'Dynamic duo': Former Trump adviser hawkish on RFK Jr. as the former president's VP pick

Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon claims that going into the 2024 presidential election, a unity ticket with former President Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. "would be insurmountable."

Bannon told Turning Point USA CEO Charlie Kirk this week that he would "love Kari Lake or any one of these powerful women" to be Trump's running mate, but sees "a very compelling reason" for Trump to instead join forces with Kennedy.

Kennedy, the 69-year-old son of assassinated former U.S. Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of assassinated former President John F. Kennedy, announced his bid for the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination last week.

While the latest polling data puts Kennedy at the back of the pack of Democratic candidates, his campaign is still fresh and may benefit from Americans' overwhelming aversion to seeing President Joe Biden run again.

TheBlaze previously reported that a recent NBC News survey of 1,000 adults, conducted April 14-18, found that 70% of respondents, including 51% of Democrats, said that Biden — the oldest president ever to take office — should not run for re-election in 2024.

An April 15 USA Today/Suffolk University poll indicated that 14% of Biden's 2020 supporters would vote for Kennedy.

If Kennedy is unable to seize the Democratic nomination, he may yet have a path to the White House.

"I know Bobby Kennedy is terrible on guns, he ain't great on Ukraine, but he talks about going after the administrative deep state in a very significant way," Bannon told Kirk. "If we put together a unity ticket of Trump and Kennedy, it would be insurmountable. We would bring over many of the populists on the left ... and I think we could get two-thirds or 70% of the American people."

"If you put Kennedy and Trump together, that's a dynamic duo," added Bannon.

Bannon reiterated on another occasion, this time during his "War Room" podcast, that "Bobby Kennedy would be an excellent choice for Trump to consider," particularly if Kari Lake of Arizona runs instead for the U.S. Senate.

The former Trump adviser suggested that many of Kennedy's stated aims may resonate with a "hard-core MAGA" crowd.

Kennedy claimed he would seek to "end the corrupt merger of state and corporate power that is threatening now – threatening now – to impose a new kind of corporate feudalism in our country; to commoditize our children, our purple mountains' majesty; to poison our children and our people with chemicals and pharmaceutical drugs; to strip-mine our assets; to hollow out the middle class and keep us in a constant state of war."

According to his campaign website, Kennedy seeks to "roll back the secrecy, end the surveillance, stop the censorship, and make government transparent"; "end the foreign wars, bring home the troops, and devote the freed-up resources to revitalize America"; and "end the censorship and surveillance, reduce incarceration, and respect the rights and dignity of all citizens."

He has drawn heat from Democrats and the liberal media over his criticism of COVID-19 vaccines and pandemic restrictions, reported USA Today. Kennedy has similarly hounded Bill Gates and Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Despite the media repeatedly accusing Kennedy of being an "anti-vaxxer," the Democrat indicated in 2017, "I am and have always been pro-vaccine. I want safe vaccines, robust and transparent science, and honest, independent regulators. And I want thimerosal, the mercury-containing preservative, out of vaccines. I’ve been fighting to get mercury out of fish for 30 years, but no one calls me ‘anti-fish.'"

While a Trump-Kennedy alliance seems far-fetched to many, the two have collaborated before, albeit at a distance.
Trump appointed Kennedy to chair a commission on vaccine safety and integrity in 2017.

Lisa Parshall, a political science professor at Daemen University, told Newsweek that Bannon's proposal of a unity ticket is just intended to make trouble for Democrats.

"Trump's supporters are trying to give oxygen to RFK Jr.'s candidacy as a way of pestering Biden by encouraging any potential challengers," said Parshall. "I read Bannon's suggestion as in that same vein. There was a flirtation between RFK Jr. and the Trump administration around vaccinations and conspiracy theory, and Bannon is apparently claiming credit for encouraging his run."

Raging transgender activist caught on video flipping Turning Point USA table at University of Washington: 'Get the f*** off my campus, you Nazi!'

