Biden is DEPORTING a law-abiding, Christian family despite leaving the borders WIDE OPEN for illegal aliens

A Christian family from Germany who fought for asylum to homeschool their kids in the United States is now facing deportation, even though they have been living in Tennessee for 15 years.

The Romeikes pulled their kids from Germany’s public school system over concerns that it was indoctrinating their children and attacking family values. Germany has strict education laws, which effectively ban homeschooling.

In 2014, the Obama administration’s Department of Homeland Security granted “deferred action” status to seven members of the family, but the government is now going after them.

Without any explanation, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer told the family they had four weeks to apply for German passports ahead of their deportation.

Glenn Beck is disturbed that the Biden administration is going after a law-abiding, Christian family while keeping the border wide open to illegal immigrants.

“With the hundreds of thousands that are coming across our border every month illegally, and the left says it’s all about asylum and persecution: This case IS,” he says, before being joined by the persecuted father, Uwe Romeike, and his attorney, Kevin Boden.

Romeike tells Glenn that if they are forced back to Germany, they would face losing custody of their children, fines, and possible jail time.

He goes on to explain that what his children were being taught in school “was diametrically against what we as Christians believed, so there were so many reasons we didn’t want them to go there again.”

Even the two eldest Romeike children, who are both adults who married Americans, are facing deportation.

“They applied for citizenship, but the paperwork hasn’t gone through yet,” Romeike tells Glenn, “so they are now all included in the deportation order.”

“I am so disgusted by this. This is truly a family that needs asylum. They don’t have the First Amendment in Germany. We have it here to protect people. This is what it means to bring in those who are persecuted, not the hundreds of thousands of young men without families coming across our border in the middle of night,” Glenn says.

“This is one I will go and camp outside of their house and surround their house with like-minded, loving Christian people who will just not break arms on our knees. We just go and kneel around their house in droves and we lock arms and we just pray for this family.”

Biden officially ends Trump’s 'remain in Mexico' policy on asylum seekers

President Joe Biden's administration officially ended the controversial "remain in Mexico" policy that former President Donald Trump implemented in respect to migrants seeking asylum in the U.S.

A U.S. Department of Homeland Security memo issued on Tuesday shut down the policy, technically known as Migrant Protection Protocols, after Biden had issued an executive order on Feb. 2 to have it reviewed for termination.

The MPP forced those seeking asylum to wait in Mexico instead of allowing them into the U.S. to await their documents to be processed.

Critics of the Biden administration have blamed his roll back of Trump immigration policies for the crisis at the border as an increasing number of migrants try to cross over. Border apprehensions during the first three month's of Biden's presidency exceeded that of the entire year before his presidency.

In response, Biden put Vice President Kamala Harris in charge of stemming the flow of migrants crossing from Mexico, saying, that he could think of "nobody who is better qualified to do this."

The memo from DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Tuesday claimed that the policy was ineffective because of the increase of arrests at the border.

"Moreover, in making my assessment, I share the belief that we can only manage migration in an effective, responsible, and durable manner if we approach the issue comprehensively, looking well beyond our own borders," Mayorkas added.

An analysis from DHS in Nov. 2019 found that the MPP had been successful in returning thousands of asylum seekers to their home countries.

In March, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador warned his citizens that they should not believe the deceptive messaging from human traffickers telling them that Biden would regularize any immigrant illegally in the United States.

Biden admin issues new guidelines on deportations and illegal alien advocates are outraged

The Biden administration issued new guidance on deportation policy on Thursday and advocates for illegal aliens were outraged that it did not simply end all deportations.

Biden had promised that there would be no deportations under his administration for the first hundred days, but in January a federal judge in Texas blocked the action with a temporary restraining order.

The new guidelines sent to Immigration and Customs Enforcement narrowed the scope of convictions that would allow for deportation based on a person being a public safety threat. They will be in place for 90 days while long-term guidelines are developed.

Deportations can also be implemented for persons considered a terrorism or espionage threat.

"By focusing our limited resources on cases that present threats to national security, border security, and public safety, our agency will more ably and effectively execute its law enforcement mission," said ICE Acting Director Tae Johnson.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) bristled at an additional provision that allowed for the deportation of anyone who entered into the United States illegally after Nov. 1.

"The memo is a disappointing step backward from the Biden administration's earlier commitments to fully break from the harmful deportation policies of both the Trump and Obama presidencies," said ACLU attorney Naureen Shah.

"While the Biden administration rightly acknowledges that immigrants are our family members, our coworkers, and our neighbors, for now it has chosen to continue giving ICE officers significant discretion to conduct operations that harm our communities and tear families apart," Shah added.

Biden has promised to provide a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens, which could number from 11 million to 22 million by some estimates. His plan would also extend legal protections that were offered to recipients of DACA, called the "Dream Act" by some, under former President Barack Obama.

On Wednesday the Biden administration instructed Department of Homeland Security officials to stop using the phrase "illegal aliens" and refer to "undocumented noncitizens," or "undocumented individuals" instead.
