Did this N.Y. congressman just suggest Trump needs to be assassinated?

MSNBC, which Dave Rubin calls “a televised mental institution,” just invited New York congressman Dan Goldman on Jen Psaki’s show to discuss Donald Trump and the 2024 election.

Dave plays the clip of Psaki asking Goldman his thoughts on Trump’s indictment and upcoming trial for the events that transpired on January 6.

“He knows that the people who were there are his supporters who he riled up and incited to invade and riot at the Capitol and try to disrupt the proper counting of the electoral college votes,” Goldman said.

“His rhetoric is really getting dangerous — more and more dangerous — and we saw what happened on January 6 when he used inflammatory rhetoric ... and his recent social posts are incredibly, incredibly scary for anyone that might be trying to work in government. It is just unquestionable at this point that that man cannot see public office again. He is not only unfit, he is destructive to our democracy, and he has to be eliminated,” he continued, while Psaki nodded along complacently.

“Did he say that the former president of the United States has to be eliminated?” asks Dave. “That seems a bit over the top.”

“The same man, who just 20 seconds before that, said ...Trump’s rhetoric is getting more and more dangerous, called for Donald Trump to be eliminated on MSNBC — on a show hosted by the former press secretary for the current president,” he sighs, pointing out the clear irony.

“Try to imagine if on Fox News last night, there was a congressman — a Republican congressman — who said that Joe Biden had to be eliminated. Do you think there would be a bit of an uproar today?”

Even NBC host realizes how much worse it just got for Biden

Joe Biden will be 82 in 2024, but that’s not stopping him from running for re-election.

Biden supplemented his announcement with a promotional video in which he declared that we were “in a battle for the soul of America” four years ago when he decided to run — and “still are.”

Dave Rubin doesn’t find his video very inspiring.

“Joe Biden has some form of dementia or some other cognitive problem,” he says, before saying that he is “basically the perfect vessel for all these ridiculous woke ideas.”

Rubin continues, saying, “He is just a sort of brainless swamp creature zombie” who “reads whatever they want him to read” and “often poorly mumbles and stumbles.”

However, most Americans do not want Biden to run for re-election. And even Chuck Todd of NBC is admitting it.

Todd says that “53% of 2020 Biden voters say he shouldn’t run; 64% of Democrats who voted for Sanders” in 2020 also believe he shouldn’t run.

But that’s not all, as Todd has more.

“76% of voters under 35 think he shouldn’t run,” and the reason is “almost all about his age and his ability to do the job.”

Rubin believes that “the idea that Joe Biden is going to lead us to the other side” of the revolution we’ve seen over the past 20 years of technology, information, and communication is “so stagnated and so crazy.”

“It’s such a broken, nonsensical idea,” he says.

However, he maintains it is “perfect for the Democrats, because they don’t want the new world to be ushered in. They want a world to be ushered in that will be of more centralized control and of more power over your decisions — and much more.”

CNN's Jake Tapper finds out how bad Americans think Biden is at his job — and his reaction is PRICELESS

On “The Rubin Report,” Blaze TV host Dave Rubin spoke with James Lindsay, Libby Emmons, and Elisha Krauss about a recent CNN poll that shows President Joe Biden's approval ratings have reached an "all-time low."

On "The Lead," CNN's political director, David Chalian, told host Jake Tapper that Biden's approval ratings have hit a new low in CNN polling, tracking well below former Presidents Donald Trump, Barack Obama, and George Bush for having the “right priorities" at this point in his presidency.

According to the poll, the president's overall job approval rating is at 38%, while his disapproval rating stands at 62%. At least 82% of Americans think the current economic conditions are "poor," only 30% approve of how Biden is handling the economy, and a mere 25% think he's doing a good job of tackling inflation.

Tapper called Biden's dismal approval ratings a “somber outlook for the state of our nation” and tried his best to act like the poll results were "shocking" (despite looking anything but shocked by the latest poll.)

Poll: Biden's favorability drops to new low in May as Americans lose patience with rising costs and inflation

President Joe Biden’s approval rating fell in May to its lowest point since he took office.

According to a poll published by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Research, only 39% of adults in the U.S. approve of Biden’s performance as president.

