Media Ignore Waukesha Parade Murder Trial Because It Exposes Democrats’ Deadly Criminal Justice Reform Policies

Darrell Brooks is the personification of the failure of leftist criminal justice reform, and to cover his trial would have been to acknowledge this devastating truth.

'Burn in hell, you piece of s**t!' Family member of Waukesha Christmas parade victim ejected from courtroom after losing it on mass murderer Darrell Brooks

The three-week long trial for mass murderer Darrell Brooks was punctuated by his angry outbursts. Today, it was the victims' families turn.

As Judge Jennifer Dorow read Brooks his guilty verdict, a relative of one of the Waukesha Christmas parade victims roared out with righteous fury, suggesting that an eternal prison awaits the killer once he's finished his life rotting behind bars.

The man can be heard on video saying, "Burn in hell, you piece of s**t!"

Dorow quickly responded: "You are to be removed right now. You will not to do that."

Although the man was quickly taken out of the courtroom, his sentiment remained.

On November 21, 2021, Darrell Brooks intentionally drove his SUV through a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, striking 68 people and killing six.

Wednesday morning, the jury deliberated for three hours and 15 minutes before reaching its verdict. It found Brooks guilty of all charges (76), including six counts of intentional first-degree murder.

CBS Chicago reported that each murder count carries a mandatory life sentence.

During the trial, Brooks had taken off his clothing, pretended to be someone else, and built a fort out of boxes. Upon hearing the verdict, his theatrics came to an end. After learning he would spend the rest of his life in jail, and after being reminded there might be a hell, he hung his head.

'This man right now is having a stare down with me': Judge in Waukesha Christmas parade massacre trial says suspect 'makes me scared,' calls for break

The judge in the Waukesha Christmas parade massacre trial called for a break in Friday's proceedings, saying suspect Darrell Brooks was staring her down, pounding his fist, and making her afraid, WLUK-TV reported.

What are the details?

Brooks — who is representing himself — continually interrupted prosecuting attorneys, and Judge Jennifer Dorow ran out of patience, the station said.

"I need to take a break," Dorow said. "This man right now is having a stare down with me. It's very disrespectful. He pounded his fist. Frankly, it makes me scared. And we're taking a break."

Just prior to Dorow's announcement of the break, a prosecuting attorney was trying to speak and Brooks continually interrupted her.

"One more interruption, and you're gonna be removed to the next courtroom," Dorow told Brooks.

"That's what you wanna do anyway," Brooks replied.

"It's not what I wanna do," the judge replied, again warning Brooks to refrain from interrupting.

When the attorney spoke of Brooks' "seven prior criminal convictions," Brooks apparently pounded his fist on a table. Afterward a camera focused on Brooks, who was staring angrily at the judge.

'This court ain't got no integrity!'

Dorow also said Brooks was purposely disrupting the proceedings to draw out the trial, WLUK reported, and Brooks replied that he felt extremely disrespected by that.

Interestingly when Brooks asked one of his witnesses — a parade attendee — if he saw who was driving the red SUV through the parade, the man replied, "Yeah, you're standing right there," the station said.

When Dorow said Brooks was trying to cast doubt on the integrity of the court, Brooks shouted, "This court ain't got no integrity!" WLUK reported.

Anything else?

The parade massacre took place November 21, 2021, when the driver of a red Ford Escape plowed through the crowd on the parade route, killing six and injuring nearly 50. Among those badly hurt were 18 children. Among those killed was 8-year-old Jackson Sparks, who had been marching in the parade with his baseball team.

If convicted for any of the six murder charges against him, Brooks would get life in prison, WLUK said, adding that he faces 70 other charges as well.

Why Violence Is An Inevitable Outcome Of Critical Race Theory

For true believers of critical race theory, America is too steeped in racial oppression to be changed from within. Destruction is the only alternative.

Waukesha residents feel abandoned after parade terror attack: Media doesn't care because it doesn't fit its leftist narrative

Victims of the Waukesha, Wisconsin, Christmas parade terror attack say that the media has largely forgotten them because the attack didn't fit the buzzy media narrative, the New York Post reports.

What's a brief history here?

Authorities arrested suspect Darrell Brooks after he reportedly drove his SUV into crowds of people at the Waukesha Christmas parade.

