Kirk Cameron tells the Robertson brothers his plan for America’s revival

Hollywood actor turned Christian author and evangelist Kirk Cameron joined Jase and Al Robertson on the “Unashamed” podcast to share his plans for a full-fledged American revival.

While Cameron is typically authoring children’s books for Brave Books, a Christian publishing company, he’s also turned his sights on adults who want to join the nationwide movement to take back America for God.

Titled “Born to Be Brave: How to Be a Part of America's Spiritual Comeback,” Cameron’s latest book, which just dropped earlier this month, outlines how Christians, who have been given “a birthright of courage,” can fight back against the evil ideologies that have poisoned our country and reinstall our Christian values.

Al and Phil, both of whom have already read the book, give it a stamp of approval.

The book is aimed at Christians, who “talk about wanting to try to somehow change our culture, change our country ... but then sit someplace in a church building and have no impact on what's going on,” says Al, adding that his favorite chapter is “Heavenizing Earth.”

“Tell folks what [heavenizing earth]” means, Al says to Cameron.

“You go to Genesis chapter 1 you see that God is creating the world, and then he puts man on a mission and he says, ‘Be fruitful, multiply, fill the Earth, take dominions, subdue all that [God] has created,’” says Cameron, pointing out that God’s mission for man is rooted in the idea of “family.”

That family, Cameron explains, was given a “cultural mandate” to “develop God's world in ways that are consistent with his character.”

Then, following the resurrection of Jesus, the command to Christians expanded in the form of the Great Commission. God’s people were not just called to fill the Earth and be obedient to him, they were also called to spread the good news of salvation offered through Jesus.

But despite the fact that we have been filled with and empowered by the Holy Spirit, today’s Christians are “so scared and depressed by the giants in our land,” says Cameron.

What do giants look like today?

“Big Tech, Big Government, Big Pharma, Big Business,” says Cameron. Now, we have Christians “sitting on their couch watching Fox News, crying in their Chick-fil-A soup, praying for a rapture.”

But that mindset is not how God designed his people to function, and it’s certainly not going to help our nation reverse course.

“We've created this self-fulfilling prophecy of a deteriorating future simply because we're not being salt and light in the culture,” says Cameron. “Meanwhile, the extremists on the left have a vision of victory for their worldview and believe that their ideas are powerful enough to create heaven on Earth.”

The result of this combination is devastating — especially for kids.

“These kids are going, ‘They’re the ones who care about the environment; they're the ones who seem to care about loving people, especially the outcast; they're the ones that want to bring people in from other countries and and give them asylum and a dream and a hope; they're the people that want to end all the problems in the world that are caused by greed and capitalism,”’ Cameron says.

“All of a sudden, we have handed our biblical playbook of creating a beautiful culture over to the enemy who's starting to run our plays better than the family of faith is.”

But it doesn’t have to be this way. To hear Kirk Cameron’s vision for our nation where Christians step into the power bestowed upon them by God and up to the plate of our calling, watch the episode above.

Conservative Families To Dwarf Drag Queen Story Hour’s World Record With Second ‘See You At The Library Day’

'These are the kinds of books that are fun, imaginative, but they're reinforcing the worldview and the values that parents so desperately want.'

Kirk Cameron exposes Scholastic Books as 'the head of the snake' when it comes it sexually explicit children’s books

Many adults look back fondly on the days when the Scholastic book fair came to their elementary schools. Lines of squirrelly, excited kids filed into the school library to purchase scented erasers, decorative pens and pencils, games and puzzles, baby animal posters, and, of course, books.

But those days of childhood innocence are seemingly over.

Actor, television host, and evangelist Kirk Cameron joins Pat Gray to discuss the disturbing content Scholastic Books now sells and promotes to children.

“How do these books with sexually explicit, pornographic, gender-bending, confusing, critical race theory-infused books get into these public libraries and public schools for children? ... Who is it?” asks Cameron.

