SHOCKING: American towns before and after globalism took our jobs

On a recent Wednesday Night Special, Glenn Beck took a good hard look at how elite-driven trade policies over the last 30 years have gutted America’s middle class.

In 2001, China joined the World Trade Organization. The move was presented as progress, but it ultimately caused nationwide devastation.

“The year China joined the WTO, the U.S. imported $102 billion in goods from China. In 10 years that number has more than tripled to $365 billion,” says Glenn.

Our trade deficit with China suffered tremendously as well.

“[It] tripled over the same period to $273 billion. Last year the deficit was $295 billion — by far our largest trade deficit with any nation,” Glenn adds.

“What is the fallout from this massively lopsided trade with China alone?”

Glenn, citing a 2016 study by an MIT economist, says, “During the first decade after China joined the WTO, the growth of imports from China cost us 2.4 million jobs — 985,000 of those just from a factory floor.”

The study concluded with the following point: International trade results in lower-priced goods and services on average and thus lowers the cost of living. However, low-skilled workers are nearly always worse off. The system creates “winners and losers.”

“This is what Trump is talking about. For far too long our leaders, especially on the left, have been way too comfortable with ignoring the losers in this equation,” says Glenn.

The displacement of American workers, he says, is best seen in “the Rust Belt” — a term created to capture the economic decline, factory closures, and population loss of a region in the United States, mainly in the Midwest and Northeast, that is known for manufacturing.

To illustrate this point, Glenn shows a picture of Galesburg, Illinois, home of the once-booming Maytag factory. Formerly known as “Appliance City,” the plant used to employ 5,000 people, but after “the last refrigerator rolled off the assembly line in 2004,” the site has been reduced to a pile of “rubble and weeds.”

Glenn also gives the example of Youngstown, Ohio — “once a proud hub of American steel, churning out beams that built our skyscrapers.” That is, until Chinese steel was brought in and the factory collapsed.

“Youngstown has lost 60% of its population since 1970,” says Glenn, noting that a significant portion of the exodus occurred “between 2010 and 2012” — about a decade after China joined the WTO.

Glenn’s third example is Gary, Indiana, a major steel manufacturing center and home to U.S. Steel's massive Gary Works plant.

“In the 1970s, 30,000 people worked at that mill alone. Today, it employs 3,700,” says Glenn, adding that the town’s population has decreased 62% over the last several decades and has “10,000 abandoned buildings.”

“Between the year 2000 and 2010, the U.S. lost over 5.5 million manufacturing jobs. That's the steepest drop-off in our history. … It is the draining of the American dream,” he laments.

Trump reveals Ukraine ceasefire challenges and who he blames most

Last week, Glenn Beck sat down for an exclusive interview with President Trump to review his first 100 days in office. It should come as no surprise that they discussed a wide range of topics, as the Trump administration has operated at a pace that is both shocking and awe-inspiring.

Among the list of subjects Glenn brought up — which included executive orders, congressional action, border security, judicial insurrection, and AI development, among others — was the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

President Trump provided valuable insight into the challenges of securing a ceasefire deal in Ukraine, what he believes sparked this war, and why he’s so set on ending it.

Trump told Glenn that had he won in 2020, the war between Russia and Ukraine “would have never happened.”

It was Biden’s energy policies that doubled prices and enabled Putin’s invasion, he explained.

However, falling energy prices, thanks to Trump’s green light on energy production, is now hindering Russia’s efforts. Even still, negotiations to end the war are far from complete.

“Is [Zelenskyy] the problem? Is Putin the problem? Or is Europe the problem?” Glenn asked.

Trump’s answer? It’s complicated, but the majority of the blame falls on Biden.

“This is Biden’s war,” he said, noting the “$350 billion” the former president funneled into Ukraine.

Even though Trump inherited this problem from Biden’s deeply incompetent and corrupt administration, he’s still going to “end it” — not just for the sake of stopping the bleeding of cash, but also because the war is killing “5,000 people a week.”

