Joe Rogan questions Sen. Fetterman about scheme to use illegal aliens to 'rig' swing states for Democrats

Tens of millions of illegal aliens have stolen into the U.S. since January 2021, killing citizens, tracking in lethal drugs and once-controlled diseases, siphoning taxpayer-funded welfare benefits, displacing schoolchildren, and in some cases, threatening the integrity of American elections.

Rather than take ownership for the deadly crisis, border czar Kamala Harris has repeatedly blamed President Donald Trump and Republican lawmakers for the failure of the so-called "bipartisan" border bill, which Democrats have memorialized as a kind of would-be panacea.

Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman (D) did his best to amplify this narrative on the Saturday episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience," but the titular host made clear he wasn't buying what the senator was selling. Rogan suggested that Democrats aren't looking for a solution to the border crisis but are instead using the border crisis to solve their problem of incomplete political control.

'You're rigging the system.'

When discussing the matter of immigration, Fetterman told Rogan, "Democrats are saying, 'Hey though, we need a secure border, we — you know — it's a significant issue.' And if I thought there was any kinds of issues and I've been very vigilant throughout, I've been actively involved in those kinds of things, and I've never witnessed those kinds of a thing."

"What do you mean by 'issues?'" said Rogan. "Like, what kind of issues are you talking about? You're talking about people letting people in, in order to get votes?"

"Well, it's not, there's not that level kinds. I don't think there's that level of kinds of organization," responded the senator.

Rogan balked at the suggestion that the crisis underway is not courtesy of some coordinated efforts, stating:

But there is a [level of] organization that's moving these people to swing states. There is a significant number of these people that are illegal immigrants that have made their way to swing states. And then there's been calls for amnesty. There's been calls for allowing these people to have a pathway to citizenship and allow them to vote. The fear that a lot of people have is that this is a coordinated effort to take these people that you're allowing to come into the country, then you're providing them with all sorts of services like food stamps and housing and setting them up, and then providing a pathway to amnesty. And then you would have voters that would be significantly voting towards the Democrats because they're the people that enabled them to come into the country in the first place, first place and provided them with those services.

"This is a big fear that people have," added Rogan, "that you're rigging the system and that this will turn all these states into essentially locked-blue like California is."

This fear was recently expressed by Elon Musk, who noted on his social media platform, "The Dems have imported massive numbers of illegals to swing states. Triple digit increases over the past 4 years! Their STATED plan is to give them citizenship as soon as possible, turning all swing states Dem. America would then become a one-party, deep blue socialist state."

Musk was referencing data that suggested the Biden-Harris administration was flooding red states with inadmissible migrants under the Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela program.

'The apportionment of House seats and votes in the Electoral College among the states is based on total population — not citizenship or legal status.'

Rogan's suggestion left Fetterman stammering. After re-centering himself with the defeatist suggestion, "Immigration is always going to be a tough issue in our nation," the senator proceeded to recycle Harris' suggestion that the "bipartisan" border bill was a step in the right direction but was ultimately tripped up by Trump.

"They had an opportunity to do a comprehensive border, bipartisan [bill] and that went down because Trump, he declared that, that, that's, that's a bad deal after it was negotiated with the other side," said Fetterman, glossing over Democrats' rejection of the robust Secure the Border Act of 2023 from Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) just months earlier.

Having evidently looked into the specifics of the Emergency National Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, H. R. 815, Rogan responded, "But didn't that deal also involve amnesty? And didn't that deal also involve a significant number of illegal aliens being allowed into the country every year? I think it was 2 million people."

Blaze News previously reported that the bill included emergency authority provisions that would enable the federal government to shut down the border if the average number of illegal alien encounters reached between 4,000 and 5,000 per day for seven consecutive days. Over 1.4 million illegal aliens could therefore steal into the country without triggering a clamp down.

"So it was still the same sort of situation," continued Rogan. "Their fear is exactly what I talked about: that these people will be moved to swing states and that will be used to essentially rig those states and turn them blue forever."

When Fetterman attempted to dive back into empty rhetoric, Rogan intimated that it only took Republicans tens of thousands of votes across several counties to win certain states in 2016, so tens of millions of illegal aliens, strategically placed then rendered loyal to Democrats with handouts and amnesty, could "rig those states undeniably."

Steven Camarota, the director of research for the Center of Immigration Studies, noted in a recent op-ed that illegal aliens don't necessarily have to vote to impact American elections.

The apportionment of House seats and votes in the Electoral College among the states is based on total population — not citizenship or legal status. The Census Bureau is clear that naturalized citizens, as well as non-citizens such as green card holders, foreign students, guestworkers and illegal immigrants are captured in the census every 10 years.

Accordingly, political operatives playing the long game need only deluge blue states with illegal aliens to increase their representation in Congress and the Electoral College.

Because the legal and illegal immigrant population is so large and unevenly distributed across the country, it causes some states to gain seats in the U.S. House of Representatives and Electoral College at the expense of others.

A Center for Immigration Studies investigation revealed last week that the inclusion of legal and illegal immigrants in the 2020 census shifted 17 House seats.

Fetterman told Rogan, "Immigration is changing our nation," stressing that it is "generally for a good thing."

Texas has sent over 50,000 illegal aliens to Democrat-run cities and shows no signs of letting up

Since President Joe Biden took office in 2021, Texas has faced an unprecedented influx of illegal aliens — what Gov. Greg Abbott has officially declared an "invasion."