A transgender activist engaged in a furious and aggressive confrontation with members of Turning Point USA on the campus of the University of Washington on Wednesday.

The transgender activist is heard saying on video, "Yeah, no, you just support the genocide of trans kids and anyone who supported that."

A member of TPUSA calmly responds, "No. That is such an assumption."

The LGBTQ activist – who was not identified – claims that the TPUSA member is lying.

Pointing to the conservative pamphlets with the faces of the Founding Fathers on the Turning Point USA table, the transgender activist asserts, "Such an assumption with all of this s**t."

The Turning Point USA member asks the activist, "What is anti-trans on the table?"

Without answering the question, the transgender activist frustratingly replies, "You're TPUSA bitches."

The transgender activist then says "whatever" before lashing out and flipping the Turning Point USA table as well as all of the materials on it.

The raging transgender activist screams at the conservative group, "Get the f*** off my campus, you Nazi!"

It appears that the transgender activist then shoves a TPUSA member.

The TPUSA member is heard saying, "That's assault, actually."

Video of the violent outburst was captured by TPUSA campus field organizer Rachel Anderson. She said of the hostile encounter, "Some of that 'tolerance' here at UW! We're not going anywhere and will continue to have a presence on campus."

The official Twitter account for Turning Point USA said of the belligerent altercation, "Angry Leftist student flips TPUSA table Yet ANOTHER example of extreme actions taken against the existence of conservative values on school campuses."

Members of Turning Point said they would contact campus police at the University of Washington to report the antagonistic incident.

TheBlaze reached out to the University of Washington Police Department for comment, but had not received any communication by the time of publication.

Earlier this month, former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines was "ambushed and physically hit" as a violent mob pursued her after she delivered a speech warning of the dangers of including biological males in female sports during a TPUSA event at San Francisco State University.

Jamillah Moore, vice president for student affairs and enrollment management at San Francisco State University, praised students involved in the protest that turned violent, "It took tremendous bravery to stand in a challenging space."

Last month, alleged members of Antifa disrupted a Turning Point USA event featuring TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk at the University of California Davis. The event was marred by violence as alleged Antifa members smashed windows, hurled eggs, brawled with police, and intimidated people from attending the speech.

Leftist militants attack conservative students and use terror tactics to shut down Turning Point USA event at UC Davis

A Turning Point USA event was shut down Tuesday evening after multiple attacks by leftist militants on attendees were answered, not by the UC Davis police, who were kept from intervening, but by a handful of counter-protesters ready for a fight.

A night with 'MAGA Hulk'

The UC Davis student chapter of Turning Point USA organized an event for Oct. 25, set to feature conservative speaker Stephen Davis, the host of the podcast "SMASH with MAGA Hulk."

The chapter vice president of UC Davis TPUSA, Luke Shalz, noted that Stephen Davis is "an African-American gentleman who does not believe in systemic racism."

In advance of the event featuring a black conservative speaker, flyers were distributed on campus accusing TPUSA of being "racist, homophobic, transphobic, and anti-immigrant" and of celebrating violence. The flyers also defamed Kyle Rittenhouse, who spoke at a TPUSA event, as a "racist murder [sic]."

The flyers called on "anyone who opposes racism and bigotry to stand together and make it known that TPUSA is not welcome on our campus."

— Amber (@Amber) 1666202205

Similar posts were circulated online accusing Stephen Davis of being a fascist for "denying systemic racism."

“COMMUNITY ALERT! Turning Point USA is bringing Stephen Davis (aka "Maga Hulk") to UCD on Oct. 25th for an event denying systemic racism. Show up and make it clear that these fascists aren't welcome on our campus. Tues 10/25 @ 6pm on Vanderhoef Quad (near the Mondavi Center).”

Notwithstanding calls for censorship ahead of the event, the university claimed that it was "committed to the First Amendment, and ... required to uphold it. We affirm the right of our students — in this instance, Turning Point USA at UC Davis — to invite speakers to our campus, just as we affirm the right of others to protest speakers whose views they find upsetting or offensive."

