Mark Cuban joins the unigender uniparty

We all know what it is. We all have our favorite examples. Perhaps, like many, yours is Bruce Springsteen, whose new look is giving off Tilda Swinton trapped in a tanning bed.

It’s the unigender uniparty. It’s about much more than the occasional lesbian-style jokes aimed at aging celebrity men. It’s about the strange way our high-profile elites seem to be converging on a neutral (neuter?) public image — one that seems to convey through specific common cues that they are on their way toward transcending secondary and perhaps even primary sex differences.

Cuban is on the fast track to laughingstock status. But if he cracks and slaps back, he’ll have to choose between chaining himself even more tightly to his fellow unitards or somehow distancing himself from the team — always a dangerous decision in our digitally tribalized age.

And as the internet discovered this week, it has claimed Mark Cuban as its latest victim.

No longer the Wall Street-presenting alpha Chad familiar from "Shark Tank," Cuban has self-adjusted in keeping with his emergence as a top spokesbeing of the “progressive” upper management class — adopting, whether consciously or somehow otherwise, the smooth, animatronic presentation of the Masters of the Ellenverse.

But it’s the glasses that complete the picture and the glasses that have launched a million memes. Searching Cuban glasses on X returns an infinite scroll of references, who-wore-it-betters, and general japes — a chorus of mockery that, as of this writing, Cuban has declined to respond to, although it beggars belief that he hasn’t caught wind of the trend.

Taking advantage of the uncanny mutation, Elon Musk himself took a swing amid his MAGA road campaign. “Mark Cuban and Rachel Maddow are the same person,” he joked, reposting the visual evidence. “Don’t believe conspiracy theorists who claim otherwise!”

Cuban is on the fast track to laughingstock status. But if he cracks and slaps back, he’ll have to choose between chaining himself even more tightly to his fellow unitards or somehow distancing himself from the team — always a dangerous decision in our digitally tribalized age.

You’re in or you’re out — that seems to be the reality in the unigender uniparty, which won’t settle any more for mere ideological uniformity. Thou must be remade in its image to earn thy spot on the screen and stage. Surely, the final step into full posthumanity is just a reveal away. The choice is yours, Cuban. You must respond. Doth thy soul belong to the bespectacled Borg? Or dare you disavow?

Blaze News original: South Carolina Freedom Caucus stands for conservative principles while fighting the 'uniparty'

The South Carolina freedom caucus is a coalition of more than a dozen state representatives fighting to advance conservative principles in the Palmetto State, but while Republicans hold a massive majority in the chamber, the freedom caucus' struggle is not just against Democrats but Republicans as well.

State Rep. Josiah Magnuson (R), who serves as the Freedom Caucus' secretary, told Blaze News that Republicans as well as Democrats (which he collectively calls the "uniparty") both "have it out for the Freedom Caucus."

'Core group of ... absolute RINO establishment hacks ... Democrats that like to dress in ... drag and act like Republicans.'

State Rep. Adam Morgan (R), who chairs the conservative group, indicated to Blaze News that there is a pattern in which the freedom caucus raises an issue, other Republicans suggest it's not an issue, "we put it on the record, they vote against it, they all get hammered," but then the Republican opponents reverse course, and "we all together vote for whatever conservative principle" is at hand because they must face election.

He said that there is a "core group of ... absolute RINO establishment hacks ... Democrats that like to dress in ... drag and act like Republicans."

Morgan also indicated that there are many Republican lawmakers in the middle who sometimes vote with the freedom caucus but sometimes vote with leadership.

The Palmetto Truth Project has been attacking South Carolina Freedom Caucus members and candidates aligned with the freedom caucus, using mailers, mass text messages, and other means, according to Evan Newman of the State Freedom Caucus Network. Newman serves as the state director for the South Carolina Freedom Caucus.

President and owner of Starboard Communications Walter Whetsell, who does work with the South Carolina Republican Caucus, is also working with the Palmetto Truth Project.

