Radical climate activism is causing toxic hysteria. Here’s how to stop it.

Climate change is no longer just a conversation about science; it’s become a belief system, and for some people, a dangerous one. And Lucy Biggers, former climate influencer for NowThis and producer of a viral 2018 AOC campaign video, knows this all too well.

“I was actually talking to someone yesterday and she was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I love your content. I’ve lost a friend to the climate movement,’” Biggers tells BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey on “Relatable.”

The girl lost to the climate movement went to a college in Maine and no longer wants to have kids for the sake of saving the environment.

“In this really culty climate movement that she was in, they suggest suicide. It's really bad. So there are people out there who are really, really radicalized. I don’t think people really understand the mindset. I was never that bad,” Biggers says.

In order to help those trapped in the climate cult, Biggers believes relaying a historical perspective to them could show at least a little of the light.

“Human life used to be toil and short and you would die young because of just how unsafe it was and difficult it was. And now, thanks to the technology of fossil fuels, we can have, you know, a beautiful set like this and conversation like this under lights and technology,” she tells Stuckey.

“We live such amazing lives that kings even in the 1700s would not have lived as good as us. And so, I think bringing in that perspective of, ‘Hey, we’re not in late-stage capitalism, 10 years away from dying, but look at these facts, look at how good we have it compared to our ancestors,’” she continues.

“Even for women, I think realizing in areas that don’t have access to fossil fuels, five hours a day could be spent collecting dung and wood to cook for your family. Fuel collection is how they spend, like that’s their job, 40 hours a week,” she says.

“Shifting some of this guilt into gratitude, I think goes so far,” she adds.

The climate cult is brainwashing your kids — and you’re paying for it

America’s education system is facing a growing list of challenges — from plummeting test scores and the lingering hangover from COVID-era remote classes to teacher shortages and mounting public frustration over gender ideology.

But take it from a former teacher: Another grave problem is haunting our classrooms. Climate extremists have infiltrated American schools, and they’re indoctrinating our children in radical ideology. It’s time the Department of Justice took action to stop it.

I worked for many years as a teacher and saw firsthand just how deeply rooted this climate ideology is in our classrooms.

Fortunately, they’ve taken the first step. In May, the Justice Department filed lawsuits against four states for allegedly funneling public funds into unconstitutional climate litigation. Attorney General Pam Bondi called the litigation “burdensome and ideologically motivated,” and she’s right. The troubling part is: It’s happening in our public school classrooms too.

If the Trump administration is serious about rooting out taxpayer-funded climate extremism, the next logical step is clear: Launch an investigation into the climate ideologues flooding our education system with fearmongering and pseudoscience.

Indoctrinated K-12 classrooms

Just look at what’s happening in New York City. In the summer of 2024, Columbia University partnered with NYC Public Schools to hold a four-day workshop for teachers called “Integrating Climate Education in N.Y.C. Public Schools.” The aim should be clear from the name: Teachers were guided on how to interweave climate hysteria into their lesson plans.

A reporter later visited a public school in the Bronx where a teacher was reading her students a book about flooding in Africa. “And what’s causing all these rains and storms and floods?” she asked. “Carbon,” an 8-year-old answered.

This isn’t isolated to New York. In 2020, New Jersey became the first state in the nation to mandate that climate change be taught at all grade levels. It begins in kindergarten, where even the lighthearted activity of dancing is used to “examine global issues, including climate change as a topic for dance.” And it’s integrated into every other school subject — from computer science to physical education.

Other states are working to incorporate climate change into their curricula. California’s Assembly Bill 285, passed in 2023, requires science teachers to instruct students beginning in the first grade “on the causes and effects of climate change, and on the methods to mitigate and adapt to climate change.”

This isn’t science; it’s political conditioning masquerading as curriculum.

Take it from me: I worked for many years as a teacher and saw firsthand just how deeply rooted this climate ideology is in our classrooms — and that was before state governments began passing their mandates. What I witnessed wasn’t education but indoctrination, and it proved very successful.

Radicalized universities

Later, I left K-12 to teach as a college professor, and what I found was troubling. My freshman students widely believed the world was going to end within their lifetimes and were emotionally paralyzed by it. They didn’t want to debate other students or hear the other side of the argument. Instead, out of anger, they wanted to shame and cancel those who thought differently.

Even the most milquetoast of pushback was met by my students with confusion and contempt. This is what happens when children are indoctrinated from a very young age.

The effects of climate brainwashing are so widespread that psychologists even have a term for it: climate anxiety. The New York Times recently profiled the case of a woman paralyzed by mundane activities, like eating nuts.

They came wrapped in plastic, often in layers of it, that she imagined leaving her house and traveling to a landfill, where it would remain through her lifetime and the lifetime of her children.

In 2021, the first study on climate anxiety was released. It found that young children all over the world had been affected. Of those surveyed, more than half reported feeling sad, anxious, angry, and guilty over the climate, while a full 75% said the future looked frightening.