The attack took the lives of at least six people including an 8-year-old boy and injured dozens more.

Brooks — a hardened, violent career criminal and registered sex offender whose Facebook page was once rife with anti-white sentiment — faces six counts of intentional homicide in connection with the attack.

Here are the witnesses' stories

Sharon Millard, a 68-year-old performer with the Dancing Grannies, said that she witnessed her friend, 79-year-old Virginia Sorenson, "tossed up in the air like a rag doll" after being struck by Brooks' red SUV.

"No one ever saw him coming," she recalled. "He was going so fast. All I knew is I saw Ginny fly up in the air and land in front of me. I saw her curled up and blood was coming out of her like a river. I was standing in blood.”

Millard added that myriad witnesses saw Brooks drive down the parade route in a zig-zag pattern — as if to ensure maximum carnage — and aim "to get as many people as he could."

“They should put him in a room and let us have a go at him," the 68-year-old said. "I think he deserves the death penalty. He will burn in hell.”

Sorenson died as a result of the attack.

“I can’t stop seeing Ginny dying in front of me in my head,” Millard said. “I know I’m not the only one who was affected like that. I can’t imagine us getting over this.”

Two other Dancing Grannies — 71-year-old LeAnna Owen and 52-year-old Tamara Durand — were also killed during the parade.

William Hospel, the 81-year-old husband of a Dancing Granny, was killed, as was 52-year-old Jane Kulich and 8-year-old Jackson Sparks.

Crystal Ruloff, another bystander, said that she'll never forget the terror that unfolded that fateful day.

“It was absolutely horrible,” Ruloff said. “There were bodies everywhere. I felt like I was watching something on TV and it wasn’t real. This kind of thing doesn’t happen in Waukesha.”

Angry outcry

Waukesha resident and State Rep. Cindi Duchow (R) told the outlet that there are children injured so grievously during the attack that they have to learn how to walk all over again.

“We’ve got six people dead and teenagers so badly injured they will have to learn to walk again — at Christmas," Duchow said. “Because this was a black guy who did it, the media doesn’t want to cover it. They were all over the Rittenhouse case because that kid was white. Race doesn’t matter to us here, but the media makes everything about race.”

State Sen. Chris Kapenga (R) also blasted what he said was the media's narrative surrounding the events, dropping the story and its victims like a hot potato once finding out that the suspect is a hardened criminal who isn't white.

“The left was so sympathetic to Kyle Rittenhouse’s victims but they’re not saying a word about the victims here,” Kapenga spat. “It’s not fitting their narrative. The reality is that this person [Brooks] is pure evil and the left’s soft-on-crime policies are blowing up in their face. But they want to ignore it and hope it goes away. Meanwhile the parents of the 8-year-old boy killed at the parade are having to face their first Christmas without him.”

Waukesha Mayor Shawn Reilly said that it's going to take a long time for the community to heal following the inexplicable tragedy.

“It’s taken away some of our innocence,” Reilly admitted. “I don’t think we’ll ever feel the same about going to the parade. We feel great sadness for those affected. Some of the injuries were terrible. A lot of people were run over by cars so there are a lot of head injuries. A lot saw the carnage right in front of them. We are going to be dealing with this for a long time.”

Milwaukee District Attorney John Chisholm is more interested in making excuses for what happened in Waukesha than in making sure nothing like that ever happens in our state again.

As More Victims Fight For Their Lives, Did Corporate Media Already Forget The Waukesha Murders?

The Waukesha murders don't do anything to further the left-wing narrative, so the media have decided to either downplay the crime or forget it altogether.

Whitlock: Here’s why Darrell Brooks and the Waukesha massacre must be politicized

Wisconsin U.S. Sens Tammy Baldwin (D) and Ron Johnson (R) released a joint statement Saturday asking outside groups to stop exploiting the Waukesha massacre for political purposes.

“It has come to our attention that outside individuals or groups may attempt to exploit the tragedy that occurred last Sunday in Waukesha for their own political purposes,” the letter started. “As the U.S. Senators representing Wisconsin, one from each political party, we are asking anyone considering such action to cease and desist.”

According to media reports, the statement was crafted because some conservative pundits blasted CNN, MSNBC, and other left-leaning media outlets for downplaying the story and/or rapidly moving on from it.

