UFC fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg gets CANCELED by Elon’s MOM but is now back on?!

It all began with an innocent Twitter challenge.

On June 20, after an article was published detailing Meta’s plans to release a Twitter rival called “Threads,” Musk tweeted, “I’m sure Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options.”

Another Twitter user responded, saying that Musk should be careful because Zuckerberg does jiu jitsu, to which Elon replied:
“I’m up for a cage match if he is lol.”

While this at first seemed like a joke, it quickly evolved into something quite serious.

So serious, in fact, that Elon’s own mother, Maye Musk, got involved. And his dad too, apparently.

The family is worried not only for Elon’s physical safety but also for what this fight will mean for him.

Hilary Kennedy says that Elon’s dad reported that the fight will be “a lose-lose for Elon because…if Elon wins, then he looks like a bully…and if he loses, it’s total humiliation.”

Elon, however, is far less worried about it. Experienced in taekwondo, jiu jitsu, and karate, the Twitter owner is confident he can hold his own.

Despite Elon’s confidence, however, it seemed to everyone like the fight was called off, mostly because Maye Musk said so.

However, on June 27, former UFC Hall of Famer Georges St-Pierre, reached out to Musk via Twitter and said, “I'm a huge fan of yours and it would be an absolute honor to help you and be your training partner for the challenge against Zuckerberg.”

And Musk responded with a laconic, “Okay, let’s do it.”

“I’ll tell you this,” Pat Gray says, “If they wind up fighting and it’s on pay-per-view, I’m paying for that.”

UFC president Dana White certainly hopes this fight will come to fruition, as it’s predicted to produce a billion-dollar profit.

So will the two tech giants face off in the octagon?

Big Tech billionaire brawl? Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg seemingly agree to fight each other in a cage match

Billionaire Big Tech business titans Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg may face off in a cage match.

"I'm up for a cage match if he is lol," Musk tweeted, referring to Zuckerberg.

Zuckerberg shared a screenshot of Musk's tweet on an Instagram story and included the message, "Send Me Location," indicating a willingness to participate in such a fight.

And apparently, he's serious about it. "The story speaks for itself," Meta spokesperson Iska Saric told Alex Heath of the Verge.

"Vegas Octagon," Musk tweeted, adding, "I have this great move that I call 'The Walrus', where I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing."

Zuckerberg announced last month that he had earned medals at his first jiu jitsu tournament.

Musk has said he does not exercise much. "I almost never work out, except for picking up my kids & throwing them in the air," he tweeted. He has said that during his youth he was picked on and that he involved in "real hardcore street fights."

The two business tycoons are direct competitors in the social media space. Last year, Musk purchased Twitter and Zuckerberg is the founder, chairman, and CEO of Meta, which includes Facebook and Instagram.
