‘You Are Killing Children!’: Pro-Palestinian Protesters Harass GOP Rep, Conservative Influencer At Campus Event
'College Republicans SUCCESSFULLY hosted Jim Banks and Chaya Raichik'
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society recently canned a 90-year-old volunteer who worked for the organization for several decades all because she dared to question its conformity to radical social constructivist conventions.
The backlash online was swift and severe.
Various critics expressed doubts about making future donations to the organization. Others accused the organization — which locked comments on X and saw at least one employee deep-six her social media accounts — of ideological capture or ageism.
After doubling then tripling down on the ouster, the DEI-gripped organization finally came around to apologizing; however, that too has drawn the ire of critics who feel it was a similar "fail."
Fran Itkoff, 90, volunteered for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for roughly six decades, running the Long Beach Lakewood MS support group in California and aiding countless people who were afflicted with the same condition as her late husband.
Blaze News previously noted that Itkoff received the Volunteer Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008 for her committed service to others.
Chaya Raichik of Libs of TikTok raised the alarm that Itkoff was fired in January for apparently questioning the organization's practice of stating gender pronouns in its communications.
In the Jan. 19 termination letter obtained by Raichik, Kali Kumor, a pronoun-providing MS Society community engagement manager who recently deleted her LinkedIn profile, told Itkoff: "After a thorough review of our guidelines and standards, it has come to our attention that there has been a failure to abide by our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion guidelines during your time as a volunteer."
"Unfortunately, based on the situation, we have made the difficult decision to have you step down from your volunteer position, effective immediately," wrote Kumor.
"I was completely shocked as I read that," Itkoff told Libs of TikTok. "I couldn't believe that. I had to read it a couple of times to see if I'm getting what she said."
— (@)
Itkoff's daughter Elle Hamilton said it was disappointing the MS Society would discriminate against her mother, particularly when the disease she has devoted her life to helping others fight does not similarly discriminate.
"Can happen to anybody," said Hamilton. "Anybody can get the disease and yet they're discriminating against her ... trying to help, just because she asked a question to explain what the pronouns were."
Raichik summarized the situation thusly: "So you're volunteering for 60 years. You gave your life to this organization. You honored your late husband. And ... they just take it away from you in a split second and throw you under the bus just because you did not understand why someone who is a woman needs to have the words she/her in their email signature."
Libs of TikTok obtained an internal Feb. 9 email from a pronoun-providing "Executive Vice President, General Counsel" concerning Itkoff's ouster. The letter suggested the decision to fire the nonagenarian was made with "thought and care"; that the organization wouldn't fire someone for asking questions about its inclusive practices; and that the MS Society expects that volunteers "uphold the values outlined in our Inclusion Policy."
In the face of significant backlash, the MS Society released a public statement on Feb. 15 saying, "We firmly believe that we best serve and support those living with MS by creating a space that welcomes all. This is especially true for self-help group leaders, who are responsible for leading meetings for people affected by MS to confide in and support one another."
The MS Society further claimed in the statement that its "staff acted with the best intentions" when canning Itkoff.
— (@)
This statement was ratioed on X and prompted even more furor.
All-American, all-female swim star Riley Gaines, one among many critics who responded, wrote, "You cannot tout that you are an 'inclusive' organization when you lay off a 90yr lady who gave 60 yrs of support and service because she didn't understand the concept of preferred pronouns. Despicable. She's got a heckuva lawsuit on her hands and I hope she sees it through."
The MS Society finally caved this week, noting in a statement Wednesday, "The National Multiple Sclerosis Society apologizes to our longtime, dedicated volunteer Fran Itkoff. Recently, we asked Fran to step down from her role as a group leader because of statements made that we viewed as not aligning with our recently implemented diversity, equity and inclusion policy."
Once again, the MS Society suggested that the ouster — apparently driven by Itkoff's failure to reflexively conform to the radical conventions of the day — was motivated by "the best intentions."
"We realize now that we made a mistake," continued the statement, "and we should have had more conversations with Fran before making this decision."
While acknowledging that "as an organization, we fell short," the MS Society continued painting Itkoff as an ignoramus in need of re-education.
"We should have spent more time with Fran to help her understand why, as an organization, we are dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive movement where everyone has equitable access to the care, connections, and support they need to live their best lives," said the statement.
Raichik responded, "Better late than never but this never should've happened to begin with! They put an old woman under unnecessary stress."
The apology rang hollow for various critics, including conservative commentator Megyn Kelly, who tweeted, "Another FAIL from the MS Society - they finally apologize to the 90-yr-old volunteer they fired for not understanding why she was forced to say her pronouns but now say what they shld've done was work w/her to explain how wonderful DEI is. WRONG AGAIN."