Overall, only about two in ten adults believe the U.S. is heading in the right direction or that the economy is in a good condition. Fox News reported that in April, about three in ten adults believed both. These drops in favorability were largely concentrated among Democratic voters with just 33% of the president’s own party believing that the country was headed in the right direction, down from 49% in April.

Among Democrats, Biden’s overall approval sits at 73% which indicates a drop from 82% in the same poll from last year. In 2021, Biden never dropped below 82% approval.

Last year, a similar poll conducted by the Associated Press showed Biden had an approval rating of 63% which is 24 points higher than his current approval rating.

Biden’s handling of the economy is one of the largest reasons for his dismal poll numbers as two-thirds of Americans are saying they disapprove of the way his administration has presided over the situation.

According to the poll, only 18% of Americans say that Biden’s policies have helped the economy more than they have hurt it, which is down from 24% in March. At the same time, 51% of Americans say that his economic policies have hurt the economy more than they have helped and 30% of respondents say that Biden’s policies have not made a difference on way or the other.

Biden’s performance in the polls has been slipping since January as several polls conducted across the political spectrum indicate Americans are increasingly frustrated with a wide range of issues stemming from record high gas prices and historic levels of inflation to a nationwide baby formula shortage.

Biden’s poll numbers have suffered hits from constituencies that have historically been reliable voting blocs for Democrats. A recent Quinnipiac poll suggested that Biden’s approval among Hispanics has fallen to 26%, but whether this will affect voting trends remains to be seen. The same Quinnipiac poll conducted a year ago had Hispanic support for Biden at 55%.

The plummeting approval numbers are not confined to Biden, however. Recent polls indicate that Americans are prepared to oust Democrats from Congress. 39% of respondents favored generic Democratic candidates with 46% of respondents favoring generic Republican candidates.

Voters say Biden, Democrats are 'out of touch' and 'condescending' in damning new poll

The bad news for President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party continued to roll in this week in the form of a new battleground district poll that found voters increasingly favoring the Republican Party ahead of the midterm elections.

What are the details?

The poll, conducted by the National Republican Congressional Committee, published Wednesday, found that among voters in 77 battleground congressional districts across the country, Biden's approval rating sat 15 points underwater.

According to the survey, 40% of voters in these districts — which Biden won in 2020 by a net of five and a half points — disapproved of the job the president is doing, while 55% disapproved.

A narrower focus on Biden's approval rating found that 45% of voters strongly disapprove of Biden's performance while only 17% strongly approve.

Making matters worse for the president, only 30% of independent voters, a key voting bloc, approve of his performance, while a whopping 62% disapprove. The NRCC noted the latest results indicate a -34 point swing in approval ratings among independents since Biden's inauguration last year.

An overall negative perspective on Biden and the Democratic Party seemed to be driving the numbers as 75% of swing voters in the districts reportedly agreed that Democrats are "out of touch" with everyday Americans as well as "condescending" towards voters.

What else?

The poll also found that jobs and the economy led the list of concerns among battleground voters and, on this issue, Republicans held a significant advantage.

In a press release, the NRCC noted that Republicans lead by 24 points with voters most concerned about the cost of living and by 20 points with voters most concerned about jobs and the economy. The GOP reportedly held an advantage on a litany of other issues, including crime and immigration, as well.

"Battleground voters continue to hold Democrats responsible for the negative impact that record-high inflation, soaring crime, and the crisis along our southern border are having on their lives," the group said, adding, "These voters overwhelmingly support Republicans who are focused on addressing these issues."

The Republican Party led a generic ballot consisting of all the battleground districts by four points, the poll found.

Why does it matter?

The NRCC survey produced results similar to several other surveys conducted in recent months. The overall trend is clear: Democrats are poised to surrender significant political ground when voters head to the polls in the midterm elections unless something drastically alters the state of play.

For example, a Wall Street Journal survey published earlier this month depicted what has been labeled a "5-alarm fire for the Democratic Party."

The survey found that 57% of voters disapproved of the job Biden is doing and 63% believed the country is heading in the wrong direction.

Moreover, the poll found that Republicans were making inroads with Hispanic and black voters, two voting demographics that typically favor Democrats.

At the time, Philip Klein, writing at National Review, said, "If these numbers are anywhere close to the actual results, Democrats will be massacred in November."
