‘I’m voting for Trump’: Dave Portnoy RIPS Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party

Dave Portnoy, the man famous for Barstool Sports, hails from a Democratic family. However, that’s not stopping him from supporting former President Donald Trump.

“I think that what the Democrats have done is far worse than really anything Trump has done — like in terms of not allowing a primary. To me, that’s crazy,” Portnoy said in a recent stream. “I’m somebody who if I liked a candidate on the Democratic side, I could have potentially voted for that person.”

Regarding Biden’s possible mental decline, Portnoy notes that “Kamala has known that, and she just lied about it forever.”

“She never got a vote. Like, I don’t know, you can say whatever you want about Trump, he won the Republican nomination by a landslide. Fair and square. And Kamala did not,” he explains.

But that’s not his only problem with Kamala.

“Some of her past statements for me are just nutty, and I don’t like what’s happened in a lot of Democratic states,” he says. “I hope if she’s elected, like California and New York, those don’t become what happens in the United States.”

In another appearance on Fox Business, Portnoy confirmed that he’s “voting for Trump.”

“I wouldn’t have voted for him in the Republican primaries, but I’m voting for him now,” Portnoy explained.

Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” is happy to hear it.

“It all just seems so sleazy, and it’s bringing together a heck of a new coalition of people,” he says.

Dave Portnoy DESTROYS women’s basketball after Caitlin Clark Olympic snub

Indiana Fever’s star Caitlin Clark was snubbed when it came to getting a spot on the USA Basketball Women’s Olympic team, which has left fans asking why.

Dave Portnoy doesn’t know either, and he isn’t happy about it.

“If you don’t think Caitlin Clark talent-wise belongs on this team, even though she does put up like 37 to 13, like the most points in the history of the league for a rookie,” Portnoy rants, annoyed.

While he calls himself a “pro-women guy,” he notes that these specific women “complain and they cry about equal rights, equal wages.”

“Hey, dummies, for the first time in the history of basketball you have arguably a player who is the most popular player in the world. You could argue right now Caitlin Clark is the most talked about, discussed, most popular, most puts asses in the seats, single basketball player in the world,” he continues.

“And you leave her off the Olympics team?” he asks. “It’s not only a showcase for her, it’s for the sport and the other WNBA players who are on this team.”

“How dumb, how brain dead, how idiotic do the people running this thing have to be?” he asks, adding, “I don’t ever want to hear you complain about flying commercial or not getting salaries or this, that. You’re too dumb. You’re too dumb. You have a cash cow.”

“Women’s basketball would be like the number one thing people watch with Caitlin Clark. As it is, I’d rather watch grass grow, I’d rather watch paint dry, I’d rather watch dirt just be moved around because Caitlin Clark’s not on the team,” he continues. “Whoever did this, honestly, hey, take your brain, put it in a museum, and study it for how dumb you are.”

Dave Rubin is nearly speechless.

“I’m not sure I can add much to that. He’s making every point,” Rubin says, impressed.

'F**k YouTube': Barstool Sports takes in $1.2 million in pay-per-views after YouTube demands censorship of content

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy commented that the company garnered approximately 124,000 pay-per-view buys on its own platform after pulling the show from YouTube. The Google-owned site had demanded that the company censor content that was deemed "harassment."

At the end of November 2023, the company's fan-favorite reality show "Surviving Barstool" featured an episode that YouTube said contained scenes of a cast member engaging in "harassment" that "threatens an identifiable individual," according to a screenshot shared by Portnoy on X.

YouTube appeared to tell Barstool that it needed to delete the video and upload a different version of the episode that edited or removed the "violative scenes," or else the company would receive a Community Guidelines strike. According to the same screenshot, YouTube also wanted Barstool to edit or remove "vulgar language" and "excessive profanity" or else an age restriction would be placed on the video.

Community Guidelines strikes can restrict a YouTube channel's ability to post, livestream, or use the platform all together. An age restriction forces users to sign in on YouTube with an account of appropriate age in order to watch.

"We pulled the episodes. ... I'm not changing the f**king episodes," Portnoy said in response. "F**k YouTube if they're not actually smart enough to watch a reality show and realize what's going on," he added.

The content in question focused on broadcaster Kirk Minihane, who jokingly threatened to blow up the house of the reality show's host. Minihane's comments were in response to the host saying "anything goes" in terms of the show's rules, with Minihane responding that he would attack his house since there are no rules.

Despite the host laughing while the comments were made, YouTube still allegedly determined the remarks to be worthy of censorship.

Portnoy announced the following day that the reality show would indeed be moved to Barstool TV, the company's own streaming site, available for $9.99. Within five days the total number of pay-per-view orders for the show surpassed 100,000.

"Thank you to everybody who bought and continues to buy #survivingbarstool we really do have the best fans on earth," Portnoy wrote on X.

The owner remarked on a December 13, 2023, video from Barstool's Chicago headquarters that the program had amassed approximately 124,000 buys, totaling $1.24 million.

The company managed the impressive numbers despite an employee accidentally spoiling the last episode of the show by revealing the final three contestants the morning before the finale was set to air.