Leading academic institutions like Yale and Harvard have since accepted that climate anxiety is inevitable and sought to provide therapy to their students. But this is like an arsonist claiming fires are inevitable and investing in more garden hoses. Climate anxiety isn’t inevitable; it’s a direct result of convincing our children that a made-up apocalypse is inevitable.

Root out climate hysteria

Teaching kids how to care for the environment is not wrong. I was part of a generation taught to recycle, respect nature, and preserve the land for future use. But today’s curriculum isn’t about stewardship — it’s about shame. It’s not about science — it’s about fear.

It’s time for the Justice Department to broaden its investigation into the public education bureaucracies, state curriculum mandates, and activist organizations pushing climate panic in the classroom. Climate extremism shouldn’t be government policy, and it certainly shouldn’t be taught as gospel to our kids.

Let’s stop the fear, stop the brainwashing, and bring common sense back to the classroom.

Climate warrior Leonardo DiCaprio slammed as hypocrite for fleeing LA fires in private jet

Hollywood’s number one climate change apologist, Leonardo DiCaprio, is being condemned as a hypocrite — and not for the first time.

The three-time Golden Globe winner loves to assume the role of eco-warrior when he gives scathing speeches at climate conventions and donates some of his millions to environmental causes. Just don’t ask him to change his personal lifestyle.

For example, don’t ask him to give up his private jet, helicopter, or yacht.

Back in 2023, DiCaprio was lambasted for flying his private helicopter from his yacht to lunch in the Italian countryside. Critics condemned the celeb’s use of these petroleum guzzlers to travel short distances for frivolous reasons when he is known for criticizing others for doing the same thing.

Now, the Titanic star is embroiled in another scandal related to his climate hypocrisy.

“Leonardo DiCaprio and his 12-year-old girlfriend arrived in Mexico in a private jet yesterday,” says Pat Gray.

DiCaprio, 50, and his Italian model girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, who is actually 26 years old, fled the Los Angeles wildfires to Mexico in a private jet, once again sparking outrage, as the act clearly contradicts DiCaprio’s stance on climate change.

“I don't begrudge anybody flying private jets. What's irritating is when you lecture the rest of us about climate change, and then you jet off in a private jet with your girlfriend to Mexico while more than a 100,000 people are being evacuated,” says Pat.

“Given Leo's reputation ... as an environmental advocate, it raised eyebrows that he would take a private jet during such a natural disaster affecting his own community. ... Dressed in a casual hoodie and baseball cap, he appeared unfazed as he stepped off the plane alongside Ceretti,” he says, reading from a Daily Mail article.

'Go back to drama school!' Climate activists interrupt Broadway play but get yelled at by 'Sopranos' Michael Imperioli

Multiple protesters interrupted a Broadway show with messages about rising sea water and fossil fuels, prompting responses from both of the show's stars, Michael Imperioli and Jeremy Strong.

The show called "An Enemy of the People," which sometimes involves audience participation, was halted by the activists causing confusion among ticket holders. Three protesters shouted slogans such as, "No theater on a dead planet!" with T-shirts sporting the same phrase.

One activist even walked onto the stage and started a diatribe.

"I am very, very sorry to interrupt your night and this amazing performance. I am a theater artist," the man began. "The oceans are rising. It will swallow this city and this entire theater whole. I am putting my career on the line because we are not doing anything about this crisis. The water is coming for us!" he added, according to the New York Post.

"Sopranos" star Imperioli would be heard shouting, "Go back to drama school!"

Strong, from the show "Succession," reportedly remained in character and said, "Let them speak."

3/ Activists are facing harsh sentences for nonviolent protest. Joanna Smith and Tim Martin protested at the National Gallery of Art to highlight the climate crisis. They face up to ten years in prison and fines of $500,000.

In another clip posted to X, Imperioli is seen walking off stage as he tells one of the protesters, "You are disgusting!"

"Liar, liar!" he added as he walked out of frame.

"Governments have failed us! They will do anything to stop you from learning the truth!" another climate alarmist yelled.

Then, Strong interjected and started yelling back, "You've got to go, you've got to go!" which sparked applause from the audience.

Activist group Extinction Rebellion took credit for the interruption, citing that "Rebels disrupted #AnEnemyOfThePeople on #Broadway. #Climate activists aren't the enemy; it's fossil fuel criminals like Exxon & Chevron. If we don’t #EndFossilFuels now, there'll be #NoTheatreOnADeadPlanet."

This was followed by a press release justifying their actions, which was written as if the group was promoting a product rather than a public nuisance.

"This action follows a tradition of nonviolent civil disobedience in arts and theater, such as Parisian students’ occupation of the Odéon theatre in 1968 — not to mention theater itself as a powerful medium for provoking social change," the group wrote.

"Just as 'An Enemy of the People' demands people act, Extinction Rebellion too is demanding immediate action ... Extinction Rebellion demands the government tell the truth by declaring a climate and ecological emergency, halt biodiversity loss and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2025. These demands reflect the urgency of the existential crisis that we’re facing."

