Matt Walsh's Twitter account apparently hacked

The Twitter account of conservative commentator Matt Walsh of the Daily Wire was apparently hacked.

The hack was quite obvious because wildly inappropriate content was reportedly posted to the account.

According to screenshots shared by journalist Andy Ngô, one of the tweets posted to Walsh's account referred to Shapiro as "A Closeted Homosexual" who hides "Behind Being Jewish."

Another post read, "My Pronouns Are That/N****."

"My Twitter Isn't Hacked, This Is Just The Real Me Coming Out," another tweet claimed.

While the tweets have apparently been removed from the account, there is still a link on Walsh's profile that directs to a song on Spotify called "Sassy Shooters," and it appears that the banner photo on Walsh's account has been changed.

Walsh is a prominent and outspoken opponent of radical leftist gender ideology. His Daily Wire documentary "What Is a Woman?" delves into the issue, and he has also authored a children's book meant to push back against the woke ideology.

"Over the past few months, my friend @mattwalshblog has been threatened to the extent that he's had to have full-time security at his home to protect his family. Now he's been hacked. The tolerant and diverse and kind crowd are celebrating, of course," Shapiro tweeted. "They tell you who they are. Believe them," he added.

Shapiro screenshotted a few tweets, including one in which Alejandra Caraballo wrote, "Matt Walsh's account has been hacked. Couldn't have happened to a more miserable piece of s***."

"RT IF YOU THINK THAT THE HACK COULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED TO A 'NICER' GUY!" the Occupy Democrats Twitter account tweeted.

'This is just incredibly disturbing': Stu Burguiere SLAMS Canada's war on Jordan Peterson

During the pandemic, Canadian media personality and retired psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson was walloped by complaints over retweets and comments on Twitter.

In this clip from "Stu Does America," host Stu Burguiere talks with political columnist Brian Lilley about Canada's recent war on Dr. Jordan B. Peterson, which began with a retweet that challenged the Canadian government to let the country get back to life as people knew it before COVID lockdowns.

"This is just incredibly disturbing," Stu said.

Podcast Movement apologizes to Ben Shapiro after claiming that his presence at a conference caused 'harm'

Podcast Movement issued an apology on Thursday after claiming last month that conservative commentator Ben Shapiro's mere prescence at a conference had caused "harm."

"As we stated, we're continuing to evaluate our policies guiding social media & events with inclusivity, diversity & respect for all. We have to start by sincerely apologizing to Mr. Shapiro for our reaction when he visited a booth we sold his company. That wasn't right," Podcast Movement tweeted on Thursday.

Daily Wire co-founder and co-CEO Jeremy Boreing applauded Podcast Movement for issuing the mea culpa: "People rarely admit when they do wrong, particularly on the left where every cultural indicator reinforces your error. @PodcastMovement did the right thing with this apology," Boreing tweeted.

“People rarely admit when they do wrong, particularly on the left where every cultural indicator reinforces your error.

@PodcastMovement did the right thing with this apology. Dan Franks also called me to make clear their treatment of Ben was unacceptable.

Good on them.”
— Jeremy Boreing (@Jeremy Boreing) 1662679782

Last month after Shapiro showed up at the Daily Wire's booth at a Podcast Movement conference, Podcast Movement issued an eyebrow-raising apology suggesting that Shapiro's appearance at the event had inflicted "harm." The tweets have since been deleted.

"Hi folks, we owe you an apology before sessions kick off for the day. Yesterday afternoon, Ben Shapiro briefly visited the PM22 expo area near The Daily Wire booth. Though he was not registered or expected, we take full responsibility for the harm done by his presence," Podcast Movement had tweeted.

"There's no way around it: We agreed to sell The Daily Wire a first-time booth based on the company’s large presence in podcasting. The weight of that decision is now painfully clear. Shapiro is a co-founder. A drop-in, however unlikely, should have been considered a possibility," Podcast Movement continued. "Those of you who called this 'unacceptable' are right. In 9 wonderful years growing and celebrating this medium, PM has made mistakes. The pain caused by this one will always stick with us. We promise that sponsors will be more carefully considered moving forward."

Contrary to the grim picture painted by Podcast Movement's apology, video footage posted by the Daily Wire shows a smiling Ben Shapiro engaging in amicable interactions with people at the event.

“WARNING: Some viewers may find the following video of @benshapiro at @PodcastMovement disturbing. Viewer discretion is advised.”

