Biden claims he's been 'delivering real results in fiscally responsible ways,' but here are the FACTS

The claims Biden made about the budget and the deficit during his disastrous State of the Union speech are bound to anger any hard-working American — and for good reason, because they’re not true.

“By the way, the first couple years we cut the deficit,” Biden told the country. “I’ve been delivering real results in fiscally responsible ways.”

“We’ve already cut the federal deficit,” he continued while slurring his words, “over a trillion dollars. I signed the bipartisan deal to cut another trillion dollars in the next decade.”

Stu Burguiere caught the lie immediately.

“Did you pick up a claim, uh, $1 trillion he claims he has cut,” Burguiere says, before going over the Congressional Budget Office Budget Outlook Headline Update to the budget from 2020 to 2030.

The CBO projected a federal budget deficit of $3.3 trillion in 2020, which is more than triple the shortfall recorded in 2019.

“We had a minor interruption, you might remember, called COVID-19,” Burguiere says, explaining that because no one could work, the government shelled out trillions of dollars to keep the economy running for what was supposed to be a short period of time.

“So the fact that he’s claiming a budget savings here is tough,” he adds.

Meanwhile, in 2018 and 2019, Donald Trump had deficits of $800 billion and $1 trillion.

In 2022 and 2023, Biden has $1.4 trillion and $1.7 trillion.

“How do you make $900 billion turning into $1.55 trillion into a good move?” Burguiere asks.

“You just measure yourself against peak COVID spending, which we all know is completely insane.”

WATCH: Footage captures the exact moment Kansas City parade shooter was caught

Despite what you might think, “there are good people out there,” says Dave Rubin.

Thankfully, there was more than one Good Samaritan attending the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade. When more than one shooter opened fire on the crowd, resulting in one death and over twenty injuries, a couple of attendees took it upon themselves to detain one of the perpetrators.

Dave plays the footage of the exact moment bystanders tackled one of the shooters.

One of the main civilians involved in the gunman’s takedown was Paul Contreras, whom Dave calls “a true American hero.”

When interviewed, Contreras said that he “didn’t think about it” and just reacted.

“As I'm tackling him, I see his weapon either fall out of his hand or out of his sleeve,” he said. That’s when he knew he had “to take this guy down.”

“Just a good man who saw something and did something,” says Dave.

Unfortunately, “the media and the Democrats and everybody else will say, ‘We need to get rid of guns … we need more gun laws,’” he says.

To see the footage, watch the clip below.

‘Meet the Press’ asks Mayorkas if he assumes responsibility for the border crisis, and this is his response

Despite narrowly escaping impeachment last week, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas still refuses to accept any of the blame for America’s border crisis.

Dave Rubin plays the clip of Mayorkas telling “Meet the Press’” Kristen Welker why the Biden administration is innocent.

“No doubt there is gridlock on Congress, but do you bear responsibility for what is happening at the border?” asked Welker, adding that even “the president himself” has called the issue “a crisis.”

“It certainly is a crisis, and, well, we don’t bear responsibility for a broken system,” Mayorkas responded. “We’re doing a tremendous amount within that broken system.”

“It’s not his fault; it's just a broken system,” mocks Dave, adding that “just weeks ago they were telling us that the system isn't broken and it's just these crazy right-wingers on YouTube that are making a big deal about this.”

Once enough people started talking about the undeniable border crisis, however, the administration was forced to respond. But of course its response is not to enforce the border laws that already exist but rather to pass a new bill that only furthers its agenda, especially overseas in Ukraine and Gaza.

“The White House is saying, ‘If you don't pass the bill that we want’ – which by the way we don't even need the bill in the first place because we already do have laws as it relates to the border … ’then we will have ICE stop doing its job,’” criticizes Dave.

“That is mafia-style tactics.”

Disney already in 'damage control' mode before 'The Marvels' is released

If you’re tired of Marvel movies with woke plotlines and feminist leading ladies, then that’s too bad because there’s another one on the way.