Fran Itkoff, 90, has been volunteering for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for roughly six decades, helping multitudes of people who suffer from the disease that plagued her late husband.
The elderly volunteer recently told Chaya Raichik of Libs of TikTok that her days with the MS Society have been unceremoniously brought to an end because she allegedly dared to question the organization's social construcivist virtue signals — the provision of gender pronouns in particular.
While ostensibly an organization committed to fighting disease, the MS Society has in recent years become infected by identitarian and LGBT ideologies.
In 2020, the MS Society began prompting employees to recite its DEI statement before all meetings; it removed Columbus Day holiday and added Juneteenth as a paid holiday; and it started having race-based summits. The next year, the MS Society added "pronoun options" to standard email signature templates and ramped up its obsession with racial politics.
By 2022, it began holding Hispanic summits extra to its annual black summit and established a zero-tolerance inclusion policy underscoring it is "committed to embedding diversity, equity and inclusion in everything we do."
Many decades before this institutional degeneration came about, Fran Itkoff's husband took over the Long Beach Lakewood MS support group in California, looking to help others with his affliction.
Itkoff told Raichik, "I helped him, of course, all the time. When he passed away, which is 20 years ago, I decided to keep the group going because everyone wanted to continue it."
According to the elderly volunteer, everything went swimmingly until a representative of the MS Society recently reached out, allegedly asking her to employ her pronouns.
"I was confused. I didn't know what it was, what it meant," said Itkoff. "I'd seen it on a couple of letters that had come in — after the person's name, they had the pronouns — but I didn't know what that meant. So finally when I was talking to her, I thought I'll ask, 'What does it mean?' and let her tell me."
"She said it meant they were all-inclusive, which didn't make sense to me because it sounds like you're labeling for females and not males if you're just putting in she/her," continued Itkoff. "A few days later ... I got an email from her saying that they were sorry but had to ask me to step down as a volunteer for the MS Society."
A copy of the letter Itkoff reportedly received from Kali Kumor, a pronoun-providing California-based MS Society community engagement manager — who appears to have recently deleted her LinkedIn profile — states, "As we discussed earlier during our phone conversation, after a thorough review of our guidelines and standards, it has come to our attention that there has been a failure to abide by our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion guidelines during your time as a volunteer."
"Unfortunately, based on the situation, we have made the difficult decision to have you step down from your volunteer position, effective immediately," wrote Kumor.
The letter suggests that Itkoff is free to continue meeting independently with her self-help group but that it will no longer be formally affiliated with the MS Society.
Itkoff's group does not presently appear on the MS Society's updated list of local support groups.

"I was completely shocked as I read that," Itkoff told Libs of TikTok. "I couldn't believe that. I had to read it a couple of times to see if I'm getting what she said."
Itkoff's daughter Elle Hamilton stressed that the apparently ideology-driven ouster was especially surprising given her mother's decorated service to the cause, for which the New York Post indicated she received the Volunteer Lifetime Achievement award in 2008.
Raichik summarized the situation thusly: "So you're volunteering for 60 years. You gave your life to this organization. You honored your late husband. And ... they just take it away from you in a split second and throw you under the bus just because you did not understand why someone who is a woman needs to have the words she/her in their email signature."
"It's just sad that they're discriminating against her," said Hamilton. "I mean, MS does not discriminate. Can happen to anybody. Anybody can get the disease and yet they're discriminating against her ... trying to help, just because she asked a question to explain what the pronouns were."
Hamilton wonders whether the MS Society is too "focused on these words and these pronouns and they've lost their focus on finding a cure for MS and helping the patients and all the programs that go along with that."
The New York Post indicated that it had reached out to the MS Society for comment but has not apparently received word back yet. However, Libs of TikTok obtained an internal email from Feb. 9 concerning Itkoff's termination.
"Yesterday, a video was posted online about a National MS Society self-help group leader who was recently asked to step down from her position," says the email, ostensibly sent by a pronoun-providing "Executive Vice President, General Counsel."
"We expect National MS Society volunteers to uphold the values outlined in our Inclusion Policy," continues the email. "We celebrate learning and personal growth. We would not dismiss a volunteer because they asked questions about the Society's inclusive practices."
— (@)
Itkoff made expressly clear that while the MS Society tangles itself up further in woke ideology, she'll keep doing the necessary work on the ground.
"I'm going to keep this group going like I have all these years, anyway, because I want to keep it going and the patients that come want to keep going," said the 90-year-old volunteer.

