty for them for the rest of their lives.”

And the reason this is creating so much difficulty for children is because “the comprehension of words is necessary for understanding the world.”

“It is very difficult to be a diligent student, an informed voter, a productive citizen, a helpful neighbor if you do not understand words,” Stuckey says.

But it’s not just the ability to participate in modern society that’s being threatened by the literacy crisis.

“Unlike Buddhism, Christianity does not place a premium on silence or the emptying of the mind. Christianity is a word-based faith. You go all the way back to the beginning. God spoke the universe into existence,” Stuckey explains.

“He dictated all of creation, including the creation of man and woman who were made in his image. He spoke to Noah. He spoke to and through Moses,” she continues.

This is why, Stuckey explains, Christians have historically been “the best communicators in the world.”

“Christians dominated academia in this country before giving it over to the liberals and the secularists over time. And now, I think we have the opportunity to take the lead again. We have to. I mean, look at where we are,” she says.

“We have schools that are not teaching kids to read. We have people going to college and becoming lawyers and doctors with barely a high school-reading level. We’re scared of objective standards here in the U.S., standards of excellence because of whom they might exclude,” she continues, adding, "And all of us are going to suffer for that.”

REVIEW: ‘Uncanny’ Michael Jackson biopic moonwalks past controversy

The Michael Jackson biopic is finally here, and it’s already smashing records after a $217.4 million worldwide opening — which is the biggest of all time for a biopic.

“You think you’re watching Michael Jackson. You forget that’s not Michael,” BlazeTV host Pat Gray comments on “Pat Gray Unleashed.”

“It’s uncanny,” he adds.

And while there have famously been allegations of child abuse at the hands of Jackson, the biopic didn’t cover them.

“His estate was sued again ... some more sexual abuse allegations. But the lawsuit is from that Cascio family who, they settled, but they claimed that the settlement was breached and broken,” Jeff Fisher explains, pointing out that the family initially claimed Jackson did nothing wrong but later changed their tune.

“It was really bizarre,” he says.

“I’ve always gone back and forth on that, but they don’t deal with it in the movie. I mean, they might in the future. I don’t know, because at the end of it, it says, ‘His story continues,’” Gray comments.

“So I don’t know if [the biopic] gives away too much, but it takes you up to 1988,” he adds, pointing out that this was before the allegations of child abuse.

“His story will continue,” executive producer Keith Malinak adds.
