THESE polls will tell you exactly how Americans feel about Joe Biden

The Biden backlash is beginning.

In a recent CNN poll, Biden job ratings have tanked and concerns about his age have risen as he gears up for 2024.

A majority of Americans also believe that when Joe Biden was vice president, he was involved with his son’s business dealings.

“Now, you might say, well, of course he was, and you’d be right,” Stu Burguiere says. “But thinking about the American people, the fact that they’re aware of this is positive, this is a good thing.”

According to the CNN poll, Joe Biden’s approval rating stands at just 39%; 58% believe that his policies have made economic conditions in the U.S. worse, which is up eight points since last fall. And 70% of Americans say things in the country are going badly; 51% say that the government should be doing more to solve the nation’s problems.

Stu doesn’t agree with the last stat, saying it’s “not the American spirit in action.”

“We should not be begging for the government to step in and solve all of our problems; they usually make things worse. All the things that we complain about today are, at some level, problems that government has created or just made worse. So let’s not cheer that on, please,” he adds.

Perceptions of Biden himself have also turned drastically negative: 58% of Americans have an unfavorable impression of him, 45% believe that he cares about people like them, and only 33% describe him as someone they’d be proud of having as president.

Only 28% of Americans say that Biden inspires confidence, which Stu calls a “catastrophic number,” and only 26% believe that he has the stamina and sharpness to serve effectively as president. And 73% of Americans say they’re concerned that Biden’s age may negatively affect his current level of physical and mental competence.

“His level of physical and mental competence is already incredibly low; he can’t do anything. And people are concerned it’s gonna get worse,” Stu says.

'Morning Joe' says OPEC 'spit in Biden's face' on oil and it's going to hurt Democrats in midterms

The "Morning Joe" crew characterized a decision by OPEC as spitting in the face of President Joe Biden and said it would be damaging to the Democrats in the midterm elections.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries announced Wednesday that it would be drastically decreasing the output of oil despite Biden's campaign to call on them to increase production in order to lower gas prices.

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough and his guest Steve Rattner discussed how the decision might affect the upcoming election.

"You look at the timing of this, one month before an election. You look at the fact that Joe Biden caught a lot of grief for going over and visiting the Saudi leader, a guy, of course, accused of murdering a Washington Post columnist, a Virginia resident, and this is what he gets a month before the election," said Scarborough.

"This is what he gets when Vladimir Putin is on his back heels. What's your thought about Biden’s overtures in Saudi Arabia, and how basically, Biden's, he just spit in Biden’s face?" he asked.

"In general, in terms of how they try to manage oil, they do it based on their interests and trying to maximize the long-term value of oil and make sure current prices aren’t too low," Rattner explained.

"They had absolutely no interest in accommodating anything Biden was trying to do," he added. "They did what they thought they needed to do for themselves and for the other members of OPEC."

When asked what Democrats could do before the election to ease gas prices, Rattner was not optimistic.

"So the unfortunate news for the White House is there really isn’t much else they can do between now and the election," he answered, adding that it is "not great" for Democrats.

Biden responded to the snub from OPEC by announcing another release from the country's Strategic National Reserves of oil in hopes of easing price pressure.

Ron DeSantis unloads on Biden over gas prices: He 'declared WAR on American energy'

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) ripped into President Joe Biden over record-high gas prices, which the administration first blamed on supply disruptions from the COVID pandemic, then Russian President Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine, and, most recently, oil refineries in the United States.

Not only does the president not have any "proactive solutions" for skyrocketing gas prices, but his policies are the "cause of a lot of it," DeSantis said on "Fox & Friends."

"Joe Biden came into office and declared war on American energy. We were energy independent for the first time in my life. When he came into office, he had sweeping executive orders to try to kneecap American energy production," DeSantis began.

"This is a global market, it's not just the U.S., but [Biden] has made it way worse here in this country," he continued. "They will not reverse course. This is just a religion for them to be attacking energy production in the United States, and people are paying at the pump like never before. It's hammering blue-collar people, working people because ... it impacts everything in the economy."

"There's also the fact that they printed trillions of dollars that we didn't have," DeSantis added. "Those two factors have created a really a hellish scenario and now we're on the precipice of — if we're not already in — a formal recession. Maybe that won't happen, but I think everyone's looking at it and saying, 'under Biden, with his policies, he's going to plunge this country into a recession."

On a recent episode of "The Rubin Report,” BlazeTV host Dave Rubin predicted that DeSantis' "political sanity and rationality" would be a "gold mine" for conservatives in the upcoming midterm elections.