Whetsell told Blaze News that the South Carolina "House Republican Caucus is one of many clients of ours that we provide consulting services for. We also work directly for many members of the House Republican Caucus on individual bases." He also noted, "We do provide consulting services to the Palmetto Truth Project as we do for more than two dozen or so clients."

Whetsell stated that "while members of the Freedom Caucus have been extremely misleading with their narrative to voters, they occasionally have slipped and admitted their real goal is to 'burn this place down.'"

He asserted that "the Post and Courier, has highlighted the Freedom Caucus deceptions on a variety of issues ... from allowing convicted felons to carry handguns in the open, to not rewarding law enforcement and school teachers with pay increases, to proposing penalties (up to the death penalty) for women who have abortions. All the while, they voted 'no' to lowering the state's income tax, which would allow hard-working taxpayers keeping more of their money."

When offered the opportunity to respond to some of Whetsell's comments, Magnuson declared to Blaze News, "The SC Freedom Caucus is a real threat to the power of the good ol' boys in the Columbia Swamp, so it makes sense why they would lie about us so desperately."

"Our members have consistently voted in favor of the budget sections in question, such as infrastructure, law enforcement, and teacher pay raises, and in fact have often advocated for greater funding of those areas rather than wasting taxpayer dollars on crazy pork projects. And none of us have ever advocated for the death penalty for abortion. It is the failed political establishment who is intent on spinning a misleading narrative across the state. Their concern is not for the truth but for their gravy train," Magnuson declared.

Whetsell told Blaze News that the amount of money the Palmetto Truth Project is spending "seems to grow by the day with the continued missteps and pearl-clutching of the Freedom Caucus. I provide their group with marketing advice based upon the issue[s] they are concerned about and provide them a variety of marketing options for reaching rational, reasonable, common-sense conservative voters with those messages," he noted.

Morgan, who is currently challenging incumbent U.S. Rep. William Timmons in the Republican primary in South Carolina's 4th Congressional District, said that "we need fewer Lindsey Grahams" holding office and more figures like Reps. Chip Roy and Ralph Norman. Graham is one of the state's two U.S. senators, while Roy currently represents Texas' 21st Congressional District, and Norman represents South Carolina's 5th Congressional District.

"The ruling coalition of liberal Republicans and their Democrat allies have surrendered to the woke Left and the globalist onslaught against American freedom," the South Carolina Freedom Caucus executive team said in a statement provided to Blaze News by Magnuson.

'We are exposing the RINOs and forcing them to address issues that Republican voters actually care about.'

"Under 30 years of RINO leadership, they have allowed our roads to crumble, our law enforcement to be demoralized, and our small businesses across our state to shutter their doors. They have failed to close our primaries, rid our state of DEI and CRT, or reform the backroom judicial selection process. And they continue to push crony capitalism and corporate welfare for the politically connected," the statement declared. "The SC Freedom Caucus represents the first real threat to the failed status quo. That's why you see a coordinated effort between lobbyists, special interests, and liberal leadership relentlessly attacking the only real conservative lawmakers in South Carolina."

"Our unwillingness to cave on our conservative policy positions, our refusal to sign their Soviet-style loyalty pledge to protect the good ol' boys, and our demands for roll call votes, have terrified the political club in Columbia. We are exposing the RINOs and forcing them to address issues that Republican voters actually care about," the statement noted. "The political establishment sees their gravy train evaporating that benefits entrenched legislators, their special interest friends, and woke corporations. By returning the People's House back to the People and creating solutions for conservative reform, the SC Freedom Caucus is moving our state from the most liberal red state in the country toward the beacon of conservatism that South Carolinians expect and deserve."

Blaze Media's Daniel Horowitz recently opined in a post on X, "The most important thing in SC is to reelect and expand the Freedom Caucus."

