'My thoughts were clear, my words clearly were not': Paul Stanley walks back statement on gender transitions for children

Kiss front man Paul Stanley followed up his recent statements about parents pushing children into gender transition surgeries by remarking that his words "clearly were not" clear and that he firmly supports those struggling with sexual identity.

As reported by TimCast, the rock star's pivot comes just four days after his April 30, 2023, online post criticizing parents who push their children into gender transition surgeries too easily and attempt to normalize the act.

"There is a big difference between teaching acceptance and normalizing and even encouraging participation in a lifestyle that confuses young children," Stanley said.

The musician changed his tune in his May 4, 2023, comments, saying “While my thoughts were clear, my words clearly were not. Most importantly and above all else, I support those struggling with their sexual identity while enduring constant hostility and those whose path leads them to reassignment surgery," he explained.

“It’s hard to fathom the kind of conviction that one must feel to take those steps. A paragraph or two will remain far too short to fully convey my thoughts or point of view so I will leave that for another time and place," Stanley concluded.

Stanley's original commentary had garnered support from another politically-outspoken rocker: Dee Snider from the band Twisted Sister.

Snider responded to Stanley's post by saying, "You know what? There was a time where I 'felt pretty' too. Glad my parents didn't jump to any rash conclusions! Well said."

However, that short statement landed Snider in hot water with the San Francisco Pride organization, which announced it would no longer be using Snider's hit song "We're Not Gonna Take It" as its theme song.

"When we were notified about the tweet in which Dee expressed support for Kiss's Paul Stanley's transphobic statement, we were heartbroken and angry. The message perpetuated by that tweet casts doubt on young trans people's ability to self-identify their gender," the gender activists wrote in a statement.

Conservative commentator Matt Walsh criticized the KI band member's new words, calling him a "coward" and "pathetic."

"To hell with cowards who can't stand firmly by the truth. This dude is 70 years old and rich. What does he have to lose exactly? Pathetic," Walsh wrote.

“This is why I didn't rush to praise this guy for his original statement like many conservatives did. I saw the cave coming from a mile away.

To hell with cowards who can't stand firmly by the truth. This dude is 70 years old and rich. What does he have to lose exactly? Pathetic”

Singer Five Times August also noted that it took just days for his prediction that Stanley would backtrack to come true. "More likely they will backtrack and apologize in a few days," he said on May 2, 2023. "Yep. I called it too," he wrote on May 4.

“You have to remember Hollywood really showed us their true colors these last few years. They were absolutely 100% ready to round up half the country and put us all on trains to vax and quarantine camps. No question about it. So you’ll pardon me if I don’t buy their single tweet…”

'What the hell is happening here?' Videos seem to show DIFFERENT Joe Bidens — and people have questions

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden gave a dramatic speech about the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol being a "medieval hell" for our "brave law enforcement officers" and people running around "dripping in blood, surrounded by carnage." However, some people couldn't help noticing that the president's eyes looked weirdly wide and dilated toward the end of this inspirational oration. Also, he didn't blink, like, at all.

“The normal Human Being BLINKS their eyes 15 to 20 times a minute. On the other hand, there's @joebiden”

A few people also seemed to think there was some fancy editing going on.

Just a few hours later, the White House posted a video of President Biden telling Americans that "gas prices have dropped every day this summer" and promising to pressure the oil industry to pump more oil "even as we stay focused on transitioning to a clean energy economy."

“A new report says my Administration’s actions have played a large part in making gas prices lower. And now those prices are coming down fast.”

A Twitter user called "Five Times August" posted the two videos going back and forth and suggested there just might be something fishy going on here.

“Here’s the two videos back and forth. Pay attention to his physical appearance and his voice. Again, both supposedly from today, both only a few hours apart. What the hell is happening here? 🧐”

CNN medical expert now says we can relax mandates — and her reasoning is MADDENING

According to CNN’s medical expert Dr. Leana Wen, we can all relax a bit when it comes to draconian COVID restrictions because, you know, "the science has changed."

CNN's Anderson Cooper shared a video clip on Twitter Monday night, in which Wen argued in favor of lifting some pandemic restrictions and shifting the decision to wear masks from government mandates to individual choice.

"Circumstances have changed. Case counts are declining. Also, the science has changed," Wen said.

Wait, what happened to "don't question the science"? Will Wen or CNN get fact-checked by the social media overlords? And isn't it interesting that, as Democrats quake in the path of oncoming midterm elections, the narrative has conveniently shifted — and all on the same day?

Check it out:

This is truly maddening. Isn't this what the "science deniers," "misinformation spreaders," and "fringe scientists" (ahem, Joe Rogan's podcast) have been smeared, discredited, and canceled for saying all along?

As always, Twitter can be counted on to weigh in:

Shameless.. That's 100% the problem with demanding unquestioned adherence to "The Science" as the ultimate arbiter of policymaking, only to turn around and say "oops, well, tHe ScIeNcE has changed"
— Allan (@Allan) 1644289511

The polling numbers have changed. The political landscape has changed.

That's why you're promoting a different propaganda message now. That's all.

If the science itself had changed, we'd see new peer-reviewed studies that indicate the change.

'Eyes will be plucked out' if west continues to criticize China, says Chinese ambassador

After criticism from the Five Eyes, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesman warned that "eyes" would be "plucked out" if the countries weren't "careful" in how they conducted themselves.