Podcast Movement's apology to Shapiro on Thursday came after Cumulus Media earlier this week announced that it would cut ties with Podcast Movement.

"At Cumulus Media, our tenet is that Every Voice Matters and we support conferences and trade events where differing political viewpoints can be expressed and received with respect. As such, we were dismayed and disappointed by Podcast Movement's handling of the reaction to our partner, top podcaster, and conservative talk leader Ben Shapiro's mere presence at Podcast Movement. After giving the leaders of Podcast Movement sufficient time to appropriately address their misstep, we are disassociating from Podcast Movement, including canceling our 2023 sponsorship plans," Cumulus had said in a statement, according to Radio Online.

'Unadulterated bigotry': Daily Wire 'god-king' Jeremy Boreing blasts podcast conference that tried to cancel Ben Shapiro

Daily Wire co-CEO Jeremy Boreing ripped the podcasting trade association that issued a groveling apology for "harm" caused by Ben Shapiro's presence at the Podcast Movement conference in Dallas, Texas, last week, calling the response to Shapiro "unadulterated bigotry."

During a roundtable discussion on the Daily Wire's "Backstage" show Wednesday, Boering revealed the details of his private conversations with Podcast Movement's leadership, divulging that he became incensed when one of the owners claimed the public apology made after Shapiro visited the Dallas event was not "political."

Last Thursday, organizers of the Podcast Movement conference apologized profusely for permitting the Daily Wire to become a sponsor and selling the company booth space after attendees complained that Shapiro, the host of the number-one conservative podcast, was spotted near the Daily Wire's booth. Podcast movement took "full responsibility for the harm done by his presence" and said that Shapiro's presence there was "unacceptable."

Boering said Wednesday that in a private conversation with one of Podcast Movement's owners, the owner claimed Shapiro's presence violated a policy "that the talent not appear" and that other event sponsors were upset that Shapiro was there.

“He said this was not in any way political. And when he said it, I’m embarrassed about it, I just got so adrenalized and so upset,” Boreing said. “And I just started reading from the tweets … ‘The pain that will be with us forever, the harm caused by his very presence.’ You’re saying that isn’t political?”

“.@JeremyDBoreing shares details on his phone call with one of the owners of @PodcastMovement: "He said this was not in any way political... And I just started reading from the tweets... 'The pain that will be with us forever, the harm caused by his very presence.'"”
— Daily Wire (@Daily Wire) 1661991106

He said Podcast Movement's explanation didn't make any sense because podcast hosts were invited to speak on panels at the event.

"It's just nonsense. The whole fracking conference is for podcasters," Boreing said.

Though by now the Daily Wire is used to cancel culture on the left, Boreing suggested he was nevertheless caught off-guard by what he called outright "bigotry" against conservative podcasters.

“There’s no one else in the world who would be subjected to this type of bigotry, and you get away with,” Boreing said. “You could not treat a black man this way, you could not treat a lesbian woman this way, you could not treat anyone on the left in this way … but you can treat a conservative this way with unadulterated bigotry on the page.”

“.@JeremyDBoreing calls out @PodcastMovement for condemning @benshapiro for "his presence": "This is an outright act of bigotry."”
— Daily Wire (@Daily Wire) 1661990408

He said he appealed to Podcast Movement to retract the group's statement and apologize to Shapiro, but his pleas were ignored.

“We will not allow Podcast Movement to continue to present itself as a neutral place. If you’re a conservative podcaster, they don’t want you there … they don’t care to defend you,” Boreing said. “They want to make money off of your success while your political foes try to destroy you, and then they will watch you die.”

Podcast Movement did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Antifa, radical leftists try to shut down 'straight pride' event. But cops in riot gear fire pepper-spray bullets at enraged, retreating counter-protesters.

Antifa and radical leftists descended upon a "straight pride" event in Modesto, California, over the weekend in an attempt to shut it down — but cops in riot gear also showed up and reportedly fired pepper-spray bullets and beanbags at the enraged counter-protesters who were forced to retreat from their "unlawful assembly."

Here's a video montage showing in part what went down:

“I would love to see what @benshapiro or @MattWalshBlog would say about the far left at the straight pride parade outside planned parenthood in Modesto. As a conservative, it doesn’t surprise me that the left use violence despite being against violence.”

What are the details?

Interestingly, police estimated the straight pride crowd at “30-ish” people and their opponents at 125 to 150, according to the Modesto Bee.