— (@)

Strangely, one activist made a point of specifically saying that she was "not protesting theater" and not "protesting the emissions that brought spectators to get here." However, she still claimed the interruption was the group's "last resort to draw public attention to the climate emergency."

Radical climate change activists hurl soup at Mona Lisa painting in Louvre, critics demand police 'lock them up'

Radical climate change activists hurled soup at the Mona Lisa painting inside the Louvre Museum in Paris on Sunday.

Video shows the moment that two women approach the Mona Lisa painting and then douse Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece with soup.

The women reportedly shouted, "What’s the most important thing? Art, or right to a healthy and sustainable food?"

Louvre employees were seen on video placing black panels in front of the Italian Renaissance masterpiece and asking visitors to evacuate the room.

No damage was done to the classic piece of art since it rests behind bulletproof glass.

"Two activists from the environmental movement ‘Riposte Alimentaire’ sprayed pumpkin soup on the armored glass protecting the Mona Lisa, this Sunday, January 28, 2024, around 10 a.m. (4 a.m. ET)," the Louvre Museum said in a statement. "The Louvre’s security staff immediately intervened."

Paris police said two individuals were arrested following the incident.

The radical environmental group Riposte Alimentaire – which roughly translates to "Food Response" – took credit for the soup attack on the Mona Lisa painting and demanded "the integration of food into the general social security system."

The climate change group said on the X social media platform, "Our agricultural and food system also has extremely worrying environmental consequences."

"This violence weighing on our food and on those who allow it has clear causes: the agri-food industry increased its margins to 48% last year, and its excessive profits are estimated to be responsible for two-thirds of inflation," the ecological group claimed. "Agriculture is responsible for 21% of national greenhouse gas emissions and contributes greatly to the deterioration of our biodiversity and the impoverishment of soils, due to the massive use of inputs."

The group identified the women as 24-year-old Sasha and 63-year-old Marie-Juliette.

The Mona Lisa is arguably one of the most famous and iconic paintings in the world – drawing millions of visitors every year. Leonardo da Vinci created the artwork between 1503 and 1506.

Numerous online commentators were outraged at the attempted vandalism of the iconic painting and called on authorities to throw the book at the radical climate change activists.

The Libs of TikTok account: "Climate activists threw soup at the Mona Lisa in the Louvre Museum today. Employees responded by holding up curtains to block visitors from seeing. These climate t*rr*rists need to be arrested and given long prison sentences. This needs to stop."

Journalist Tom Fitton: "Left-wing terrorists (or, as media calls them, "climate activists") attack the "Mona Lisa." Another reminder the Left are enemies of history, memory, and beauty.

Women's sports activist Riley Gaines: "Ah, yes. Defacing the Mona Lisa with soup will immediately make everyone stop burning & developing fossil fuels. Great idea Lock them up."

The Culture Critic account: "Soup being thrown at the Mona Lisa by climate zealots. Security just sits idly and watches. Once again, the sad truth is that this is being ALLOWED to happen by the gallery. This has happened enough times now for there to be a rapid response protocol – yet nothing ever stops them. These institutions are no longer fit to be custodians of these masterpieces."

Journalist Rita Panahi: "How are these climate cultists getting so close to masterpieces armed with paint, soup, hammers, etc? This time they’ve attacked the Mona Lisa. Jail."

Writer Andrew Doyle: "Environmental activists at the Louvre have sprayed the Mona Lisa with soup. It’s no coincidence that those who are disgusted by humanity wish to desecrate its greatest achievements."

The @Amuse account: "Destroying the Mona Lisa will have no impact on the global average temperature."

Levin: Climate change radicals are the ACTUAL 'science deniers'

Climate change isn’t the threat its believers make it out to be.

According to Mark Levin, it’s actually “a religion going back hundreds of thousands of years” in which followers “pray to the weather gods.”

“The idea that we have any effect on this massive planet is a lie,” he adds.

Not to mention, those who worship the religion of science claim that the earth “is worse than ever before” — but there’s no way of verifying that.

“How do we know that? They haven’t been keeping statistics till the mid-1800s,” Levin says.

“The planet’s 3.5 billion years old.”

In fact, the weatherman not only gets his weather predictions wrong more often than right, the forecasters don’t even claim to know the future weather after 10 days.

“What’s the weather in 12 days? I don’t know, but we just know we’re destroying the planet,” Levin mocks.

He notes that the left’s obsession with lowering carbon is ridiculous as well.

“Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant. It’s never been a pollutant. It cannot be a pollutant. Why? Because it’s what’s necessary for plant life to live on the planet Earth. Carbon dioxide for plants is what oxygen is for human beings,” he explains.

While it’s all nonsense, there’s a reason for the left’s madness.

“There’s been this effort to control carbon dioxide, which means control your life. To destroy cars, the combustion engine, fossil fuels, single-family homes, to destroy livestock,” Levin says.

“In other words, to fundamentally alter how a free people live and choose to live.”
