Report: All of the Bobulinski material reviewed by Congress so far has been verified

The Senate committee tasked with verifying materials submitted to Congress by former Hunter Biden business associate Tony Bobulinski has found all of the material reviewed so far to be legitimate.

Bobulinski submitted materials to the FBI and to Congress last week that he said proved the Biden family — including Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden — leveraged their family name to broker a partnership with CEFC China Energy Co. in 2017. Bobulinski was a member of the business consortium that dealt with the Chinese firm before things went south.

A spokesperson for Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), who chairs the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, told the Daily Caller on Wednesday that all of the electronic devices and records of business dealings reviewed to date have been verified. The spokesperson also reportedly said that committee has not come across any "signs" or evidence to suggest the content is false.

The news appears to be a stunning rebuke of Democratic lawmakers and former intelligence officials, who have maintained that the Hunter Biden scandal stemming from the New York Post's reporting and Bobulinski's claims is part of a Russian disinformation campaign aimed at swaying the election.

The same laws that prohibit individuals from lying or submitting false information to Congress through verbal or written testimony also apply to the material Bobulinski submitted last week. As such, Johnson also told the Daily Caller that the lengthy review process will prevent the committee from calling Bobulinski to testify ahead of next week's election.

Bobulinski was supposed to appear before the committee last week but that was postponed after the FBI requested an interview with him over his allegations. In a statement, Johnson said he was happy that the FBI was taking the matter seriously.

"I appreciate that the FBI has a job to do, and I am glad they are finally taking an interest in these concerning financial matters that our Committees have been investigating for months," Johnson said. "I expect that Mr. Bobulinski will speak with our committee as soon as possible and fully share his insights into the Biden family's business dealings."

In September, Johnson and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) published a lengthy conflicts-of interests report about the Biden family which they said "revealed millions of dollars in questionable financial transactions between Hunter Biden and his associates and foreign individuals."

Among many findings, the report discovered that "on Aug. 8, 2017, CEFC Infrastructure Investment wired $5 million to the bank account for Hudson West III," most of which would later be rerouted to the Hunter Biden-owned Owasco firm.

'A blatant lie': Tony Bobulinski says it's 'disgusting' that Joe Biden is denying involvement in his son's business dealings

Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, said Tuesday that former Vice President Joe Biden's denial of involvement in a lucrative 2017 business deal between the Biden family and a Chinese energy conglomerate is "disgusting" and "a blatant lie."

Bobulinski made the claim during an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Tuesday, in which the Navy veteran said he almost stood up and shouted "liar!" during last week's presidential debate when Biden argued the story was baseless Russian disinformation. Bobulinski was in attendance at the debate in Nashville, Tennessee, as a guest of President Donald Trump.

"That's a blatant lie," Bobulinski told Carlson regarding Joe Biden's denial that he was involved. "When he states that, that is a blatant lie."

He added: "In that debate he made a specific statement around questions around this from the president, and I'll be honest with you, I almost stood up and screamed liar and walked out, because I was shocked that after four days or five days that they prepped for this, that the Biden family is taking that position to the world."

Elsewhere in the interview, Bobulinski said that Joe Biden's continued denial to the American people about his involvement is "absolutely disgusting."

Bobulinski, who says he met with the former vice president face-to-face in Los Angeles in May 2017 to discuss the prospective business partnership that the Biden family was establishing with CEFC China Energy, has turned over several electronic devices and business records to the FBI to corroborate his claims.

Text messages released last week appear to indicate that a meeting did in fact take place. One message sent from Bobulinski to James Biden shows Bobulinski asking the Democratic presidential nominee's younger brother to "thank Joe for his time."

Another text message from Bobulinski to Hunter Biden reads: "Mrng plse let me knw if we will do early dinner w your Uncle & dad and where, also for document translation do you want it simple Chinese or traditional?"

"Dad not in now until 11 - lets me I [sic] and Jim meet at 10 at Beverly Hilton where he's staying," Hunter Biden responded.

In May 2017, Joe Biden spoke at the Milken Institute Global Conference in Beverly Hills, California, hosted at the Beverly Hilton hotel.

Other alleged text messages appear to show that the Biden family and their business partners were wary of disclosing Joe Biden's involvement in the dealings, though an email published by the New York Post last week indicates that wariness didn't prevent them from giving kickbacks to Biden.

"10 held by H for the big guy?" the email said. Bobulinski would later confirm that the "big guy" was a reference to Joe Biden.

Biden campaign lashes out after Trump invites Hunter Biden's former business partner as guest to final debate

The Joe Biden presidential campaign lashed out in a fiery statement after the Trump campaign reportedly invited a former business associate of Hunter Biden as a guest to the presidential debate on Thursday.

"As Chris Wallace said on the air about this very smear, 'Vice President Biden has actually released this tax returns - unlike President Trump - and there is no indication he ever got any money from anybody in these business deals.'" read the statement from the Biden campaign.

Tony Bobulinski is a former Navy lieutenant and businessman who has contradicted the claims from Joe Biden that he never spoke to his son about business matters. Prior to the second debate between Biden and Trump, Bobulinski held a media briefing to announce that he was handing over electronic devices with evidence of his claims to the federal authorities.

"Joe Biden has never even considered being involved in business with his family, nor in any overseas business whatsoever. He has never held stock in any such business arrangements nor has any family member or any other person ever held stock for him," the Biden campaign statement continued.

"What is true is that Tony Bobulinski admitted on the record to Breitbart that he is angry he was *not* able to go into business with Hunter and James Biden," the statement said. "What is also true is that in contrast to Vice President Biden, Donald Trump has a secret bank account and pays more in taxes in China than he pays in federal income taxes in the United States - and that this is a desperate, pathetic farce executed by a flailing campaign with no rationale for putting our country through another four years of hell."

Bobulinski said in he media briefing that he had no political axe to grind against the Bidens and that the few times he had given to political campaigns were those of Democrats.

He did not answer when asked by the media if he had any association with Rudy Giuliani, who has been doggedly pursuing damaging information to the Biden family.