No surprise as local Antifa got itself into a lather, gleefully tweeting about how to "shut down straight pride!" prior to the event:

“🌈 It's almost time! 📢 Here's more info on how to counter "Straight Pride," the upcoming homophobic, anti-abortion hate rally in Modesto. 🤮 Let's get ready to drown them out and shut them down! ✊🏻✊🏽✊🏿 No tolerance for hate and bigotry - we'll see you in the streets.🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈”

It was the fourth consecutive year that straight pride demonstrators gathered in front of the Planned Parenthood building on McHenry Avenue, the Bee said — adding that like last year, violence broke out.

In fact, the paper said things got physical nearly two hours before the event, which was scheduled for noon Saturday.

The Bee reported that a scuffle broke out when a Proud Boy tried pushing past police, citing a straight pride supporter named Richard who didn't identify as a Proud Boy. Counter-protesters threw water bottles in retaliation, the Bee said, adding that a blast and fireworks went off.

Modesto Police Department spokeswoman Sharon Bear told the paper a smoke bomb caused a bush to catch fire, leading cops to declare the event an unlawful gathering.

More than 25 officers in tactical gear soon arrived, the Bee said:

Police fired pepper-spray bullets at counter-protesters, reportedly injuring at least two people, the paper said, adding that cops also used beanbag guns, which looked like orange shotguns:

— Tony (@Tony) 1661632669

Three people were arrested as of Saturday afternoon for “failure to disperse,” Bear told the Bee, adding that two were aligned with straight pride and one was a counter-protester.

None of the arrestees are local to Stanislaus County, the paper added.

“They came at us with batons, they jabbed us, they hit the crap out of out us,” according to one counter-protester who got nailed by a pepper-spray bullet, declining to give his name to the Bee and continuing to wheeze even after volunteers flushed his eyes with water.

The presence of Modesto police and Stanislaus County sheriff’s personnel grew, the paper said, adding that officers formed a line and pushed counter-protesters back, while the police force's armadillo — a black SWAT-style truck equipped with cameras — pulled up.

Straight pride supporters moved behind the police line and stood in a Wendy’s parking lot, the Bee reported, adding that one nearby person was loaded into an ambulance.

'We have to deal with the cops attacking us'

Naomi Bingham Walker and Odette Zapata arrived from Sacramento in the morning as part of a caravan of supporters of LGBTQ and women’s issues, the paper said, adding that Bingham Walker — a queer black woman — said she wanted to fight against “the increase in white supremacy and hatred in our country.”

Zapata — wearing a bulletproof vest — added to the Bee that "we have two armies to go up against when we stand for our rights: We have to deal with the cops attacking us and we’re about to get a second wave of right-wing extremists. We’re fearful of them attacking us as well.”

The straight pride supporter named Richard confronted police, the paper said, yelling at cops to "remember me" and "see what the repercussions were when they protected Antifa."

Richard also displayed a flyer for the straight pride event, the Bee reported, which called it a celebration of heterosexuality, masculinity, femininity, babies born and unborn, Western civilization, Christianity, and “our wonderful country."

Major podcast conference apologizes for 'harm' caused by Ben Shapiro existing in statement that must be seen to be believed

Organizers of a podcast conference in Dallas, Texas, drew backlash Thursday after they took responsibility for "harm" caused by Daily Wire podcast host Ben Shapiro's presence at the conference.

Podcast Movement, a major annual conference for the podcast industry, issued a profuse apology on Thursday after attendees complained that Shapiro was spotted at the event near the Daily Wire booth. The Daily Wire sponsored this year's conference and Shapiro, host of the massively successful "The Ben Shapiro Show" podcast, was seen pictured walking around the expo area.

“Hey @PodcastMovement what the fuck”— Tal @ PodMov (@Tal @ PodMov) 1661372719

"As a trans person, as a queer person, as someone with a uterus, this does not make me feel welcome. This does not make me feel safe," one of the conference attendees posted on Twitter after sharing a picture of Shapiro standing by the Daily Wire booth.

In response to the complaints received, Podcast Movement issued several tweets Thursday apologizing that Shapiro was permitted to attend the event.

"Hi folks, we owe you an apology before sessions kick off for the day. Yesterday afternoon, Ben Shapiro briefly visited the PM22 expo area near The Daily Wire booth. Though he was not registered or expected, we take full responsibility for the harm done by his presence," Podcast Movement said.