“We found the wolf in the sheep's clothing – Scholastic books,” he reveals, adding that the billion-dollar conglomerate is “the world's largest producer of children's material, and they're lacing their pages with pornographic, obscene material that even Facebook will not allow [people] to post in the feed because it violates their obscenity laws … for adults.”

Cameron uses the book “Welcome to St. Hell,” which is “marketed to 8- to 12-year-olds – that's second-graders to sixth-graders” as just one example.

“In it is nudity, sex acts, girls with their hands down other girls' pants showing their pubic hair, and an instruction manual on how to use hormones to turn your female sex instruments into a hairy two-inch willy,” explains Cameron, saying that he’s “not using hyperbole.”

“This stuff is being pumped into your kids through the libraries and the public school system, and not just that, but they're grooming your littles to explore the world of drag … while they teach your children how to clear internet history searches and hide this from you so that they can essentially disciple your children in the way of Karl Marx and secular humanism,” he continues.

What’s perhaps even more terrifying is the reality that the United States, which was founded on “a set of Judeo-Christian values that says God gives kids to parents,” is quickly shifting toward a mindset similar to that of China and North Korea, where the state is the prime authority over what children are taught.

But we’re afraid the bad news doesn’t end there.

“When you look at … the biggest shareholders of this publicly traded company, Scholastic, guess who it is,” says Cameron. “BlackRock and Vanguard.”

“So the ESG [and] DEI is all coming down from the ginormous companies, and … the effect is you sexualize children, you separate them from their parents, and that’s the goal. Hitler said it. He said, ‘I don't care if you disagree with my ideologies; I have your children in my schools, and in 40 years, you'll be gone, and this is the only community they'll ever have known,” he explains.

“The good news is we still have enough liberty in this country to read books to our children, pull them out of government indoctrination camps, educate them, teach them about the Constitution and the values that lead to their blessing,” Cameron encourages.

And there’s more good news.

“We've replaced the monopoly that Scholastic has with SkyTree Book Fairs,” says Cameron, which is “a nonprofit I've partnered with” that carries only “great books for kids.”

Already over “700 public schools and private schools” are “replacing Scholastic Book Fairs with SkyTree Book Fairs,” he reports.

'Masculinity is under attack': Kevin Sorbo partners with Brave Books on new kids' book

Actor Kevin Sorbo of has partnered with Brave Books to write a kids' book meant to educate children about biblical masculinity.

"Masculinity is under attack today. We need to teach our kids what Biblical masculinity looks like. That's why I wrote a kid's book titled The Test of Lionhood with @bravebooks!" Sorbo posted on X.

— (@)

According to Fox News Digital, Sorbo said that boys should be allowed to learn that bravery and manliess are not bad.

"Everybody has a place in this world in terms of what they're supposed to do, whatever their biological sex is. And I think that we should let boys learn that being brave, and being manly, is not a bad thing. They're going out there and protecting people — and they shouldn't be afraid to confront things that are dangerous," Sorbo said, according to the outlet.

"We need our boys to become strong men who can lead their families, communities, in a more positive direction," Sorbo noted, according to the Daily Wire.

The book description indicates that the story is about a character named Lucas whose sister is "poisoned by the night-scorch thorns."

"It's all up to Lucas to save the day. Many obstacles stand in his path, but when a legendary lion shows up, Lucas's world changes. Join Lucas as he learns what it means to be a real lion through lessons like bravery and perseverance," the description states.

Sorbo, who describes himself as an actor, director, producer, and author, has had a lengthy career in the film and television industry. For example, he previously starred in the TV series "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" and later in the series "Andromeda." He directed and acted in the film "Left Behind: Rise of the Antichrist."

Library reverses course, will allow Moms for Liberty event featuring Kirk Cameron, Riley Gaines

After announcing on Thursday that a Moms for Liberty event would not be allowed to take place at the Madison Public Library in Alabama on Saturday, the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library system has done an about-face, announcing that it will now allow the event to proceed. The event is slated to feature Kirk Cameron and Riley Gaines.

