Bill O’Reilly, Megyn Kelly give INSIDE VIEW on Tucker Carlson/Fox News

Tucker Carlson has left Fox News, and there are many people speculating as to why this happened.

Glenn Beck knows there’s no one better to discuss his departure than former Fox News hosts Megyn Kelly and Bill O’Reilly, who disagree on the reason behind Tucker leaving.

O’Reilly believes it was “the future lawsuits that led to Mr. Carlson’s demise.”

According to O’Reilly, Tucker was completely caught off guard.

“He had no clue,” O’Reilly explains.

“At this time, 24 hours ago, the Tucker Carlson producers were in their morning meeting setting the lineup for Monday night.”

O’Reilly says the first reason Rupert Murdoch made the decision was because Fox News lawyers were worried about a lawsuit filed by a producer who taped Carlson’s broadcast.

Apparently, “those tapes do not make the Carlson broadcast look good.”

There is also the case of Ray Epps, who was on "60 Minutes" Sunday night. Epps claimed to the cameras that Carlson had ruined his life and that he is now facing threats.

Beck and O’Reilly believe this will lead to another lawsuit.

Meghan Kelly joins the show and disagrees with O’Reilly’s take.

She doesn’t believe Fox News would be “scared” of the disgruntled producer who has the tapes, nor of Ray Epps telling "60 Minutes" Tucker had ruined his life.

Kelly believes that because Tucker is a controversial figure who’s always in the news himself, Rupert Murdoch might have “reached the end of his tether.”

“There are reports,” she continues, “that there may be some emails in connection with the Dominion lawsuit that we haven’t seen,” in which Tucker apparently “lambasts people like Rupert.”

Kelly says, “If they think you’re getting too big for your britches over there, they’re not shy about sending you a message.”
