Karine Jean-Pierre throws TEMPER TANTRUM over questions about Biden's health

The White House press corps is not happy with Karine Jean-Pierre — as she just can’t seem to stop repeating lies from the White House regarding the president’s health.

“I never answered the question incorrectly,” Jean-Pierre responded to a frustrated member of the press. “That is not true. I was asked about a medical exam, I was asked about a physical, that was in the line of questions that I answered.”

“And I said ‘No, he did not have a medical exam,’ and I still stand by that. Matter of fact, the president still stands by that. He had a verbal check-in, that is something that the president has a couple times a week,” Jean-Pierre continued.

When another reporter asked the name of the doctor with whom President Biden has weekly check-ins, Jean-Pierre got angrier.

“I am telling you right now that I am not sharing, confirming names from here. It is a security reason. I am not going to do that Ed, it doesn’t matter how hard you push me, it doesn’t matter how angry you get with me. I’m not going to confirm a name,” she said.

Pat Gray is confused as to why it’s a “security reason.”

“If she mentions the guy's name, if it’s Dr. Cannard, does that mean people are going to try to kill him? Is that what the security issue is? Are you endangering his life by saying, ‘Yeah, he treated the president?’ This is BS. Come on,” Gray says.

Jean-Pierre then went on to claim that it was for the doctor’s “privacy.”

“It is inappropriate, it is not acceptable,” she added.

“He’s the president’s doctor,” Gray laughs. “That just ruins your career.”

In another press briefing, Jean-Pierre appeared to be on the brink of tears.

“We literally do everything that we can, my team does, that we can, to make sure that we get the answers to you,” she said. “And sometimes we disagree, sometimes we are not in agreement. But you know what, that’s democracy.”

“And so to say that I’m holding information, or allude to anything else, is unfair, is really, really unfair,” she continued. “And I will admit, I will be the first one to admit, sometimes I get it wrong. At least I admit that.”

Then it got worse, as Jean-Pierre told reporters sometimes she doesn’t “have the information,” but again, at least she admits it.

When she was asked whether or not Biden would submit to a cognitive test, Jean-Pierre said more of absolutely nothing.

“Everything that he does day in and day out, as it relates to delivering for the American people, is a cognitive test.”

CBS News reporter confronts Kirby with the perfect question after US allows UN resolution calling for Gaza ceasefire to pass

CBS News correspondent Ed O'Keefe ruffled John Kirby's feathers on Monday.

The United Nations Security Council unanimously passed a resolution on Monday calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. The U.S. abstained from voting on the resolution, thereby allowing it to be adopted. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was understandably upset and canceled an Israeli delegation's scheduled trip to Washington, D.C.

At the White House press briefing, Kirby justified allowing the resolution to pass by claiming it links a ceasefire to the release of hostages.

But O'Keefe wasn't buying the justification and confronted Kirby over whether the U.S. is taking this new position because President Joe Biden is facing chaotic political headwinds for backing Israel.

"There are U.S. officials today saying Netanyahu is acting this way because he's facing some domestic political pressure. Aren’t there also domestic political pressures facing President Biden, and that’s part of the reason why you all are allowing this to happen today? O'Keefe began. "You’ve got members of the Democratic Party saying he’s doing this wrong. You’ve got the general public suggesting his support for Israel is misplaced.

"Is that part of why this is going through today?" O'Keefe asked.

The question clearly got under Kirby's skin.

"No, absolutely not," Kirby claimed, "and I've got to take issue with the premise of the question.

"The president makes decisions based on the national security interests of the United States, and this decision to abstain on this resolution is in keeping with the national security interests of the United States," he alleged. "And, quite frankly, it's in keeping with the national security concerns of the Israeli people."

Kirby, however, did not explain how the resolution benefits Israel.

Great questions from CBS’s @EdOKeefe.

This is the second time in two weeks that the Biden administration has been forced to address concerns that Biden is waffling on Israel because Democrats are upset that he supports Israel.

Last week, NBC News reported that Biden was outraged when he was told in January that his poll numbers are dipping because of his pro-Israel policies. The White House refused to provide substantive answers to questions about the report, instead calling such inquiries, "the 'When did you stop beating your spouse' question."

Reporters show no mercy over Biden classified docs, Jean-Pierre begs them not to be 'contentious'

Reporters intensely grilled White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday over the classified documents found at President Joe Biden's former private office.

Important questions loom after the White House revealed Biden's personal attorneys discovered classified documents on Nov. 2, six days before the midterm election. The White House is stressing that Biden's team did the "right thing" and being transparent, but the administration is not answering why they waited more than two months to disclose the discovery.