A Thursday press release from the library system had cited capacity concerns when announcing that the event would no longer be welcome at the Madison Public Library.

In a Thursday letter to Huntsville-Madison County Library executive director Cindy Hewitt, First Liberty Institute senior counsel Jeremy Dys had threatened legal action if the library system insisted on blocking the event from being held. In the letter, Dys noted that First Liberty Institute was representing Brave Books and Kirk Cameron.

But in a statement on Friday, the library system reversed course, saying that the event may take place.

"The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library has agreed with event coordinators, Moms for Liberty, to accommodate their planned meeting on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Madison Library with a limit of 225 attendees. In the interest of public safety Madison Police and the Madison Fire Marshal will be on hand to manage any logistical needs," a Facebook post noted.

Cameron wrote on social media, "I believe this reconciliation between us and the Madison Public Library is a testimony to the strength and power of moms and dads gathering in prayer for the blessing of their community. Both sides rose to a higher ethic than we often see in today’s polarized society. By seeking the common good and love for our neighbor, we found a solution that we think will make tomorrow’s event in Madison, Alabama a family friendly, faith-filled, firmly patriotic event for all to enjoy. See you at the library!"

Moms for Liberty event, which was slated to feature Kirk Cameron, is no longer welcome due to capacity restraints, library claims

A book-reading event featuring actor Kirk Cameron will not be allowed to take place at the Madison Public Library in Alabama. In addition to Cameron, Riley Gaines, who has been outspoken in opposing the inclusion of men in women's sports, was also slated to appear at the event.

Moms for Liberty was planning to host the event at the library on August 5, but a Huntsville-Madison County Public Library press release cited capacity concerns.

"The Moms for Liberty organization had planned to feature Brave Books in a meeting room at Madison Public Library. Due to the event's anticipated attendance increasing beyond the Library's capacity, the Library will be unable to host the event. Initially, the organizers of the event reported 20 attendees to library officials. On Tuesday the Library learned that event organizers are now expecting over 300 people, a number that far exceeds any meeting room capacity within the Huntsville-Madison County Library System," the press release reads.

"After discussing the logistics of the event with both the Library and the event organizer, the Madison City Police Department and the Madison City Fire Marshal have recommended that the event be held at an alternate location," the press release states.

In a letter to Huntsville-Madison County Libraries executive director Cindy Hewitt, First Liberty Institute senior counsel Jeremy Dys claimed that after learning that Cameron and Gaines would be attending the event, Hewitt "abruptly cancelled the event citing 'security concerns' from a potential protest of Mr. Cameron and claiming the event exceeds the library's capacity."

Dys warned of legal action if the event is not allowed to take place at the library.

"We write to inform you that, should you persist in the cancellation of this event, you will have engaged in unlawful and unconstitutional religious viewpoint and content discrimination," Dys declared in the letter. "We therefore request that you respond by Noon Friday, August 4, 2023, confirming Brave Books and Mr. Cameron may utilize the Madison Public Library to host the 'See You at the Library' event on Saturday, August 5, 2023. Should you refuse, we are prepared to vindicate this violation of our client’s civil rights in court," Dys wrote.

How To Beat The Woke Children’s Publishing Industry At Its Own Game

Kirk Cameron's children's book about humility released just in time for Pride Month

Kirk Cameron's new children's book, which is meant to teach kids about humility, was scheduled for release on June 1, the day that marks the beginning of the annual month-long celebration of the LGBT movement known as Pride Month.

Cameron's aptly titled "Pride Comes Before the Fall" marks his second kids' book with Brave Books.

"BRAVE Books has partnered with Kirk Cameron to write a second book, Pride Comes Before the Fall. Officially releasing June 1, Pride Comes Before the Fall is a Christian, children's book that teaches kids the dangers of being prideful and the importance of having a humble spirit instead," the Brave Books website states.

During an interview with Jennifer Oliver O'Connell, Cameron, who is widely known for his time acting on the television show "Growing Pains," said that he "had a personal problem with pride" and "struggled with pride growing up."