Chaya Raichik, the creator of Libs of TikTok, has been appointed to serve on the Oklahoma State Department of Education's Library Media Advisory Committee.
Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters noted that he is "proud to have her on our team."
"Chaya is on the front lines showing the world exactly what the radical left is all about — lowering standards, porn in schools, and pushing woke indoctrination on our kids," Walters said in a statement. "Because of her work, families across the country know just what is going on in schools around the country. Her unique perspective is invaluable as part of my plan to make Oklahoma schools safer for kids and friendly to parents. Chaya has a much-needed and powerful voice as well as a tremendous platform that will benefit Oklahoma students and their families."
In a post on X, Raichik responded to the announcement by declaring, "WE WILL GET PORN OUT OF SCHOOLS!"
— (@)
Oklahoma state Rep. Jacob Rosecrants, a Democrat, responded to the news by claiming that it "isn’t a good thing for Oklahoma" and accusing Walters of being "way into far-right national stuff rather than, ya know, superintendent-ing our public schools here in OK."
Walters has expressed support for a state bill that would require public schools to display the 10 Commandments in each classroom.
"The breakdown in classroom discipline over the past 40 years is in no small measure due to the elimination of the Ten Commandments as guideposts for student behavior," Walters said in a statement earlier this month. "I will continue to fight against state-sponsored atheism that has caused society to go downhill."

For those who don’t know, Chaya Raichik is the face behind the TikTok account called Libs of TikTok. Her account is dedicated to what the mainstream media dismisses as right-wing extremism, hate speech, and transphobia. Decide for yourself what you think of Chaya’s content, but her questions regarding Israel and Hamas are totally valid.
Dave Rubin, for one, admires Chaya, calling her “one good person who’s out there fighting.”
He plays a clip of the influencer “[confronting] some of the people from our Hamas caucus,” including AOC, and let’s just say it confirms everything we already knew about the New York rep.
“Hey, can I grab a photo with you?” Chaya asked AOC, who responded amicably.
Until she saw who it was; then her tone (and direction) took a 180 degree turn.
AOC immediately wheeled around in the opposite direction, stalking away from Chaya, who trailed her persistently.
“When you told me you never wanted to share a space with me, is it because you're part of the Hamas caucus and I'm Jewish?” Chaya boldly asked, referencing a comment AOC made in the past.
“No, it’s because you’re a transphobe,” AOC retorted. “I have to go.”
“Oh, are you heading to a Hamas caucus meeting?” Chaya fired back. “What do you say to the families of Americans who are currently being held hostage by Hamas? Does the Hamas caucus have a statement about it?”
But, of course, AOC couldn’t bring herself to even acknowledge the tragedy of Americans caught in the crossfires of Israel and Hamas.
Her only response was to slam the door in Chaya’s face.
“They seem incapable of condemning people who literally put children into ovens,” says Dave Rubin in disbelief.
However, there is “a silver lining.”
“The revolution will eat her the way the revolution is eating Bernie Sanders, who's largely irrelevant,” he assures.

