Video PROVES reinstated Tennessee Dem is a fraud

Rep. Justin J. Pearson has recently been catapulted to internet stardom after becoming known as one of the “Tennessee Three” — a group that led anti-gun protests on the floor of the state legislature after the recent mass shooting in Nashville.

Lawmakers voted to expel Pearson for his actions, but he has recently been reinstated.

Pearson has been continuing to speak out via the mainstream media with an accent and attitude that have many on the left calling him MLK 2, which has the internet — and Dave Rubin — calling him a fraud.

Why?

A campaign video of Pearson has resurfaced from 2016, in which he speaks in a much less theatrical voice. He is buttoned up, his afro is gone, and he sounds like every other inspired young man preaching unity.

In the video, Pearson says, “I’m Justin J. Pearson and I’m running for President of PSG. There are a few reasons that we’re running this campaign this year. One has to do with representation. How can we represent all voices in a conversation?”

Pearson continues, “I want to bring together different voices. Dissenting voices. Voices that may be more liberal or more conservative. In order that we can reach a point of sort of the radical middle.”

Rubin comments, “That was him as a normal person speaking in normal cadence back in 2016.”

Tennessee Democrats who exploited Nashville massacre to push for gun control voted against bipartisan bill to make schools safer

After a transsexual radical massacred six Christians at the Covenant School on March 27, Republican Gov. Bill Lee and Tennessee lawmakers took swift action to advance legislation that would boost funding and harden security at schools in the state.

HB 322 passed both the state House with a bipartisan 95-4 vote on April 6 and the Senate on April 13 with a unanimous 33-0 vote. Lee is set to sign it into law.

The three Democrats who used the shooting as a springboard for their gun control agenda and media tour did not, however, support the legislation.

Despite having expressed concern over school shootings and invoking the memory of the slain children, Democratic state Reps. Justin Jones of Nashville, Gloria Johnson of Knoxville, and Justin Pearson of Memphis ultimately voted against the school safety bill.

The Tennessean reported that the bill would require schools to:

 • lock exterior doors while students are present;
 • conduct annual incident command bus safety drills, extra to the already required armed intruder drills; and
 • install classroom door locks and secure visitor entry vestibules.

In addition to hardening structural security, the bill would require school districts to ensure staff and experts have the wherewithal required in the event of an emergency. Accordingly, districts must have a threat assessment team and ensure that private security guards undergo annual active shooting training.

Districts will also have to annually provide up-to-date safety plans, floor plans, and security systems access to state and local law enforcement to optimize alignment and interoperability.

While not all of the requirements extend to public charter schools, private schools, and church-related schools, they too will have to ensure that exterior doors are locked, relevant drills are routinely conducted, security guards are trained up, and safety plans are in place.

"While it may not be the full solution to the danger and violence we see in the world, it is certainly a step forward," said House Majority Leader William Lamberth (R).

The three Democrats temporarily expelled from the House — for staging what Tennessee House Speaker Cameron Sexton (R) called an "insurrection" — opposed HB 322, as it did not satisfy their desire to infringe upon Americans' Second Amendment rights or stop access to "weapons of war."

"We don’t want gun battles at our schoolhouse door," Johnson said. "We want our kids to be safe, and to feel safe."

Pearson likened hardening security at schools to making them "more like prisons."

Jones, who has had multiple run-ins with the law, suggested that the addition of more police officers and security at schools was troubling, calling HB 322 a false solution and a "white flag of surrender."

“The TN House is hearing HB 0322 to add more police officer’s to schools as a response to mass shootings and @brotherjones_ calls on the house to listen to the thousands of young people outside and take real action! #NoActionNoPeace”

Jones added, "This is an optical spectacle decision to offer these false solutions. You want exposure when we are saying we want you to do something. This is a very political, calculated decision."

Republican Rep. Scott Campbell intimated that Jones and his two comrades were guilty of what they accused the bill's supporters of, saying, "If you want to talk about playing to the cameras, that’s what just occurred."

Last week, Vice President Kamala Harris praised the trio, suggesting that their expulsion was racially motivated and calling their "insurrection" courageous, reported the Guardian.

Tennessee GOP accused of racism after expelling two black lawmakers

The expulsion of two Democratic lawmakers from the Tennessee House on Thursday quickly became about race.

The Tennessee House voted to expel Reps. Justin Jones (D) and Justin Pearson (D) for breaking chamber rules to participate in a gun control protest at the state Capitol last week. But the third member of their group, Rep. Gloria Johnson (D), narrowly survived her expulsion vote despite facing the same accusations.

The optics of the result — Johnson, a white woman, surviving her vote while two non-white men were expelled — has become the dominating narrative.

"You cannot ignore the racial dynamic of what happened today. Two young black lawmakers get expelled and the one white woman does not? That’s a statement in itself," Pearson said after his expulson.

On CNN, Johnson agreed. "I'm a 60-year-old white woman and they are two young black men."

Jones later said on MSNBC that he was expelled because some of his Republican colleagues viewed him as "an uppity Negro."

Perhaps no one gave a more stinging rebuke than Elie Mystal. He claimed on MSNBC that the expulsion of Pearson and Jones, and not Johnson, demonstrates that white people "hate" black people.