“The Marvels” is gearing up for its 2023 release next week and will star Brie Larson as Captain Marvel.

While Lauren Chen isn’t a fan of the Marvel franchise and its stars, she admits that what she is “a huge fan of is schadenfreude.”

“You see the team behind Captain Marvel, including Brie Larson herself. They were really at the forefront of basically accusing everybody who doesn’t like one of their movies of being sexist or toxic,” Chen says.

Larson as Captain Marvel has not been a selling point for fans, and because of that, Disney has “been doing everything in their power to essentially play damage control for the character.”

The new film is predicted to have one of, if not the worst, box office grosses for the MCU ever. It’s been predicted that "The Marvels" will only gross between $50 million and $75 million in its domestic opening weekend.

It’s also been predicted that the film will bring in between $121 million and $189 million at the domestic box office.

“If this data is correct, I really can’t imagine a way that Disney does not lose money on this,” Chen says.

And apparently, not even Brie Larson is fully on board with being Captain Marvel anymore.

“There’s even been a report that claims that Brie Larson has grown disillusioned with the role of Captain Marvel and that she no longer wants to play the character anymore,” Chen says.

THIS is how we 'fix Gen Z,' according to Jordan Peterson

Members of Gen Z have been trained by a faulty educational system to lack motivation, but that doesn’t mean they can’t turn things around.

Dave Rubin knows someone who can help.

“Who has explained a way out of it and gotten more young people to deprogram themselves than my good friend Jordan Peterson?” Rubin says, before playing a clip of Peterson telling a Fox News host what he thinks should be done.

“I think that if you set up an education system that’s designed to do nothing but demoralize young people and to convince them that their ambition is dangerous and, well, even world-threatening, for that matter,” Peterson says, “then you’re going to get exactly that. You hit what you aim at.”

These young people, Peterson believes, “are never taught anything about how to acquire a direction,” leaving them directionless.

Peterson references a study using a program he developed calling Future Authoring.

“We had university students sit down essentially for 90 minutes,” he explains, “and write out a goal, a series of goals for their life, right? Who could they be in five years across seven important dimensions of their life and where might they be that would be terrible if they didn’t get their act together?”

This study dropped the dropout rate by 50% and raised the grade point average by 35%.

“That’s all you have to do if you want to motivate young people is to teach them a bit of visionary discipline and encourage it,” Peterson adds.

Is THIS who will replace McCarthy as speaker?

In a surprising twist, Kevin McCarthy has been removed from his position as the speaker of the House, leaving the position completely vacant.

Eight Republicans joined forces with Democrats to oust McCarthy.

One of those Republicans was Rep. Matt Gaetz, who seems to have successfully persuaded his colleagues. “Chaos is Speaker McCarthy. Chaos is somebody who we cannot trust with their word,” Gates said.

“The one thing that the White House, Democrats, and many of us on the conservative side of the Republican caucus would argue is that the thing we have in common [is] Kevin McCarthy said something to all of us at one point or another that he didn’t really mean and never intended to live up to,” he continued.

Sara Gonzales believes this was a sound decision.

“What the hell have you done?” Gonzales says, referencing McCarthy. “You’re voting to send all of our money to Ukraine, you’re pushing the rest of the House members to sign on to these BS spending bills and you didn’t follow through with what you said you were going to do,” she adds.

BlazeTV contributor Jaco Booyens agrees, adding that he’d “like to see a Chip Roy in that seat, because Chip will 100 percent focus on the border.”

He notes that Jim Jordan would be great as well, “but Chip is a bulldog” who will, “at the minimum, stop the bleeding at the border.”

Pat Gray is concerned that “we could get somebody worse.”

“I can’t remember the last time there was a really strong conservative as speaker of the House. We’ve had to settle every time, or it’s been somebody terrible, like Nancy Pelosi,” he adds.

Gray believes we need someone “who’s going to assert the powers that belong with the Congress, like the power of the purse string.”