As waves of migrants crashed upon the Lone Star State without cessation, Democrat-run states and cities kept up their pro-illegal migration rhetoric, more or less inviting foreign nationals to flout the laws of the land.

Ever since Texas began busing illegal aliens to these so-called sanctuaries in April 2022, that rhetoric has been put to the test and, in some cases, proven hollow.

Republican Gov. Greg Abbott announced Friday that as part of Operation Lone Star, Texas has bused over 50,000 illegal aliens to so-called sanctuary cities.

According to the governor's office, the state has bused:

  • Over 12,500 migrants to Washington, D.C., since April 2022;
  • Over 18,500 migrants to New York City since August 2022;
  • Over 13,500 migrants to Chicago since August 2022;
  • Over 3,100 migrants to Philadelphia since November 2022;
  • Over 3,200 migrants to Denver since May 18; and
  • Over 940 migrants to Los Angeles since June 14.

According to Axios, it has taken Texas roughly 1,130 buses to get these migrants to their blue destinations.

Having been exposed to just a fraction of what Texas has withstood, various sanctuary cities have buckled.

TheBlaze reported Tuesday that the executive director for Denver's Office of Emergency Management recently sent a letter to various Texas officials asking that they provide illegal aliens with flyers stressing that the Democrat-run sanctuary city is no longer able to provide shelter and other resources to future waves of border-jumpers.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams, who has admitted that the influx of illegal aliens under Biden "will destroy New York City," tried something similar at the border this year. Since his flyer campaign accomplished little in the way of precluding multitudes of additional migrants joining the over 100,000 that have already poured into NYC in recent months, Adams headed to Latin America last week in hopes of dissuading additional migrants from making their way north.

D.C. is similarly having troubles living up to its sanctuary promise. Its Democratic mayor deemed the influx of migrants a crisis last year, declared a state of emergency, and called on the National Guard for assistance. The District has since spent tens of millions of dollars to address the arrival of migrants bused in by Texas, reported the Washington Examiner.

As for Democratic Mayor Brandon Johnson's Chicago, migrants are piling into police stations, lobbies, and makeshift camps because all of the shelters intended for American citizens are full, reported the New York Times.

"We don't have any place for them to go," said Cristina Pacione-Zayas, deputy chief of staff for Johnson. "We are scrambling."

Andrew Vasquez, chairman of the city's Committee on Immigrant and Refugee Rights, said, "It's a logistical nightmare. ... You're going to see more people on the street figuring out a way to survive."

Housing and feeding the migrants in Chicago alone is expected to cost the city at least $345 million in under less than a year and a half.

According to the Times, the sanctuary city of Los Angeles is not having comparable difficulties, in part because it's too expensive for many illegal migrants to stay. Those who stick around can count on the already massive illegal alien population to provide a support network.

On Sept. 22, Abbott announced the deployment of additional buses to Eagle Pass and El Paso to help share their burden with Democrat-run cities.

"Texas communities like Eagle Pass and El Paso should not have to shoulder the unprecedented surge of illegal immigration caused by President Biden’s reckless open border policies. I have directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management to deploy additional buses to send these migrants to self-declared sanctuary cities and provide much-needed relief to our overrun border towns," said the governor. "Until President Biden upholds his constitutional duty to secure America’s southern border, Texas will continue to deploy as many buses as needed to relieve the strain caused by the surge of illegal crossings."

Axios noted that Abbott's initiative has successfully prompted Democratic leaders to increase pressure on the Biden administration to act on the border.

In his Friday announcement, Abbott indicated Texas has also apprehended over 473,900 illegal aliens since the launch of Operation Lone Star, made over 34,800 criminal arrests, and issued over 31,800 felony charges.

TheBlaze previously reported that September 2023 appears to have set an all-time record for illegal border crossings.

Between October 2022 and August 2023, over 2.2 million migrants stole into the country, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The previous fiscal year, another 2.3 million entered.

Glenn LOSES IT after NYC mayor blames TEXAS for illegal immigrant crisis

According to New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a “madman down in Texas,” otherwise known as Texas Governor Greg Abbott, is destroying New York City by sending buses full of illegal immigrants to the city.

Glenn Beck and Stu Burguiere think Adams is being more than a little hypocritical and ridiculous.

“Why is he a madman?” Stu asks. “He had the same observation you have. He had the same exact point you have, Eric. He’s seeing not ten thousand, but millions of people cross this border while he’s been governor.”

Stu and Glenn see what Abbott’s done as sheer desperation, for fear that Texas won’t survive with millions of illegal immigrants crossing over its border.

“They’re on the same exact team here, right, in theory. Except that Governor Abbott doesn’t have a policy that promises free housing for everyone who shows up and calls himself a sanctuary city,” Stu adds.

Meanwhile, President Joe Biden and the Department of Homeland Security have launched a nationwide workforce initiative that will funnel millions of border crossers and illegal aliens in the United States directly to jobs.

However, Mayor Eric Adams can’t seem to figure out who is actually to blame.

“I don’t see an ending to this. This issue will destroy New York City,” Adams told an audience. “We’re getting 10,000 migrants a month.”

“We’re getting people from all over the globe, have made their minds up that they’re going to come through the southern part of the border and come into New York City,” he added.

“Imagine how Dallas and Houston are impacted. Imagine how San Antonio and Austin have been impacted. Imagine those towns of 5,000 people by the border, how they’ve been impacted,” Glenn responds.

“Every sanctuary city should have busload after busload after busload. You’re a sanctuary city, you wanted them,” he adds.