"Republicans [could] really turn this thing around, and that's why I'm feeling good about the world right now," Dave said. "Opportunity is right in front of us, but we have to grab it."

Here's why oil companies REALLY aren't producing more gas

The Biden administration has been accusing oil producers of refusing to expand operations to help offset skyrocketing gas prices. On Wednesday, President Joe Biden even wrote a letter to seven major U.S. oil refiners, essentially saying that the administration is prepared to use emergency orders to force companies into compliance if their "greed" just doesn't stop.

"Your companies need to work with my Administration to bring forward concrete, near-term solutions that address the crisis,” Biden wrote. The letter went on to accuse refineries of capitalizing on the war between Russia and Ukraine, gleaning record-high profits while Americans suffer record-high pain at the pump.

But no matter how he tries to convince you otherwise, President Joe Biden isn't trying to bring down gas prices. In fact, he's doing just the opposite, Glenn Beck said on the radio program Thursday.

"Why aren't the oil companies putting more oil out? Well, they're a couple of reasons. And none of those have to do with Joe Biden. None of them, even though it was Joe Biden that said, when he was running [for president] that he was going to put oil out of business."

Glenn first played a clip of then-candidate Biden saying, "No more drilling on federal lands. No more drilling including offshore. No ability for the oil industry to continue to drill, period."

The next clip had White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre shifting the blame for high gas prices from Russia's war with Ukraine to U.S. oil refineries.

"We want you to act. It's time to act," Jean-Pierre said, addressing U.S. oil companies. "We have done our part, with the strategic oil reserve. We are calling on them to do the right thing, to be patriots here. And to not use the war as an excuse or as a reason to not put -- to not put out a production, to not do the capacity that is needed there."

A third clip showed Biden’s climate envoy John Kerry saying in no uncertain terms that the U.S. “absolutely" does not need to drill for more oil and gas, during a talk with the USC Center for Public Diplomacy

The Biden administration has made it clear that insanely high gas prices are all part of the plan to eliminate fossil fuels. But the problem doesn't stop there. The ESG war against oil industries is being waged across the world.

Glenn read an op-ed from Vivek Ramaswamy that explains how BlackRock is manipulating corporations like Exxon to decrease oil production, while Americans continue to suffer majorly at the pump.

Did Biden just let slip that record-high gas prices were PLANNED?

President Joe Biden on Monday appeared to praise record-high gas prices, saying it's all part of an “incredible transition” that will make America and the world better off.

“When it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over,” Biden explained during a joint press conference with Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in Tokyo.

Especially with a $7.25 federal minimum wage, the calls to just buy an electric vehicle as the solution to current gas price gouging comes across as so smug, out of touch and cruel.

And no, demanding they suffer most for this transition isn't a winning policy.

Glenn Beck has long been warning that progressive policies and regulations intended to cripple the fossil fuel industry would lead to skyrocketing oil and gas prices — and it's all by design. Back in 2008, President Barack Obama all but admitted as much when he said energy costs would "necessarily skyrocket” under his cap-and-trade plan.

On a recent episode of BlazeTV's "Glenn Beck Program," Glenn explained why he believes the current oil and gas catastrophe is all "part of the plan," as leftists continue to push their radical ESG agenda.

Ted Cruz hammers Biden for claiming the Russian invasion is solely to blame for high gas prices: 'This is a flat-out lie'

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) ripped into President Joe Biden (D) for attempting to pin all of the blame on higher gas prices on the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Cruz was referring to comments from Biden to reporters on Tuesday saying that gas prices would get worse, but he was powerless to do anything about it.

"They're going to go up," said Biden about gas prices.

"Can't do much right now. Russia's responsible," he added.

Cruz took to Twitter to refute the claim from the president.

"This is a flat-out lie. Gas prices have increased 48% under Biden—BEFORE RUSSIA INVADED UKRAINE. Biden did that," Cruz tweeted.

This is a flat-out lie.

Gas prices have increased 48% under Biden—BEFORE RUSSIA INVADED UKRAINE.

Biden did that.

That’s bc Biden:

- killed Keystone pipeline.
- froze federal leases.
- shut down ANWR

All, while Biden waived sanctions on Putin’s pipeline.https://twitter.com/mj_lee/status/1501299210469191694 …
— Ted Cruz (@Ted Cruz) 1646775936

He went on to list the policies that Biden pursued which have led to higher gas prices prior to the Russian invasion, including his opposition to the Keystone pipeline, freezing federal oil leases, and shutting down drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

Cruz explained his criticism in a guest appearance on CNBC Tuesday morning where he hammered away at Biden's energy policies.