Leftists are enraged by the Anti-Defamation League's decision Friday to de-list the woman behind the Libs of TikTok from its "Glossary of Extremism."
Until late last week, the ADL had listed Chaya Raichik, an Orthodox Jewish children's book author, in its glossary along with various Nazi organizations, mass-murdering terrorist groups like Hamas and ISIS, and the Ku Klux Klan. Raichik announced she would no longer stand for it, telling the leftist outfit that it had until Oct. 31 "to remove this defamatory entry" before she would take action.
The ADL blinked.
Raichik, a former Brooklyn real estate agent, started the social media account Libs of TikTok in 2020, showcasing the ideological capture and radicalism of various activists in the West, particularly child-facing LGBT propagandists. She now has over 2.6 million followers on X.
For drawing attention to the efforts by teachers and others to sexualize children, Raichik drew the ire of non-straight activists and their champions in the establishment press.
Ari Drennen, LGBT program director at Media Matters, was among the many who bemoaned the efficacy of Libs of Tiktok, noting it has "been shaping public policy in a real way, and affecting teachers' ability to feel safe in their classrooms. ... Libs of TikTok is shaping our entire political conversation about the rights of LGBTQ people to participate in society."
Washington Post columnist Taylor Lorenz doxxed Raichik in April 2022, framing her as a threat to the LGBT agenda.
Although Raichik subsequently faced an onslaught of hate and apparent death threats from the usual suspects, she held her ground and continued posting both as Libs of TikTok and as herself — with assurance from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis that she and her family could always find refuge in the governor's mansion if things get dicey.
Just as Raichik doubled down on her efforts, so did her critics, keen to present her work as threatening to the point of being terroristic.
Harvard Kennedy School professor Juliette Kayyem, a supposed expert on terrorism who served as the Department of Homeland Security's assistant secretary for intergovernmental affairs in the Obama administration, cited Raichik as an example of a "stochastic terroris[t]."
The ADL joined the effort to ostracize Raichik and neutralize her reportage, allegedly "push[ing] hard" for X to shut down her account. In September 2022, it added Raichik to its "Glossary of Extremism.
The entry stated, "Libs of TikTok is a popular anti-LGBTQ+ twitter account operated by former real estate agent Chaya Raichik. The account, which has over 1.3 million followers as of August 2022, attempts to generate outrage and stoke anti-LGBT+ hostility by reposting selected out-of-context social media content created by LGBTQ+ people and liberals."
"The individuals, events and organizations targeted by the account are frequent targets of harassment, threats and violence," continued the post.
Raichik wrote a year later in Human Events, "The truth is that the ADL no longer stands for Jewish interests. They have increasingly become just a pathetic propaganda arm for the radical left. ... The ADL are just massive bullies who have way too much power. They are not about anti-defamation. They are only anti defamation as long as you go along with their far-left viewpoints. If you disagree with them, they will defame you."
On Oct. 24, Raichik posted on X, "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I'm calling on the @ADL to immediately remove my name from their 'Glossary of Extremism.' Not only have they defamed me, they also lumped me in with terrorist organizations like Hamas. They have until Oct. 31st to remove this defamatory entry before I'm forced to take more action."
In the post, Raichik also tagged the CEO of the ADL, Jonathan Greenblatt.
The next day, the Advocate reported that an ADL spokesman had acknowledged Raichik's "demands and are investigating."
Highlighting this response, Raichik noted on X, "The clock is ticking!"
The ADL came in under the wire, capitulating on Friday.
Steven Sheinberg, the chief legal officer at the ADL, reportedly told Raichik over X, "I understand that you have expressed concerns about your inclusion in the ADL Glossary of Extremism and have threatened legal action. ... As a preliminary matter, we disagree with your assertions that ADL has done anything defamatory or otherwise harmful to you. Our reporting and opinions are constitutionally protected, reflect your status as a public figure and are accurate."
"At the same time, we are not immune to criticism of our work, and take such feedback into consideration," continued Sheinberg. "Indeed, the Glossary of Extremism is an evolving resource and one we are presently reviewing in terms of brand, substance, and function including examining the mechanics of how materials are recommended to users. As a result, we will temporarily remove Libs of TikTok from the Glossary."
"This is not an endorsement of your body of writing and other material reflective of your odious views about, and harmful impact to, the LGBTQ+ community remain on the ADL website," he added.
Raichik celebrated the win on X, writing, "The ADL finally caved after immense pressure and threats of legal action and REMOVED my name from their Glossary of Extremism!"
She added, "Just goes to show that the ADL knows I'm not a violent extremist. The decision to put me on their 'Glossary of Extremism' was all political theater. They're a propaganda tool of the radical Left and they went too far with this."
An ADL spokesman confirmed the removal to the Advocate, stating, "While we maintain any potential litigation is meritless, we have temporarily removed the entry from our Glossary of Extremism while we continue to review the matter. Other material reflective of Libs of TikTok’s odious views about, and harmful impact to, the LGBTQ+ community remain on the ADL website."
While Raichik is no longer listed in the glossary, the ADL still claims that Libs of TikTok "is an anti-LGBTQ+ extremist social media account run by Chaya Raichik" in a January 2023 blog post on its website.
Alejandra Caraballo, a radical transvestite and Harvard Law School clinical instructor who testified before the House Oversight and Reform Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties in December, wrote on X, "The @ADL are a bunch of f**king cowards caving to this terrorist," reported LGBTQNation.
"They just set an example that any extremist can just publicly threaten them and they’ll cave like cowards. It will completely undermine the credibility and legitimacy of their work on tracking and documenting extremism," continued Caraballo.
Trans activist Alejandra Caraballo is seething that the ADL removed LoTT from their “Glossary of Extremism.” He then calls me a “terrorist.”