The university also reportedly informed the TPUSA campus chapter that UC Davis police would be present at the event and that they would intervene if protests turned violent.

However, when leftist protesters began using barriers as battering rams and pepper-spraying young women, the campus police — said to have been on site — did not take action or deploy into the crowd.

The university told KCRA3 that officers had been on standby when the fighting broke out, but did not act because "the situation de-escalated on its own, eliminating the need for the police to engage."

The brawl

The brawl that ensued allegedly involved 100 people and began, according to TPUSA's field team, when Antifa began provoking people trying to enter the venue.

In a statement, UC Davis noted there had been reports of Antifa supporters involved in the fighting and pepper-spraying and that members of the pugnacious men's group Proud Boys may have also been on the scene.

One young female conservative was pepper-sprayed by leftist agitators.

UC Davis also indicated that some "in the crowd used barricades to beat on the glass of the UC Davis Conference Center, where about 30 people were inside waiting for the event to begin."

Student Affairs staff reportedly determined that the chaos outside presented sufficient danger to warrant shutting down the event.

The UC Davis TPUSA chapter ultimately agreed, later stating, "Rather than risk any further escalation of violence, our TPUSA chapter leadership decided to cancel the event when it became apparent campus PD was unable to disperse the violent agitators outside while also keeping our students safe inside."

"This is a great loss for free speech, our speaker Stephen Davis, and for the students at UC Davis. TPUSA condemns all violence and refuses to be cowed by those who use threats and intimidation to stop conservatives on campus," TPUSA tweeted.

On Thursday, former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell called out UC Davis chancellor Gary May, suggesting he had failed up to stand up for true diversity on campus after Davis, a black speaker, had been shut down by "radical lefties."

Catherine Brinkley, a UC Davis professor, celebrated the silencing of a black conservative and the leftist attacks on unarmed students, stating she was "really proud of our students, faculty, staff and community who showed up to counter-rally a planned speaking event at UC Davis. Thank you for putting your bodies on the line."

It is unclear whether the event will be rescheduled.

Twitter bans more big-name conservatives critical of biological males winning awards meant for women

Twitter on Tuesday continued its censorship crusade against conservative personalities over the supposed misgendering of Dr. Rachel Levine, President Biden's assistant secretary of health at the Department of Health and Human Services.

Levine, who is a biological male presenting as a transgender woman, was recently named as one of USA Today's "Women of the Year." The nomination was controversial, to say the least, and immediately ignited outrage on social media.

One of the more decent reactions, all things considered, was a parody article posted by a popular conservative satirical website, the Babylon Bee. Editors at the Bee often elucidate liberal idiocy through satire — but Twitter didn't find its joke funny. Instead, the platform labeled the article "hateful conduct" and suspended the site's account.

But Twitter's offensive against the Babylon Bee and its personnel didn't stop there.

On Tuesday, news broke that the platform had suspended the site's editor-in-chief Kyle Mann for posting more "hateful conduct" regarding the initial suspension.

"Maybe they'll let us back into our @TheBabylonBee Twitter account if we throw a few thousand Uighurs in a concentration camp," Mann gibed the day before in reference to the platform's selective censorship.

With the tweet, he criticized Twitter's practice of policing some accounts but not others associated with oppressive governments, such as the Chinese Communist Party. Twitter responded by locking his account.

Babylon Bee editor-in-chief @The_Kyle_Mann has now been locked out of Twitter for this tweet.

So, literally perpetuating genocide will not get you booted off Twitter, but making jokes criticizing those who do, will. Got it.pic.twitter.com/Kqc1jzzALs
— Adam Ford (@Adam Ford) 1647960427

In a tweet, Babylon Bee creator Adam Ford slammed the platform, saying, "So, literally perpetuating genocide will not get you booted off Twitter, but making jokes criticizing those who do, will. Got it."

Twitter's censorship went beyond the Babylon Bee circle, as well.

Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk also had his account suspended on Tuesday after he joined in on the discussion about Levine.

"Richard Levine spent 54 years of his life as a man. He had a wife and a family," Kirk wrote, making note of Levine's birth name and personal history. "He [then] 'transitioned' to being a woman in 2011, Joe Biden appointed Levine to be a 4-star Admiral and now USA Today has named 'Rachel' Levine as a 'Woman of the Year.'"

"Where are the feminists??" Kirk added.

Looks like @charliekirk11 was suspended by Twitter for what seems like an accurate assessment of the timeline and then asking a legitimate question….pic.twitter.com/eyUxu4mQ0Y
— Dave Rubin (@Dave Rubin) 1647969002

After the Babylon Bee's original suspension of the satire site's account, Mann tweeted, "We at @TheBabylonBee stated the fact that a man is a man, through satire, and got locked out of this platform for it. We are living in a clown world."

Kirk was issuing the same statement with his tweet and was suspended for it.

These, however, are far from the only examples of Twitter's attack on conservatives specifically over Levine.

TheBlaze previously reported on the platform's censorship of Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) after the lawmaker called Levine a "man" in October.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton were have also been flagged for "hateful conduct" by Twitter for describing Levine a biological male.

Internet reactions to photos of Obama's supposed 'scaled back' birthday bash boasting massive tents for celebrities: 'Do you feel like a peasant yet?'

Former President Barack Obama is throwing a huge birthday party for himself at his opulent $12 million waterfront mansion on Martha's Vineyard on Saturday. The birthday bash was originally supposed to include nearly 500 guests and more than 200 staff, but the celebration was "significantly scaled back" to include "only family and close friends" due to criticism over holding a social gathering of that size during a surge in COVID-19 infections.

However, photos emerged of massive tents constructed specifically for the birthday party on Obama's 29-acre estate. There were also images of celebrities arriving at Martha's Vineyard to attend the festivities. The internet was quick to point out that the preparations for the party looked anything other than "scaled back."

Several celebrities were reportedly invited and then uninvited, including late-night talk show hosts David Letterman and Conan O'Brien, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" actor Larry David, and David Axelrod, chief strategist for Obama's presidential campaigns, according to the New York Times.

The celebrities who did make the cut include Beyonce, Jay-Z, Eddie Vedder, Tom Hanks, and musician Questlove, who reportedly coordinated a meat-free menu for the party. "Oprah Winfrey and Ava DuVernay had pulled out of the party earlier because of concerns over the Delta variant," the Times reported. Steven Spielberg, Bruce Springsteen, and George Clooney were reportedly on the original guest list, according to the New York Post. There were no reports of Obama's "bro" and former vice president Joe Biden attending the birthday party.

The New York Times added that the attendees of the party would be a "mostly vaccinated crowd," but "all of whom had to submit negative tests to gain entry to the property."

The party had been planned for months, and "the former president had baseball caps made for the occasion that read '44 at 60.'"

The Daily Mail released photos of massive tents on the Obamas' grandiose grounds. The outlet also published photos of celebrities arriving at the wealthy Massachusetts enclave for Obama's 60th birthday party, including Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Dwayne Wade, Gabriel Union, Don Cheadle, and Stephen Colbert. Biden's climate czar, John Kerry, was seen in photos taking a private jet to Martha's Vineyard.

The internet reactions to Obama's swanky and seemingly over-the-top birthday party complete with circus-like tents were delivered fast and furious.

 • "Do what we say, not what we do."
 • "The hypocrisy is the point."
 • "These are the people calling you selfish if you don't want to close your small business."
 • "Do you feel like a peasant yet?"
 • "All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others."
 • "The virus so deadly the elites risk their lives for a birthday party!"
 • "Look, news outlets raised cane when @POTUS45 held events at his compound in Florida during the pandemic. Now. @BarackObama celebrating his 60th with a tent larger than a lot of homes. It's just the news cycle. Stay healthy."