Johnson meets with Greene and Massie, who have been advocating for speakership ouster

Republican Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Thomas Massie of Kentucky, who have been advocating to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson from the speakership slot, met with him on Monday.

Johnson described it as a "lengthy, constructive meeting" and said they will meet again on Tuesday.

The threat of possible removal has been looming over Johnson's speakership since Greene filed a motion to vacate in March, but Greene indicated last week that she planned to pull the trigger on the speakership ouster bid this week.

Massie and GOP Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona both cosponsored Greene's motion to vacate in April.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), House Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-Mass.), and House Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.) said in a statement last week, "We will vote to table Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Motion to Vacate the Chair. If she invokes the motion, it will not succeed."

In comments that aired on "60 Minutes," Jeffries said, "Even though we're in the minority, we effectively have been governing as if we were in the majority because we continue to provide a majority of the votes necessary to get things done."

Massie shared the clip on social media and wrote, "Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries gloats that Democrats control the House of Representatives under Mike Johnson, yet some of my Republican colleagues want to continue business as usual for the rest of the year."

— (@)

"What we need is a new Speaker willing to use our majority to wield the power of the purse for the benefit of America. In just a few months, this Speaker has worked to give the Executive more authority and more money than even Pelosi granted. Vacate this #uniparty Speaker," Massie declared in a post that he shared on Monday morning.

Mike Lee gets poetic, hammers the 'Uniparty' with haikus

Republican Sen. Mike Lee of Utah has been riffing on the idea of the "Uniparty," the notion that Republicans and Democrats join together to advance big government objectives, much to the chagrin of conservatives.

"Conservatives: 'You're spending too much and enacting the Dems' priorities. Our voters hate it,'" Lee wrote in a post illustrating the "Uniparty" issue.

"The Uniparty™️: 'You're being mean & uncivil,'" he added.

"Conservatives: 'It's neither mean nor uncivil to note that you voted for things we promised to oppose,'" Lee wrote.

"The Uniparty™️: 'Extremists!'" he concluded his post.

Lee has even been posting haikus on the topic. A haiku involves three lines, with the first having five syllables, the second containing seven syllables, and the third having five syllables, according to britannica.com.

"Printing money fast. Uniparty's grip tightens. Americans pay," Lee tweeted, adding the hashtag, "#UnipartyHaiku."

— (@)

In a post that has been deleted, Lee had included a haiku that read, "Unitards are nuts. They steal the souls of many. Sapping our freedom."

"Unitards in bloom. Draining your hard-earned savings. The press will praise them," Lee had written in another post that has been deleted.

"After considerable reflection, I've decided that both the symbol and the 'demonym' I'll attach to The Uniparty™️ is this majestic creature—the unicorn," Lee announced. "While other options exist, none get the job done like this one. It's a symbol. It's a nickname. It's the Uniparty Unicorn™️."

— (@)

Lee posted altered versions of the two deleted haiku posts that had used the term "Unitards."

"Unicorns are nuts. They steal the souls of many. Sapping our freedom," he tweeted. "Unicorns in haste. Draining your hard-earned savings. The press will praise them," he wrote in another post.

How Speaker Mike Johnson BETRAYED Republicans — Rep. Massie SOUNDS OFF

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) has joined Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) in seeking to oust Speaker of the House Mike Johnson before the election — and Glenn Beck is wondering how it got to this point.

“I don’t understand this whole Mike Johnson thing, as speaker of the House, I don’t understand what happened to him, how we went so wrong,” Glenn says to Massie.

Massie has his reasons and lays out three times Johnson not only betrayed his own party but the American people as well.

“He did an omnibus bill that spends more than Nancy Pelosi’s omnibus bills did, and he gave the FBI a brand-new building in that omnibus bill, and he didn’t give us time to read it,” Massie explains, adding, “that was the first betrayal.”

“Second betrayal: FISA. This is the spying program that’s been used to surveil Americans without a warrant. He cast the deciding vote on whether to have warrants or not, and he voted against warrants,” Massie continues.