Unfortunately, Zelenskyy’s demands for security and aid aren’t making negotiations easy.

“He's asking for more, just more and more and more, and he doesn't have the cards,” Trump told Glenn, adding that Putin has actually been the easier of the two to work with.

“I don't believe that Vladimir Putin would be doing this for anybody else but me. ... I think he's willing to make a deal,” he added.

Trump’s First 100 Days: 3 key moments from Glenn Beck’s exclusive interview

Yesterday, Glenn Beck sat down for an exclusive interview with President Trump to review his first 100 days in office. Glenn is the first member of the media to conduct a 100-day retrospective interview, offering a unique window into the administration’s rapid progress.

It should come as no surprise that the duo broached a wide range of topics. From his unprecedented number of executive orders — 130 in just three months! — to the equally unprecedented number of injunctions he’s faced from a rogue judicial system, tariffs, the DOGE, and the border, a lot has happened in a short window.

But that’s what President Trump promised. He pledged to fix America quickly, and every day, he delivers on that promise more. The pace at which his administration is moving is indeed shocking and awe-inspiring.

This exclusive interview captures the energy and determination driving these historic first 100 days, revealing key insights into Trump’s vision and leadership.

Here are the top three moments from President Trump’s conversation with Glenn.

EXCLUSIVE: President Trump on 'Judicial Insurrection,' Tariffs, and 100 Days in Office | Ep 429 youtu.be

1. Congress and codification

When Glenn asked President Trump about his extensive executive orders, which have addressed immigration, government reform, the economy, national security, energy, and cultural issues, he said, “There were just so many things the country needed” after Biden’s destructive term.

Isn’t that the truth?

Yet there’s a growing angst about getting these executive orders codified by Congress. Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” aims to codify key policies, especially those related to border security, energy production, taxes, and deregulation, but its budget focus limits its scope, and GOP infighting between fiscal hawks and moderates has slowed the process.

However, President Trump told Glenn not to worry and expressed faith in Republicans, especially considering their seven-seat majority in the House, which gives them enough votes to pass the bill if they stay united.

“We’re going to codify, and we’re going to wait until after the bill has passed, and then we’re going to work on nothing but codifying,” he said.

2. Judicial insurrection

Glenn reminded us that Bill Clinton deported 12.3 million people; George W. Bush deported 10.3 million people and had six injunctions against him; Barack Obama deported 5.5 million people and had 12 injunctions against him.

But Trump, not even 100 days into his second term, faces more lawsuits than Clinton, Bush, and Obama combined.

“You’re 100 days in, and you have 190 cases against you,” said Glenn.

“It’s obstruction,” Trump agreed, condemning Democrats for trying to protect MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia, whom they’ve painted as an innocent victim.

Regardless of the unprecedented judicial pushback that’s making deportations “so much more difficult than it should be,” Trump expressed confidence. “We’re getting it done, and we’re winning.”

3. Powering the AI revolution

“I think you’re going to be remembered as the AI president,” said Glenn.

“You are the first one to really talk about, really take it on.”

“AI is certainly very important, and we’re pressing it very hard. We have trillions of dollars being invested,” Trump said. However, AI takes “massive amounts of electricity,” more than “we have right now in our country.”

Even though it’s an enormous obstacle, Trump says he’s got a plan.

"We’re going to let them build their own electric plants,” he said, noting that “they can use nuclear [power] if they want.”

“We’re going to get it done very quickly,” he added.

“I call it a national emergency,” but “we’re going to be number one.”

To hear the rest of Glenn and President Trump’s conversation, including their discussion on tariffs, the Ukraine-Russia conflict, justice and accountability for major incidents of fraud, and Elon Musk’s role in the DOGE, watch the full interview above.

EXCLUSIVE: President Trump on ‘judicial insurrection,’ tariffs, and 100 days in office

On Wednesday, Glenn Beck sat down with President Donald Trump to go over the first 100 days of the second Trump administration. Glenn is the first member of the media to get a 100-day retrospective sit-down. And until Thursday night, you can only see it on BlazeTV. So join now and watch!