This is the same person who publicly called to “accost” Supreme Court Justices.

Cry harder Alejandro!— (@)
LGBTQNation also appeared unable to contain its fury, accusing Raichik of "stochastic terrorism against LGBTQ+-affirming institutions, adding that her "account has echoed right-wing claims of LGBTQ+ people and allies 'indoctrinating,' 'grooming,' and 'sexualizing' kids — rhetoric that leads to violence against queer people and their allies."
Right Wing Cope, a popular anti-conservative and pro-LGBT account on X, and various others havedenounced the ADL for "absolutely cowardly behavior."
Raichik's first major television interview after being doxxed was with Tucker Carlson, whom she told, "The LGBTQ community has become this cult and it's so captivating, and it pulls people in so strongly, unlike anything we've ever seen. ... And they brainwash people to join and they convince them of all of these things, and it's really, really hard to get out of it.”

The Marie Keating Foundation has claimed that women "assigned male at birth" have a prostate. Such terminology, which is employed by the proponents of radical, leftist gender ideology, refers to a man who identifies as a woman.
"Prostate cancer awareness is important to everyone born with a prostate. Men & those born male or assigned male at birth. A woman who was assigned male at birth has a prostate. We are highlighting that everyone with a prostate needs to get their PSA checked," tweeted the Marie Keating Foundation, which describes itself as among "the leading voices in Ireland for cancer prevention, awareness and support."
Libs of TikTok creator Chaya Raichik responded to the absurd post by pointing out the obvious. "Only men have prostates. Thank you for coming to my science lesson," she wrote.
— (@)
Others also pointed out that only men have a prostate.
"The word you were looking for is just Men. Men have a prostate. Women do not have a prostate. If you have a prostate you are a man. This is not complicated," someone declared.
The tweet from the Marie Keating Foundation was part of a thread. The first post in the thread included a picture of an individual and read, "Denise Breen tells us why it’s important that not just men over 40 should be aware of #prostatecancer. We are so grateful to Denise for sharing her story and support."
Another tweet in the thread read, "We will not respond to hate speech or discrimination. Cancer does not discriminate and we are here for EVERYONE and every step of a cancer journey. Early detection is key in every community and this can only be achieved by including a diverse range of experiences and journeys."

Libs of TikTok creator Chaya Raichik trolled the Washington Post's Taylor Lorenz when the media figure reached out to request a comment. Raichik publicly shared screenshots of the exchange.
"Hi Chaya, I'm doing a story on Twitter's monetization program for creators. Did you receive any payout from Twitter? I noticed that you haven't posted about it. Is that because you weren't invited to participate?" Lorenz asked.
"Please include my full comment: 'It's none of your business,'" Raichik replied.
Twitter is paying some users big bucks due to an ad revenue sharing program.
"You've bragged about monetization previously on other platforms, were you not included in Musk's group? Has your relationship with Twitter soured?" Lorenz asked.
Raichik responded by sarcastically declaring that she has been secretly dating Elon Musk.
"My relationship with Twitter has not soured. In fact, it's thriving! Elon and I are actually dating. Please don't tell anyone because we're keeping it quiet. You have a name for being very trustworthy and honest so I know I can trust you with this information," Raichik replied.
When Taylor Lorenz pressed the matter of whether Raichik is earning money from Twitter's program, Raichik replied, "I'm writing a story on people who suffer from Elon Derangement Syndrome and refused to pay for a blue check and/or took a lot of their content off Twitter. I'm curious if they have any regrets now that they're seeing creators get massive cash payouts. Can you give a comment as I believe you fit this category?" Raichik wrote.
"No," Lorenz responded.
Musk, who had been tagged in the post that features screenshots of the exchange, replied with laughing emojis.