The bipartisan statement is as pointless as asking infamous bank robber John Dillinger to stop using a Colt .32 pistol. The style of gun didn’t make Dillinger an unrepentant criminal. His immorality did. America’s fight for political power has descended to a seemingly unprecedented level of immorality. Ambitious politicians quickly turn human tragedy into political capital.

The Baldwin-Johnson statement is not only pointless. It’s clueless. It epitomizes the kind of cowardly leadership pervasive in American politics. The statement is a virtue signal that pretends diplomacy is the antidote for wickedness, that peace is possible with people who have no regard for objective truth.

Why should Waukesha be exempt from the political examination lens applied to everything else? Would ignoring the political implications of the alleged crimes of Darrell E. Brooks jump-start the cleansing of American politics?

I think just the opposite. Failing to fully publicly explore and explain what drove Brooks to commit mass murder would only allow the evil to further metastasize. Declining to contrast corporate media’s handling of the Waukesha massacre with Charlottesville, Jan. 6, and the Rittenhouse trial provides unwarranted and unhealthy cover to the racists sowing American anarchy and division.

The alleged sins and radicalization of Darrell Brooks must be scrutinized thoroughly, aggressively, and publicly. This isn’t about settling a score between conservatives and liberals. It’s about assessing the cost of mainstreaming and normalizing critical race theory and gangsta rap culture across our primary communication and information platforms.

Darrell Brooks appears to be a direct reflection of what the American zeitgeist (spirit of the time) says a black man should be — angry, emotional, profane, violent, racist, and criminal.

A racist would argue that Brooks was born this way. A liberal would argue that poverty and anti-black racism molded Brooks into a monster. Having been born black and poor in America, I would argue that the zeitgeist has maintained a culture that rewards black men for exhibiting emotion, anger, violence, profanity, racism, and criminality. Corporate media, Hollywood, the music industry, and social media apps are the maintainers of this intentionally crippling culture.

It’s why left-leaning news platforms, Hollywood movies, commercial rap music, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook smear any black men who criticize the self-destructive tenets of “black culture” as coons, Uncle Toms, and sellouts.

Is there a particular political party in bed with CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, Hollywood, the rap music industry, and Big Tech? Is there a particular political party that believes its ideology defines blackness?

The Waukesha massacre needs to be politicized. The racist political strategy of the Democratic Party helped radicalize Darrell Brooks. The Democrats told black people a government check could replace the black father. The Democrats tell black people the matriarchy is better than the patriarchy. The Democrats tell black people to see themselves as perpetual victims of an irredeemably racist country rather than as conquerors of America’s sins. The Democrats tell black people to abandon our religious beliefs in pursuit of political power. The Democrats convinced black people that obedience to Barack Obama could do more for us than obedience to God. The Democrats tell us to treat skin color and sexual preference as idols more important than our identity in Christ.

Darrell Brooks’ social media posts read like a Black Lives Matter diary. He hated the police. He called for violence against white people. He praised Hitler. He bragged about being a pimp. As a rapper, under the name Mathboi Fly, he promoted drug use and criminality.

You ain’t Democrat if you ain’t Darrell Brooks.

It makes sense for corporate media and the other gatekeepers of “black culture” to bury the Waukesha massacre. They want to avoid accountability for what they created. They can’t explain why a black man mowing down and killing six white people in Waukesha is less sinister and racist than a white man killing one white woman in Charlottesville. They can’t explain their outrage and animus toward Kyle Rittenhouse and indifference to Darrell Brooks. They can’t explain immediately casting everyone involved with January 6 as a white supremacists while searching for additional proof of Brooks’ bigotry.

I get the reluctance of the gatekeepers to politicize the Waukesha massacre. I understand Tammy Baldwin’s motivation, too. She’s a Democrat. Her party’s entire strategy is predicated on racial deception, hypocrisy, and division.

Ron Johnson is a fool and a coward. Like most politicians, he’s unwilling to stand on truth. Initially he had no problem attacking the duplicity of the left as it related to Waukesha. He folded. He foolishly thinks there’s value in making peace with people who believe men can get pregnant and men and women armed with flagpoles tried to overthrow the government.

There will be no peace until truth is restored.