In his first nearly 100 days in office, President Trump has moved faster to fix America than anyone expected. He created the DOGE, shut the border down, dismantled USAID and its wasteful spending, and put the world on notice that it can’t take advantage of America any more. But there’s still much more to do, and Americans have questions about what’s next.

Glenn sat down with the president in the Roosevelt Room of the White House for this interview. He asked Trump what the real goal of his tariffs is, whether Elon Musk is really stepping back from the DOGE, whether Mexico is a failed narco-state, what his plans are for the cartels, and how he may react to the “judicial insurrection” of judges blocking his deportation orders.

Trump also revealed his game-changing plans for AI and American energy, why he’s not “negotiating” with Europe or the world, whether Putin or Zelenskyy has been easier to deal with, and why he believes Glenn will “be surprised” by congressional Republicans soon.

Russ Vought's OMB begins DEI purge at NASA after Blaze News, 'Glenn TV' investigation

Last week, Blaze News and "Glenn TV" exposed a National Aeronautics and Space Administration playbook created to market its Artemis program, a series of missions paving the way to Mars and beyond.

Artemis, which kicked off under the first Trump administration, initially aimed to "land the first woman and next man" on the moon. Under the Biden administration, the mission was updated, with NASA vowing to "land the first woman and first person of color on the Moon."

'Let science lead the way.'

A 2021 99-slide deck, "The Artemis Brand Playbook," obtained by Blaze News through whistleblowers, outlined a comprehensive, high-budget marketing strategy for the mission, covering branding, messaging, target audiences, potential challenges, and proposed corporate partnerships.

The leaked document, detailing storylines for NASA's mission with listed "antagonists" and "protagonists," revealed the deep integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion goals under the Biden administration.

Two NASA whistleblowers, who asked to remain anonymous due to fear of retaliation, previously spoke to Blaze News about the Artemis playbook and the infiltration of DEI at NASA.

"I was just pretty shocked at how meticulous they were in controlling the narrative and already pre-identifying protagonists, antagonists," one of the scientists stated.

She highlighted the playbook's suggested storylines for the Artemis project, explaining how NASA had "cherry-pick[ed] these rags-to-riches stories ... a lot of it was centered around DEI."

The second scientist noted the "production value" of the extensive slide deck.

"There's probably millions of dollars attached to this document," he told Blaze News.

"NASA, in my opinion, has become a glorified DEI program," he remarked.

A NASA spokesperson confirmed the playbook's authenticity, telling Blaze News that it was "developed in 2021 by a third party, which had limited use at the agency and reflected the priorities of the previous administration."

On day one of President Donald Trump's second administration, he signed an executive action directing the federal government to purge all DEI-related initiatives. However, NASA did not appear to have updated its website to comply with the order.

For example, a webpage about the Artemis program noted that the agency still aimed to "land the first woman, first person of color, and first international partner astronaut on the Moon using innovative technologies to explore more of the lunar surface than ever before."

Last week, "Glenn TV" contacted the Office of Management and Budget to inquire about NASA's apparent lack of compliance with the Trump administration's requirements.

"The language from the website has been changed," an OMB spokesperson responded. "Other changes should be end of day."

"Russ Vought's OMB can be credited," the spokesperson added, referring to the OMB director.

Blaze News confirmed that the language was removed from the webpage.

A learning resources page, titled "What Is the Artemis Program? (Grades 5-8)," was also flagged by "Glenn TV." The Trump administration's OMB stated that it plans to update this webpage as well, which as of Wednesday morning still described the mission as "sending the first woman and first person of color on the Moon."

The whistleblowers shared their reactions to the updates in a statement to Blaze News.

NASA's swift response is a step in the right direction, but the true measure of progress will be whether it leads to real, lasting change. Time and again, we have seen how public messaging diverges from internal reality — leadership makes inspiring commitments in speeches, only for them to be diluted in execution.