"It was the value ... of the kindness and grace of God that humbled me," Cameron explained. He said that he learned "it is better ... to focus on God and loving your neighbor than to focus on self-exaltation and self-expression."

Each year of his presidency so far, President Joe Biden has proclaimed June as Pride Month and urged Americans "to wave their flags of pride high."

The White House currently has a Pride Month graphic posted on social media, as does the U.S. Navy.

"June 1 marks the start of 'ME MONTH,' also known as 'Pride Month.' Pride is the deadliest of the seven deadly sins, so rather than glorify it, I'm calling on all God-fearing Americans to shift their focus to the life-giving virtue of humility. That's what my brand-new book is about!" Cameron tweeted. "This book teaches children the importance of humility and serving others through a story they will love."

Kirk Cameron says men 'pretending to be women' protested his children's book reading, progressive pastor describes Christian-themed event as 'scarier than I had even imagined'

About 500 people attended Kirk Cameron's book-reading event for children in Fayetteville, Alabama. While most in attendance were parents, grandparents, and children, there were also drag queens protesting a children's book that fosters Christian and conservative values.

Cameron is currently on a national library tour where he reads his Christian-themed children's book "As You Grow" – which teaches "Biblical truths of the Fruit of the Spirit." The book's publisher, Brave Books, organized the "Freedom Island Book" tour as a wholesome alternative to drag queen story hour events and to "stand up for truth and Biblical values."

Brave Books said in December that more than 50 libraries rejected proposals for Cameron to do book readings despite the same libraries sponsoring drag queen story hours.

On Friday, Cameron did a book reading at the Fayetteville Public Library.

An overwhelming majority of attendees were supportive of Cameron and his book, like Mandy Brooks.

"We love Christ. We love Jesus and we just wanted to come help promote this. We love these Brave Books and we just love our country. So, we just wanted to come here and be part of what he’s doing," Brooks told KFSM-TV.

There were also protesters, including pastor Clint Schneckloth of the progressive Good Shepherd Lutheran Church that practices "full inclusion of the LGBTQ community in the life of the church" and defends specific communities, such as "black lives matter, the transgender network, Latinx, refugees, immigrants."

Schneckloth described the event as "overwhelming and far weirder and scarier than I had even imagined it would be." He claimed that the book reading was "indoctrination" and "propaganda." The progressive pastor held up a sign that read: "Is cashing in on 'Christian' hate a fruit of the spirit?"

"They had the group sing the national anthem and say the pledge and the loudest applause throughout the event was for nationalist/patriotic stuff even more than the Christian crap," Schneckloth wrote on Facebook.

Also protesting the children's event was the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence of the Arkansas Chapter of Hillbilly Harlots – a "group of queer nuns with a mission to spread love, light, and joy through education, awareness, and support for the LGBTQ community."

A member of the drag queen group was accused of stepping on a "poor, tiny white girl" and hitting her with a cane.

The Post Millennial reported, "Drag queen Patty Johnson was there as well, saying that Cameron reading to kids was 'what indoctrinating looks like,' and mocking the kids as 'a bunch of home-schooled children being sold a 'freedom' line of baloney when they are actually saying vote for more of your freedoms to be taken away because, communism and cancel culture are SO bad… so come Buy Our Books, capitalism is good of course!'"

Cameron labeled the disruptors as a "small group of protesters, which included some grown men wearing silly makeup, dressed in skirts and heels, pretending to be women."

Brave Books chief of staff Zac Bell said, "In coming to Fayetteville, Arkansas we expected to get a ton of supportive Christian and conservative families to show up. What we did not expect was for a group of drag queens and activists to attend and walk up and down the event giving the children in attendance the creeps."

Fellow Brave Books author Chaya Raichik – who runs the @LibsOfTikTok account – was forced to cancel her book reading event in New York City due to safety concerns.

"We have received threats of potentially inappropriate and unsafe behavior at the NYC story hour with Chaya Raichik on Sunday," Brave Books announced on Friday.