"What the racism comes from is hatred of black folks," he said. "This is just one of those rare situations where white people are getting to see it out in the open, just how desperately they hate us, just how much they do not believe that we should be allowed to be equal citizens in this country."

So why wasn't Johnson expelled?

The resolution to expel Johnson failed by a single vote; seven Republicans joined their Democratic colleagues to oppose Johnson's expulsion.

What likely swayed those Republicans is that Johnson appears to be not guilty of the conduct that her expulsion resolution claimed. On the day of the protest last week, she merely stood with Pearson and Jones. The expulsion resolution claimed she "shouted."

"She did not yell. She did not pound the desk. She did not hold a megaphone, she did not have a button on. She did nothing. She walked from there to there," explained House Democratic Caucus Chairman John Ray Clemmons.

Pearson and Johnson became only the third and fourth members of the Tennessee state House to be expelled since the Civil War.

Tennessee Republicans Boot Democrats Who Incited Insurrection From Committees, Threaten Expulsion

Despite pushback from media, Tennessee Republicans are holding Democrats accountable for their inappropriate actions.

Lawmakers move swiftly to expel three Democrats for their role in 'insurrection' at Tennessee state Capitol

Three Tennessee Democrats face expulsion from the General Assembly for their role in a protest that state House Republicans described as an "insurrection."

What is the background?

Last Thursday, protesters demanding stricter gun control laws overwhelmed the state Capitol.

At one point, three Democratic state lawmakers — Reps. Gloria Johnson, Justin Jones, and Justin Pearson — broke decorum rules when they approached the House chamber lectern without being recognized to speak, whipped out a bullhorn, and participated with protesters who shouted from the chamber galleries.

Tennessee House Speaker Cameron Sexton (R) later described the protest as an "insurrection."

What is happening now?

On Monday, Republicans officially introduced formal resolutions to expel Johnson, Jones, and Pearson from the General Assembly.

The resolution justifies the expulsion based on grounds that the lawmakers "did knowingly and intentionally bring disorder and dishonor to the House of Representatives through their individual and collective actions," according to the Tennessean.

The three lawmakers were also stripped of their committee assignments, and their access to the Capitol was revoked.

The lawmakers are fiercely defending themselves, arguing there was not an "insurrection" and claiming House Republicans refused to let them speak last week.

 • Johnson: "The three of us were tired of our voice not being heard ... and we decided between bills we were going to walk up, we were going to acknowledge the people outside surrounding this building, in the rotunda, and we’re going to speak to their issue and tell them that we are with them, because they needed to hear that."
 • Jones: "Our mics were cut off throughout the week whenever we tried to bring up the issue of gun violence. When I went outside to support those protesting the Speak [sic] cut off my voting machine—the first time I’ve ever seen that happen. The Speaker refused to let us talk during welcoming and honoring to welcome our constituents—the thousands gathered outside the Capitol building."
 • Pearson: "We get punished for doing something like listening to the people of the state of Tennessee."

The vote to expel the lawmakers is expected to take place on Thursday.

Only two Tennessee state lawmakers have been expelled from the state House since the Civil War, and each expulsion was bipartisan. Democrats do not have the votes to block the expulsions.

Far-left state lawmaker says 'Let's Go Brandon' chant 'should be equated with burning the flag' — and detractors give her a harsh history lesson

Rep. Gloria Johnson — a Democratic member of the Tennessee House of Representatives — took to Twitter earlier this week and fired off a post that made a number of folks, in a manner of speaking, see red.

What did she write?

Johnson — who seems to be a very active Twitter user and doesn't appear to appreciate Republicans and conservatives very much — eyeballed a tweet from the Tennessee Holler making fun of the "Let's Go Brandon!" chant and then posted the following:

As a friend said, I think it should be equated with burning the flag, in essence, that’s what they are doing.https://twitter.com/TheTNHoller/status/1460245720330551299 …

"As a friend said, I think it should be equated with burning the flag, in essence, that's what they are doing," Johnson wrote in reference to the "Let's Go Brandon" chant.

What's the background?

As most everyone in America likely knows by now, "Let's Go Brandon!" is code for "F*** Joe Biden!" The chant came to life after a reporter seemingly tried to downplay a "F*** Joe Biden!" chant at a NASCAR race in early October by insisting the crowd actually was cheering "Let's go, Brandon!" for the winner, Brandon Brown.

But no one with an honest pair of operational ears thought that was the case, and since then anti-Biden folks have upped the ante by going all in with "Let's Go Brandon!" at various gatherings to get under the skin of leftist politicians and media members who know full well what the chant stands for.

How did folks react to Johnson's declaration?

While the Democratic lawmaker added a tweet saying, "Reading is fundamental. It's not a legal take, it's a person's opinion. And as a few were smart enough to understand — both are protected speech," detractors still gave Johnson a harsh history lesson, particularly with regard to the fact that many prominent leftists practically made a sport of publicly declaring "F*** Donald Trump" when the Republican commander in chief was in the White House:

"Really? So i assume you also condemned the vile remarks made to our 45th president for four years?" one commenter wondered. "Could you link me to those tweets? Otherwise #LetsGoBrandon."

"Your party loves burning the flag, now you you're against it? Hahahahaha. Yeah, right," another user mocked. "Also, I'll delete this if you can direct me to your phony outrage (and that's exactly what this is) toward the previous occupant of the White House when far worse things were said... and done [to Trump]."