"There’s no way around it: We agreed to sell The Daily Wire a first-time booth based on the company’s large presence in podcasting. The weight of that decision is now painfully clear. Shapiro is a co-founder. A drop-in, however unlikely, should have been considered a possibility.

"Those of you who called this 'unacceptable' are right," the conference organizers continued. "In 9 wonderful years growing and celebrating this medium, PM has made mistakes. The pain caused by this one will always stick with us. We promise that sponsors will be more carefully considered moving forward."

"Just to clarify, no TDW representatives were scheduled to appear on panels, and Shapiro remained in the common space and did not have a badge. If you have questions, we’re here to talk. Thank you for reading, and we hope you’ll continue to join us from here on out," Podcast movement added.

The apology and the statement that Shapiro inflicted "harm" by merely existing in the same space as those who disagree with his politics drew backlash from conservatives and other content creators. Shapiro himself mocked Podcast Movement and retweeted many of the replies from people floored by the absurdity of the situation.

"Literally shaking rn. Podcast Movement is threatening my right to exist. This is erasure," Shapiro tweeted.

"You sound like *completely insane people*. What in the world is wrong with you?" writer Molly Hemingway tweeted. "Is this a joke? You couldn't tolerate *BEN* *FREAKING* *SHAPIRO*? Are you a child? An anti-semite? An anti-semitic child? How do you function in society if you can't tolerate BEN SHAPIRO?"

"We believe the problem was contained to the common space, but, full disclosure, we cannot rule out the possibility, however slight, that trace amounts of Shapiro made their way into the building's HVAC system," writer Jesse Singal said.

"The fact that this sentence — 'The pain caused by this one will always stick with us' — is referring to a human being, @benshapiro , merely being present at a conference while also being conservative shows just how broken our culture is," observed Faithwire News writer Tré Goins-Phillips.

"Imagine putting on a podcast expo and learning one of the most successful podcasters on the planet in @benshapiro has showed up. Normal, sane professionals would be THRILLED. These guys cowered to the fragile feelings of leftists who hate Shapiro," CBN News managing editor Dan Andros said. "Pathetic."

"You probably just destroyed your entire business @PodcastMovement . Everyone should demand a refund and cancel any tickets they purchased to future events. #PodcastBowelMovement," said YouTuber Viva Frei.

Podcast Movement was reached for comment, but did not respond. TheBlaze also contacted several sponsors of the event who have relationships with the Daily Wire and support "The Ben Shapiro Show" but did not receive responses before publication.

Twitter reverses course after censoring conservative commentator Allie Beth Stuckey: 'It appears we made an error'

Twitter reversed course after it slapped down Allie Beth Stuckey, host of BlazeTV's "Relatable," for supposedly violating the company's rules prohibiting "hateful conduct."

"Our support team has reviewed your account and it appears we made an error. We've determined there was no violation and have restored your account to full functionality," Twitter said, according to a screenshot that Stuckey posted. "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate you taking the time to submit your appeals request to us."

Twitter had locked the account in response to a tweet in which Stuckey commented about Fox News airing a pro-transgender puff piece about a biological girl living as a boy.

"I’m stunned that Fox News ran a segment celebrating a girl whose parents 'transitioned' her into a boy when she was 5 because she apparently told them she was a boy 'before [she] could talk.' Absolutely maddening & heartbreaking," Stuckey wrote in the tweet.

During the package, Fox News reporter Bryan Llenas said in a voice over that, "Before Ryland could even speak, he managed to tell his parents that he is a boy."

"What extraordinary courage displayed by Ryland, his sister Brynley, father Jeff, and mom Hillary," Llenas said after the end of the package. "People are afraid of what they do not understand, Dana. This family hopes their story will lead to more understanding, more acceptance, and ultimately more love."

Twitter has a history of taking action against accounts that challenge the dogmas of radical leftist gender ideology.

"Another 'error' but only after a bunch of high profile accounts agitated on your behalf. Funny how many 'errors' twitter makes in the one direction," Rita Panahi tweeted regarding Twitter's reversal.

'Morning Joe' says Congress needs to stop Ben Shapiro from DOMINATING the NYT and CNN

Former Obama adviser Dan Pfeiffer joined Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe" this week to complain about the unfair and even dangerous "right-wing media advantage," and to call on Congress to step in to "regulate" algorithms and increase censorship of popular right-wing sites.