The issue at NASA runs far deeper than just the playbook. DEI sits atop a long list of budgetary burdens that have historically come at the expense of other critical priorities, including the very scientists who drive NASA's missions forward.

Scientific achievement should speak for itself — it does not need bureaucracy or public relations teams to temper its message in the name of a politicized agenda. The groundbreaking work of NASA's scientists, engineers, and astronauts is already challenging enough, yet it is too often burdened by unnecessary delays and funding withdrawals. If their work is deemed essential, they must be given the resources and agency to carry it out without interference.

Anything less — especially any reprioritization that shifts focus to DEI at the expense of critical research — is a slap in the face to those scientific efforts.

The real question is whether this administration will prioritize the people who make space exploration possible. True progress comes from discovery, not from reshuffling priorities to satisfy political narratives.

Let science lead the way. Let the scientists, engineers, and astronauts speak for themselves, let them shape their own stories of success, and let them do so free from unnecessary obstacles and agendas.

Leaked documents reveal INSANE DEI plan for NASA

From reckless spending and warmongering to importing illegal immigrants and carving children up in labs, calling it “care,” it’s hard to say which part of living under the Biden-Harris regime was the worst.

The insidious cancer that is diversity, equity, and inclusion certainly makes the top five, though.

Once the administration rubber-stamped the fundamentally flawed system that champions racial division, underperformance, and cultural Marxism, while trashing merit and free speech, it spread like a disease throughout the federal government and then across the country.

There was no place that was safe from the poison of DEI — not even the moon.

In Glenn Beck’s latest Wednesday Night Special, he shares the disturbing contents of newly leaked documents that reveal NASA’s dangerous plan to prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion in its Artemis mission and “put the first woman and first person of color on the Moon.”

The 99-page file, Glenn says, “was leaked exclusively to my team at TheBlaze by two NASA scientists.”

The document outlines NASA’s plan to return to the moon, and yet “there’s no science” in it and there’s “not even a breakdown of cost,” he explains. That’s because the document wasn’t produced by scientists but rather by “public relations gurus,” who use “emotional appeal, psychology, and PR” to manipulate our feelings.

In his first term, President Trump set the U.S. on a path to return to the moon, but when Biden took office, he changed the trajectory. Suddenly it wasn’t about going to the moon again; it was about getting certain people to the moon. “Science [was] replaced by cultural Marxism and DEI.”

The whistleblowers who leaked the documents, Glenn says, unfortunately cannot be on the show or reveal their identities because “they’re still afraid for their jobs, even though they’re now in the private sector.”

Glenn instead shares some quotes from these anonymous sources:

  • “I was told to be seen and not heard in all meetings related to science — as a scientist.”
  • “I was just pretty shocked at how meticulous they were in controlling the narrative and already pre-idenitifying protagonists, antagonists.”
  • “The way that they would cherry-pick these rags-to-riches stories of these astronauts, a lot of it was centered around DEI.”
  • “NASA, in my opinion, has become a glorified DEI program.”

The leaked Artemis playbook reveals “Who [NASA wants] to build massive appeal with and get to participate.”

Big shock incoming …

They’re targeting “underserved and underrepresented groups,” including “BIPOC [Black, Indigenous, and People of Color] youth.”

“In other words, it's not a mission to the moon; it's a marketing campaign for social activism,” says Glenn. “NASA isn't trying just to inspire the next generation of astronauts; they're going to sell an ideology.”

The document, in an effort to employ emotional appeals, outlines the Artemis mission’s “antagonists,” as if their plan to go to the moon were a story in a children’s book.

“The unaware public,” “skeptics who control the budget,” “conspiracy theorists,” and “dissatisfied NASA employees,” among others, are considered threats to the mission.

“I've never seen anything like this from America, and it would make Bernays and Goebbels proud because it was designed to stimulate widespread behavioral changes among individuals,” says Glenn, asking, “When did NASA get into that game?”

Could it be that the space agency is motivated by a “lucrative endgame”?