CBS News reporter Ed O'Keefe pressed Jean-Pierre on that precise point.

"Why didn't he or someone in the White House inform the American people when these documents were discovered on Nov. 2?" O'Keefe asked. "Did it have anything to do — because people are asking this part of it — did it have anything to do with the fact that the election was just a few days away?"

The press secretary, however, refused to answer the question. But O'Keefe was not deterred.

"But here's another thing: There was nothing stopping the president of the United States from disclosing the discovery of these classified documents in his former office before it was under Justice Department review," the reporter followed up. "So why didn't he disclose it?"

In response, Jean-Pierre did not answer the question and deferred to Biden's comments.

Earlier in her exchange with O'Keefe, Jean-Pierre begged him not to be "contentious," saying, "We don't need to have this kind of confrontation." She promised to answer his questions, but only ignored them.

NBC News reporter Kristen Welker later confronted Jean-Pierre over Biden's promise to maintain a "spirit of transparency" as president.

"How is it possible that the White House did not reveal the presence of these documents prior to the election when they were found?" she asked, suggesting the delayed action contradicts Biden's promise.

Jean-Pierre, however, refused to answer that question. She vowed not to "go beyond" what the White House counsel's office said on Monday and what Biden said on Tuesday while in Mexico.

When Welker pressed her point, Jean-Pierre stressed that Biden's lawyers "did the right thing" by turning the documents over to the National Archives. She still did not answer why, if the White House is being transparent and did the "right thing," the administration waited two months after the election to disclose the discovery.

Finally, Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy used Biden's own words to question Jean-Pierre about the classified documents, recalling what he said about former President Donald Trump.

"On these documents: How could anyone be that irresponsible? Isn't that what his president says about mishandling classified documents?" Doocy asked.

In response, Jean-Pierre only said that Biden takes "seriously" proper handling of classified information and was "surprised" to learn that highly classified intelligence documents were stored at his private office.

Biden, of course, is so serious about classified documents that he allegedly mishandled them by retaining them in not just one, but at least two different locations. Details about the second batch of documents — including where they were stored, how many classified documents were improperly stored, and their level of classification — were not disclosed.

Reporters highlight how WH lied about nature of Biden's controversial speech — but WH doesn't like the accountability

Mainstream media reporters called out President Joe Biden on Thursday after the tone of his speech contradicted what officials had promised.

The White House, however, did not appreciate the accountability.

What did the WH promise?

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked directly whether Biden's speech would be "political," and she denied that it would be.

"No, it’s not a political speech," Jean-Pierre said. "This is an opportunity, again, for the president to directly have a conversation with the American people."

Reporters, however, appeared not to buy what she was selling, because they repeatedly asked Jean-Pierre how the speech would not be political if Biden would confront "MAGA Republicans" and the threat he believes they pose to American democracy.

What did reporters say?

During Biden's controversial speech, reporters noted how, in fact, Biden's speech was entirely political.

"'Good manners is nothing they’ve ever suffered from,' @POTUS says about protesters at his speech, in which he accused former President Trump and 'MAGA Republicans' of threatening the foundation of U.S. democracy. The White House said earlier today the speech was not political," Reuters reporter Jeff Mason noted.

CBS News reporter Ed O'Keefe, meanwhile, noted the highly partisan optics of Biden's speech.

"Like or loathe what he said tonight, it should be noted: The president spoke tonight on the grounds of a national park, flanked by US Marines, and took direct, specific aim at his predecessor and members of the Republican Party," O'Keefe noted. "Another thing we don’t see everyday."

CNN anchor Brianna Keilar was also heavily critical of Biden.

"Whatever you think of this speech the military is supposed to be apolitical. Positioning Marines in uniform behind President Biden for a political speech flies in the face of that," she tweeted. "It’s wrong when Democrats do it. It’s wrong when Republicans do it."

How did WH respond?

Deputy press secretary Andrew Bates directly responded to each of the journalists, using reporting examples from each respective news outlet to deny that Biden's speech was overly political.

"Except it's not political. In the same way CNN isn't political but has made the same warnings," Bates told Keilar, pointing to CNN stories in which the outlet connected the fight for democracy and Trump supporters.

In response to O'Keefe and Mason, Bates pointed to three CBS News stories and three Reuters stories.

The stories, however, are not comparable to what Biden said. Yes, they may be of similar content, but the criticism of Biden's speech stems from exactly what Mason observed, namely the White House said it would not be "political" — and yet it was.
