Screaming mom crashes Portland press conference, goes ballistic on media for ignoring blatant attack on family church service

A Portland, Oregon, mother is making headlines after she crashed a Don't Shoot PDX press conference in the Rose City and castigated the media for ignoring the recent attack on a family prayer service.

What are the details?

Jamee Anatello said that she and her family — including five children — were attending the early August prayer service at Tom McCall Park in Portland when a vast group of black-clad Antifa members showed up and began throwing flash grenades into the crowd.

One of the grenades, Anatello said, nearly struck her 8-month-old daughter in the face, the Christian Post reported.

"I've always judged the events really well," she told the outlet of the event, a church service led by controversial Canada-based Pastor Artur Pawlowski. "What's safe to take my kids to, what's not. It never once crossed my mind that this would be an event [Antifa] would show up."

The local media, Anatello said, largely ignored the attacks and zeroed in on the purported presence of the Proud Boys.

"No Proud Boys were present that day," Anatello, who is black, insisted. "No local media has taken my story. I spoke with two different stations, and they rejected it. I believe that the reason they have not taken my story is because the narrative around here is that the Proud Boys are white supremacists when they're not. And people around here just refuse to name Antifa as dangerous."

She also said that Antifa is supposed to care about the Black Lives Matter movement, but she doesn't believe that is true.

"They've been seen on video harassing and being violent toward gay people, Asians, black people, transgenders, and the media has stayed silent toward that," she insisted. "I want people to know that ... that is who they are. They are racist and ... dangerous."

The outlet reported that when Anatello learned that some media were planning to attend a press conference with purported Antifa-aligned groups such as Don't Shoot Portland and the Oregon Justice Resource Center, she decided to show up and make her voice heard.

According to the report, Anatello took over the event, proclaimed that Antifa are a huge problem in Portland and are causing massive violence across the city, and turned her sights on the news outlets, insisting that they are "part of the problem" by refusing to call out Antifa's role in the church service attack.

"Antifa black bloc are the ones who threw bombs, mortars, and pepper spray at me and my children," she revealed. “My baby girl ... was nearly hit in the face with an explosive by white people dressed up in all black attacking me and my family!"

She continued, "My black children were almost hit with bombs and mortars! My nine-year-old son was drenched in pepper gas thrown by Antifa!"

"You, you, you, and you are the problem!" she screamed, pointing to the local media. "Every single local news station denied my story."

VIDEO: Man stabbed at protest against vaccine mandates when brawls break out between Antifa and demonstrators

A man was stabbed and several all-out brawls erupted in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon during a protest against COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

Around 2 p.m., a group of several hundred people gathered near the south lawn of the City Hall in Los Angeles to voice their concerns about coronavirus vaccine mandates. The protesters against vaccine passports were holding signs calling for "medical freedom" and one that read "vaccine mandates are fascist."

Shortly thereafter, a few dozen counterprotesters showed up, some of which witnesses and police have described as members of "Antifa."

L.A.-based videographer Sean Beckner-Carmitchel was covering the protest and captured video of when several fights broke out while there were chants of "F*** Antifa!" being yelled. He noted that there were weapons and "lots of bear mace" used during the violent confrontation. Beckner-Carmitchel also said that several press members were injured.

The wild brouhaha left one demonstrator bleeding from the head. One man screamed, "Unmask them!"

Earlier in the week, a Twitter account associated with Antifa called on members to counter-protest the rally against vaccine mandates, according to Fox News.

"The same group of anti-vaxxers and fascists have been assaulting people at every location they protest from: Cedar Sinai to Harlowe to The Abbey," the flyer from the SoCal Antifa Twitter account reads. "As a community we say NO MORE! No safe space for fascists!"

Last weekend, Antifa militants attacked a group of Christians who were participating in a prayer event at a park in Portland, Oregon.

Appalling video shows Antifa militants attacking a group of Christians who were participating in a prayer event at a park in Portland, Oregon.

Outspoken Canadian pastor Artur Pawlowski organized a worship event at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park in Portland. Pawlowski has gained notoriety and a large following after he fought back against coronavirus crackdowns on in-person worship services in Canada.

Antifa allegedly targeted Christians, including children, in the park by throwing projectiles, including rotten eggs.

"Antifa just rolled in like an angry mob, started throwing flash bombs at everybody, macing everybody ... rotten eggs," a woman is heard saying on video. "They threw a flash bomb into a group of kids that were out there from four months old to like 10."

The assailants dressed in black bloc and carrying umbrellas reportedly sprayed innocent people in the face with mace, including a pastor.

Antifa members destroyed a sound system set up for the service, and reportedly threw music equipment into Willamette River. Antifa members are seen stealing a wagon belonging to the religious group.

The Antifa members sprayed red and yellow gas at the worshippers.

"All Cops are B*******, in the name of Jesus," an anti-police man was heard saying, mocking the religious service. Another Antifa member screamed, "Where is your god now?"

"Several speakers preached to the crowd of perhaps a few more than 50, while the original group dressed in black appeared to consider the confrontation a success," the Portland Tribune reported. "But soon a dozen or so counter-protesters trickled over to the memorial, leading to shouting matches."

The counter-protesters were reportedly members of the Proud Boys.

"Antifa had threatened to beat people up and do what they do — and then they showed up and did it," a member of the Proud Boys told the Portland Tribune. "The police were not even far from there and they were laughing in their vehicles and doing their thing. It's probably hard to care as an officer in a place where they take away all your funding."

The clashes between the left-wing Antifa and the right-wing Proud Boys continued outside of the park. The two groups shot paintballs and sprayed each other while a police officer watched and didn't intervene.

There were no arrests made during the squabbles, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