“Shut off the spigot for Ukraine, that’s thing one. Fund the protection of our own border, that’s really important,” he adds.

In the wake of impeachment inquiry announcement, here’s a RECAP of everything we know Joe Biden did

Yesterday, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced that a formal impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden’s involvement in Hunter Biden’s business dealings would soon commence.

All we have to say is: it’s about time.

Mark Levin agrees and recaps everything we already know about Sleepy Joe, or shall we say Sneaky Joe?

“The Ukrainian prosecutor who was fired as a direct result of Joe Biden’s threatening to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid has specifically stated that he was investigating Burisma, the corrupt company that Hunter Biden was serving on,” Levin recalls, but “Joe obstructed that investigation.”

We also know that “Joe Biden spoke to an untold number of Hunter Biden’s foreign clients, including top officials with ties to the Communist Party regime in China.”

But it doesn’t end there.

“Joe Biden knew, as a matter of fact, that Hunter was representing officially, or even unofficially, numerous foreign businesses,” and “that’s more than enough ... to be required to register under FARA.”

“Therefore, Joe Biden assisted his son in violating FARA … he’s a co-conspirator,” Levin asserts.

We know that “Joe Biden’s staff and Hunter’s business associates were in constant contact” as well.

“I guess they were just buddies,” Levin jokes.

Watch guest's face when Tucker Carlson exposes the REAL reason he was fired

Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, recently joined Tucker Carlson on his Twitter/X show.

Naturally, the subject of Tucker’s departure from Fox News surfaced during their conversation.

“Were you an ardent, like, ‘go, Fox, go’ guy?” Dave asked.

“My view on Fox hasn’t really changed,” Tucker responded. “They let me say ... whatever I wanted really for 14 years, and I’ll never stop being grateful for that.”

“Then obviously I said too much, and I'm not exactly sure what I said that was bad. No one ever told me. But one day they're like, ‘Oh, can't have this anymore,’ and they fired me,” Tucker continued in his ever-optimistic tenor.

“Did you feel like at Fox you could say whatever you want?” Dave pressed.

“It’s a company run by fearful women,” Tucker explained, “and they were always ... second-tier people who were hassling my producers, but no one ever called me.”

“I think they knew, like, the censorship ... [I] don't welcome that,” he explained.

However, it wasn’t until the Russia-Ukraine war broke out that things started to shift noticeably.

“My view was not pro-Russia,” Tucker went on. “This is not our fight, it's not good for us, we should just put an end to the war because people die in war. ... And just saying that was considered, like, crazy, pro-Kremlin propaganda, and they were very mad about that. But, to their credit, they never said anything to me about it directly.”

Regardless of the circumstances surrounding his departure from Fox, the former news anchor is grateful for the experience.

“Being humiliated in public, being fired ... is totally good for you in the end because it keeps you from thinking you’re Jesus,” he said.

One cannot help but admire the humility and optimism of Tucker Carlson.

CEO of X reveals MAJOR changes Elon Musk is about to unleash

As many know, Twitter has been renamed X, but that’s not the only thing Elon Musk intends to change about the social media platform.

X CEO Linda Yaccarino says that Musk has had rebranding plans for a long time now to “transform Twitter into X — the everything app,” a “global town square that is fueled by free expression, where the public gathers in real time.”

"'In real time' is what's most important about the vibrancy of X and how people interact with it," Yaccarino says, adding that since Musk acquired the platform, X has transformed "experiences and evolution into long-form video and articles" where people can "subscribe to [their] favorite creators who are now earning a real living on the platform."

“Soon you'll be able to make video chat calls without having to give your phone number to anyone on the platform” and potentially make payments to friends and other creators.

“The rebrand represented really a liberation from Twitter, a liberation that allowed us to evolve past a legacy mindset and a thinking and to reimagine how everyone on Spaces who's listening, everybody who's watching. Around the world, it's going to change how we congregate, how we entertain, how we transact all in one place,” she continues.
