Joe Biden takes a big fall during Air Force graduation ceremony

Democratic President Joe Biden took a calamitous fall during the graduation ceremony for the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Biden shook the hand of each one of the 921 cadets graduating on Thursday, but he fell to his knees after walking away from the final cadet. He was helped back onto his feet, and he appeared to point to something on the ground afterward.

Ben LaBolt, the White House communications director, said that Biden was fine and that he had tripped over a sandbag that was on the stage.

The fall will no doubt raise questions about Biden's advanced age and his ability to fulfill the responsibilities of the Oval Office. The president is 80 years old and will be 82 years old on inauguration day if he's re-elected to a second term.

Even some Biden allies like Hillary Clinton have publicly admitted that concerns over Biden's health were legitimate.

"It's a concern for anyone. We've had presidents who had fallen before who were a lot younger, and people didn't go into heart palpitations," Clinton said in May. "But his age is an issue, and people have every right to consider it."

Biden himself addressed the concerns but laughed them off with jokes.

“The only thing I bring to this career after my age — as you can see how old I am — but is a little bit of wisdom,” told a crowd of supporters in May.

“I come to the job with more experience than any president in American history," he added. "It doesn’t make me better or worse, but it gives me few excuses.”

Podcaster Joe Rogan opined that the Democrats' only hope to win the presidency again in 2024 would be if Biden died and someone else took the reins from him for the nomination.

White House mops up another Biden gaffe after the president says he has cancer during speech

The White House rushed out to mop up another gaffe from President Joe Biden after he claimed during a speech Wednesday that he has cancer.

Biden was speaking in Massachusetts to announce $2.3 billion in new funding to combat global warming when he added the startling admission.

"Guess what? The first frost, you know what was happening? You had to put on your windshield wipers to get literallytheoil slickoffthe window," he said, referring to air pollution during his childhood.

"That's why I and so damn many other people I grew up [with] have cancer," Biden added. "For the longest time, Delaware had the highest cancer rate in the nation, but that's the past."

The odd remark led many on social media to conjecture whether Biden had accidentally revealed a new cancer diagnosis, but others defended the president and said he was simply referring to previously reported health issues.

The White House chimed in to reiterate that Biden was not confirming a new diagnosis but that he was merely referring to previous bouts of skin cancer, which have since been removed.

Biden announced several executive orders to combat global warming during the speech, but he backed off from declaring a national climate change emergency, as many believed he might.

"This is an emergency, and an emergency, and I will look at it that way," Biden said.

"I said last week, say it again, loud and clear," he added. "As president, I'll use my executive powers to combat climate change, the climate crisis, in the absence of congressional action."

A recent poll found that a large majority of Democrats do not want Biden to run for the presidency again in 2024. Among the top concerns for them are his age and his job performance.
