FACT CHECK: X Post Falsely Claims Man Is Suing Biden Over ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Merch

A viral image shared on X claims a man is purportedly suing President Joe Biden over losing $10,000 on “Let’s Go Brandon” merch after Biden announced he was dropping out of the 2024 election. Man says he lost $10,000 in now-worthless “Let’s Go Brandon” merch. So he wants to sue Joe Biden for dropping out. […]

'Let's Go Brandon' wrapping paper — created by conservative company — expected to double in sales this year: 'We’re having tons of fun with this'

Wrapping paper adorned with the iconic, anti-Joe Biden phrase "Let's Go Brandon" is expected to double in sales this year, Fox News reported, citing the Georgia-based conservative apparel and lifestyle company that sells the novelty item.

What are the details?

The company is named Freedom Speaks Up — though the cable network said it was known as Bring Ammo around this time last year.

By the end of 2021, the wrapping paper idea — which got off the ground on a whim — turned into big-time sales, Fox News said, adding that the company sold over 500,000 square feet of the wrapping paper.

That equated to about $1 million in sales last year, company CEO Seth Weathers told the cable network, adding that Freedom Speaks Up has added similar products such as "Merry Easter" wrapping paper, which is yet another make-fun-of-Biden product.

Weathers added to Fox News that his outfit expects to roughly double its sales from last year: "We’re having tons of fun with this; there’s no way to spend twenty bucks and get more smiles on Christmas morning."

He noted in a 2021 story from the cable network that he came up with the "Let's Go Brandon" wrapping paper idea while talking with a friend; Weathers added that he asked a local printer if he could create it.

"We sent out an email, and it just started really blowing up quick," he noted to Fox News. "I kind of knew we were on to something at that point."

Anything else?

The "Let's Go Brandon" chant came to life last year after a reporter interviewing Brandon Brown — winner of the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama — tried in vain to convince the TV audience that the crowd was chanting "Let's go Brandon!" when the chant was clearly "F*** Joe Biden!"

With that, crowds began to chant "Let's go Brandon!" instead, which isn't profane on its face, except that leftists far and wide know exactly what the phrase means, and they became furious about it:

Here's a video report from last year about the wrapping paper's popularity:

Jill Biden bombarded with boos, 'FJB' chants at Eagles game. But neither could be heard on NBC broadcast: Report

First lady Jill Biden reportedly did not receive a warm reception at Lincoln Financial Field, the home of her beloved Philadelphia Eagles. Biden — who grew up in Hammonton, New Jersey, just outside Philadelphia — was an honorary captain for the Eagles' Sunday night matchup against their bitter NFC East rivals, the Dallas Cowboys. But when she attempted to help lead the crowd in a rendition of "Fly, Eagles, Fly," those in the stands reportedly responded by booing mercilessly and chanting expletives about her husband.

Mrs. Biden, who was on hand to support the Cancer Moonshot initiative, clearly knew the fight song and smiled as she sang ardently in front of nearly 70,000 raucous fans. NBC included a brief clip of her appearance on its national broadcast and then shared that clip on social media.

".@FLOTUS leads the crowd in #FlyEaglesFly ahead of kickoff," the official account of Sunday Night Football on NBC wrote in sharing the video on Twitter.

"Fly, Eagles, Fly" is the only sound coming from the audience in that clip. However, folks in the stands heard different sounds and shared their observations on social media.

According to Tea Party Patriots, the crowd booed and shouted "F*** Joe Biden."

In a video shared by Newsmax host Benny Johnson, some in an upper corner of the stadium were chanting a more family-friendly version of "FJB," "Let's Go, Brandon":

Others in attendance did not share video evidence, but still reported the boos and the chants on social media.

NFL veteran Clay Harbor, who was drafted by the Eagles in 2010 and spent three seasons with the team, wrote, "Philly just BOO’d Jill Biden BAD." He also included a laughing emoji to indicate he found the incident humorous.

Self-described "Eagles insider" John McMullen tweeted, "FLOTUS Dr. Jill Biden gets booed. Being an 'Eagles fan' didn't save her."

Several media outlets have also reported the story. Notable sports site OutKick is one such outlet, though writer Matt Reigle claimed late Sunday night that videos of the boos and "FJB" chants were difficult to find on social media. However, a quick search of "Jill Biden" on Twitter on Monday afternoon yielded dozens of tweets that included the video. It is unclear whether the videos were less readily available when his story was published.

Jill Biden's husband, President Joe Biden, is also a lifelong Eagles fan. In May 2021, he described his fellow Eagles fans as "the most informed and most obnoxious fans in the world."

Regardless of any supposedly anti-Biden sentiment from the crowd on Sunday, the Eagles went on to best the Cowboys, 26-17, and are now the only undefeated team in the league.

