As an anti-gun rights activist, Baldwin has a habit of demonizing the gun in criminal shootings instead of the person pulling the trigger.

Megyn Kelly savagely celebrates ouster of 'the most racist person in all of television': 'Joy, oh, joy!'

Megyn Kelly savagely celebrated MSNBC's decision to fire host Tiffany Cross, whom Kelly described as "the most racist person in all of television."

What is the background?

Last week, MSNBC abruptly parted ways with Cross, who hosted a weekend TV show on the network.

A source told Fox News that MSNBC executives quickly canned Cross upon the conclusion of her two-year contract over "repeated bad behavior on and off-air" and "bad judgement." Cross repeatedly generated headlines for controversial segments that focused on racism and for tarnishing anyone not aligned with her progressive agenda.

Variety similarly reported that Cross' relationship with executives had become "frayed."

What did Kelly say?

On her SiriusXM radio show on Friday, Kelly proclaimed, "Joy, oh, joy! Tiffany Cross is gone!"

"I tip my hat to MSNBC and NBC for doing the right thing, because she was — she was — the most racist person in television," Kelly declared.

Kelly then provided examples of Cross' outrageous opinions, explaining:

  • "She was upset when Tua [Tagovailoa] got hurt, the concussion thing, which I was upset with, too. But she took it racial. She was like, 'All these white owners making these black players—' Tua’s not black, and the coach was not white."
  • "She blasted Republican members of Congress as white supremacists a day after the Wisconsin jury acquitted [Kyle] Rittenhouse. Somehow, that made the Republican members of Congress white supremacists."
  • "She called Rittenhouse a 'little murderous white supremacist.'"
  • "She said we should all be concerned about white replacement, 'It is, after all, a very threat to our survival here — white replacement can strangle culture.' I thought we weren't suppose to be talking about 'replacement theories'? I thought that was racist."

After Kelly read one more example of Cross' commentary — in which she suggested that "white women" who participated in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots engaged in behavior close to "domestic terrorism" — conservative radio host Dana Loesch tore into Cross.

"Her whole show, if memory serves, the content is essentially a YouTube comment section," Loesch said. "That's her whole content: just one angry YouTube comment section diatribe.

"I can see why, Megyn, it didn’t offer much value to the network," Loesch mocked.

Anything else?

After Kelly criticized Cross last month — calling her a "dumba**" — Cross responded by telling Kelly to "move on with your life" because she "is not going to claw her way back to social relevance on my show."

Clearly, Kelly got the last laugh.

Keith Olbermann tells Dana Loesch, 'To put you Conservatives out of the School Children Killing business, America is going to have to take all your f[***]ing long guns'

Keith Olbermann declared in a tweet on Wednesday that "To put ... Conservatives out of the School Children Killing business," the U.S. needs to confiscate their long guns.

Olbermann made the comment in the wake of a deadly shooting that was perpetrated at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas on Tuesday — he issued the tweet in response to a post from conservative radio host and Second Amendment advocate Dana Loesch, who had tweeted, "The murderer reportedly purchased two rifles and passed a background check. Universal Background Checks would not have stopped this. It’s not a new system, it’s just an expansion of the existing troubled system."

Olbermann replied, "You're right Loesch. The rules ARE inadequate. To put you Conservatives out of the School Children Killing business, America is going to have to take all your f[***]ing long guns."

Loesch responded, "Keith, if you think I'm in the Planned Parenthood business of killing children I dare your right now to call the authorities and have me arrested -- otherwise you're culpable. I'm in Dallas. Do it now. Please record the call and post it for further attention for yourself."

In a post on Tuesday, Olbermann claimed that Americans do not have a constitutional right to firearm ownership.

"The word OWN is not included in the 2nd Amendment. Nor is there any word included that is a synonym for 'own,' even though the Constitution and the Bill of Rights form, in large part, a property contract. There is no Constitutional right to own guns," he tweeted.

The text of the Second Amendment reads, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

"Gun violence in America is the Republicans' doing. MAKE THEM OWN IT," Olbermann declared in a tweet on Wednesday.

Earlier this month, Olbermann took a dig at a homeschooling mom on Mother's Day. "Imagine putting 'homeschool mom' in your bio and not understanding you've just ruined the lives of five innocent children," he tweeted in a reference to Bethany Mandel.

Last year, Olbermann commented on a photo of Sen. Mitt Romney's family by writing, "Somebody gift these people some vasectomies."

Dana Loesch demolishes 'clown show' prosecutor who broke firearm safety rules, pointed rifle with finger on trigger

Leading Second Amendment advocate Dana Loesch, the former spokeswoman of the National Rifle Association, took to task on Monday the Kenosha County prosecutors in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial.

What happened?

During closing arguments on Monday, lead prosecutor Thomas Binger made several questionable remarks and decisions.

Binger referred to Kenosha rioters as a "crowd of heroes" while describing Rittenhouse as an "active shooter." He also erroneously claimed Rittenhouse cannot claim self-defense because he was armed, and he later downplayed the actions of Joseph Rosenbaum.

"He tipped over a Porta-Potty, that had no one in it. He swung a chain. He lit a metal garbage dumpster on fire. Oh, and there's this empty wooden flatbed trailer that they pulled out in the middle of the road and they tipped it over to stop some BearCats, and they lit it on fire," Binger said. "Oh, and he said some bad words. He said the N-word. Tsk tsk tsk."

What generated the most backlash, however, was Binger's clear disregard for firearm safety.

During closing arguments, Binger shouldered an AR-15 and placed his finger on the trigger with the bolt closed, meaning it was not evident that the the chamber was empty.

What did Loesch say?

During an interview on Fox News, Loesch observed the tragic and dangerous irony of Binger's actions.

Binger is a prosecutor alleging Rittenhouse acted recklessly and showed disregard for human life. Yet he recklessly abandoned basic firearm rules, which, as the Alec Baldwin tragedy showed recently, often has deadly consequences.

"After some of the arguments that I have heard from what I'm calling 'Brennan & Dale of the Step Brothers law firm,' I mean, it's insane," Loesch said. "He flags the entire courtroom and jury, and to be honest I'm actually kind of surprised that a bailiff, or I don't know if they had state trooper in the courtroom, didn't intervene at that moment."

"Finger on the trigger, didn't even have it shouldered properly," Loesch continued. "He went to the Alec Baldwin school of firearms handling, apparently."

After calling the prosecution a "clown show," noting that prosecutors misunderstood basic firearm facts, Loesch said "self-defense is on trial" in the Rittenhouse case.

"The state is trying to plant the seed of reasonable doubt. That's all they're trying to do is make it look like [Rittenhouse] was somehow reckless," Loesch said. "Well, [Rittenhouse] demonstrated better firearms discipline than either of those two clown shows in the courtroom."

Loesch also knocked the prosecution for describing Rittenhouse as an "active shooter." She said such a characterization is "offensive" and "actually a diminishment of mass casualty incidents."