Pfeiffer accused right-wing media of being a "very well-funded, aggressive operation" that spreads "incredibly dangerous" disinformation and lies "for profits and political gain."

"Why can't we pass basic regulations to make these companies be more transparent about the algorithms that spread the lies on everything from COVID to January the sixth?" Scarborough asked.

Pfeiffer said Congress "absolutely should" pass regulations, but that social media companies are "exploiting loopholes in the law to deeply damage America."

“If you go to Facebook on a daily basis, the posts with the most engagement are from Ben Shapiro, Dan Bongino, and Candace Owens," he said. "It is right-wing media content. It dwarfs progressive content. It dwarfs mainstream media content — which is actually, should be the part that should scare us the most, that Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire has more followers and engagement — many times more — than the New York Times or CNN. That is a problem for democracy."

— Daily Wire (@Daily Wire) 1654530212

"The problem around this is getting worse every single day," Pfeiffer continued. "The media, the right-wing media advantage, this disinformation propaganda operation is so much more powerful now than when I worked in the White House."

"It's getting bigger. It's flourishing. Mys-tastasizing," Brzezinski slurred.

"Metastasizing," Pfeiffer corrected. "Yes, cancer, that is a perfect metaphor for what we are dealing with, and it is, I think, what we have to do is radically rethink how we communicate ... and then the social media companies have an obligation to do more. We can't rely on them to do it on their own and so this is where Congress and regulators have to step in to think about how we regulate these algorithms that are pushing this disinformation for profit."

On "The Rubin Report” Wednesday, BlazeTV host Dave Rubin shared clips from the "Morning Joe" interview, as well as videos of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, New York Governor Kathy Hochul, and former President Barack Obama all calling for more government regulations to tackle whatever they deem as "dangerous misinformation."

Despite mask mandate ruling Roland Martin declares that he is 'double masked and wearing goggles' for his flight

After U.S. District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle issued a decision on Monday that slapped down a federal mandate that required people to wear face masks on public transportation, Roland Martin posted a photo of himself "double masked" for a flight on Tuesday.

"I don’t give a damn what some grossly unqualified Donald Trump judge said, I’m double masked and wearing goggles on this Nashville to DC flight. I had COVID in December. Y’all can KISS MY ASS about me not wanting it again. And any fool saying they don’t matter is a damn liar," Martin declared, while sharing a photo of himself on the plane.

Ben Shapiro responded to Martin's tweet by remarking, "You, sir, are a hero."

Martin replied, "And you @benshapiro are a fool."

In another tweet Martin wrote, "Y’all notice folks like @benshapiro @majtoure @mattmurphyshow and their childish, ignorant followers have forgotten all of those conservative radio talk show hosts who died of COVID. Feel free killing each other off with your stupidity surrounding COVID."

BlazeTV host Steve Deace of "The Steve Deace Show" retweeted Roland's post and wrote, "Pictured: what’s happened to American manhood."

In one of several tweets in a thread, Martin fired back, "You right wing #MAGA idiots are stupid, and so are the fools who listen to you. You punks claim to be pro-life, but tell me about those conservative talkers dead due to COVID?"

Shall we go on @SteveDeaceShow? You right wing #MAGA idiots are stupid, and so are the fools who listen to you. You punks claim to be pro-life, but tell me about those conservative talkers dead due to COVID? @hermancain? Add him to the conservative talker dead of COVID list 2/5

In replies to various comments on his post, Martin noted that he was wearing an N95 mask underneath of his other mask.

Some people highlighted a photo that showed Martin and another individual posing together maskless, but Martin fired back.

"Two people who know each other and no one in 10 feet of us. And masks back on after the photo. Y’all are idiots," he wrote in one tweet. "Yep. Two people who are fully vaxxed, who know each other, standing next to each other and no one around us. Dumb ass," he wrote in another tweet.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has asked the Department of Justice to appeal the court ruling regarding the mask mandate.

"To protect CDC’s public health authority beyond the ongoing assessment announced last week, CDC has asked DOJ to proceed with an appeal in Health Freedom Defense Fund, Inc., et al., v. Biden, et al," the agency said in a statement on Wednesday. "It is CDC’s continuing assessment that at this time an order requiring masking in the indoor transportation corridor remains necessary for the public health. CDC will continue to monitor public health conditions to determine whether such an order remains necessary. CDC believes this is a lawful order, well within CDC’s legal authority to protect public health."