San Francisco to discipline firefighter for wearing 'Let's go Brandon' T-shirt

A San Francisco firefighter will be punished after he was pictured wearing a "Let's go Brandon" T-shirt while on duty in apparent violation of Fire Department policy.

Someone on Twitter took a photo of the firefighter and posted it on Saturday, tagging the San Francisco Fire Department and asking, "is this the new official uniform of the SFFD?" The user also tagged San Francisco Mayor London Breed and District 8 supervisor Rafael Mandelman.

The photo shows a firefighter wearing a navy blue T-shirt with the phrase "Let's go Brandon" on the back, which is a coded protest slogan against President Joe Biden. He appears to be standing with two other members of the Fire Department on the corner of Noe and 18th streets in San Francisco.

The phrase became a meme in October 2021 after an NBC sports reporter misheard a crowd chanting "F*** Joe Biden" after 28-year-old NASCAR driver Brandon Brown won his first-ever victory at the Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Alabama. The reporter incorrectly said the crowd was chanting "Let's go, Brandon" to celebrate his win.

Left-wing media has since dubbed "Let's go Brandon" a "right-wing slur" used to denigrate the president.

The Fire Department responded on Twitter, writing, "This is not the official uniform of the SFFD. This will be handled immediately. Thank you for bringing it to our attention."

In a statement to the San Francisco Chronicle, a spokesman for the department confirmed the firefighter will face disciplinary action for wearing "a non SSFD T-shirt" while on active duty and said the T-shirt "does not reflect the views and opinions" of the department.

“The Department took immediate action once made aware. The SFFD has followed internal and City policies to handle this incident,” the statement read.

The department did not respond to media questions about what disciplinary actions the employee will face.

This would not be the first time San Francisco officials have taken action in response to angry leftists on social media. In 2020, San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott banned rank-and-file police officers from wearing "thin blue line" face masks showing support for law enforcement after photos and videos of the officers circulated online. The police department said at the time that the face masks "may be perceived as divisive or disrespectful." They also appeared to violate a department policy regarding political symbols.

Photo shows MLB player Manny Machado wearing a 'Let's Go Brandon' t-shirt

Major League Baseball player Manny Machado of the San Diego Padres was photographed sporting a "Let's Go Brandon" t-shirt.

"Padres superstar Manny Machado repping a “Let’s Go Brandon” shirt at Spring Training," KUSI News tweeted along with a photo of the baseball player wearing the politically-charged apparel.

The phrase, which is a euphemism for the profane expression "F*** Joe Biden," emerged last year. As a reporter interviewed driver Brandon Brown last year after Brown had won a NASCAR race, members of the crowd could be heard chanting "F*** Joe Biden."

But the reporter remarked, "you can hear the chants from the, the crowd — Let's go Brandon."

The phrase "Let's Go Brandon" swiftly achieved significant popularity as an anti-Biden jab.

So far, the tweet from KUSI News has earned more than 43,000 likes on Twitter.

Some on social media expressed their approval, while others expressed disapproval.

"Well I officially have a new least favorite player," someone tweeted.

"Why am I not surprised. Idiot," another tweet said.

"And just like that I'm a Manny Machado fan," another tweet said.

"That is awesome," someone else declared.

"Some heroes wear capes, some swing baseball bats," another tweet stated.

President Biden has been underwater in various job approval polls for some time, which, unless there is a significant shift in public sentiment, could bode ill for Democratic candidates heading into the 2022 midterms elections later this year.

Alabama Man Wins Battle Over His ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ License Plate

An affront to the 'peace and dignity of the State of Alabama'

Mark Levin: Power-hungry flight attendants hassle passengers for wearing 'offensive' masks

Freedom of expression is under unprecedented attack as American Marxists and corporations silence opposition to their ideas. Now, in these telling videos, Mark walks you through the steps they employ in their evil game. It's a wake-up call to protect your precious liberties.

In this clip, Mark reviews two incidents involving a flight attendant targeting a passenger for wearing the wrong mask. The passenger in the first video was not only disallowed to exercise his First Amendment right of free expression, but he was also told he could not record the incident on his cellphone. Ultimately, the flight attendant kicked him off the flight.

"You don't throw people off of a plane for wearing a Let's Go Brandon mask," Mark said. "If I had a mask that said 1619 Project would they throw me off the plane? No."

A passenger on a different flight is asked to cover his "offensive" Let's Go Brandon mask with a crew-issued one. The man captured the incident on his cellphone and can be heard asking why his mask was an issue. According to the flight attendant, his mask can be "offensive to some."

"When you are power-hungry, there is no consistency to it. You are just power-hungry," Mark said.