"It really is striking, in 2019 the United States became a net energy exporter, we are an oil and gas superpower, and yet under Joe Biden last year, for the first time since then America stopped being a net energy exporter, as our production went down," Cruz said.

"And the result of Biden's presidency has been that the enemies of America, countries like Russia, like Iran, like Venezuela are all getting stronger, getting richer, getting more aggressive, getting more hostile," he continued, "because the president is simultaneously weakening our own ability to produce energy and strengthening their ability to produce energy."

NBC reported that the shift in messaging was purposeful by the White House after taking the blame for gas prices and increasing inflation before the invasion.

Here's Cruz ripping into Biden on CNBC:

Biden is getting torched on social media for begging dictators to produce more oil after criticizing US oil production

President Joe Biden is seeking to solve the oil crisis in the U.S. by begging foreign dictators and despots to increase their territories'' oil production and many on social media are torching him for it.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Monday that they would not be seeking to increase domestic oil production and instead insisted that the crisis meant they should depend more on renewable sources.

“It’s a reminder that real energy security comes from reducing our dependence on fossil fuels,” Psaki claimed. “The only way to protect U.S. over the long term is to become energy independent."

Oil prices have been skyrocketing since Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Many in the U.S. are calling for the Biden administration to stop all oil imports from Russia while it continues to attack Ukrainian sovereignty.

Republicans and other critics of the administration criticized him on social media for seeking increased production from questionable foreign sources while seeking to shut down domestic producers of oil.

"It is wrong for the Biden Administration to beg for oil from Venezuela & legitimize Maduro’s communist regime during an official visit. The U.S. should hold Maduro accountable while increasing domestic energy production so we won’t need to rely on hostile regimes for energy," responded Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).

"Apparently Biden thinks producing more of our own oil in America is bad for the climate but somehow producing more oil in #Venezuela is not," tweeted Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.).

"Gas is up 13% in just the past week. What will it take for Joe Biden to increase oil production in America?" replied Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.).

"Gas wouldn’t be this expensive if Joe Biden opened up America’s oil pipelines," tweeted Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio). "Anyone telling you otherwise is lying."

"Biden should be turning to AMERICAN energy producers for more oil and gas—not dictators in Venezuela, Iran, and Saudi Arabia," tweeted Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.).

"Joe Biden would rather get oil from socialists in Venezuela than from American workers in Texas," added Rep. Lance Gooden (R-Texas.)

"At this point, the Biden administration is actively considering incentivizing both Iranian oil and Venezuelan oil, but has thus far shown no interest in incentivizing *checks notes* American oil. Up is down. Down is up," said Newsweek opinion editor Josh Hammer.

While the administration is now blaming oil companies for the high price of gas and claiming their policies have not reduced production, Biden previously said that it would be necessary to transition away from fossil fuels and towards renewable energy.

Also on Monday, the stock market continued to collapse over fears due to inflation and the continuing invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

Biden claims his global warming policies aren't to blame for price of gas skyrocketing

President Joe Biden claimed that his policies meant to fight global warming weren't the cause of skyrocketing price of gas at the pumps.

Biden made these dubious claims during a speech at the White House on Tuesday where he announced that he would order the Department of Energy to release 50 million gallons of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to ease gas prices.

He went on to blame oil companies and claim that his environmental policies had no effect on gas prices.

"I also want to address one myth about inflated gas prices. They're not due to environmental measures," he claimed.

"My effort to combat climate change is not raising the price of gas," he said, "or [increasing] its availability."

The national average for gas prices is up 7.5 cents over the last month, but $1.08 over the last year. Critics of Biden have pointed to comments he made targeting fossil fuel companies and saying that he would drive them out of business.

Biden also tried to reassure Americans about the cost of food rising ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.

"Moms and dads are worried, asking will there be enough food we can afford to buy for the holidays, will we be able to get Christmas presents to the kids on time and if so, will they cost me an arm and a leg," Biden said.

"All these concerns a few weeks ago, there would not be ample food available for Thanksgiving, so many people talked about that, understandably," he added. "But families can rest easy. Grocery stores are well-stocked with turkey and everything else you need for Thanksgiving and the major retailers I mentioned have confirmed that their shelves will be well-stocked in stores this holiday season."

Inflation has also been worsened by a supply chain crisis that has crippled shipments from across the world. Economists say that restrictions against automation put in place by unions are partly to blame for the economic debacle.