Lastly, Massie lays out the third betrayal, which happened when every Democrat in the house voted to send more money to Ukraine, before waving Ukrainian flags.

“I think Speaker Johnson, if capable of having shame at this point, should have been humiliated by that display as well. I put the video of that on Twitter and the sergeant at arms told me it would fine me $500 if I didn’t take it down, so I reposted it,” Massie laughs.

“Third betrayal was that Ukrainian vote,” he says. “We gave up all leverage on any border security.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene to pull trigger on motion to vacate next week, targeting Mike Johnson for ouster from speakership

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, who targeted House Speaker Mike Johnson in March by filing a motion to vacate the speakership, indicated during a press conference on Wednesday that she plans to trigger a vote on the matter next week.

In a statement issued Tuesday, House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), Democratic Whip Katherine Clark (D-Mass.), and Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.) pledged to "vote to table" the GOP congresswoman's motion to vacate, declaring, "If she invokes the motion, it will not succeed."

Greene said during the press conference on Wednesday that "Mike Johnson is giving them every thing they want."

"What we've seen here is the coming out of the uniparty," Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, who has cosponsored Greene's motion to vacate, said at the press conference. "And it will be consolidated, and it will be transparent and apparent next week to all Americans when this vote happens."

"Members have a weekend to decide whether to embrace the #Uniparty that became obvious in the U.S. House when Hakeem Jeffries and the entire Democrat leadership team announced they want to keep Mike Johnson," Massie tweeted.

When NewsNation's Blake Burman mentioned Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene to Johnson, the speaker said, "Bless her heart." The interview was recorded Tuesday night, according to The Hill.

Burman asked Johnson whether Greene is a "serious lawmaker."

Johnson replied that he does not believe Greene is "proving to be, no."

GOP Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona has also cosponsored Greene's motion to vacate.

Johnson was tapped to serve as speaker last year after prior speaker Kevin McCarthy had been ousted from the post.

House Democratic leadership pledges to vote to table motion to oust Mike Johnson from speakership

House Democratic leaders announced that if GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia moves to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) from the speakership, they will vote to table her motion.

"We will vote to table Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's Motion to Vacate the Chair. If she invokes the motion, it will not succeed," House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York, Democratic Whip Katherine Clark of Massachusetts, and Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar of California said in a statement.

Greene, who announced in March that she had filed a motion to vacate, responded to the Democratic announcement on Tuesday by indicating that she plans to force a vote on the matter.

"Mike Johnson is officially the Democrat Speaker of the House. Here is their official endorsement of his Speakership," Greene said in a tweet. "If the Democrats want to elect him Speaker (and some Republicans want to support the Democrats' chosen Speaker), I'll give them the chance to do it. I'm a big believer in recorded votes because putting Congress on record allows every American to see the truth and provides transparency to our votes. Americans deserve to see the Uniparty on full display. I'm about to give them their coming out party!"

— (@)

GOP Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Republican Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona have both cosponsored Greene's motion to vacate.

"Hakeem Jeffries vows to save Mike Johnson's Speakership. Why wouldn't he? Johnson has given the Democrats everything they want," Massie tweeted on Tuesday, adding the hashtag, "#UnipartyReveal." Massie noted in another tweet that Greene and he "will hold a press conference tomorrow at the Capitol triangle. Hakeem Jeffries endorsed Mike Johnson to remain as Speaker today. We will discuss how this affects the Motion to Vacate the #uniparty Speaker."

No, Speaker Johnson Didn’t Cave On Ukraine Funding Because Of Secret Intel Briefings

He caved because he’s weak and unprincipled and, like the rest of the GOP establishment, doesn’t care what Republican voters think.

Mike Johnson Promised To Fix The Border Before Funneling Money Overseas. He’s Doing The Opposite

The battle this ‘wartime speaker’ is ready to fight isn’t at home for his voters but nearly 5,000 miles and an ocean away.
